🌟What to Expect at a Chinese Massage?🌟
In our fast-paced world, finding moments to recharge is a must. Enter the Chinese massage – a blend of ancient wisdom and modern serenity. 🌸 Curious about what's in store? Let's take a peek!
What's Chinese Massage, Anyway? 🤔
Chinese massage, or Tui Na, is like a personalized energy dance for your body. Imagine a harmony-restoring session where the therapist uses magical hand moves to keep your "Qi" (energy) in top form. ✨
What's in the Experience? 📋
🗣️ Pre-Massage Chat: Before the relaxation begins, you'll have a heart-to-heart with the therapist. They'll want to know your wellness wishes to create a tailor-made experience.
🕺 Dress Comfortably: No fancy attire needed here! Slip into something cozy, as you'll either chill in a chair or lounge comfortably.
✋ Hands-On Magic: Get ready for some hands-on action! The therapist will knead, press, and stretch using their skilled hands, fingers, and even elbows.
📍 Acupoint Wonders: Ever heard of acupoints? These are like energy hubs in your body. The therapist will give them some extra love to keep your Qi flowing smoothly.
🌈 Sensational Sensations: Get ready for a symphony of feels – warmth, tingles, and a serenade of relaxation. Some spots might feel tender, but that's just tension saying its goodbyes.
🧘 Zen State: It's all about reaching peak relaxation mode. By the end, you'll practically float out of the room.
📝 Post-Massage Tips: After the magic, you might snag some advice on stretches or wellness tips to keep that post-massage glow going strong.
A Chinese massage isn't just any massage – it's a fusion of ancient secrets and modern bliss, all rolled into one. 🎈 So, if you're ready to reset, rejuvenate, and relish in the art of energy harmony, a Chinese massage is your golden ticket. 🌟 Time to embrace the relaxation revolution! 🌿

rafe takes over ward’s business and sweetheartkook!reader ends up opening a spa. it’s high luxury but she upcharges kooks and down charges pogues. no one complains though and no one allowed to talk about pricing. she made him wait till she’s out of college to get married. they live in tannyhill and have six kids by “accident”. five girls and the youngest is a boy. rafe really has his hands full with the girls. they have a vacation home in cuba or brazil or puerto rico or mexico or whatever country the reader’s family is originally from. reader makes rafe reopen the turtle habitat. favorite aunt is wheezie cause duh.
pope took over for the corner and wildchild!reader is a teacher for the younger kids. she’s now teaching pouges not kooks and yes she all the kids were in her classroom at one point. got married right after college but didn’t tell anyone for a year. they live near his parents so they could see their grandchildren. they end up having four kids which suprised everyone. smart as hell like their dad but reckless like their mom. two girls two boys. the kids favorite uncle is jb cause he’s laidback and titi kie cause she kidnaps to go save turtles and protests.

Chapter Ten
Two weeks later I sat in Heyward’s office, it was only the two of us, “ Ruby.. your hearts getting weaker again and by this rate? You’d be lucky to make it through the night “ he said and my heart dropped.
I willed the tears not to form in my eyes and nodded, “ just- do me a favor? Don’t say or think about to JJ” I said and stood up, walking out.
I sat on the couch and small smile formed as John B called, “ hey big bro” I said, trying my best to sound like I used to, “ what’s going on? Are you coming home soon?” He asked and the tears finally formed, “ no um not yet.. I’m going to Sweden for treatments..” I lied, “ what? No you’re not . No , you’re coming home” he said frantically, “ just- picture me on the couch drinking a beer or something “ I said and he scoffed, “ you want me to visualize? That’s it I’m getting a plane ticket “ he said , “ no! I mean by the time you get here I’ll probably be done. And besides it’s not even like a hospital.. it’s more like a spa..” I said quietly.
John B sighed on the other end, “ just promise you’ll be home soon?” He said and tears streamed down my face, I couldn’t make that promise, “ I promise..” I said and willed my voice not to crack from how hard I was crying, “ I love you Rue..” he said and I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to compose myself, “ I love you to JB..” I said and hung up.
A pathetic sob escaped my lips as I covered my face with my hands, I vaguely heard the sound of a cup being placed on the table before the couch dipped beside me.
I looked up and saw JJ next to me, he reached forward and cradled my face in his hands, wiping my tears away with his thumbs, “ I’m sorry..” he said, only making me cry harder, “ I haven’t been here for you. I should’ve been I just got scared..” he said, “ it’s okay..” I said quietly and looked in his eyes.
He smiled at me then got a confused look, “ Wait- say something again” he said and I raised my eyebrow, “ like what?” I asked and gasped as he put his hands on my stomach, “ I can hear his thoughts “ he said and looked down at me, “ h-how?” I asked in amazement and put my hands over his, “ I thought he was like me but he’s not.. he’s good and pure.. he’s like you Ruby. He loves you” he said and I sobbed, “ of course he does..” I said with a slight smile.
I watched as he laid his head on my stomach, I’d missed him being around and suddenly my heart twinged- this was possibly the last moment I’d ever have with him.
I tried my best to push away the thought and ran my hand through his hair, I wanted to tell him what Heyward said but I couldn’t bring myself to do it, how do you tell the love of your life that you’re dying and there won’t be enough time to save yourself?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
He’d left a bit ago since the girls wanted some time with me and everyone else had gone hunting, I’d finally decided on names.
I looked up and smiled as JJ came in with Rafe, “ go on. Tell them” Sage said, making me laugh, “ okay so. If it’s a girl Delilah Rae “ I said and messed with my rings, “ and um if it’s a boy.. Dallas James..” I said and looked up at JJ.
Kiara didn’t seem too thrilled about the names so of course Rafe had to jab at her, I rolled my eyes and reached for my cup- only something didn’t feel right.
The cup slipped from my hand but what we all weren’t expecting was the loud snap my back made, it knocked the breath out of me and I fell to my knees as my back yet made another snap.
And suddenly I was in JJ’s arms, I could barely even register anything besides the pain both inside and out.
He set me on the bed and Sage injected Morphine into my arm but she quickly realized it wouldn’t do anything helpful.
My eyes widened as she grabbed the scalpel, “ don’t- just let the morphine spread” JJ warned but she didn’t listen, “ there’s no time he’s dying “ Sage said and I cried out as she started to slice open my stomach.
The pain was unbearable and I panted as Sage stared at the scalpel, my blood was sending her into a frenzy, “ I-I can’t I’m sorry” she rushed out and ran from the room.
JJ hung his head and I took a shaky breath, it was just me and him now, this would be his ultimate test of strength.
I hoped to god that he passed.

Sunday, Day 3, July 7, 2024
We got to play our first round of golf this morning.  We played the Alisa at Turnberry.
First, if you read my post of yesterday, you heard about my delayed golf bag.  Well, luck and fate was on my side (along with our outstanding driver, Joe Marshall).  Joe showed up very early at the Glasgow airport and, despite the baggage company worker calling in sick, found another person with a key, entered their office and retrieved Gordon’s and my golf bag and drove an hour back to Turnberry with our clubs.  He arrived 20 minutes before our tee time.  He was our hero.
We teed off in 2 groups at 10 a.m. with 8 caddies in tow.  The first group was Johnny and the Young Guys (sounds like a band?).  The Young Guys were Taylor, Todd and Tim.  Our second group consisted of Jim H., Jim T., Gordon and myself.  Jim H. was given the former caddie master, Willie, who was a true professional caddie.  My caddy was Lee.
The golf course was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations.  It was a typical links golf course.  Gorge in the rough, with heather in the fields and traps everywhere (just ask JB).  The holes along the sea were remarkable, especially, Holes 9, 10 and 11.  While no one broke the course record, there were several lateral shots (that dreaded S word) from Todd, Gordon and myself and there were also several lost golf balls contributed to the local economy.
After golf, the Young Guys played another 18 holes (same 9 twice) on the alternate short course.  They got to use a buggy (i.e., a golf cart).  Jim H. Jim T and I went to the spa and sat in the hot tub and alternated jumping in the cold indoor swimming pool.  The spa is world class, just like the hotel.
Before dinner, we met for drinks and encountered several great new friends.  I met a golf pro (on the European Tour) and his girlfriend (a blogger, for “a couple of golfers”).  They were from London.  Next, we met a local member of the club, who entertained us with his Marlon Brando immitation. The video is too large to post on this site, so I will try to post it on my social media pages.
For dinner, we ate on the property at the Duel In the Sun restaurant (name for the famous golf battle between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus at The Open in 1977). Most of us ate local fish and chips and it was great.
We ended the day at the hotel bar.  Tomorrow, we are playing Western Gailes (about 40 miles north) and then driving to Edinburgh to continue our venture.
Cheerio.

The Lavender Relieve pedicure kit encapsulates the tranquility of Lavender, inviting you to indulge in a sensory journey that not only pampers your feet but also provides relief and relaxation.
Tumblr media
The Four Steps to Lavender Bliss
Sea Salt Soak:
Commence your Lavender Love journey with a luxurious sea salt soak. Immerse your feet in the calming waters infused with lavender essence. The sea salt softens your skin and prepares it for the subsequent pampering steps. Close your eyes and let the soothing aroma transport you to fields of blooming Lavender.
Sugar Scrub:
The next step involves the application of a lavender-infused sugar scrub. This gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, leaving your feet soft and rejuvenated. The granules of the scrub work their magic, ensuring a velvety smoothness that enhances the overall texture of your skin. Breathe in the Lavender Love as you indulge in this aromatic scrubbing experience.
Mud Masque:
Elevate your Lavender Relieve with a lavender mud masque. This step is not just about detoxification; it's a moment of indulgence. The masque, enriched with lavender extracts, draws out impurities, refreshes, and revitalizes your skin. As the masque sets, feel the calming properties of Lavender working their magic.
Massage Cream:
The final touch involves the application of a lavender-infused massage cream. This step is the epitome of Lavender Love, where the human touch meets the aromatic embrace of Lavender.  Drive without Fear: Why Paint Protection Film from JB Auto Spa in San Jose is a Must-Have
Tumblr media
Driving is not just a means of transportation; it's an experience that provides a sense of freedom and adventure. The thrill of hitting the road can quickly turn into anxiety when you start worrying about the wear and tear your vehicle's paint might endure. This is where paint protection film (PPF) comes to the rescue. If you're in the San Jose area, JB Auto Spa offers a solution that will not only ensure your vehicle's pristine appearance but also allow you to drive without fear of chips, scratches, and other damages. Let's delve into why opting for PPF from JB Auto Spa is a wise choice.
The Ultimate Shield for Your Vehicle's Paint
The daily commute exposes your vehicle to various hazards – gravel, road debris, bird droppings, and even unexpected hailstorms. JB Auto Spa's Paint Protection Film acts as a robust shield, forming an invisible barrier that absorbs the impact of these elements, preventing unsightly scratches and chips on your car's paintwork. The film's self-healing properties ensure that minor abrasions vanish over time, maintaining the car's glossy finish. Whether you're cruising through urban streets or venturing onto rugged terrains, PPF offers peace of mind by safeguarding your investment.
Seamlessly Integrated Invisibility
One of the common concerns with protective films is their impact on a vehicle's aesthetic appeal. JB Auto Spa's Paint Protection Film is designed to be virtually invisible. Expert technicians precisely tailor the film to fit your car's contours, ensuring that it blends seamlessly into the paintwork. This means you can enjoy the benefits of protection without compromising the elegance of your vehicle. Whether you're driving a sleek sports car or a rugged SUV, the PPF remains discreet while working relentlessly to fend off potential damage.
Longevity and Value Retention
Investing in a vehicle goes beyond the initial purchase – it's about maintaining its value over time. Paint damage not only diminishes the visual appeal but also affects the resale value. JB Auto Spa's Paint Protection Film not only guards your car's exterior against harm but also contributes to retaining its value. By preventing paint fading and keeping the surface pristine, paint protection film San Jose ensures that your vehicle looks as good as new even years down the line. Whether you plan to keep your car for years or eventually trade it in, PPF is a smart choice that pays off in the long run.
In a world where your vehicle's appearance speaks volumes about your style and attention to detail, protecting its paint should be a top priority. With JB Auto Spa's Paint Protection Film in San Jose, you can drive confidently, knowing that your vehicle is shielded from the elements and wear and tear. It's not just about safeguarding your car's exterior; it's about preserving the joy of driving without fearing the road ahead. Experience the freedom to explore, the confidence to stand out, and the assurance that your vehicle will always look its best with PPF San Jose from JB Auto Spa.
