Random thoughts about Ninjago DR S2 part 2 (first three episodes)

THE ADMINISTRATION! AGENT WALKER MENTION! Ugh, but if only Arin and Sora had mentioned him in front of the others!

The two of them acted more like actual ninjas in that first minute sneaking around than I think any of the OG ninja have done in 17 seasons lol.

For some reason that "dispel the vapor!" joke made me laugh hard.

Lloyd in the opening using rising dragon technique instead of Kai is both cool and sad at the same time🥲

Not really digging Wyldfyre's new hair style.

Kinda weird how Cole is nowhere to be seen in the first episode and only Zane is shown to have been training with the dragon masters.

Also his kids completely disappeared?? They weren't with Geo either, where'd they go???

Aww Lloyd... just, Lloyd. I love you baby boy.

Nya was going full aunt on Wyldfyre and I'm HERE for it!

KAI SIGHTING!!! Yes I am going to freak out every time they show Kai. Also have he and Bonzle eaten anything since they were sent to the back rooms?? How long has it been anyway?

Hmm, so, Roby... not a fan of this character so far. I mean he's funny but I'm really not big on the whole influencer personality he has going on. At least he doesn't seem to be a jerk (except to his uncle lol)

Oh and he's gonna be the boyfriend/love interest of Wyldfyre the writers talked about huh? (Way to make that obvious.) That's... odd. Too early to judge the ship of course but it's a little strange to see Wyfy swooning over this type of guy (much less that she would swoon over anyone really).

NEW Master of Shade??? WHAT! What about, you know, Shade? He was cool! He was part of the resistance! Lego stop replacing the old characters for no reason!!

And of all the EM's to keep and bring back, you kept invisible man guy? Um excuse me, what about Karloff and Neuro? IF YOU REPLACE THEM I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!

Speaking of, where the FRICK is Skylor???? Like if you don't want her on the show (YET) at least give her a mention or something?? Or explain why she's not there? Seriously, wouldn't the ninja at least wonder if they might run into her?

Or JAY FOR THAT MATTER??? Ugh it bugs me so much that aside from Nya asking Lloyd about Jay in season 1, none of the OG ninja ever ask or wonder about the ones who were missing, or ever make it an objective of theirs to find each other.

Oh, Beatrix's twin sister showed up, that's neat and unexpected! (I forgot she had an elemental power tbh.) Already like her way more than Beatrix.

Seriously, these elemental powers are really becoming like quirks or devil fruits now (@ MHA and One Piece fans). I wonder if Arin's "quake" friend will have any significance moving forward.

Him fanboying over Cole and Nya was cute though.

I know nothing has really happened yet, but SHEESH Cole and Zane feel like they're just THERE. These characters used to have more of a presence even when they didn't have something to do. Honestly I think the cast has just gotten too big for the writers to know what to do with, which is why they keep putting at least one or two of them (usually Zane *grumbles*) in timeout.

Dang, what's happening with Jordana is messed up.

Ngl I'm glad snail guy got kicked out, was never a fan of him.

Definitely intrigued by weird horned geckle hybrid guy (didn't catch his species name).

I'm a big fan of Marvel too. I enjoy spontaneous as well as lazy activities equally. I love to explore new places and try new things. Also HANDWRITTEN LETTERS are just 💖💖💖

Dislikes- Bullies, people who try to boss me around, people who look down on me, too tight clothes, also the clothes that show too much skin, also I don't like raw tomatoes

Hobbies: I love astronomy and stargazing and I even have my own telescope :D I enjoy taking part in competitions like debate (yes I don't get stage fright) or anything involving me speaking on-stage. I enjoy detective games too and I'm pretty good at solving them. I love to read too

Ideal partner: Honestly I don't have a specific type but as long as my partner is loving and supportive I'm happy. While I have a really happy go lucky personality, and often I can be the perceived as a headstrong girl , I often feel like I'm not enough, so some reassurance would be nice. - toge may not be able to talk very much because of his cursed speech, but his actions are enough to show how much he loves you

- he is very observant due to not being able to talk a lot, so he immediately will know when something is wrong with you and will make sure to give you a lot of cuddles while you cry

- toge is definitely one to put sticky notes everywhere and at first they are simple like “have a good day :)” or “make sure to eat today!” but it slowly started to get longer and longer message to the point where he had to stop using sticky notes and wrote on actual lined paper and then taping it to places

Hello! I’m Luna, and I run the @aurumignis blog. I mainly write about BTS, although I’ve begun spreading out into other fandoms. I’m actually a pretty new writer on here, though. I also write about a lot of other things, such as DC or Marvel, as I am a part of multiple fandoms. I’m open to most things, but some that I don’t know that well may be slightly out of character. My Flash!Izuku fanfiction idea.

So welcome to another post where I talk about my fanfiction ideas. Actually this one is already being written.

Background

Izuku’s origing will be similar to Barry Allen’s. But instead both of his parents died were killed when he was 8 years old, killed by something in green and yellow electricity. All he saw was a man in a black suit.

He’ll be adopted by the Bakugou’s much to Katsuki’s chagrin. During the years he live with them, Katsuki will bully Izuku relentlessly without his parents knowing.

Sure Mitsuki and Masaru treat Izuku good but he doesn’t see them as parents. More like aunt and uncle.

He’ll be very close to Detective Naomasa, the detective assigned to his parents case. For years he’ll visit the police station to listen for anything new or to offer his theories on the killer. Izuku will see Naomasa as some sort of father figure.

When he is 14 he would volunteer to clean up the science lab and while arranging chemicals back on their shelves, lightning struck.

The Lightning

I read the comics and watch the CW show and I must say I kinda prefer the idea of a Particle Accelerator detonating that releases dark matter and awakened the Speed Force.

But instead of a Particle Accelerator, someone will be sued instead. The Rival kidnapped someone who had an Energy Manipulation Quirk and mutated it causing the person to be able to generate dark matter. Then he will force him to release the dark matter in an explosion, killing him and setting off a small earthquake that injured hundreds and killed dozens.

Reverse-Flash

Izuku’s RF will be called the Rival, named after Jay Garrick’s RF. He’ll be a mix of every RF, having the name of the Rival, background of Eobard Thawne and his intentions is that of Hunter Zolomon’s (comic version). Personality wise I’m aiming at something similar to Godspeed’s.

As for his secret identity, I’m not spoiling it, but I will say that he is a canon character. Don’t worry his identity will be revealed after a few chapters.

U.A and vigilantism

I’m not making Izuku go to U.A’s Hero Course. Instead I’ll make him a vigilante, the reason for that is that I feel it will be original and I want to try something new. He will still attend U.A just in the General Studies.

As for why he decided to become a vigilante, mostly because it was the circumstances and manipulation from the Rival that forced him to become a vigilante.

Rogues

Of course I’m adding the Rogues, their the Flash’s A-list villains. However they will not be their comic version, instead I’m using my own versions as I think that it I’ll be unrealistic if I decide to throw their comic version into the MHA universe.

Additions for the Rogues will include Captain Cold, Heatwave, Weather Wizard, Rainbow Raider, Captain Boomerang and Mirror Master. All of them will be convince to join up by the Rival.

League of Villains

Still exist although I won’t focus much on them. Rival teams up with them for AFO’s connections and funds. In exchange he’ll do stuff like improve their Nomu’s and etc.

Power levels of Izuku

I’m making Izuku start of as a novice and gets his ass handed to him a few times hit eventually he’ll become more skilled and experience. He’ll also use his head more than his speed, applying science to help defeat villains.

Speed Force

As much as I love CW’s Flash (except Season 5, the worst in my opinion) I’m not really a fan of the Spped Force they show. So I’ll be using the comics and basing off the Speed Force there.

Other Speedsters

Still thinking on who to make Speedsters. Tenya is an obvious candidate and I’m thinking of adding Knuckleduster (MHA: Vigilante) since he had a Speedster-like Quirk before it got stolen.

I’ll probably explain it as an incomplete connection to the SF which explains him being unable to run longer than 4 seconds but after the dark matter explosion he’ll get a full connection. He’ll be like a mentor to Izuku or something as I’m still u sure whether or not to add him.

Other DC characters

I’m planning on introducing various DC characters but it’ll amount to characters using the names and powers of the DC counterparts. They will not be copy-and-pasted straight from comics that I promise.

Romance

IzuOcha obviously. I’m a huge fan of that ship. I’m planning for it to happen after the first arc. Maybe I’ll add a brief fling between Izuku and Melissa.

Izuku’s personality

Izuku’s personality will be slightly altered in the story. That’s because I think having your parents killed in front of you and living with your childhood bully can mess you up. As such, although he retains most of his canon characteristics, he’ll be prone to getting mad.

Also unlike canon Izuku will very much dislike Katsuki.
