..the mountains have their own grace presence and an imposition unmatched by any other .. 

on sharing these with the family earlier today Jaya made a wonderful remark ..

love the mountains .. how firmly they stand with their chests out ..

there is an attraction when in the presence of these Goliaths of nature .. you either continue looking at them, or wish to climb them to conquer their majestic presence .. blessed are they that live under their constancy .. behold them in each morning gaze .. breathe in their silent dignified stately dominance .. and feel dwarfed in their striking statuesque glory ..

it is a strange phenomena .. when by them, they feel in distance to be reached out and touched .. yet as the endeavour is pursued the realisation of their many miles to go before one can call themselves to be in their presence ..

Babuji wrote such a poignant poem about them on his very first encounter .. at times in awe of their status and being .. at times inviting them to mix with the dust of the earth by relieving them of their loftiness, to feel the ground on which they stand and perch .. to feel the earth, in its humility ..

some day it shall find relevant place on the Blog, or perhaps in another realm ..

.. the rarity of the air in all its purity is sublime in filling the lungs with the much need divorce from environmental pollution .. but as the range increases so does the need for that additional and most essential oxygen to keep you going .. heights have different effects on different people .. and there is not an inkling of a metaphorical reference !!😄
