Funko was already on thin ice for making too many POP figures that end up in the landfill. Now I find out they used a shitty AI program to take down someone's itch.io fanpage for Funko Fusion, which caused the whole site to temporarily go down.
Fortunately, itch.io is back up, but... for me, this is the final straw. I'm never buying Funko products new from stores again. I'm not buying Funko Fusion, either.
In fact, considering future FNAF merch is going to be made by Jazwares, who openly supported Israel's genocide of Gaza, it's probably not in my best interest to buy most FNAF products brand new.
I guess this is just what happens when you have a franchise as big as FNAF. You're gonna partner up with huge soulless companies who are too destructive to exist, and yet they do, because capitalism rules the world, and capitalism only cares about maximizing profit, not who they have to harm to get it.

so I’m back at my uni home for term time…. you know what that means….
MY FULL WRESTLING FIGURE COLLECTION !!!!

so here’s how I have them all displayed! as you can see I prefer to keep them with their original box, but with secondhand figures you don’t always get the box :(
anyway time to do roll call!

aew unrivaled ringside collectibles exclusive danhausen! he doesn’t stand by himself very well so I have to prop him up

aew unrivaled ringside collectibles exclusive hook!
fun fact! hookhausen got me into aew! so it felt only right to get their figures (also I miss hookhausen why did tk split them up?)

So here we have the njpw storm collectibles desperado in white gear! I picked this one because I miss Suzuki gun although I do want the black variant because it looks fucking cool! aew unrivaled series 8 kris stat and oc! stats knee joint is fucked on her non braced leg. art reflects life or whatever. also this oc was the first in my collection :3

We have unrivaled series 8 chuck taylor and trent. i miss chuck taylor and best friends should have won the belts when they were feuding with ftr. i will not take criticism or any other conflicting thoughts on the matter. Then of course, my sasha banks mercedes mone elite collection series 44! i got here for £5, making her the cheapest in my collection!

and last but not least, my machine guns figures! the figures from 2007 don’t exactly sit well (because the sabin literally just came out of his box for the first time lol) but this is the only space i have left on my shelf. i’ve talked in depth about the ones from 2010 in my other post, but I left out that these are the most expensive figures in my collection. i won’t tell you how much i spent, just know i was desperate.
And that’s the collection so far!
I’m hoping to get my hands on the ringside exclusive jay white at some point and also the two new oc figures (unrivaled 16 and the jazwares vault exclusive) but i’m broke rn so that’s not happening anytime soon

Wait so rh legit had no choice but to choose jazwares anyway?
Also why the hell is everyone criticizing rh players for buying the doll but literally nobody gives a flying FUCK if you buy squishmallows?
This is misogyny at its finest, folks. People hate women making a name for themselves on the internet, and make stupid hypocritical arguments that sweeps up the people who actually care, too.
Same thing with vivziepop. She gets accused of shit every other minute, 99% is straight up blasphemy and the other stuff was when literally EVERYONE was doing it because it was OKAY. people shit on her ass for fuckin swearing fuckin every other fuckin word (fuckin) in her shows but plenty of other shows swear WAY MORE and NOBODY EVER BRINGS THEM UP!
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, but the demons lead the charge. I swear.
How Royale High somewhat fucked themselves over.
In case you were wondering, yeah, I've also seen those 'the downfall of Royale high' videos where it's 8 minutes of them stringing you along for that sweet ad revenue just to say 'well, but that's just talk'. But this is Tumblr. No one's getting paid.
Essentially, we also need to get our facts straight. Jazwares isn't SPECIFICALLY hired by Royale high, they're SPECIFICALLY hired by Roblox. Either way, expecting a $50 USD doll, that doesn't even include shipping is in a way, ALSO controlled by Jazwares, It's part of Roblox TOS you need to work with Jazwares for any official merch/toys. It's predatory pricing as well.
Yes it's cheaper for us to buy the toy then buy the GOT set. But the GOT set was for CHARITY. They forget, not everyone is available to be price gouged like that either for what's not charity.
It's actually really disheartening to watch my childhood game fall like this. I do respect the community coming together, with this.
I'd say what's mainly wrong with this set, and why it pisses me off more than GOT, is because we had CONSISTENT updates. We are vying for a new diamond set, and Starlight is the only one that was released this year. It feels very much so like having carpet stolen from under us.
Btw, if I misspelled Jazwares, don't correct me. I have no respect for that company anyways.

Toy Island/Jazwares- Sonic the Hedgehog
Today we’re looking at a 1999 classic figure, for the release of Sonic Adventure for the Dreamca- wait. This was released for Sonic X? Alright, this is a alright 2003 release for the popular anime Soni-wait. This was released in 2008 for no real reason?! WELL, today we’re reviewing a figure that was released three, count ‘em 3 times, by different companies, for different tie-ins. Let’s critically look at a figure that was released in three eras, and decide if it stood the test of time.
Sonic suffers from 1990′s articulation. He’s got the typical 5 Points-of-movement, all being swivel joints. The Joyride Studios release a few years later had bendable arms and legs, which was a much smarter idea for Sonic’s noodle-style extremities. But this figure was tooled in 1998 and released in ‘99, back when the collector market was young and high expectations weren’t set. The 2003 release however pales in comparison to the higher-quality Joyride figure from 2001, but considering this was the cheaper option at the time, the lack of articulation is forgiven. But by 2008 Jazwares was putting out super-articulated Sonic figures, and this mold re-used for the third time was a terrible release compared to the rest of the line, and to other 2008 toylines. It was outdated and a poor fill-in.
Redeeming features include the nice Sonic Adventure sculpt and sturdy plastic. The shoes and arms particularly look cartoon-ish and polished, but the eyes are a bit dead looking. The plastic is also pretty tough, and this figure could withstand more than a few falls. Jazware’s other Sonic figures may have been super-articulated figures, but they snapped at any given moment. (I remember the leg of my older sibling’s Super Shadow snapping out of package.) and felt brittle.
From this angle it’s noticeable that the body is given a shiny finish that mimics the Dreamcast-era graphics. It’s vibrant and very accurate to the in-game model. The head however is cast in a very thick...I want to say vinyl? rubber? It’s hollow but very heavy and thick. I’m not sure why they went with this as it gets musty real quick and ruins the bright shiny paint. Why go to such effort to make the body look nice and go cheap on the head? Frankly it looks awful, almost like a bath toy head glued onto a statue.
Measuring 5 1/2″, Sonic is a hefty figure that towers over my other figures. This size was pretty common in the late 1990′s, and a few other lines that include large figures with limited articulation and clunky design include Starship Troopers by Galoob, and the figures for the original Mummy, which fittingly were made by Toy Island, the same company that crafted this fine masterpiece. If anything redeems our ‘99 Sonic, it’s the obvious dated design and look that does give it a few nostalgia points today. But those nostalgia points are immediately taken away if you bought this in 2008 expecting a quality Sonic figure.
The great SEGA, beaten by a mere Wendy’s Kid’s Meal toy
By all means this actually isn’t a bad figure for 1999. It represents the character well and is aimed at collectors who won’t need much articulation because they’re too busy playing Sonic games to play with Sonic toys. Fully articulated figures hadn’t become a standard yet. Toy Biz’s own line of Nintendo figures had the same low-level articulation and clunky sculpts, and this one is arguably better than any of Nintendo’s offerings because of it’s shiny finish. What kills this figure though is ultimately the test of time, and that it was embarrassingly re-released in the era of modern action figures.
Sonic, Sonic & Knuckles, but no Knuckles
Is this Sonic worth picking up in a time where the 1990′s are only coveted memories of playing Sonic R and enjoying it’s cheesey music and sloppy controls? If you want a Sonic figure that represents Dreamcast era Sonic, then this isn’t a bad choice. Jazware’s fully-pose-able figures are still miles better, but this one works for those looking for a shelf filler and don’t care about posing him into different displays. It fits well on a shelf with a Dreamcast or some Genesis cartridges due to his large noticeable size and doesn’t look too awful if you can get around the vinyl/rubber bath-toy head. However if you’re just looking for a nice Sonic figure of modern Sonic (that isn’t wearing that god-awful Knight armour or wearing the genie ring) do yourself a favor and check out Jazwares’ later offerings, as this is nothing more than a time capsule of what the standards of the toy industry used to be.

Chris Jericho’s beautiful view atop the wrestling world
Being the top guy has a specific meaning to Chris Jericho.
The pro wrestling legend is back at the summit of the business at age 49 as the first and only world champion in All Elite Wrestling history. Being the headliner and face of a major company for a significant period of time is a role Jericho has rarely had in his three-decade career. He never won the world title in WCW and only had a combined five WWE or World Heavyweight championship reigns in his nearly 20 years with Vince McMahon’s company.
Being a promotion’s standard-bearer, who carries the weight of helping it and the talent around him succeed, is a job he’s never been more ready for.
“Could I have done more in WCW in a headlining position? Would I have been good? I don’t know. In my mind I’d be great,” Jericho told The Post. “The first time I was put in a headlining position in WWF, I wasn’t ready, and in WCW, it was a couple years earlier. So maybe I wasn’t ready.
“And as the career goes forward, I can tell you the exact moment when I knew I had become a legit, headlining, main-event guy and the exact moment where I became the top guy, which was in New Japan Jan. 4, 2018 [versus Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom], which led to [me] being the top guy here in AEW.”
Now that he’s been “given the baton,” Jericho’s goal is to help elevate others in the company to legitimate main event players, giving them their piece of the spotlight.
youtube
In the more than 13 months since AEW launched, Jericho has had singles matches with Scorpio Sky, Jungle Boy, “Hangman” Adam Page, Darby Allin, Cody Rhodes and others. He cut a memorable promo with Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF), and has surrounded himself with Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara and Santana and Ortiz in his Inner Circle faction. He has been a big backstage supporter of Allin. Jericho described giving the hot upstarts the chance to beat the grizzled veteran heel as the “magic” that wrestling is about.
“We had a match a couple weeks ago where Isiah [Kassidy] from Private Party had such a great false finish, people thought Isiah was going to beat the champ,” said Jericho, the son of former New York Rangers winger Ted Irvine.
Most of the company’s younger talent had very little, if any, cable-TV time before appearing on “AEW Dynamite.” Now they get to share the ring live on TNT or on pay-per-view with one of wrestling’s most recognizable faces. Jericho said he wants to have a match with Orange Cassidy, a slow-moving comedy wrestler with a cult following, at some point, too.
“When you’re the top guy, you don’t hide and stop others from getting in there because then it just becomes stale and it dies,” said Jericho, who was at the New York Toy Fair, where AEW showed off its new action figures and ring sets from Wicked Cool Toys and Jazwares. The first series will be available this August.
“Your job as the top guy is to help everyone else up on top of the mountain so that there are 15 top guys and everybody is making money and everyone’s having a great time, people are enjoying the show and the product.”
AEW’s first series of action figuresAll Elite Wrestling
Wrestling legends are among those taking notice.
“Hulk Hogan called me a few months ago and said, ‘What you guys are doing is putting guys no one had ever heard of in a main-event spot and having them believe that they can beat you,’” Jericho recounted.
Jericho’s current rival is Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE. The two have a match for Jericho’s title set for AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view on Saturday. Jericho recruited Moxley to AEW knowing his talent level and understanding he was unhappy as he was transitioned into a comedy character in WWE. What Jericho didn’t expect was exactly what person and character would emerge in AEW. When Moxley debuted and attacked him and Omega at the “Double or Nothing” pay-per-view last May, Jericho saw someone who had “completely” changed.
“This is not the guy formally known as Dean Ambrose, this is a completely different person, a new character, performer,” Jericho said. “He’s totally different, not even the same guy. And that to me is another feather in our cap because it shows the creative freedom that you have in AEW that allows you to live and breathe and be what you know you can be.”
Moxley, also the name he used prior to joining WWE, is a violent, unpredictable badass babyface whose tendencies AEW announcer Jim Ross has compared to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s.
“I knew he’d be good,” Jericho said. “I didn’t expect him to just become this amazing. I say that with the utmost of respect. I don’t think anybody, including Mox, would have been able to predict that.”
Both Jericho and Moxley also recently wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where Moxley is the promotion’s United States champion. When Jericho was in Japan for Wrestle Kingdom in January, he beat legendary wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match that would have given his opponent an AEW title shot with a win.
It led to Jericho being outspoken about wanting the two companies to work together in the future given the financial opportunities that would come, especially given the history he, Rhodes, Omega, The Young Bucks and other AEW talent have with New Japan.
He is willing to help make that happen, but Jericho noted that “in other people’s opinion, we shouldn’t” work together before floating the idea of an AEW/New Japan invasion a year down the line.
“I think it would be beneficial relationship,” Jericho said. “Do I think we need New Japan? No. Do they need us? Well, if they want to work in the States, they may want to think about it.”
youtube
During that appearance in Japan for Wrestle Kingdom, the hashtag #fatjericho made its way onto social media along with pictures from the match that showed a heavier version of the Canadian star.
Jericho said the added weight was by design. He wanted to look more like the character portrayed by legendary wrestler Bruiser Brody, a pain-causing killer whom everyone feared. In Jericho’s experience, bigger-looking wrestlers are more respected in Japan. He likened it to Robert De Niro gaining weight to play the role of Jake LaMotta in “Raging Bull.” He has dropped some of that weight since coming back to AEW, posting workout videos to social media.
“When you see the online criticism, I love the idea of the fat Jericho because I can take my shirt off right now and I’ve got six f–king abs,” he said.
It’s all part of Jericho’s constant attempts to reinvent himself, creating new wrestling moments and catchphrases. Recently, the crowd at the episode of “Dynamite” taped aboard Jericho’s rock and wrestling cruise loudly serenaded him with his entrance song “Judas” by his band Fozzy — continuing to belt it out long after he first appeared. It’s continued at each show since.
“The next week, I went to the producer of the show, Keith Mitchell, and said, ‘Let’s pull the music down a little earlier,’ and I went to the announcers, Jim Ross, and said, ‘Don’t say anything,’” Jericho said. “When the music stops, let’s see what happens and let’s see if they continue to sing. We made it a thing.”
When it does, Jericho lets it happen, saying even as a heel, trying to tell the audience to shut up and don’t sing would spoil the vibe and organic nature of the moment.
“If they want to sing the lyrics to ‘Judas’ for an extra 30 seconds, that’s something that everyone’s talking about,” Jericho said. “People are going to go, ‘Wow, are you seeing this?’ It transcends good guy, bad guy. That [leads to] iconic moments in wrestling, which is what we strive for so much and when it happens organically, that’s a gift from the wrestling gods, so don’t mess with it.”
Chris JerichoAll Elite Wrestling
Jericho said the AEW talent is having fun backstage as well. In his opinion, there is no “snaky-snaky bulls–t” going on. The company continues to grow. “Dynamite” was renewed on TNT for three more years. A separate hour-long TV show is in the works, and AEW will run its first “Dynamite” in the Tri-State area on March 25 at Prudential Center in Newark.
“Dynamite” has consistently beaten WWE’s NXT show in the ratings each Wednesday and has had a headlock on the 18-49 demo. While not specifically correlating it with ratings, Jericho believes that AEW highlighting young stars such as MJF, Guevara, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt is helping to attract a younger audience because “we don’t send them to the developmental league or whatever for five years.”
It’s helping the company expand into action figures and potentially video games down the road. Jericho said he has had around 200 different action figures over his career. The AEW line, which will debut with Jericho, Cody, Brandi Rhodes, Omega and The Young Bucks, stands out to him not only because of the figures’ detailed looks, but the story around them. As the company’s top guy, he’s been one of the biggest driving forces behind all of it.
“We’ve only been on TV since October and these will be coming out in August, so it’s a quick turnaround and the reason why the turnaround is so quick is because the product is hot,” Jericho said. “That’s of great pride to me because obviously when I came to AEW, there was a lot riding on my shoulders to make sure it was a success.”
He’s never been more ready to ensure it.

Although Squishables is recognized for their plague doctor design, they are by no means the owner of the concept as a plush design, nor is the design of the Squishmallow plague doctor even remotely close to the Squishables design.
To prove my point, here's a crudely put together diagram of the ways in which these designs are different:
With all these changes in mind, even if Squishables were to take Kellytoy to court about this, there really wouldn't be anything worthwhile for the jury that would strike out as being a complete copy of the design because there are enough noticeable differences with both designs, some of which I even left out of my diagram because there's so many.
Inspired? Yes, definitely. Copied? No, not quite.
It'd almost be like saying that Build-a-Bear copied Jellycat because they both have a line of bunny designs. Jellycat is known for their bashful bunnies, but other plush manufacturers making bunny plushies as well doesn't mean that they're inherently copying Jellycat's line.
If B Toys is able to have their own line of soft bunny toys with patterned ears and short stubby legs with long arms and not be sued by Jellycat, for example, then Squishmallows is more than allowed to have their plague doctor design that is not at all reminiscent of the Squishables design.
This isn't even to defend Squishmallows either, I'm just saying that if you want to criticize Kellytoy (and, by association, Jazwares) for anything, then you should find other, stronger claims to criticize them for (like their Zionism) instead of just regurgitating "Inspiration equals stealing" rhetoric.
I'm sorry to say but bringing up the plague doctor argument as "proof" that Kellytoy stole a design idea from Squishables is weak and fundamentally stupid
