Everyone knew Landon was yours.

Landon had been pining after you since the day he came to the Salvatore school and you felt the exact same way about him but he was painfully unaware of it.

So it became a game for you, seeing how far you could push Landon before he finally realized; letting your hand linger a little too long on his back, dancing up on him at parties in the woods, showing up to his room without a shirt on for absolutely no reason other than to make him blush.

This went on for an entire year, all of your friends making bets on how long it would take Landon to figure it out but a wrench was thrown in your plans when a new werewolf named Jonah came to school.

He also took a liking to Landon which Jed warned him about but he clearly didn't care.

"Who the hell is that," you growl when you see him hitting on Landon in the hallway between classes.

"His name's Jonah, I tried to tell him that your boy Landon wasn't on the market, guess he didn't get the message," Jed chuckles.

You see Jonah put his hand on Landon's arm and whisper something in his ear and you're fuming.

"He's a dead man, poor kid didn't even last a week," Kaleb laughs at the way you're glaring at him.

You make your way to Landon and Jonah, practically shoving him off Landon.

"I know you're new here and all but I'll only give you one warning, Landon is already spoken for," you huff.

"That's funny, cause Landon was just telling me how he isn't seeing anyone," Jonah grins.

"He's mine so back off," you spit back.

"I am?" Landon says with a smile because of your words.

"Yeah you are," you assure him, taking his hand and storming off, guiding Landon to the nearest empty class room leaving Jed and Kaleb laughing at Jonah who has a dumbfounded look on his face.

Once inside the classroom you push Landon up against the wall, kissing him roughly.

He can't help but let out a low moan as your hands on his waist bring him as close to you as humanly possible.

He grasps at your shoulders, desperately holding onto you as you passionately make out with him.

"So you really like me?" He says pulling away when he runs out of air in his lungs.

"Of course I fucking like you Landon," you say kissing down his neck which makes him moan again.

I actually love how they show the evolution of the school with stuff like adapting to monsters and giving the students a voice

I will never understand why Penelope acted like Lizzie and Josie couldn't both run for council. It was an open election. All she had to do was put her name in.

To recap in the past four episodes she has spent her energy trying to win over Rafael, trying to convince everyone to hate Penelope and not talk about her, trying to get offensive magic put into the school curriculum, trying to get everyone to lose the football game, and trying to drive a deeper wedge between Hope and Lizzie during community service. Now which part of that is taking care of Lizzie?

The woods are both quiet and full of noise at the same time. Rafael's sure that it would be even louder if he had the extra sharpened senses of a vampire, but his own heightened hearing is enough. The gentle spring breeze ruffling through the leaves around him, little animals scuttling around, the quiet creak of the wood beneath them.

He looks across at Jed. He's leaned back against the tree conveniently placed right next to the old mill, where they're currently perched. There's no one else around and the roof is almost always empty either way.

Jed's eyes are on the sky, but the light of the moon is casting over him in streaks. One particularly large strip is illuminating half of his face. His eyes are bright and soft, content. Rafael can feel it, too. It's something about the moon, he supposes.

"If you're trying to be subtle about staring at me, you're doing a terrible job," Jed says, his mouth curving into a grin, but his eyes stay on the stars.

Rafael laughs softly. "Well, who said I was tryna be subtle?"

He stretches his leg out across the roof, gently nudging Jed's, grinning as well. Jed meets his gaze.

"It's admiring, not staring," he adds.

Jed snorts, but his eyes soften even further as he shakes his head at him. Rafael swears there's a touch of gold to his eyes all of the time, but especially now. He had thought that the moon was a curse to him when he found out what he was, but now, sitting under it like this with Jed, seeing how it lights up the things he loves, it doesn't feel all that bad.

"Cute," Jed says dryly. He then motions a hand. "Get over here."

"Nah, I like the view from here just fine."

"Raf."

Rolling his eyes, Rafael says, "Alright, alright," and pushes himself over the roof to Jed's side.

He leans his shoulder into the tree, facing Jed, who turns his head to let his gaze follow. The moonlight is brighter from here, but it still shines over them. Happy, he smiles at Jed, then rests his chin on his shoulder when he turns his head back to the sky. Okay, this is good, too, he thinks.

"She's going to be okay, right?" You asked, glancing up at Alaric as you ran your fingers gently down Hope's cheekbone, a solemn look on your face as Alaric affirmed Hope would be fine.

"I told you not to go where I can't follow... I'm so getting you back for this, Mikaelson." You whispered to Hope's sleeping form, teleporting back to your room before anyone else came in.

"She sounds hopeful." Nora whispered, leaning into Mary-Louise's touch as arms wrapped around her.

"Nature won't let a loophole die. Hope will come back, she won't be a vampire just yet." B/m/n theorised as Mary-Louise rolled her eyes.

You either had to put on one hell of a performance, or skip out on the whole thing so you didn't collapse of exhaustion.

"We've got work to do, where is Y/n?" Lizzie disguised as Hope asked, as Jed shrugged, MG shook his head and Kaleb sighed.

"Probably getting ready, or something, you know how Y/n is."

You rolled your eyes as you walked around the school, invisible, listening. The school were rude about Lizzie and her behaviour, her mental health, and it was pissing you off.

"Where's my dad?" Lizzie disguised as Hope asked, before glancing around with a frown, "Where's Y/n, you'd think she'd be here!"

You were about to uncloak when a cold feeling ran over you, uncloaking to hear people gasping.

"Hope Mikaelson, are you in my head?" Echoed in your ears, but the crunching noise was louder as whoever was behind you extracted your heart, your body dropping to the floor like a flightless bird.

"Phoenix down and out. Angel down." The Necromancer whispered to himself as Alaric began to stir from his slumber on the bar countertop.

"Did you see-"

"No, I didn't see who did that."

Your body was laid on the ground next to the open coffin holding 'Lizzie's' body, aka Hope's sleeping form, as everyone expected you to wake up at some point during MG's eulogy.

But you didn't.

"Why isn't she waking up?" Mary-Louise growled, hiding her shaking hands by holding Nora, who looked horrified at the idea of you dying.

"She's not here." B/m/n whispered, glancing around in case your spirit arrived.

"What... where am I? Why am I not back yet?"

"You've grown so much. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you grow up. You'll be back with your friends soon, my daughter. I just wanted to see you first." A voice explained, your eyes burned slightly as you turned to where it was coming from.

"What? Who are you?"

"The name I gave your mother, is Angelo. I'm your father." The bright light explained, before taking on human form for a moment.

"Aren't you supposed to be in Malivore?" You deadpanned, not believing whoever this was for a second.

"That's the thing about angels. We're hard to kill, and the Necromancer knows that. He has no hold over me." Angelo explained, the light glowing brightly as you sighed, rubbing at your eyes.

"Should have had my heart ripped out wearing sunglasses..."

"Landon should be back by now." Raf stated, looking at Landon's body on the bed.

"Yeah. That's not our only problem." Alaric stated as he stepped closer to Landon's body, turning as Raf frowned.

"I don't understand, what's wrong with them?" Raf asked as Alaric led him to the secret room in the headmaster's office.

"I'm not sure. But Hope won't wake up, and Y/n hasn't come back either. She healed but neither of them will wake." Alaric admitted, folding his arms.

"This isn't good."

"The school without our daughter, the tribrid and much to my reluctance, that flaming pidgeon they call a phoenix, is doomed." Nora whispered, wiping away a stray tear as she looked over your body.

The amount of (lame) TVD cameos in S1 was wild considering they did not keep that energy up

If I had a nickel for every time the Salvatore School made a fake exchange program with Mystic Falls High over a murder, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice

I freaking love them with all my heart. They have the iconic enemies to lovers trope. Amazing development. Great chemistry. Funny bickering and ughhh did I say great chemistry? Because they do. They also truly understand each other. Clarke was one of the only honest people about becoming the Tribrid and Landon being in Malivore, when her friends were the ones lying to her and not accepting her fate. Hope is truly the only person we’ve seen care about Clarke. And they would of been just so iconic if they were given the chance. Ugh I’m mad there isn’t enough fan fictions of them 😭😭😭 Because I know the chances we even see Clarke before the series end is low. 😭😭😭 This is my Legacies OTP and can’t be topped.
