The WORST movie I have ever seen
review/other random stuff
'spoilers' under cut!!
Ive seen this movie around, and i decided: fuck it, why not...which was a horrible...horrible decision.
the first thing youll notice is the HORRIBLE. animation. it is beyond ugly. the best way I can explain it is old shitty newgrounds animations.
The jokes are SO BAD. its basicly all just shock humor, and just a shit ton of sex jokes. its so bad. its constant. constant sex jokes. also jay gets R@PED?? FOR LIKE NO REASON???WHY?
also there is just so..so many fart jokes. its bad. theres also jokes that just..do not make sense and are not funny at all.
theres a lot of really weird audio clips and stuff they use. at one point dante speaks, and i garentee they just recorded it from clerks. it sounds so out of place.
ALSO THEY MENTION BRONIES??? WHAT?? they also say that tara strong voices 2 of the characters, but they sound NOTHING. like her, rather it just sounds like a horrible impersonator.
on the topic of people in the movie, RAY WILLIAM JOHNSON IS IN THE MOVIE. WHY??? I DONT KNOW.
also. i never think this has been said before but: there is WAY to many scenes where the characters are just..m@sturbating..???
also one of the villans is killed by walking into a gay bar??
theres a strange amount of just racist jokes in this?
JAY JUST BRUTALLY MURDERS A GUY?
JAY IS ALSO JUST..HELD AT GUN POINT?? AS HE CRIES?? (jay can NOT catch a break a swear to god)
I honestly have no idea how this dumpsterfire of a film got made. its not so bad its good-its just bad. this film made me have to pause it and just sit and question why. why the hell was i watching this.
i have very limited things I enjoyed about this movie, but there are a few:
the facial expressions the characters made at some points were really dumb and funny
there were also some just WILD quotes from this movie, that i WISH i could put on here but i am conviced this post will be taken down
my overall rating of this movie 1/10
thanks for reading my review, full of horrible spelling mistakes, and grammer! i dont normally do stuff like this but this movie pissed me off.
Anyways, some funny screenshots i took:

POLL: SMG vs Eliza Dushku - "Kevin Smith" edition
(Per wikipedia the ViewAskewniverse covers: the Clerks movies, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and the Jay and Silent Bob movies.)
Answer below!
SMG vs Eliza polls: part 3 / ?
A: It's another trick question! The answer is both of them! (so secret third option)
SMG was in Clerks 3 (2022) in a small cameo. Her character is auditioning for a part in the movie within the movie. (Mr. SMG - aka Freddie Prinze Jr - also does a cameo where he auditions.)
(Sidenote: SMG also voiced the main character Teela in a Masters of the Universe animated series (2021) by Kevin Smith, but that's not part of the View Askewniverse.)
Eliza was in 2 Kevin Smith movies. She played Missy in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001). And she voiced the "Lipstick Lesbian" in the animated movie Jay and Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie (2013).

Stoner comedy pairs have been such a key culture stone since their conception. They come in so many forms and varieties. But all are not created equal. Take, for instance, one of my favorites Jay and Silent Bob. (of Clerks (1994) fame, as well as having their own movies Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) and Jay and Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie (2013)) Now, Jay and Silent Bob are one of my favorites. They hold a very special place in my heart. They are, however, a B Tier Stoner Comedy Duo.

What the heck is jay and silent bob? Are they like fictional clowns?? Or some like 90’s adult cartoon?
Tumblr media
this is jay and silent bob (jay is blonde, silent bob is not) and they're like gay beavis and butthead. they're a staple in director kevin smith's View Askewniverse and they're genuinely just awful. i love them incredibly dearly. i would not recommend any view askewniverse movies starring them (jay and silent bob strike back, jay and silent bob reboot) to people who are uncomfortable with the worst things that teenagers say about women. i don't mean that in the "they're creepy" way, i just mean it in a "they will not shut up about dicks, balls, boobs, and other sundry body parts". or, well, jay won't shut up about them. silent bob is mostly silent.
they're also both canonically queer which. diversity loss? but it's not just word-of-gd either: chris rock playing rufus the 13th apostle straight up says jay's attracted to guys, most likely including silent bob, who is his "hetero life mate" (i can't make this shit up).
profession wise, jay is a weed dealer and general nuisance, and silent bob is the one who (i like to think) has the health insurance out of the two of them. they're my horrible little scrunklies. never watch a view askew movie.
however if you want to, i'd HEAVILY recommend the does the dog die page for any VA movie you want to watch. there's a lot of extremely crude humor, and a lot hasn't aged super well.
technically the order is mallrats > clerks > clerks: the lost scene (comic) > the flying car (short, on youtube) > clerks (comics) > chasing amy > chasing dogma (comic) > dogma > clerks: the animated series > jay and silent bob strike back > bluntman and chronic (comic) > where's the beef? (comic) > clerks II > jay and silent bob reboot, since every single publication in the View Askewniverse is interconnected (which means that Jay and Silent Bob have pretended to be a gay couple with a son to escape a diner with a kidnapped laboratory escapee orangutan in Utah...twice!) but really the only ones you need to see are mallrats, clerks, dogma, and clerks II.
there's also the jay and silent bob super groovy cartoon movie, but we don't talk about that.
again, i can't stress enough that you REALLY need to does the dog die these before jumping in. the humor isn't for everybody, and it gets pretty damn gross at times. my personal favorite movie ever is dogma, which is the one i started with, but again, you can really just watch mallrats > clerks > dogma > clerks II and be fine.
as you can probably tell, this is a special interest of mine, so thanks a ton for asking GKDSKDS

Funko Plans to Launch Jay and Silent Bob NFT Collection via the Digital Collectibles Platform Droppp
Tumblr media
Three months ago, Funko Inc., disclosed that it was entering the non-fungible token (NFT) industry when it announced it acquired a majority ownership stake in the NFT startup Tokenwave. At the time, Funko’s CEO Brian Mariotti explained that “Funko Pop digital NFTs” have the potential to be a “game-changer.” On Friday, Funko announced the company is launching a new NFT collection featuring Jay and Silent Bob from the filmmaker Kevin Smith’s Clerks films.
Funko to Introduce Jay and Silent Bob Non-Fungible Tokens and Corresponding Physical Versions
The cult classic characters from the Clerks movies, Jay and Silent Bob, will be showcased in a new non-fungible token (NFT) collection released by the publicly-listed pop-culture consumer products firm Funko (Nasdaq: FNKO). Jay and Silent Bob are best known for appearing in the Clerks films, but they also appear in all of Kevin Smith’s Askewniverse movies. The duo also star in their own films “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Jay & Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie,” and “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.” Funko announced the Jay and Silent Bob NFT collection on Friday via Twitter and Facebook and noted that the collection will drop on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. “Jay and Silent Bob x Funko Series 1 Digital Pop! coming soon to Droppp,” Funko tweeted. The website digital.funko.com gives a bit more information on the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob NFT compilation. According to the site, Funko is releasing Jay and Silent Bob digital collectibles, but also physical versions of the Jay and Silent Bob Funko Pop characters will be created as well.
Funko’s Digital Pop NFTs Join Dozens of Well Known Brands Issuing Digital Collectible Products
Prior to announcing the Jay and Silent Bob NFTs, Funko has teamed up with well known brands like DC Comics and Warner Bros. Funko Digital Pop non-fungible tokens are similar to the products Funko sells in stores as they feature Funko’s distinctive style. The Funko Digital Pop Jay and Silent Bob NFTs will be made available via the NFT platform Droppp. While the NFTs will stem from the Droppp platform, Funko digital collectibles are issued on the Wax blockchain network. In addition to the NFTs, Funko will be showcasing “an immersive, fan-focused community experience” at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) from July 21 to July 24, 2022. Funko’s new blockchain-based digital products join a slew of well known brands that have entered the NFT and metaverse industry during the last few years. Brands that have participated in the NFT space so far include Topps, Adidas, Arizona Iced Tea, Gannett, McDonald’s, Budweiser, Fanatics, WWE, Bicycle, Warner Bros., Pepsi, Nike, Coca-Cola, Rolling Stone, DeLorean Motor Company (DMC), and Marvel. Despite the brand recognition and celebrities entering the fray, NFT sales are down 49% this month lower than the 30 days prior, according to cryptoslam.io statistics on July 15. What do you think about Funko introducing Jay and Silent Bob NFTs? Let us know what you think about this subject in the comments section below. Read the full article
