hi friends

sorry I disappeared without saying much of anything. nothing really happened for those who were worried, I just got busy with work and personal life. things are mostly good rn but I just can't see myself having time for giffing or tumblr for a little bit as work continues to get even crazier (im a year 12 teacher and it's the end of semester aka exam and major assessment season). as has been with the last 2 cbs, idk if I'll be around during promos to gif and rb all of your creations, but I do hope to get back into giffing and seeing what all my beloveds have made once I get a break from work next month. I can't promise I'll rb everything that's been building up in my tag, but I'll do my best to engage with those who have made tumblr such a wonderful place for me these past few years.

idk what the point of this is. ig I'm just trying to explain where I've been and where i will be for the next little while and assure anyone who was worried that things are okay. I will remain on semi hiatus for the time being and tbh I think it'll stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Here's an update as I have had big gaps in between posts and request delays.

I am writing I promise I am taking small breaks to make sure I don't burn out with kinktober a month away I'm jam-packed but requests will be out fairly constantly since kinktober won't be posted for another month.

I also take breaks when my brain is lagging for my own metal health and the sake of my creativity.

Also life is a bit hectic in general.

But don't worry I will still be writing and interacting ☺️

boy, did this one take a while!! whenever i got very stuck on a part, i made myself close the file and go do another study to get over the wall, so this was done on and off over a few weeks. the timelapse for this one is long, and inelegant, but if i just showed you the stuff that came together in a 'pretty' way i'd be doing the both of us a disservice

there's a part very near the end of the timelapse where it looks like nothing is happening. it is, it's just very zoomed in. i hand drew the marquis outlines on the shards

nearly crying because my favorite childhood artist is back and I'm all grown up and I can also draw now and ik she never will see my things but omg i feel so much joy because I feel like I'm back to happier times of when I was tiny just learning to draw and tracing from the screen to the paper and watching shadamy slideshows on youtube after i spent the whole weekend playing transformice

See. The thing is. If I had the time/energy/drive to do so, I could draw over all of Annie's sprites in the intro cutscene and replace them with Jazz. So it WAS me sleeping on Anton's lap like in my pfp. Bc all the sprite files are available for modding since it's rendered in-engine. But that is way too fucking hard and also I'm NOT recording new audio of her lines in my voice or the part where Anton refers to her by name. But please imagine it okay? Yayy

okay. just, spare me your spin you tablet tabloid. like, if you want to psychoanalyse someone, dont look at ME. look at THEM !!! like, its so pathetic, how they run to fetch their sticks. sure, you can call me polemic or like unsympathetic or whatever. atleast I know other tricks,,,,,,,

Is it just me or do psychiatrists (or I guess whoever is in charge of diagnosing?) never like to be straight forward with their answers. They never say “I can confirm, you have X” or “You’re X”

They always seem to say something like “You definitely display traits of X” or “You have symptoms of X”

I’ve looked this question up and apparently this is on purpose because they want the patients(?) to be able to decide for themselves what they want to do, and to not let a diagnosis completely dictate their mindset or actions or something along those lines. Which is like- understandable!!! But!!!!!! This doesn’t help with my imposter syndrome???????????

When tryna get diagnosed with ADHD a couple months ago, I was told that tho I definitely had traits and stuff, it would be difficult to explicitly say if I had ADHD or not because I’m autistic and have anxiety, which can cause many overlaps in symptoms and whatnot which makes everything a billion times more confusing. But despite that, they still prescribed me ADHD medication (YIPPEE :D) but I’m so confused fjdgkfhfj

CAN I say I have ADHD then?? Or just “traits”? It’s when I got diagnosed with OCD all over again fjdgkfhfj. DO I REALLY HAVE OCD???? LIKE YEAH I HAVE ALL THE SYMPTOMS OF OCD AND IT NEGATIVELY IMPACTS MY LIFE EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL DAY BUT WHAT IF I DON’T ACTUALLY HAVE IT???

Fun fact, one common thing with OCD is self doubt, the need for constant reassurance and ironically enough imposter syndrome fjdgkfhfj

Kay but like what if I don’t actually have ADHD or OCD- What if I’m just looking for reasons so I don’t feel lazy or delusional- What if I just want an excuse for why I’m extremely anxious and overwhelmed by everything all the time-

I keep wanting to ask my parents the same question “Are you sure I was properly diagnosed and I’m okay to say I have X?” even tho I WAS THE ONE THAT DID ALL THE RESEARCH AND WAS THE ONE TO EVEN ASK ABOUT LOOKING INTO A DIAGNOSIS ANYWAY. Every single time I say “I have OCD” or “I have ADHD” I feel like a frickin liar for some reason

I love my scrambled eggs of a brain and it’s disorganised and imbalance of funky hormones and funky chemicals <3
