Oki doki my loves!
This is…wow!
I never thought I’d get here (especially with the spam porn bot invasion of Winter 22/23), but 1k!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I can’t say it hasn’t been challenging, so that is going to be the theme of this celebration- Challenges.
If you are interested in celebrating with me, and you are over 18, then just head on under the cut!
Still here? Excellent!
So- easy bits first.
From now (18th) until 31st of Jan please feel free to send requests for little drabbles- gimme a babe (or several) and a challenge for one/all of them. Sweet, spicy or soft dark! It could be a little challenge. It could be a big challenge. Whatever you want. (See below for some challenge ideas) I write for Marvel characters, CE characters and SS characters.
Also, for the weekend of 28-29th Jan (GMT) I will be answering the usual game asks- FMK, OVA, Would you rather, Cast your Mutuals, and head-canons about the relationships in my various series - please see my masterlist for Marvel and non-Marvel series. You can send asks in advance.
Then the biggy- and this is a challenge for you lovely lot. A writing challenge. A Challenge Yourself challenge. What do I mean?
Is there a character you’ve never got around to writing?
A pairing?

The time limit for the challenge is the end of June 2023 and I’m asking you to use the Tags #Challenge Yourself and #Jen’s 1k Challenge so I can find all your lovely entries and make a master list. I’d prefer if you stick to Marvel/CE/SS characters, but that’s not a hard and fast rule if inspiration strikes.

You held your breath; no one could find out what had happened; after all, in a way, you were betraying HYDRA with what you had done before, and if now they found out what had happened... you didn't even want to think about it.
You could avoid the subject, since outside of the little big incident, which had happened, no one suspected you, and at the end of the day, what mattered was that "you proved your loyalty to HYDRA."
You turned around, carefully observing the surroundings, to make sure that no one had followed you and entered the password; no one was supposed to know about that place, and it was supposed to stay that way.
Even so, you had to come up with a plan to know what to do; Steve could not stay hidden there for eternity.
When Steve heard the sound of the door, he cautiously peered out; he knew he was in a safe place, but he had to make sure, in case something had happened to you.
"It's me; I'm bringing food," you said when you saw him. He smiled and left the shield leaning against the wall.
You usually told him about the situation while you were eating; the situation was critical, but you still couldn't find everyone, among other things.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Steve asked.
"Yes, Steve, everything is fine, but you lied.
"We should run," Steve suggested, and you put down the spoon you were holding.
"You know that's impossible; HYDRA has everything under surveillance. With the simple fact that someone says they thought they saw you, they send all available teams to capture you," you answered without looking away from him. The order they had been given was very clear; they were looking for anyone related to S.H.I.E.L.D., but especially Steve.
"I can't allow Hydra to..."
"I know, but Steve, he's already won. This morning... " You interrupted him; he gave you a dirty look. "This morning they caught Bucky; they have him again in their possession, the soldier said. "You practically whispered the last word.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE?! " Steve blurted out.
"I couldn't escape before; in case you hadn't noticed, they have me under surveillance too; every time I come to bring you food or see you, I'm risking my life," you answered grumpily.
"I have to get him out of there somehow," Steve mumbled. You knew perfectly well what I wanted to do; however, it was impossible unless...
"I think I have an idea; it's too risky, but maybe it could work; I'm not completely sure, but maybe it's worth a try," you said.
With that simple sentence, you completely captured Steve's attention. In his head, he couldn't stop thinking about how to go and save Bucky, but probably your plan was better since all the ones he had thought of had an exaggeratedly high probability of ending badly, very badly.
"What's your plan?" Steve was extremely interested.
"You will enter HYDRA's facilities, not on the sly, but through the front door, and we will gain everyone's trust."
"I don't understand; obviously, as soon as they see me, they're going to try to kill me," Steve interrupted.
"Some time ago, something happened, and they came to believe that I was a traitor...
"You're HYDRA..."
Steve, shut up and let me talk. It's not because I wanted to; all of us, all the mutants who were kids when the Sentinels caught us and sent us to Garland, ended up in HYDRA; it wasn't by our own choice.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know," Steve apologized; he had never had the gentleness to ask you how you ended up there.
"It doesn't matter; well, we can say that you found a way to contact me and that you want to join HYDRA because... well, we'll think of an excuse, and from there it would be easier to find Bucky. I don't know; it's still not perfect, but it's the only thing I could think of in less than ten minutes. I'm not entirely sure if it will work or what consequences it might have," you said.
Steve was silent for a few minutes. He was thinking about what you proposed; it sounded really good. Maybe it would be hard to convince some people, but it would also serve to defeat Hydra from the inside, or at least try.
You began to plan the details quickly. Steve was going to try as hard as necessary to make it go the right way; this time he wasn't going to let the enemies win.

always || kim little x reader ||
You and Kim would always have each other, no matter what.
Your mother was an absolute lifesaver. Today, you started your first day as a football commentator for the WSL. Sports journalism had always been your backup plan, not believing yourself to be a good enough leader to be a coach. Since it was your first day, you had to leave hours earlier than Kim did to get ready.
Still, Kim hadn't wanted to just leave your two year old home alone, so she had dropped him off with your mother on her way to the stadium. A game at Emirates was a big deal, and for you to be making your commentary debut was also huge. You were so nervous, more so than you had been in years for anything else.
Technically, it was nothing new to you to give a bit of commentary here and there. However, now this wasn't just something you did while you waited to get over an injury or your pregnancy. This was your job now that you had retired from football on a club and international level. Kim was excited for you, but it was weird having this be the first season at Arsenal where your name wasn't on any list.
The game itself went well, and you were absolutely elated to announce your wife's early goal. Even better for you was pointing out the celebration that puzzled a few people meant for your son. If you had been given the view of the crowd, you knew for certain that he was mirroring Kim's movements. He wanted to be just like her, Kim was his hero.
After the game, you were free to go down to the field. You had done little interviews with the players before, but now you got to take your son and spend some time with your wife. Kim had taken your son already, and several of the players were running around with him in a circle.
"Oh wow," Kim muttered under her breath as you approached. "You look beautiful, absolutely breathtaking."
You blushed heavily as Kim pulled you in for a kiss. You kissed her back, only breaking the kiss to tell her, "Years later, and you still make me blush."
"It's easy to be charming with you," Kim said. You kept yourself wrapped around you wife, resting your head on top of hers. The two of you stood and watched your son play with her teammates. It was hard to think about, but there would soon come a day whenever neither of you would be a part of this team anymore. You'd keep your friends from it, but there was something else about it that you knew Kim would miss dearly.
"Mumma look!" Both you and Kim looked at your son. She smiled as he tackled the ball away from Jordan to pass it over to Lia.
"He's gonna be the best midfielder in the world one day," you mumbled as you pressed a kiss to Kim's cheek. There had once been a time whenever you had been hopeful that your boy would come out a natural goalkeeper, but Kim's influence on him was too strong. You didn't mind though, not when you got to see the love shared between them firsthand. If there was anybody in the world Kim loved more than you, it was your boy.
"He could change his mind. Someone will come along one day that he finds cooler than me." Kim sounded sad as she spoke, so you turned her around in your arms to give her a kiss. Years ago, you never would have even thought of kissing Kim in public. You'd been caught up in professionalism, but now, all you wanted to do was shout your love for her from every rooftop in London. It was wild to you how quickly a few things could change like that.
"Well, even if he's not obsessed with you anymore, I always will be," you told her. Kim laughed at that, remembering the way you used to follow her around. It had taken years of teasing and encouragement from Jen and a couple of your other teammates for you to finally let any moves be made with Kim. "I may have started a new job, but I'll always be your number one cheerleader."
"Yeah? Well, I can't wait to tell everybody about my very hot wife who talks about how great I am on TV," Kim said. There was a teasing lilt to her voice. You rolled your eyes and brushed off the comment, only to later check tweets about the game to learn that Kim didn't have to say anything to anybody. Everybody already knew about your relationship, and they were eating up the way that you spoke about Kim's playstyle and the rest of your friends at Arsenal.

angel chapter three // angels army
masterlist
a/n : some bits of angel and leah’s team mates!
warnings : cancer, hair loss due to cancer, stilly a fluffy chapter though
Angel’s treatment had fallen into a rhythm that Leah had come to dread: chemo sessions, scans, and days spent fighting fatigue so intense it seemed to weigh on Angel’s tiny body. Through it all, Angel remained brave, finding little sparks of joy where she could, even on the hardest days. Leah never left her side, always ready with a soothing word or a comforting hug. But no one could fight a battle like this alone, and Leah wasn’t about to try.
The Arsenal family had rallied around Leah and Angel from the moment they’d heard the diagnosis. To them, Leah wasn’t just a teammate—she was family. What she and Angel were going through affected all of them. Their bond was built on more than just football; it extended into every part of their lives, from shared victories and defeats to birthdays, celebrations, and now, this struggle.
It started with small gestures: Lia organizing meal deliveries so Leah wouldn’t have to worry about cooking after long hospital stays, Jen setting up a schedule to make sure that one of the team was always there to sit with Angel during her treatments, giving Leah moments to step outside, stretch her legs, or just clear her mind. Each visit brought something special—a new book, a small plush toy, or Angel’s favorite snacks. They wanted her to feel like the world outside the hospital hadn’t forgotten her.
Katie made it a point to visit often, always arriving with a grin and some new story to tell. One afternoon, she brought Angel a handmade bracelet in Arsenal colors, woven with little beads that spelled out “Angel.” She knelt beside the bed and placed it gently around Angel’s wrist.
“Now you have a lucky charm,” Katie said, her voice full of cheer. “Every time you look at it, remember that the whole team is cheering you on, okay?”
Angel nodded, her eyes wide with admiration. She looked down at the bracelet, then back up at Katie. “Thank you, Auntie Katie,” she whispered, her voice small but steady. The smile that followed was like a tiny ray of sunshine breaking through the grey.
Beth showed up with a small portable projector one evening, and together with Leah, they transformed the hospital room into a makeshift movie theater. They played some of Angel’s favorite films, even projecting old Arsenal matches on the wall. Angel lay in bed, eyes sparkling as she watched her mum on the screen, moving effortlessly up and down the pitch. “You’re so fast, Mummy,” she murmured in awe, as Leah sat beside her, wrapping an arm around her daughter’s shoulders.
“Not as fast as you’re going to be when you’re better,” Leah replied, pressing a kiss to the top of Angel’s head.
Other teammates brought touches of home into the sterile hospital environment. Lotte came with fresh flowers every week—sunflowers mostly, because Angel had once told her they were the happiest kind. “They’re like little suns,” Angel had said, and Lotte always made sure to pick out the brightest ones.
Viviparous had come by, carrying an Arsenal scarf that the supporters had signed after a home game. She draped it over Angel’s lap with a soft smile. “The fans wanted you to have this,” Viv said, her voice gentle. “They know you’re fighting, and they’re with you every step of the way.”
The scarf became a comfort item for Angel, something she wrapped around herself on the days when the chemotherapy made her feel like she was floating somewhere far away.
Leah’s parents were also a constant source of support. Her mum took over bedtime stories, coming up with tales of courageous knights who played football with magic powers. Her dad, never one to show much emotion, spent hours at the hospital playing card games with Angel, his gruff exterior melting away as he laughed with his granddaughter.
But the hardest part was when Angel began to lose her hair. At first, it came out in small strands that tangled in Leah’s fingers when she brushed it. Then, clumps began to fall, leaving bald patches that became more prominent with each passing week. One evening, Leah brought a pair of clippers to the hospital. Her heart pounded as she turned them on and heard the low buzz fill the room.
“You know, a lot of footballers shave their heads,” Leah said as she knelt down beside her daughter, who sat on the edge of the hospital bed. “And you’re still our little superstar, no matter what.”
Angel looked up at her, her blue eyes wide with trust. “Like Mummy?”
Leah nodded, fighting to keep her voice from trembling. “Like Mummy,” she agreed. She was halfway through shaving Angel’s hair when Kim and Lia walked in, carrying two small beanie hats they’d brought from the Arsenal shop. They sat down on either side of Angel, showing her how to fold the hats just right so they fit snugly over her bare head.
When Leah was finished, Angel examined herself in the mirror, adjusting the hat over her scalp. “I still look like me, don’t I?” she asked quietly.
Leah’s breath caught in her throat as she met her daughter’s gaze in the mirror. “You look exactly like you,” she said, her voice soft but unwavering. “And you are beautiful.”
To lift Angel’s spirits further, the Arsenal team organized a surprise for her. They set up a live video call during one of their training sessions. Each player took a moment to send Angel a message. They all wore special training shirts with “Angel’s Army” written across the front, and when Angel saw the words, her whole face lit up with excitement.
“Baby, you see that?” Leah said, wrapping an arm around her daughter’s shoulders as they watched the screen together. “They’re playing for you today, love.”
Angel’s eyes shone as she watched Leah’s teammates wave at her through the screen, each sending their love. When Leah looked at her daughter’s face, she saw not a patient in a hospital bed but a warrior with an unbreakable spirit.
The support didn’t stop there. Arsenal fans started raising funds for pediatric cancer charities and dedicated banners to Angel at matches. The Emirates Stadium became a place of solidarity for Angel, with chants of “Angel’s Army” ringing through the stands. Even though she couldn’t be there in person, Angel felt the warmth of every cheer and every sign that spelled out her name.
In those moments, Leah realized just how powerful the Arsenal family truly was. It wasn’t just a club—it was a community that stretched far beyond the pitch, rallying around them in the darkest of times. For Leah, seeing that unyielding support helped strengthen her resolve. This fight wasn’t just hers, nor just Angel’s—it belonged to everyone who had ever cheered for Arsenal, who had believed in them.

synopsis: continuation of yunjin’s version, you invite chaewon over for a little party that you and your girlfriend has planned for her but yunjin has other plans
pairings: huh yunjin, kim chaewon x fem!reader
cw: smut..ofc, g!p yunjin, yunjin is mean, y/n follows yunjin’s lead, a bit of noncon turned dubcon(?), mainly chaewon x reader fucking tbh
a/n: im trying to expand my horizons
today was a special day for chaewon. you and yunjin liked to throw random parties for the bandmates of le sserafim. with that being said, tonight was chaewon’s night. you being you thought that you would be celebrating chaewon with yunjin but unfortunately yunjin was not on the same page as you.
you two greeted chaewon as she walked into the shared space…you two living a few doors down from her.
“hello, unnie.” yunjin hugs chaewon tightly, almost taking her breath away
“hi, hi!” chaewon greeted you two happily. chaewon giving you a few extra stares, yunjin of course noticed it but said nothing about it. chaewon sits next to you on the couch waiting for the next step.
“so unnie, we wanted to plan a special party..just for you...” yunjin starts
“i love how you care for our members, me, y/n. but i can’t help but wonder..when were you going to tell me that you’ve been wanting to fuck my girlfriend?” yunjin slightly raises her voice
“jen, this really isn’t necessary-” “y/n. stay out of it, now answer the question. unnie.” yunjin spits out
“i-i-i didn’t know you two were dating..i swear.” she admits, her face turning beet red as you try to calm her down.
“jen..she has a point. we never told anyone that we were dating.” you mention as you softly rub chaewon’s back, calming her nerves
“i just think that y/n is really cute and i might have had a small crush on her but now that i know that you two are together I will back away.”
“prove it.” yunjin says confidently
“w-what?” you ask
“i said prove it.” yunjin repeats
“what the fuck does that mean?” chaewon replies
“you think she’s cute so fuck her.” yunjin says. she sits on the couch, getting comfortable.
“Jennifer I am not fucking chaewon.” you mention
“oh but you will...” yunjin starts. “or i will leak the video that we recorded the other week.” she says and you gasp.
“you wouldn’t!” you reply and she ignores you
“unnie i expect that you treat my girlfriend with the utmost respect and kindness. i have a camera recording you two, I’ll be upstairs if you need me.” yunjin looks at you. “y/n, be a good girl for unnie, mmkay?” you nod your head at her words before yunjin walks away, leaving the both of you alone in your own thoughts.
it takes a few minutes before you two start to do anything. yunjin even has a microphone to speak to you and chaewon with her length in her hand, waiting for the moment.
“y/n kiss her. you know what to do!” yunjin shouts in the microphone. you scoot closer to chaewon, whispering, “are you ok with this?” and she answers with a “yes..of course.” before pressing your lips up to her soft lips, locking them.
“good girl.” yunjin mumbles into the microphone as she slowly pumps herself up and down as the two of you make out.
she pulls you into her lap as you continue to kiss her. chaewon’s hands run up and down your side while you two make out. luckily for you, you’re wearing a frilly dress with ruffles on the end. chaewon is wearing a cropped top paired with skinny jeans.
chaewon pulls the top part of your dress down, you’re not wearing a bra so your nipples harden at the cool air. chaewon slowly sucks on one of your nipples as her hand moves towards the lower section of your body. she sticks her hand in your panties, you feel her slender fingers rubbing up and down your folds, eliciting a moan from your pretty lips.
“f-fuck.” you mumble. she continues playing with your pussy, pulling away from your breasts. “so wet for me..” she whispers before removing her hand away from your panties. you stand up, stripping of your clothes and chaewon mirrors your actions.
“jen~” you call out to yunjin in a sing songy tone. your girlfriend gets agitated as she was about to cum until you called her name forcing her to stop her movements.
“what?” she says into the microphone, slightly annoyed
“can you get me the dual ended dildo..please?” you ask, sweetly.
“fine.” she says, going to get the toy, coming downstairs, and handing it to you. you and chaewon gulp at the size of her slightly hard cock. she winks and walks away.
you push chaewon on the couch, catching her off guard a bit. “spread those legs for me.” you say. she opens her legs, her pretty cunt on display for you as you spit on the toy before sliding it inside of her entrance, she lets out a long gasp. the other end of the dildo sticks up in the air as you get in between her legs, your ass faces her with your legs intertwined with her legs, in a scissoring position, you slowly sink onto the dildo and start bouncing up and down. as you bounce the dildo thrusts into her at the same time.
“that’s my good girl..show her how its done y/n.” yunjin mumbles as she pumps herself up and down, watching the two of you.
chaewon moans as you bounce up and down on top of her, your ass coming into contact with the inside of her thigh. “y/n.. fuck!” chaewon moans out loud, feeling the dildo thrust deep inside of her. your ego boosts hearing the older girl moan for you.
you continue your assault on her pussy. “fuck..you like that, hm unnie?” you ask. chaewon nods her head. “i love it.” she moans. you continue to bounce yourself up and down on the dildo shared between the two of you. your hole spasms around the toy.
“mmh- unnie im gonna cum!” you shout out as she slaps your ass. yunjin watches you two intensively, feeling herself about to cum.
“i wanna feel you cum all over my pussy.. cum for me!” chaewon shouts as you squirt all over the toy, leaving you to squirt on her pussy. your orgasms triggers both chaewon and yunjin’s. chaewon cums all over the dildo leaving yunjin to cum on her hands.
you fall on top of chaewon, laying there for a few minutes before yunjin comes downstairs to see the two of you, she snaps a pic of your sweaty bodies.
“y/n, you did such a good job!” yunjin comments, helping you up off of chaewon.
“t-thanks.” you breathe out.
“unnie..you did good as well.” yunjin says before going to pick up the tiny camera sitting in front of the two of you.
chaewon’s face turns a bit red as she’s standing there naked while yunjin compliments her. “thank you.” she mumbles. yunjin walks up to chaewon and she grips her face before she smacks her, leaving you in disbelief.
“Jennifer!-” “shut up, y/n. now is not the fucking time.”
“you give my girlfriend googly eyes again and im personally gonna fuck you up, got that?” chaewon hurriedly nods her head
“your fucking words, unnie!” yunjin exclaims
“yes! im sorry, it won’t happen again.” she says, grabbing her clothes and other items that she brought to the house.
“good. go put your clothes on and get the fuck out of here.” after that statement, chaewon indeed got the fuck out of there.
“jen..what the fuck is wrong with you? you’re so mean to her. and don’t you dare put your hands on her again!” you shout
“whatever you say, beautiful.” she says, sarcastically leaving you to roll yours eyes at the woman. she picks you up bridal style and gives you a nice warm bath. you two end the day with eating chocolate and watching movies. you personally reminiscing about you and chaewon’s activities during the day, wanting- no, craving her but alas, that will only be a fantasy of yours since yunjin is wrapped around your pretty, little finger.
a/n: this has been in my drafts for a few weeks, to whoever requested, i hope you liked it!

I keep noticing Leah wearing this rly full cross body bag to all the games so far and I’ve just thought how does a girl need so much stuff with her to watch the game?! Maybe a fic where Leah’s gf questions her about the cross body bag, she gets all shy and it turns out she’s carrying something of her gfs (lucky item, fav t shirt etc) to bring luck for the game. Kinda cute x
this is adorable lucky charms II l.williamson
"babe you'll miss the bus if we don't leave now!" your girlfriend called up the stairs, tapping her foot impatiently. "i can't find my lucky socks!" you called back with a groan, practically destroying your shared bedroom as you hunted around for them with no luck.
"just grab another pair love, this happened last week too!" leah sighed, fiddling with her bag as she again checked the time on her watch. "shift it, we're leaving!" leah decided, knowing if she waited around any longer your anxiety would only worsen.
"yeah and look how last week went." you huffed in annoyance, kit bag slung over your shoulder as you thundered downstairs with a frown. "hey, stop." leah grabbed your hands, pressing your body gently against the wall as she looked into your eyes.
"you've never been a superstitious person before, where's all this come from then?" the blonde asked, concerned at these new behaviours which had arisen within you since the commencement of the new season.
"it's nothing, i'm fine lee. lets just go!" you forced a smile, squeezing her shoulders and moving past her, leah grabbing her car keys and following after you, deciding to table the conversation for later not wanting to rattle you any further.
"i really don't see why you're driving me to colney, then back here, then to the emirates. i could have gotten one of the girls to pick me up or driven myself." you shook your head as your girlfriend pulled out of the driveway.
"because i've missed driving you round, do you know how nice it is to not be stuck with you as a personal chauffeur?" leah teased with a smirk as you smacked her leg, hand resting on her thigh as she drove. "watch it williamson." you warned playfully, though it brought leah comfort to see a smile finally settle back on your face.
~
it was a smile that returned and doubled by the time the final whistle blew to end injury time, you and your girls fighting and scraping for a well deserved three points.
letting out a passionate yell you all but barreled into stina who was the closest person to you, the swede picking you up and swinging you round as a few of your team mates pressed in, all of you hugging and cheering.
"meadoooo!" you hollered, almost tackling the blonde who laughed, tears welling up in her eyes as she hugged you tightly and you mumbled over and over how proud of her you were before she was pulled away to continue the celebrations.
"lessi!" you screamed at your long time friend who was looking around in shock, giant smile plastered on your face as you sprinted at her, jumping into her waiting arms and kissing her forehead, rambling on about how well she played.
"the first goal of many." you promised as she put you back down on your feet.
"hear that? they wanna see ya russo!" katie grinned, joining the two of you and shoving the blonde over to where the fans were chanting for her, her cheeks bright red as her grin only grew. the three of you did your lap, clapping and thanking the fans and chatting among yourselves as jen, steph and caitlin eventually joined you.
you watched as leah embraced your national team mates in bear hugs, watching her mouth move a million miles an hour as she proudly commended everything they fought for the last 100+ minutes.
she caught your eye over alessia's shoulder, giving her one last hug before breaking away as you both started to walk toward each other. meeting in the middle her arms wrapped around you tightly, your face buried in her jacket as her lips lingered on your forehead.
"see? no socks, no problems. i'm so proud of you! didn't stop even for a second." leah breathed out as the two of you hugged tightly, both wishing you could kiss but very hyper aware of the millions of eyes watching.
"i'm sorry for being so fixated on that this morning." you apologized with a small sigh. "so where has all this come from love?" leah asked with a concerned frown, holding you at arms length.
"it's nothing, it's silly." you tried to dismiss it again as leah tightened her grip on you, giving you a knowing look. "i just-" you started, shaking your head. "can we please talk about it later?" you asked with a look around as leah nodded, quickly pulling you into another hug.
"babe what is in this?" you laughed as her bag dug into her hip, leah quickly flinging it over her back with a shake of her head. "nothing." she smiled but you caught the slight blush on her cheeks and gave her a look.
"how do you need that much stuff to watch a game? you bring it with you each week actually! what is so important?" you pushed, leaning around trying to grab the bag as leah shook her head and held you off.
"i'll show you later. team talk time!" she dismissed you with a charming smile, slinging an arm over your shoulder and walking you over to where your team had all begun to huddle together in a circle.
~
"so i was freaking out about the socks because i never had anything consistent last season and there was just...just so much that went wrong and was out of my control." you started, leah looking up from where she was doing the dishes as you appeared, drying her hands and moving to stand in front of you.
"so i thought that maybe if i had some things i was in control of it might, well it might bring us better luck. but i can't even do that right!" you sighed in frustration, head coming to rest on leahs shoulders as she wrapped you up in her arms.
"see, it's silly." you mumbled into her hoodie. "no it's not silly baby, it makes sense. last season was...well, it happened." she sighed in agreement as the two of you swayed for a moment of comfortable silence, wrapped in each others loving embrace.
"i have to show you something." leah let go, moving past you as you followed her into the hallway, the girl grabbing her bag where it hung up with her jacket from today. "i finally get to see whats in this infamous bag." you gasped happily, clapping as leah playfully rolled her eyes and the two of you sat down.
"well similarly to you i was wanting a way to bring us some better luck, even just from the sidelines until i can be back on the pitch and do my bit properly." leah started as you nodded for her to continue.
"so..." leah trailed off, unzipping her bag and starting to unpack what was in it as your mouth opened a little in shock. "i take these to every game now, and i make sure to sit with them when i watch from home." leah admitted, cheeks blushing rosy pink as she finished.
laid out in between the two of you were what a normal person would deem as just an assortment of very random items, but only you and leah knew the real special meaning behind each one.
there was several very faded movie tickets, you couldn't quite make out what movies they were from but when leah had found out you adored the cinema she'd vowed to take you once a week when the two of you first started seeing one another.
there was several cloth wristbands of differing colors, from the multitude of concerts you'd both been to together. accompanied by your favourite coldplay tour t-shirt leah had bought you when you'd seen them live together on your first anniversary.
there was a key ring from the arsenal foundation that leah had brought you back when she'd traveled around with them after the world cup, as well as the beaded bracelet that she'd made you when she was over in jordan.
there were three medals to finish up the small collection, both yours and leahs euro medals as well as your second place medal from the world cup. and of course, last but not least were your lucky socks and leahs own pair of lucky socks, bundled up together in pairs.
"oh leah..." you trailed off softly, tenderly touching the items as memories flooded your mind and your lips curled into a smile, giving her a look of adoration.
"so thats what i always have with me baby, all my lucky charms."

Some Coven of Chaos headcanons
(I haven't watched the finale yet and so I'm coping already just in case. For arguments sake we assume the road was real and at the end it gave Jen, Billy, Agatha and Rio the rest of the coven back, because I'm sappy and live in denial)
They're all alive and meet for holidays. Keep that in mind for the rest of the list.
Jen mixes the best drinks. Alcoholic or not, everyone is convinced there's magic involved. She's got a lifelong ownership of the liqueur cabinet at everyone's house.
Alice can play the cello. Billy is the only one who knows this fact. That is until he can get her tipsy enough to break it out someday play for the coven (he almost got it at Samhain)
Lilia has a "memorial pool" in her backyard.
She was also the one to veto Cats out of Billy's suggestion list for musicals they could go to
Said musical outing has yet to happen since almost everyone voted in a different thing
Agatha voted for wicked.
Rio voted for beetljuice (there was a fight over this, Billy remembers very little of it other than hearing Eddie yell "just because you say it three times doesn't mean your vote counts more". It was the first time he brought Eddie to meet the Coven, and sure at the time he didn't know he was arguing with Death Herself, but Billy was impressed regardless)
Lilia voted for Carmen. When told that Opera was not on the list, she argued that dying granted her an extra vote.
Alice agreed, and so West Side story lives on Billy's whiteboard with 2 votes
Jen voted first and picked Chicago, which Billy also voted for, unfortunately when he tried using Lilia's argument, he was reminded rather aggressively and extensively by Rio that being unmade and Dying are actually two very different things
It's the most anyone has ever heard her talk at once and Billy still regrets not taking out his notebook to remember more of it
Unfortunately he only remembered that he did in fact die as William after he and Eddie were on their way home
Rio hates easter with a passion. She has a great time during Good Friday and then sulks for the rest of the weekend
She also steers clear of most of South America and southern Europe in the ends of cotober-beginning of November, not that she doesn't like the Death related holidays, it's just that people keep spotting her even when she doesn't want them to! It's exclusive to that time of year and she's been trying - and failing- to stop it for centuries
The Titanic was a gift from Agatha to Rio. Yes the Iceberg was an accident, in the way that it rendered useless the very precarious fire she'd set to one of the engine rooms
Rio was very thankful.
Billy's school organised an end of year trip to Italy. That night he got a call from Lilia where she told him the best places to go to, what tourist traps to avoid, and asked if he could bring her back a package stashed away under the floorboards of what he eventually found out was a heavily guarded historical monument
The first time they all actually got together to celebrate anything was Alice's birthday dinner
Agatha found herself with 6 unwanted guests in her kitchen and zero explanation. She did not kick them out, a fact she loudly proclaims to regret as often as possible
There is a group chat
Billy, Alice e and Rio are the most active in it, with Jen following, a bit behind because she "actually has a real job that takes up time that you all seem to have free for some reason" (her herb garden died that afternoon and she refused to answer any of Rio's texts for a week after that.)
Lilia never interacts, and they're not entirely sure she receives the messages, as everyone's phones glitch when they try to check
Agatha leaves them on read
Jen was invited to a beauty event in New York. She brought Billy as her plus one, who proceeded to act as her agent all night, getting her two new brand deals, and a spot on a talk show. She brings him along every time now
To be continued

Making a Little Genius (Malcolm Wilkerson X Reader Smut)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: You and Malcolm have a big party with your friends and family to celebrate you getting engaged and graduating Harvard with doctorates. During said party, you and Malcolm go to the bathroom to have a different kind of celebration.
A/N: based on this ask and this ask, plus some others i probably forgot about. Idk anything about doctorates, graduating college, or tbh probably anything in this fic. Year isn’t specified, but malcolm + reader are like 25. Francis is about 29, Reese 26, Dewey 19, Jamie 10, and the new kid is like 6. I made the newest kid a girl bc i feel like lois deserves it. You don’t need to know any of this, I just thought I’d say just in case lol
C/W: unprotected p in v sex (wrap it before you tap it!), breeding kink, dumbification kink, degrading kink, semi-public sex (empty room at a party), mommy and daddy kink
***
Malcolm had been eyeing you the entire day. It started out innocently. In the morning, he watched you fondly as he helped you decorate the house for the party you were having today. Malcolm paid extra attention to how the engagement ring he had given you shone in the light. After all, it was part of the reason you were having a party in the first place.
At first, Malcolm was against a big celebration. The last thing he needed was his crazy family, mainly his brothers and their children, messing around and breaking everything valuable around his house.
He finally knew how his parents felt about him and his brothers.
But you were always able to convince your boyfriend, now fiance, to loosen up a little. Which was why your little backyard was now crowded with your families and friends. Malcolm tried to stay close to you, but eventually got distracted by Jamie trying to give their little sister Maggie a string of firecrackers. Usually, he wouldn’t be so concerned, despite every Wilkerson child’s destructive streak. But Maggie had grown out of her phase of putting everything in her mouth and had now become very interested in fire and “making things go boom!”
When Malcolm was finally able to wrestle the tiny explosives and lighter out of Maggie’s hands, you were on the porch cooing over your new soon-to-be niece. “I can’t believe you’re a dad now, Reese.” You said, letting baby Olivia grab at your fingers. “It’s like you’re a real grown up.”
“I still have my moments.” Reese smiled with a shrug. “Don’t tell Jen, but sometimes I let Livvie lick the spoon a little when I’m making cakes.”
You snorted, surprised that that was the best example of mischief Reese was able to come up with now. You weren’t going to complain though. It was definitely better than his days of fighting rabid packs of dogs and beating on his brothers. “Your secret’s safe with me.”
“What secret?” Malcolm startled you, making you hold your future niece extra close to you. When you realized it was your fiance who had snuck up on you, you relaxed a bit and smirked at his brother.
“Nothing. Just that Reese isn’t the bad boy he used to be.” You chuckled before catching a glimpse of what Malcolm was holding. “Where did you get firecrackers?”
“Maggie.” He sighed, jerking his head towards the house. “Come on, help me find a place to hide these before we have to buy our neighbors new mailboxes.”
Carefully, you handed Olivia back to her dad before following Malcolm inside the house. While wandering around, looking for a place to hide the tiny explosives, you and Malcolm basked in the rare moment of solitude after hours of being surrounded by your family.
“Olivia’s the cutest thing.” You said as you opened the medicine cabinet in your bathroom. Malcolm nodded, watching you sit on the counter. “Just think. One day, we’ll have some little geniuses of our own running around.”
“Oh yeah?” Malcolm smirked, closing the cabinet and moving to stand in front of you. “How soon do you think?”
The look in his eyes made you smile coyly. “I dunno.” You shrugged, wrapping your arms around Malcolm’s shoulders. “After we’re married with better health insurance would probably be the ideal scenario. But…” You trailed off, letting a hand play with the hair at the nape of Malcolm’s neck.
“But…?” Malcolm encouraged.
“But,” you repeated, lips inching closer to his. “There’s no harm in practicing.”
Malcolm pulled your body against his as he kissed you feverishly. His hands roamed your body, groping your boobs and hips before hiking the skirt of your dress up. You moaned into Malcolm’s mouth as he squeezed your thighs and rutted his growing erection against you. Overwhelmed by desire, you did your best to move your hips in time with his to relieve your aching need for friction.
A whine escaped your lips as Malcolm pulled your top down, making your breasts victim to his licks and bites that were now trailing down from your neck. “Perfect tits.” He muttered against your skin. “Gonna be even more perfect when I make you a mommy.”
While Malcolm pinched your nipples, your somewhat shaky hands traveled down to unbuckle his belt and pull down his zipper. You reached in and started palming him through his boxers, and you bit your lip from how hard he was against you.
“You want Daddy’s cock?” You moaned in response. You never thought that Malcolm would have a daddy kink, or that it would make you this horny. Yet here you were, tugging at Malcolm’s clothes just enough to allow his cock to spring free and spreading your legs as wide as you were able. Malcolm pulled your panties to the side before fisting himself, staring at your pussy that was begging for him. “God, you’re so wet, baby. Gonna fill you up so good.”
When he was fully stiff, Malcolm slowly guided himself into you. It took all his strength to not immediately ram into you; you just felt so good. He started with slow thrusts, allowing you to get used to his size while also trying to release the mutual desperation.
“Mal…” You sighed. “More.”
“Oh yeah? You want more? Want Daddy to fuck you harder?”
Too overwhelmed to speak, you instead nodded furiously and swung your arms around his shoulders to brace yourself for what was to come.
Almost instantly, Malcolm started pistoning in and out of you. You’d never understand where he got the stamina for such a rapid pace. Maybe all the coffee he consumed during finals had made him permanently jittery and speedy. But you weren’t about to complain, not when the drag of his cock against you sent electricity up your spine.
Malcolm reached down to thumb at your clit, and he couldn’t help but let out a breathy laugh when he felt you squeezing him in response. “You like that?” Although the question was genuine, his tone was entirely condescending. It only made you wetter. You tried to respond, but all that came out was a cockdrunk babble. “What was that?” Malcolm slowed his pace a bit, making you whine in protest.
“Fa-...” You could barely finish the word. The hand that wasn’t playing with your clit cupped your face, squeezing your cheeks and forcing you to look at Malcolm. He raised an eyebrow, waiting for you to continue, and all you did was grab his arm and try to move your hips to get him to keep fucking you.
Malcolm laughed, realizing what was happening. “I’m really fucking your brains out, aren’t I? Nothing but a cocksleeve for me.” His degrading just made you even wetter. Deciding to have some mercy on you, Malcolm started pounding into you again. “How much of a genius is this kid gonna be?” He panted, circling your clit vigorously. “Mommy’s a Harvard graduate, but gets too dumb to speak when I fuck her.”
“Gonna…” You took a deep breath, feeling yourself inching closer and closer to the edge. You had an iron grip on Malcolm’s shirt, no doubt wrinkling the fabric in your fist.
“Oh!” Malcolm looked at you with faux surprise. “Got something to say? Come on, tell Daddy what you’re thinking, if you’re even able to form a thought.”
His condescension spurred you on. “Gonna come.” You finally spat out.
Malcolm nodded. “Good girl.” His breathing got heavier with every thrust. “God, I’m so close.”
“In me.” You moaned. “Come in me. Please.”
“Yeah? Want me to fill you up?” Malcolm’s hips stuttered, trying to restrain himself from coming for just a little while longer. “Want me to make you a mommy?”
“Uh huh.” You whined. “Make you a daddy.”
The intensity of your orgasm made you shake, and Malcolm’s quickly followed from your cunt spasming around him. The foreign feeling of his hot seed filling you was intoxicating, and part of you hoped that you wouldn’t get pregnant right away so you could get more of this feeling. Malcolm seemed to like the rawness as well because instead of pulling out, he seemed to be pressing into you as much as he could.
Even when you both came down from your climaxes, you didn’t want to pull away. But you both knew you had to eventually.
“I don’t wanna go back out there.” You mumbled tiredly into Malcolm’s shoulder. He laughed, seeming to share the sentiment as he rubbed your back.
“Yeah, I don’t know how we’re gonna explain us being gone for so long.”
“Or why I’m suddenly walking with a limp.”
Malcolm laughed again, lifting your head up so he could press a kiss to your lips. His gentleness starkly contrasted how he was a few minutes ago.
He rubbed your hip, giving you a few more kisses before speaking again. “You really want a kid?”
You nodded, a grin slowly forming. “I wouldn’t mind a bit more practicing though.”

The Nightmare Come True - Part 5 and The End
Thanks @loopstagirl for the original idea of this whole fic that spiralled far further than I think either of us expected. Scott's POV 1 | Part 1 | Scott's POV 2 | Part 2 | Scott's POV 3 | Part 3 | Scott's POV 4 | Part 4
Christmas had come and gone as loudly as it always did in their house.
The best gift for Gordon was the day his oldest brother had turned up at a training session alongside Jeff, the kid hadn’t stopped talking about it for a week. Jeff had been confident Scott would soon be making his way into the pool himself, especially if his request for an olympic sized pool on their newly purchased island was anything to go by.
John and Virgil had both returned home for the holidays full of stories and with open invites for their big brother to visit them at their respective colleges come the following semester. Scott had been keen, immediately opening his calendar and circling dates between appointments and other plans.
Even Jen had paid a brief visit, greeting the younger brothers as old friends proving just how much Scott had spoken of them all to his squad at one point or another.
By spring Jeff had noticed just how Scott had begun to fill out again, his time in the gym paying off and rebuilding the muscle that had been lost. He was starting to relax, to enjoy life as he once had and found the confidence he had always worn like a comfortable jacket. Gradually, he was becoming a version of the son Jeff recognised.
March was spent in the air, racking up supervised flight hours after passing the required psych exams. It had taken time for him to be comfortable in the pilot's seat again, but Scott had said himself that being in the air was as natural to him as being in the water was for Gordon. All he had needed was a supportive shoulder, one that Jeff was willing to offer.
By his birthday, Scott’s full pilot’s license had been reinstated, giving cause for a celebration alone without the news of John’s new Space Rated status. They had called Virgil on hologram, celebrating from their separate corners of the country louder than they had done over the festive period.
It had been late in the night when Jeff had found Scott out on the porch, a letter discarded but evidently not forgotten in his lap.
“I was going to tell you earlier, but the surprise party kind of distracted me.” Scott had smiled as Jeff had joined him on the step and poured them each a measure of whiskey.
“Cambridge offered me a spot to study English Lit, it’s all online so I’d only need to go over twice a semester so I’d still be able to--” He paused to glance over his shoulder, making sure no younger brothers were lingering in the kitchen.
Jeff had chuckled, glad that Scott was doing something for himself, something that didn’t immediately lead to any plans that had seemingly always been in place.
“You don’t have to, you know?” He had pointed out, “If you want to take some time for yourself before joining the Project…”
Scott had shook his head, grinning as he sipped his drink, “I want to get in the air again, Dad, and that rocket? I’m not letting you have all the fun.”
Both had laughed at the implication, wordlessly reaching their glasses towards one another in a silent salute to everything they had overcome in that year alone.
Things still weren’t perfect, Alan and Gordon were far from happy about moving to a boarding school away from their family. Scott still had a way to go before he was back at his full strength and fitness, but with the encouragement from Val and Lee, he was well on his way to outperforming them all.
“This is what I need.” Scott had nodded, “Despite everything, I’m glad we’ve ended up here Dad.”
Jeff had slung an arm over his shoulders and pulled him close, “Me too kid, me too.”
Of course, it hadn’t lasted.
A short eighteen months later, Jeff had been shot into the farthest reaches of their solar system. He had been sure that he would never see his family, his boys, again. It hadn’t mattered what he had tried with the engines, there had been no way for him to get home. He had tried, time and again to find a way to get through to them but it had eventually become apparent that all he could do was try to stay alive.
He had taken to sketching and writing when he wasn’t trying to keep himself alive, focussing on thoughts of each of his boys. How Scott was at least back doing something he loved, that John had made it to space as he had always wanted to, that Virgil was close to graduating with Honors on his engineering degree, that Gordon would have made it to the Olympics, and Alan at least had four older brothers to look out for him. It had been the thought and memory of them that had kept him going, the irony not lost on him that it had been the same things that had kept Scott going through his imprisonment.
There had been little else to occupy him over those long years.
He had never given up hope, not even as the planetoid had begun to separate beneath his feet, he had known they would come.
Right at the last possible second, he had spotted Scott.
Just like that, their roles were reversed.
Scott had stepped up in the time Jeff had been gone, and the more he had seen of the man his eldest had become, the more his heart had hurt.
He had dropped out of his Literature degree almost immediately after Jeff had gone, had taken up the role of commander in International rescue, and the role of Father to younger brothers that weren’t ready to be orphans. Once again, thanks to Jeff, Scott had lost sight of the man he wanted to be for himself.
Once again, Jeff had vowed to set that right.
There had been months of recovery, hospital appointments and physiotherapy, most of it familiar from the year before he had taken the unexpected trip. Scott had resolutely been at his side through all of it.
“Alan asked how you did it…” Scott had started one night, sat out by the pool waiting for Virgil and Gordon to return home from a rescue.
Jeff hadn’t needed further clarification as he had trailed off. He’d had therapy that morning, had spent the day pulling his boys closer after talking about what the isolation had done to him. Of course, they had all picked up on it.
“I imagine much the same way as you did during the war,” Jeff admitted softly, “Thinking of your family, remembering all the good times.”
Before he had left, talking about the war had been coming easier for Scott. It hadn’t taken long for Jeff to realize that Scott had clammed up once he had no longer had his father to talk to about such times.
Scott snorted, looking out to the horizon, “Admittedly, it’s a good method.”
Jeff smiled sadly across to him, “It got us both a long way.”
It had gotten them both back home, back to their family, to somewhere where they could find their feet again and work towards the version of themselves they wanted to be.
The man sat next to him was physically recovered from his time as a prisoner, but had never found a solid enough footing to find himself amongst all the chaos life had thrown at them.
“You didn’t end up where you were aiming, I’m sorry for that.” Jeff sighed after a moment, reaching out to Scott’s shoulder, “Because of all of this, I think you lost yourself again Scott.”
“I--” For a moment it seemed like he was ready to argue, before his shoulders had fallen and he had nodded in admission, “I became who I needed to be.”
They had shared a look, one that spoke of burdens that had fallen back on tired shoulders that had barely gotten free before being weighed back down again.
“You deserved to live life for yourself Scott.”
Scott ran a hand through his hair, “I know that now.”
“I know it wasn’t my fault,” Jeff continued, “but I’m sorry I wasn’t here to help you see that, Son, I’m sorry that life has been so cruel and unfair.”
Scott’s arm wrapped around his shoulders, “I’m glad you don’t blame yourself.”
Jeff would never admit to him that it was a concept he still sometimes struggled with, but something he was working on regardless. His son didn’t need any more burdens.
“So,” He started, looking across with raised eyebrows, “Alan’s headed to college in the Fall, how about you take another look at that Literature degree?”
Scott’s laugh was full bodied against Jeff, “Yeah, I suppose that doesn’t sound like a bad idea.”
Laughing with his son, Jeff nodded to himself.
They were going to be just fine.

Summary- you and Jenna are out eating with a group of friends from the Wednesday cast and one of her co-stars keeps flirting with you and ends up taking it to far.
Warnings- attempts of sexual assault and fighting
A/N- Thank you for the idea anon sorry if it isn’t exactly what you wanted 🥲 I tried.
You and Jenna were going out tonight with Emma, Hunter, Joy, and Georgie to celebrate finishing the first season of Wednesday. You put on a black dress with a large slit in it while Jenna put on a tux.
“mm we could just stay home honestly.” Jenna walks up to you saying lowly while rubbing your body. “No Jenna we promised we would be at the dinner. Plus you’re the main star in the show.” you say while giggling slightly. Jenna is practically drooling at the sight of you.
“Come on we won’t be long.” She says while pulling you even closer holding you tightly. “No Jen we will be late and the Uber is here.” you say while getting out of grip and grab your purse. Jenna rolls her eyes and follows behind you as you walk to the door locking it behind you guys.
Time skip
Everyone already has there food and is digging in. You are sitting between Jenna and Joy. “You look really nice tonight y/n.” says Joy touching your shoulder. “Thank you Joy.” you give her a small smile. Joy has been complimenting you call night and Jenna is starting to get irritated.
Jenna puts her hand on your thigh and kisses your cheek, hands, and lips to show Joy that your hers. “Ouuu look at the two love birds” says Hunter while everyone laughs. Other then Joy. The tension at the table quickly gets thick and makes you uncomfortable.
“excuse me I’ll be back guys I’m going to the restroom.” You say getting up from the table and quickly walking to the nearest bathroom. You look in the mirror fixing you hair and putting on more lipgloss. Just as you were about to walk out Joy came in. The silence is so loud and awkward so you break it. “Excuse me I’m going back to the table.” you say walking past her until she grips your arm and blocks the door.
“I don’t know why you are acting like you don’t want me y/n..I can treat you better then Jenna can.” She says walking closer to you making you back up into the sink countertop. You gulp as she gets very close to you. “Stop resisting me and just let me please you.” She says in your ear. “Joy stop I don’t want you.” You say trying to move away from her grip.
Her grips get harder. “I guess I’ll just have to take what I want.” She says sliding her hand onto your upper thigh close to your sweet area. You fight and try to push her hand away but she’s to strong. “Joy please stop!” You semi-yell while tears start to stream down your face. Joy grips the back of your head trying to force you into a kiss.
Jenna realizes you’ve been in the bathroom a while so she goes to check on you. When she walks in she instantly gets hot. She pulls Joy off of you and starts throwing punches. Eventually Joy is laying on the ground with blood pouring out of her nose. Jenna grabs your hand and puts her arm around your waist. “I’m so sorry my love I should have came with you to the bathroom when I seen her come in here.” she says softly wiping the tears off your wet cheeks.
You nod letting her know it was okay and she kisses you passionately. Before you guys walk out the bathroom she leans down to Joy. “She’s mines.” And with that you guys walk out leaving her there and go home.

NikPrice Holiday Threadfic
I hit 200 followers and bluesky and did a NikPrice threadfic as a celebration, figured I'd post it here. I will expand on it and post it to ao3 at some point, but y'all get this for now. (Inspired this art of Nik in a Hawaiian shirt by @nekrosmos that lives with me always)
The holiday had been a great idea, honestly.
They'd all earned a bit of R&R after the shitshow of a year. Some sun, sand and relaxation, lazy drinks by the pool and good company.
Except that hadn't worked out.
A hotel a few streets over had flooded. Not a big deal.
Until the convention it had been hosting had every attendee spill over to the hotel they'd picked. From relaxing holiday to surviving the madhouse within hours.
And they'd only just landed.
The lobby was packed with people, a wall of bodies they had to battle through to get to the front counter.
John was already looking forward to hiding in the hotel room and just drinking away the rest of the day, and from the white-knuckle grip Kate had on her luggage, he wouldn't be drinking alone.
When Kate had given their booking number, the receptionist had frowned at their screen in confusion.
They'd politely told them to wait as they made a call, and John could swear he felt Kate's blood pressure rise. There'd already been a cock-up with the flights, so Jen and Nikolai wouldn't be arriving until tomorrow. It wasn't doing wonders for her mood.
The receptionist turned back to them, a sheepish expression on their face, as they apologised for the mix-up. Apparently, in the chaos, their booking had been cancelled.
He can't see Kate's expression from where he's standing, but judging by the way the blood drains out of the receptionist face, he can guess she isn't happy.
To avoid potential bloodshed, he manages to coax Kate down the street to a bar, where she angrily stabs at her phone.
"For fuck's sake." she tosses it down on the table and picks up her drink angrily, most of the wine drained in a single swallow.
"Okay," she says, "I have back ups. We are going to relax if it kills me."
"Might if you don't calm down." he murmurs into his beer, unable to stop the smile at the daggers she glares at him.
"Shut up, John." she mutters.
It takes a few phone calls, and abandoning the beach idea, but at least they have somewhere to stay that isn't infested with tourists and loud screaming children.
It's a cabin, further up river. Jen and Nikolai had managed to change flights and were already there, while John and Kate endured a crowded train ride that left them sore and tired.
But at least they'd made it, finally, with no bloodshed.
The cabin is what some magazine would call 'quaint' or 'rustic'. It's set amongst a forest, with a jetty leading onto the lake. There's even a small dinghy docked at the end.
Against all odds, John feels his shoulder might be beginning to relax.
------
The sun is setting now.
Nikolai had cooked, signing along to the radio while Jen kept them plied with drinks. They've all since collapsed on the couch, the music softly playing in the background, gentle with the fading light.
"Another?" Nik is already handing him the glass, ice clunking amongst the amber liquid.
"Cheers." he raises the glass in toast before taking a sip, savouring the pleasant burn.
Kate is cradling the cocktail with the kind of care most would reserve for their firstborn, and judging by the flush on her cheeks, she's well and truly drunk.
"Wish we'd managed to beach house." she says wistfully, staring into the distance.
"Beach house? You wanted beach house?" Nik teases, falling into the seat next to John, the long line of his thigh warm against John's.
"I'm a beach party girl." Kate deadpans, Jen giggling into her shoulder.
They eventually head to bed, Kate declaring the night was over after Jen and Nik had drunkenly screamed their way through another verse of Queen.
John falls facefirst into the pillow, limbs lax and limber with drink and tries not to think about the memory warmth of a hand on his knee lingering.
When he opens his eyes, there's sunlight filtering through the blinds. His mouth is tacky and his head aches a bit, but a brew and some food should put him right.
Nik's in the kitchen, apparently none the worse for wear as he bustles around humming softly, moving aside so John can make a coffee.
"The other two?" he asks, stirring sugar into his cup.
"Sleeping still. I am thinking they want a quiet day." Nik says, pushing a plate of food towards him.
"Ta." he says, not one to turn down a free meal.
"What's plan for today then?"
John thinks it over, gaze drifting outside.
"Might go fishing. Boat's there." John pauses, glancing over at Nik "You could come along, if you want. S'not for everyone."
Nik beams at him. "I would like that."
-------
It takes a quick trip into town for some gear, but the boat's serviceable. There's a slight breeze, the lake waters rippling.
It's not quite the beach vibes they'd wanted for a holiday. Although that hasn't stopped Nikolai.
"What're you wearing?" John sighs, setting the rods down in the boat.
"I am holiday, I am dressing for occasion." Nik says, holding out his arms to show off the eye searingly bright Hawaiian shirt
Price rolls his eyes, but can't help but smile as Nikolai saunters down the pier like a model on a catwalk. Behind him, Kate has shuffled out of the cabin, clearly hungover with sunglasses crooked on her face.
He gives a wave and laughs as she just flips him off and collapses into a chair.
"Don't drown." he hears her call out.
------
They'd brought beer with them, sitting back and cracking the cans open once they out on the water, lines dangling in the water.
Nik, sneaky bastard, had apparently decided more beach vibes were needed as he stuck a shitty cocktail umbrella into the can.
"You've not got a coconut in there too?" John asks, nudging him as he laughs. "Sadly they did not have any." he chuckles, before looking to John seriously, "I did check." "Course you did, you bleeder." John settles back, tucking his hat forward to block out the worst of the sun,
"Suppose it's not quite the summer holiday we'd wanted." he sighs. "It is sunny at least." Nik says squinting at the bright sunshine beating down of them. "We could have gone to France or Spain for that." John gripes.
"My French is not very good." "My Spanish is worse." John counters.
They enjoy the silence, occasionally reeling in a line. Nik is muttering angrily as he fails to get a worm on the hook for the fifth time. John takes pity on him. "You don't like fishing, do you?" he asks, as he threads the hook through tossing the line back out into the water.
"I have never fished before. I do not think I am very good at it." Nik sighs, taking a drink.
Price shakes his head, "S'alright. Not about being good at it. Just relaxing with company really." "I like the company." Nik says earnestly. Price clears his throat.
"Should hope so, you put up with me enough." he coughs, prepping his own line and casting. "I am enjoying myself just fine." Nik insists.
"Bit rubbish though. We could have done something you liked." John insists.
He feels a bit guilty about it, if he's honest.
Kate had endured one fishing trip with him before telling him that as much as she valued their friendship, if he ever put her on a boat again, she'd hold him underwater until the bubbles stopped. Nik wouldn't threaten him. He'd be more likely to just smile and endure it, which come to think of it, he might be.
"John." Nik says gently, breaking him out of his thoughts, "I am where I want to be." "Stuck with me on a lake?" he looks at Nik doubtfully. "And very happy about it." Nik counters readily, grinning. John nudges him with his shoulder, and they let the conversation drop, a comfortable silence enveloping them. They finish most of the beer, Price settling back and tipping his hat forward. "Might have a kip for a bit." John murmurs, eyelids already heavy. Nik hums. The sunshine and the liquor in his veins has made him pleasantly warm, and he drifts off the sounds of the water lapping against the edge of the boat.
--------
The sun is low in the sky, peeking through the trees when he wakes up. "Christ, how long was I asleep?" he glances down to see Nik snoring at the other end of the boat. He rolls his eyes fondly, nudging Nik with his foot. "Rise and shine, Nik"
Nikolai grumbles, curling in on himself in a way that doesn't melt John's heart in his chest. He shakes him by the shoulder. Nik snorts, looking around before blinking up at him sleepily "Oh, your skin" Nik frowns, gesturing to John's arms "Eh?" As he looks down, he sees what Nik is talking about.
Angry red sunburn covers his arms. John sigh, at least his hat had spared him the worst of it. In his defence, he thought he'd had enough sunblock on. "Can't get any worse at least." he says. The clouds above them choose that moment to open and unleash a torrential downpour. "Fuck." John mutters
Nik meets his very unimpressed look with a grin. "You should know better, Captain" he teases. "Shut it you, help me get the lines in." -------- They're a few meters from the dock when the boat tips over. John bursts through the water, yelling in frustration.
Between the sound of raindrops pelting his hat, he can hear Nik's bright laughter. "What's funny?" Price shouts over the rain. "All of it, no?" comes the reply over his shoulder. He turns and gets a splash of water to the face. "Fuck off." he says, splashing back. There's a moment they lock eyes the challenge mirrored in his gaze. Kate finds them giggling like idiots, shoving water at each other. "What the fuck are you two doing?"
"Fishing." Nik says proudly, sending John into another fit of hysterics, the sheer fucking ridiculousness of the situation finally breaking him.
"Just get inside." Kate says, rolling her eyes.
-------
Later on, John is now realising just how badly he got sunburned. He groans into the pillow, his skin feeling tender and too tight on his body. "You're very stupid sometimes" Kate says, putting a whisky beside him. "My hero." he groans. "Oh hush, you big baby. it's sunburn. You've complained less with bullet wounds." Kate chides, turning to him with her hand on the door handle. "You gonna live until morning?" "No." "That's the spirit." she says nonchalantly, moving down the hallway. John thinks he can hear murmurs but he doesn't care enough to listen. He's too busy feeling sorry for himself. The footsteps reapproach. "I'm not dying, Kate." he grumbles, rolling his eyes. "Glad to hear it." Nik says, closing the door gently behind him. John leans up to look at him and immediately hisses at the pressure on his arms.
"Figured you went to bed already." he says, trying to settle back in a position that doesn't leave him in pain.
"I am." Nik says moving towards the bed. John frowns confused. "What you doing here then?" he asks, tracking Nik as he moves around the room. "Sleeping?" "Not in your room?"
Nik sounds amused when he sighs. "It's a two bedroom cabin, John."
John blinks. He hadn't actually given it much thought the first night. He'd been drunk and tired and just fallen into bed. But-
"Where'd you sleep then?" he asks.
"Couch. But my back is old, this seems more comfortable, no?"
Nik seems to consider something for a moment, looking a little unsure of himself as he says, "If you are not comfortable, I can-"
"No, it's fine. Just-" John breaks off, suddenly unable to meet Nik's eyes "Hadn't thought about it." he finishes lamely.
They sit there awkwardly for a moment.
Nik passes over a tube. "For your arms. Jen said it would help."
It's some kind of moisturiser with 100% natural aloe vera, apparently. He clicks open the tube and gives it a sniff. It's not unpleasant, oddly reminding him of the smell of clean laundry and rain.
It's stickier than he anticipated, though, as he massages it into his forearms.
Price sucks air through his teeth as he twists to get the back of his biceps. The angle is awkward and pulls at the skin, which even with the cooling lotion feel too heated and tight.
"Let me." Nik offers, holding out a hand. Price shakes his head.
"I got it." he insists. Nik shrugs and leans back.
He doesn't 'got it'. After stubbornly trying to shift his shoulder forward only to feel further irritation, he growls and offers the tube out for Nik.
Nik, to his credit, doesn't laugh at him. Just nudges him forward to get a better angle.
John jumps at the first touch of cold cream, Nik murmuring an apology before focusing on the task at hand. Given the size and general way Nik carries himself, his hands are surprisingly gentle.
The thought makes John's stomach twist in a way that he doesn't particularly want to examine too closely
It maybe takes all of a minute, but it feels like an eternity before he hears the click of the cap being closed. He lets out a breath he didn't realise he'd been holding, jumping when Nik pats him on the shoulder.
“Helped?" he asks, raising his eyebrows while John shrugs back into his shirt.
"Yeah, ta." his throat feels tight. His skin feels flushed, wholly unrelated to the sunburn coating his arms. The bed shifts as Nik gets up and busies himself in the bathroom.
Wanting to prevent another awkward conversation, and desperate to ignore that melting feeling in his chest, John makes the very mature decision to avoid the entire thing and just go to sleep.
It nearly works.
The bed dips under Nik's weight as he settles in, snuggling under the blanket before idly asking if John was awake.
John feigns sleep and after a few minutes, he hears Nik's breathing deepen and even out, interrupted by the occasional snore.
Sleep is illusive though, and instead his eyes track the shafts of moonlight shift on the wall, as his mind refuses to settle.
There'd been an awkwardness between him and Nik as of late. Which he desperately wants to fix. They'd had an easy, close friendship for years. But now there were sudden stumbles in their conversations. John could never anticipate them, thrown off every time by the sudden surge of emotions that he couldn't seem to identify.
It left his stomach in knots, blood rushing under his skin and palms sweating. Like he was anxious, but there shouldn't be any reason as to why. He trusted Nik, hell he might trust Nik more than Kate and that was saying something.
It wasn't fear, or caution. But it made him feel skittish in a way that unsettled him. And part of him, didn't want to deal with it. Instead, shoving the emotions away, and desperately trying to steer them back towards normal. Though, he often ends up throwing them further off course, over correcting and stumbling over words.
A heavy sigh leaves him as he burrows into the pillow, hissing again at his arms brushing the cotton.
Maybe he'd talk to Kate about it.
She might at least knock enough sense into him to get him back on track. Stop him putting his foot in his mouth at every opportunity.
--------
Kate has that thousand yard stare she usually gets when he talks about Nik.
"You're very stupid sometimes, John." she says eventually, taking a long sip from her cocktail.
"Bit early innit?" he nods to the mimosa
"I'm. On. Holiday" she says, flicking drops from the glass at him with each word. Price flinches away, but smiles warmly at her. It's nice to see her more playful side, normally hidden under the sturdy persona of competence and intellect.
Though a lot of that is due to Jen, who's very presence seems to immediately thaw Kate's icy exterior. Jen is dancing away in the kitchen, singing off-key to the radio as she washes the dishes.
Kate glances over and smiles in a way that makes Price feel like he's intruding. Like a secret, kept hidden, soft and warm lighting her eyes from within.
He smiles into his coffee.
"Glad you're happy, Kate." he says softly. Kate looks over to him, raising an eyebrow.
"You could be too, you know?" she says coolly, but the shine in her eyes lingers as she glance towards the kitchen.
"I am happy." he argues, frowning. Kate gets that look again, eyes faraway before they focus back on him, intently.
"I used to think I was happy to. But it wasn't happiness. Not really."
"What was it?"
"Status quo." she says simply. "Nothing lost, nothing gained. Until Jen." she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear, "When I met her. I realised that what I'd called happy…it couldn't even compare. Like stepping into the sun after only having a candle to light your way."
She idly draws patterns with the on the table, condensation having slipped down the edge of the glass. "You deserve the sun, John."
"Reckon I had my fair share yesterday." he jokes, gesturing to his arms. She rolls her eyes and flicks another drop at him.
There's the sound of footsteps as Nik shuffles into the room behind them, jaw cracking from a yawn.
"Morning." he says sleepily, eyes still heavy lidded.
"Sleep alright?" John asks, turning back with an elbow over the back of the chair. Which he regrets immediately as the sunburn stings.
"Suffering still, Captain?" Nik teases, pausing on his trek to the kitchen.
He's in agony.
"I'm fine." he smiles, even if it feels a little forced. Nik doesn't call him out on it.
When John turns back, Kate is giving him a very searching look.
"What?" he asks.
She just sighs and pats his hand. "Try enjoy the weather, John." she murmurs, going back to her drink.
-------
There's a nice restaurant in the nearby town. It's got good ratings, the food is apparently a local speciality and the drinks are cheap. It sounds like a good night. That John definitely can't take part in.
Over the course of the day, the skin on his arms had gone from a shiny red to angry and peeling. He feels disgusting and grumpy, patience wearing thin at the constant tug and pull of flaking skin.
Now that night had fallen, he'd set himself on the deck out back with a supply of whisky, deciding he'd earned it after the annoyance of the day.
He can hear the click of high heels in the kitchen, Jen most likely, as she peeks around the door.
"You sure you won't come along?" she calls out. He can hear Kate and Nik speaking from further in the house, words muffled by the walls.
"Nah, I'm good here. Not the best company right now. Reckon I'll turn in early." he smiles, toasting her with his drink.
Jen smiles softly, walking over and dropping a kiss onto his head before calling goodbye as she headed back inside.
Price settles back, gazing at the night sky above him. This far from the city, he can make out some constellations.
The breeze off the lake is cool in the night air as it brushes over him. The amber liquid in his glass delicately swishes against the ice as he eagerly welcomes the smoky heat over his tongue.
For a moment, he closes his eyes and just lets himself exist for a moment. His nerves are still raw, irritated from the pain and constant push and pull of his mind trying to untangle his thoughts.
Kate's words ring in his mind. Was he happy? If he was really honest with himself. He was proud of his accomplishments, grateful for those close to him, his squad, his friends.
He was lonely, though. They'd attended Gaz's wedding last year, and the space beside him had felt emptier than normal. It felt more pronounced when he caught Ghost and Soap being drawn to each other like magnets, like they were the only ones in the room. With Kate and Jen, he wished he had that kind of warm, gentle joy they shared.
Which brought the trail of his thoughts back to Nikolai. The sudden choking awkwardness, the moments he didn't know where to step in case he lost his footing on the precarious edge he found himself perched on.
Kate said it was like having a candle before seeing the sun. He didn't know how to fix that. There was no sun at night.
"John?"
"Christ!" he jumps, knocking the glass over as he spins to look where Nik is sheepishly peeking around the door.
"I did call out, you didn't respond." Nik moves over, settling in the chair next to him.
"Didn't hear." John says, hand over his heart where it's doing it's best to beat out of his chest.
"Didn't mean to scare you." Nik apologises, pouring a fresh whisky after righting the glass.
"You don't scare me," he says without thinking, mind still tangled in the weeds of his thoughts. Nik looks over to him, tilting his head.
"I should hope not." he murmurs, still staring at him with that odd look in his eyes. "You sure you're okay?" he reaches forward, gently touching John's hand, mindful of the angry skin at his wrist.
"M'fine, Nik."
That clench deep in his guts is back again as he feels callused, warm skin against his own fingers. He feels torn between pulling away or turning his hand over to trace the lines on Nik's palm.
"Thought you were going to dinner." he asks instead.
"I thought I should stay." Nik hesitates, and draws his hand back as though something has just occurred to him, "Although I am now realising perhaps you wanted to be alone?"
"No, it's...don't mind the company." he urges. He doesn't mind, truthfully, he just can't imagine he's good company right now. Still turning over Kate's question in his mind.
"Are you happy?" John finds himself asking suddenly. Nik's eyebrows raise in surprise, not expecting it. Neither had John, truthfully, it had just spilled out of him. Nik seems to consider it for a while, his hand shifting so the skin brushes against John's.
"Yes, I would say so. I am on holiday, in a nice cabin with good company." he breathes deeply, staring up at the sky scattered with stars. "I am where I want to be."
The urge to turn his hand, to capture those broad fingers between his own, is strong, but there's still that little dissenting voice at the back of John's mind. That wonders if there's not something better, someone Nik would be better off spending time with than his sorry self.
"Not enjoying a good meal in town?" He can't help it, the need to check, to push, to try to remind Nik of the options he has.
"The food would be pleasant, yes. But I'd rather spend the time with you."
"You- Oh." he swallows, tongue suddenly feeling thick and useless in his mouth. "You came out here to spend time with me."
"That was in doubt?"
John doesn't know what to say, instead taking a long pull from his drink to try to loosen his tongue.
"That was in doubt." Nik repeats, but not a question this time. He leans forward, "Have I done something to upset you?"
"No, no!" John is quick to reassure him, that swooping feeling of being on the wrong foot is back with a vengeance. He scrambles to put it right, hating that he can hear the barest hint of hurt in Nik's voice. "Just...been thinking. "I just - There are better things to spend your time on, right?"
"No." Nik response is sudden, John turning to look at him. There's a conviction in his eyes, a solid, unwavering truth glinting in the dark. John holds it, but still feels confusion drawing his eyebrows down.
"I mean, we're not young men anymore, Nik." he tries, trying to summon the words to get to the heart of what he means. That Nik deserves the world, deserves happiness, Nik deserves the sun.
"You're right. We don't have time for waiting." Nik says softly. John nods, and pulls his hands away.
"Kate was telling me to be happy. Thought maybe someone should tell you, that you deserve that too. More than what you've got now." he mumbles around the glass, staring out at the dark water.
"To have a happiness to share with someone?" Nik rumbles beside him.
"Yeah." he feels relieved, he's gotten that across at least. Even if the snare in his thoughts still won't unravel, it feels like he's at least made sure Nik can be happy. Even if it does feel like his stomach is going to drop out of him. "I wanna meet them first. Make sure they're worth your time."
"I do have someone in mind. " Nik murmurs. John turns to him, surprised. He recovers quickly, nudging him with an elbow before grunting at the sudden chafing on his skin., muttering angrily.
"What are they like?" he asks, settling back and picking up his drink.
"Well, " Nik rubs at his chin. "They're very stubborn. Annoyingly so. But, it makes them dedicated to things they believe in."
"Suppose, still sounds like a pain in the bollocks."
Nik chuckles at that. "Yes, true. But i find it quite charming."
John shifts a bit. His gut clenching oddly. He clears his throat. "S'at all about them then?"
"Sometimes they can miss the point." Nik sighs.
John laughs at that, "Reckon you need someone that can put 2 and 2 together."
Nik hums in agreement. "Hints don't work either."
John sets his glass down, the ice clinking with the motion. "They sound like a pillock." he says. Nik barks out a laugh at that.
"Da. But I find it endearing, even if it is frustrating."
John rests his chin on his hand. It hurts, not just the sunburn, but hearing Nik talk about this person he hadn't known existed. That he's clearly interested in, wants more from. It feels like losing something, he realises. Something he isn't sure he realised how badly he wanted until it was already slipping away from him.
As much as the realisation leaves him reeling, there's a stronger truth beneath it, that he wouldn't let anything stand in the way of: Nik deserves to be happy.
"Why haven't you told 'em then?" he asks, looking at his feet where they're splayed out in front of them, slumping in his chair.
"I'm trying to." Nik says, also looking down at his feet.
Price nudges him, trying to lighten the mood. "Not gonna manage that wasting the night with me." he smiles.
Nik stares at him blankly, running his hand through his hair and sighing in irritation.
"You really are an idiot." he says simply. Before John can put together what he said to set him off, Nik tugs him forward by his collar and kisses him.
John had thought about kissing Nik before. In brief moments before his mind snapped shut and pushed the idea away as something he didn't deserve.
He'd thought it would be different from his past, that he'd have to learn. That it would feel strange with someone else taking the reins, that it would be aggressive and claiming.
But it's not. It's at odds with itself. The thumb stroking along his jaw is firm but gentle. The night air has further chilled around them, but Nik radiates heat. It makes John think of summer and the way light strikes off windows, golden and bright. It feels like the sun.
Nik's teeth scrape against his lip, he tastes like the whisky they'd been sharing, like smoke over water. He can feel the rumble deep in Nik's chest, the heavy weight of an arm around his waist and his head spinning from the lack of oxygen.
It leaves him reeling, unable to do much, unable to reciprocate as his mind runs over the conversation that led them to this point. The person Nik had been talking about. The sunlight shining bright in the middle of the night that Kate said felt like happiness.
Nik pulls away, resting his forehead against John's shoulder, while he's left struck dumb and blinking.
"Oh."
"You're very stupid sometimes." Nik says to his collarbone.
"Been told that a lot lately." John mumbles. His face is radiating heat, not just from the sunburn but the sudden flush that's overtaken him. His hands feel shaky as his heart thunders in his chest.
Nik just waits.
"I don't take hints." he says to the top of Nik's head.
"Nyet. But it is endearing."
John huffs, Nik's hair ruffling with the air. They sit there for a moment, Price trying to find a position that doesn't irritate his arms before Nik captures his hand and holds it instead, pressing a kiss to the back of it.
"How long were you going to wait?" John asks, looking down at him. Nik rests his chin on his chest, slumped over him. It can't be comfortable but he doesn't think there's a force on Earth that could move Nik from where he is.
"As long as needed." he says, voice warm and eyes soft. John feels his cheeks heat again and looks off to the side, grumbling as he can feel Nik chuckle. There feels like there's something Nik isn't saying. John thinks he knows though.
"Kate?" John guesses. Nik stills for a moment, nodding with a sigh.
"Da. Threatened to castrate me if I didn't do something about it. She said you would not realise."
"That all she said?" John asks, unable to stop the smile.
"She may have also mentioned the cabin is cheaper than the therapy from seeing us dance around each other." he pauses, "And that if we didn't sort this out by the end of the week it was remote enough to hide the bodies."
"Lake is deep enough for that." John muses.
"Mhmm." Nik agrees, the vibrations settling into John's ribs. He glances down at where their hands are joined, and slides his thumb along the ridge of Nik's hand, before tugging it upward.
Nik looks up confused.
"C'mon. Can't be comfortable down there." John tugs on his hand again, and gets them to their feet, knees cracking. Nik pulls him, hand spanning over John's jaw as he kisses him again. This time, it feels like John has both feet on the ground. No missteps or stumbling, instead knowing the path to take.
"I like being able to do that now." Nik beams at him. John scoffs, but feels a boyish grin that refuses to shift from his face.
"Shut up, you."
-------
When they wake up the next morning, Kate is giving them a smug look above her coffee cup and Jen giggles somewhere in the kitchen.
Nik's hand is warm in his under the table and his eyes are bright whenever they catch each other's gaze.
He goes to help Jen in the kitchen with the dishes, Kate leans forward, tapping John on the hand.
"Are you happy, John?"
He steals a piece of bacon off her plate, winking at her as he chews.
"You were right." he gives her hand a squeeze, "It's like finding the sun."

Seb helmets: the long awaited sequel
Mugello 2020:
Not on Seb's website, but still on ferraris instagram, Seb had this helmet to celebrate Ferraris 1000th gp. (in the same week, he announced his move to aston martin)
Turkish GP 2021
a beautiful sea creature design to remind us to save our oceans. i personally really love the turtles
Singapore GP 2022
gorgeous neon rainbow on super light absorbent black design. now it can be said with finality (as of yet): jens munser and sebastian vettel never missed when it was about helmets in singapore. i have a keychain of this helmet so I'm especially fond of it.
British GP 2022
ngl i cried a bit just from pulling those pictures up again. he is so loved. i love how even though we know barely anything about sebs family, this helmet shows so much personality from his kids and hanna. this is the most gorgeous helmet of them all. however, shoutout to the subtle nigel mansell design hed have driven with if his family hadn't made a secret birthday helmet for him.
Abu Dhabi 2022
I'm so so proud to be a fan of a driver who loves his fans. The few times I've met Seb, he's always taken his time - often more than allotted - to greet as many people as he could, pose for pictures sign things etc. He feels very genuine in showing his appreciation for his fans and so I think this helmet is a beautiful monument to the love people have for him. He is deeply beloved and in turn, he loves his fans and has shown this from his retirement message that was so much more personal than a press release, over the time between the announcement to his last race and beyond. This helmet is a testament to the way we love Seb and the way he loves us back.
USGP 2022
Peace and Love baby! this gorgeous woodstock inspired piece is incredibly gaudy and glittery and very unapologetically so. i love it deeply but opinions were very split on it
Japan 2022
a very cleverly done thank you to helmet provider arai. who doesn't love opening packages? especially one as beautiful as this one! it's a bit sad to not have the little ninja mascot on the helmet for sebs last f1 race in japan, however, with his 2022 helmet designs being so beautiful and elevated, he outgrew it a bit. important side note about japan 2022 here is sebs battle to the line with fernando alonso.
Hungary 2021
Let us remember this GP for the joy it brought and not the desperation that followed. Seb came, saw and served cunt in his rainbow sneakers, rainbow shirt, rainbow mask and rainbow helmet. He drove to the podium and nothing bad or terrible happened after.
Brazil 2022
the intertwined bars of the german and then, further up, the climate change flag (and the brazilian one on top) are reminiscent of the 2018 german gp helmet!
Austria 2022
The iconic bee helmet! I actually have a few pics of this one from the Austrian GP that i took myself. Even though that GP specifically sucked so hard it made Seb sway towards retiring, the helmet is beautiful and iconic.
Honourable Mentions:
- Miami 2022: the snorkel helmet! first GP underwater, also premiering sebs GIGANTICALLY OVERSIZED climate change t shirt also found in his shoo
- Canada 2022: Canadas Climate Crimes/ stop mining tar sands. this one made a politician on twitter sooooo angry. it lost her rant a bit of credibility that she directly profited from the tar sand mining.
- LGBTQ+ CLEAN OUR OCEANS (Abu Dhabi 2021): the world's to do list. i mostly have to laugh at the unlucky placement of the lgbtq+ and the clean our oceans phrase. why are the cishets exempt from cleaning our oceans? questionable.
- Race4Women: Saudi Arabia 2021. a return of the beautiful day-glow paint.
almost all of sebs helmets are either on the sebsite or deep in jens munsers archives (difficult but not impossible to find)
Seb helmet masterpost
#sebastian vettel#ive seen a few of these helmets irl at the essen motorshow and i honestly just stood there in awe#helmets like this are such an underrated art form

okay but your last annoying sweet gf katie fic had me thinking because i just know she would lose her mind if you ignored her - her ego can’t take it and she’s also secretly clingy af
so here’s my idea/req:
she’s been getting on your nerves a little too much, being all cocky and high and mighty about getting a ball into the net during training that you should have stopped and nutmegging you in the process (bc cmon we all know that she’d eat that up), she’s talking about it non stop so you ignore her to get her to shut up since she’s too quick with her verbal comebacks
only it doesn’t work because she is instantly all over you, doing stuff for you (housewife katie gotta make a comeback) and trying to get you to pay attention to her instead
when it doesn’t work, she just grabs you and forces you into a cuddle until you’re laughing again
nutmeg II k.mccabe
"press in and cut her off!" you heard jen yell over to you as your girlfriend hurtled down the wing, easily passing kimmy and kyra with a few steps. you ran toward her, intending to tap it away from her but you misread her speed, the girl easily stopping and tapping the ball through your open legs as you braced.
you watched on hopelessy after the humiliating enough nutmeg as katies ball soared through the air and swooshed into the back of the net, just skimming the tips of sabs glove as you sighed heavily.
"want some cinnamon for with that nutmeg darlin?" your girlfriend smacked your bum with a grin as she sprinted past you to celebrate with her team, the whistle blowing to end the game as katies team won 5-4.
"that doesn't even make any sense!" you yelled after her with a scowl, the irishwoman only flipping you the bird and sticking her tongue out as you rolled your eyes, kicking at the ground.
this was not something she would let you forget easily.
"-oh and she strikes again!" katie cheered loudly, pumping her fists in the air as she tapped her shinpad through your open legs, nutmegging you as you all showered and changed after training.
"you're so fucking annoying." you muttered, shouldering past her and heading for the showers, the older girl having relentlessly teased you all day about your mistake this morning
at first it was light hearted and of course dating the jokster for years you knew how to take it. but now, almost five hours later, your patience had gone and every little comment, jab and smirk was only rubbing you more and more the wrong way.
you rolled your eyes as you re-entered the change rooms now dressed and ready to leave, her cheeky grin greeting you as you did so, making yet another comment about her goal purposefully loud to steph beside her as you packed up your things.
"better watch it katie, might be single by matchday." jen teased as katie tried to pull you into a hug and you shoved her off, grabbing your bag and your headphones, storming off without another word.
"dog house for you tonight it seems macca." "ah buzz off russo, she loves it."
it took an incredibly silent car ride home with you for katie to realise you may in fact not love it, pushing her away every chance she tried to lay her hand on your thigh, as she always did when driving.
your headphones covering your ears you stared out the window, arms crossed over your chest as you made a point to ignore her and every attempt at making conversation with you.
the moment she pulled in the driveway you were out of the car, popping the boot and grabbing your bag, marching to the front door and waiting impatiently with your headphones round your neck, katie unfortunately having the keys.
"after you gorgeous." the older girl opened the door, gesturing you inside with a charming smile as you refused to even look at her, striding inside as katie frowned, following you inside.
she winced as she heard the bedroom door slam, rubbing the back of her neck realising you were a lot more upset with her than she'd intended. so with a sigh she got to work, determined to make it up to you.
it was around an hour later when the bedroom door opened and you didn't even flinch, eyes trained to the tv as katie shuffled inside. "baby girl?" she tried calling out, huffing when you continued to ignore her.
"i made dinner, your favourite!" she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet, slight hope spiking as you got up from the bed. her face fell when she tried to kiss you and you walked right past her, heading downstairs without a word.
"ah! allow me." she was quick to pull out your chair for you, pushing it in and hurrying into the kitchen, grabbing your plate. "made with love, so much love." katie smiled brightly, placing it down in front of you and trying to peck your lips as your head turned and her kiss fell to your cheek instead.
you didn't give her the satisfaction as you began to eat, not even waiting for her to sit down with her own plate as you normally would. "baby please, i'm sorry for the teasin." katie apologised as she sat across from you, your eyes trained down at your food.
"you did good in the gym babe, hit a new pb right?" silence. "your bum looked well peachy in the new training kit." nothing. "that goal you scored where you did the little flick and sweep around wally was glorious!" crickets.
"oi stop ignorin me!" the irishwoman whined, kicking you gently as you continued to blank her, determined to teach her a lesson. you finished your food in record time, standing to your feet and moving toward the sink as katie hurried after you.
"don't you dare! i'll do it gorgeous." she kissed your cheek and maneuvered you away, running the water to wash up the dishes as you left her to it, moving into the living room and settling into the sofa trying to find something to watch.
you were aware of katies movements around the house but you paid her no mind, engrossed in the latest episode of the kardashians, laughing to yourself as your girlfriend would pause to smile at the sound before returning to what she was doing.
awhile later she sat herself carefully down on the sofa, choosing to give you some space as you felt her eyes burn into the side of your head.
"so i did your washin and i put away all the clean clothes from yesterday, i stripped and remade the bed and sprayed that fabric softner scented shit you bought on the sheets, i cooked dinner and cleaned up afterwards." she listed off with her fingers, your eyes still trained to the tv as you didn't move a muscle.
"i packed your bag already for the trip away to villa on friday, i vacuumed the bedroom and i'll clean the bathroom after we shower tomorrow morning." katie continued, shuffling a little closer and laying her body down so her head laid in your lap.
"what else has a girl gotta do to get back in her missus's good books? help me out here babe i'm dyin!" katie groaned, staring up at you helplessly as you fought the urge to look at her, knowing the minute you did you'd crack and you wanted to carry this on for as long as possible.
"angel? love? baby girl? gorgeous? my everything? future mrs mccabe? superstar? peachy bum?" katie rattled off nickname after nickname, poking and prodding at your face as you swatted her hands away, jaw clenching as you held back a smile.
"right! thats it i've had enough of this then." you squealed as just as suddenly as you'd been sat comfortably on the couch you were thrown over the taller girls shoulder. though still not wanting to give her the satisfaction you crossed your arms and remained silent as she flicked off the lights and the tv, carrying you upstairs to the bedroom.
"look at me!" katie threw you down onto the bed, climbing on top of you as you looked to the ceiling. "i love ya, i love ya, i love ya, i love ya-" the irishwoman attacked your face with her lips, kissing over every inch of skin as your lips couldn't help but curl into a smile.
"alright fine! get off me mccabe." you gave in, the brunettes face lighting up at the sound of your voice. "i love ya, i love ya, i love ya-" she continued to pepper your face with soft kisses, hands tangling in your hair as eventually her lips moved to meet yours.
"did you learn your lesson?" you raised an eyebrow as the two of you lay tangled up together beneath the duvet, katies strong arms wrapped around you as her chin rested on your shoulder and your fingers intertwined with hers as they lay on your stomach.
"i learned that next time i win i'll be sure to tease you behind your back and not to your face. what a sore loser!" "katie!"
