Here is my custom Pizzazz from Hasbro's Jem doll line with a partial reroot in glow in the dark hair, wearing a Fashion Fever dress and custom resin cast jewellery from @jemgirlcreations and repainted by me.

Honestly I was super intimidated by customizing 80s Jem dolls because the size and construction is different to what I'm used to, as well as feeling like I couldn't bring anything new to the table unlike the amazing custom work of people like JemGirl's work.

But doing this as a birthday gift for @houseofmous really ripped that bandaid off for me since now I might not do anything too new or spectacular, but my own flair does come through and I'm incredibly proud of this doll.

“Please don’t.”

Bucky’s head snapped round at the sound of Sam’s voice.

He’d said it so quietly, under his breath, like he hadn’t meant Bucky to hear it.

Bucky, who was half way towards the door of what used to be their shared apartment. Bucky, who had just said he was leaving. Bucky, who could have sworn he just heard his ex tell him not to.

He turned around, took a few steps back into the living area to look at Sam. He was lying on the couch where Bucky had left him. He was in his underwear and a compression tee, cap suit and shield discarded on the floor, a clean bandage on the wound on his leg. Eyes closed. 

Bucky wanted to stay.

He opened his mouth, but cut himself off before he said anything. He remembered last time he’d been here with Sam, how Sam had told him to go. How they’d yelled, how they’d hurt each other.

He’d spent months thinking of something, anything that would make Sam change his mind. Planned and discarded a million romantic gestures, a thousand speeches and a hundred kisses. Who’d have thought all it took was a crappy Avengers mission when they were both in town, and suddenly Bucky was allowed back in.

Sam’s eyes were closed, but he wasn’t asleep. He was probably doing what Bucky was doing, scrambling for anything to say that wouldn’t ruin it.

Bucky made the call. He went into the bedroom, grabbed the green woollen blanket off the bed - his blanket, mind you - and brought it back into the living room. He wrapped Sam up in it, careful over the wound in his leg that Bucky had patched up minutes ago.

And Sam, eyes open now, accepted it. He gingerly turned onto his side and waved his hand towards the chair next to the sofa.

Bucky sat down, not before lingering a little, his hand resting on Sam’s shoulder for as long as he thought he could get away with.

He sat, and he watched Sam fall asleep. 

He wondered if he’d be allowed to stay in the morning.

Okay, I saw jemgirl's post right as I was going to sleep last night. Opened the fic, starting reading, got halfway through chapter 1, was already loving it and closed my eyes to soak in the vibes for a bit ... and fell asleep. 😭😭

But then I woke up at 4 am with my phone next to me, so I did the only logical thing and immediately picked up from where I left off.

Just finished this amazing story and had to find this post again to tell everyone. This is an instant classic in my books. Instant all time fave. I love it so much I can't even form coherent sentences right now!
