This is my dragon character from an old comic I used to make between 2012-2019. (Together with my duck and chick characters that make frequent cameo appearances in my other artworks.) All the food here is vegan : ) In Thailand there is something called เจ, pronounced jeh/jay. It's a type of vegetarianism in Thailand. It is mostly vegan food, but they also remove garlic, onions, and pungent herbs. I'm not entirely sure why these foods are also removed, it's not related to animal rights. I think there is a spiritual reason for it, that these vegetables are considered too stimulating. Some food stalls will have yellow labels or flags, with เจ or 齋  written in red, to show that they sell vegan/vegetarian food. Sometimes เจ, which is Thai, is stylized to look more like Chinese characters, which kinda looks like the number 17. Every year, Thailand has it's Jay/Vegetarian Festival. It is related to the religion Taoism. During this time, streets are filled with stalls that sell jay/vegetarian food. Important news im near the last boss of Sonic Rush and i must pester thee abt it:

- I rlly like Blaze :)

-Finally getting over the Skill Issue (nah but rlly all those posts of thee abt sonic's design philosophy absobed through osmosis made me appreciate its game style more. Its fast n fun :D)

- Blaze is so neat, i like her character arc and how she starts all edgy and softens up

- The ost slaps, Huge Crisis's track has embedded itself into my mind for the greater good

-extra funny to me is a part where Cream calls the eggmans "a pair of eggheads". Normally unremarkable except im playing in spanish and yet she still says it like that so. Cream the rabbit says dickhead canon

- Blaze 🔥🐈🔥

Hell yeah welcome to the Rush club 😎 fun fact: while it's not one of my comfort Sonic games (haven't played it in a while, but I did play it on the actual DS), my name comes from it!

(also yes if you didn't know almost all tracks have a CD version! but sometimes I prefer the in-game version, such as in What U Need's case - i want to eat that bass so much)

Pretty neat that Rush can be considered one of the first Boost games in the series. Advance 2 is the grandpa, Rush is the dad, Unleashed is the son :P and for being the first game relying on a boost gauge, which trivializes some of the challenge, I say they did a pretty good job with the levels, having tons of spectacle but still having a reasonable difficulty curve. Well, in Sonic's campaign. I still don't know who was the genius who said "yeah Blaze should start from the fourth level" :V

But yeah Blaze is cool! She has a super cool design and powers, and her character arc of learning to trust others is very... well, it's fitting with Sonic's general Power of Friendship theme :P (in fact you could compare her to Twilight Sparkle lmaooooo)

Also it seems Cream has learned from the best.

Mmh, I have noticed that you didn't mention the Special Stages. Oh boy. Have fun with them :)

Anyway, I'm happy you had fun with Rush! Rush Adventure is its sadly underrated sequel, which I recommend after you're done :>
