This is the artwork of Jeff Agala, another topic from my research list, His art style is much more scribbled but I think that adds to the art. The things he choses to draw are mostly cartoon characters, comic characters or bizarre characters like the giant tortoise above, I personally prefer the Deadpool art at the top, while he isn't my favourite comic character, I really like the silliness and personality Jeff gave to him.

A Love Letter to Don't Starve

Some of my personal journal pages, breaking down Don't Starve, and the ways the game's unique art style (spearheaded by Jeff Agala) has influenced my work.

just fuckin' vibing on these lines of action and realizing that Wilson's face is so rounded forward in utter guile and curiosity and Maxwell has lit. opposite face shape, his features draw in at the points where Wilson's bow out

also you can draw a pretty strong line between the tip of Wilson's chin and the tip of his forelock in a lot of these stills if you're more of a scientific genius than I am and don't do it on a gosh hekking phone screen with one fingy

Star Trek by Jeff Agala

This is the work of Dan Paladin, I'm not as keen on his work compared to the previous artist I researched which were, Jeff Agala and the game 'Skullgirls', but I appreciate his style is a very specific style and not for everybody, I do like his choice of simplicity and his colour pallets are very clean and vibrant but not too eye catching that its oversimplified. The first image reminds me of the old toy line and video game called 'world of warriors which I will show bellow.

I can never quite decide how to draw Nika because she looks quite significantly different in early concept art, animated portrait, intro cinematic, main menu art, and static splash art. Generally speaking Jeff Agala draws her as (slightly) less conventionally attractive and with more pronounced and bumpy, even gaunt features, while also giving her that bleached platinum blonde hair Westerners seem convinced Russian people somehow naturally have, while Cheol Joo Lee draws her more babe-a-licious and feminine-looking and slightly less visually interesting in that way but in terms of hairstyle and colour and facial features she looks a lot more Russian to me... so I’m torn...
