Costume Notes: So I only have one blurry photo from the 1987′s Japonica ver. so I opted to skip that year and go straight to the second time the Japonica ver. was performed which was in London at the Dominion Theatre. Seeing as the reason it went to London was due to the popularity and interest, and the closeness between the first and second production I would assume the costumes are near identical perhaps even recycled from the 87 run. The reason I added a photo of Jesus is to show a better view on the black markings applied to the trouser, though Jesus’ costume markings differs form Judas the method in application should be the same.
