Lady Nesrin /ˈnɛs.rɪn/ Parovus /pæˈroʊvəs/
Meet Nesrin, the enigmatic jewel of courtly intrigue in the Eight Kingdoms. Behind her charming smile and the gentle melodies of her harp, lies a shrewd strategist, always three moves ahead in the intricate game of court politics.
For her face claim it's a mix between Emma Watson, Lilly Collins and maybe Anya-Taylor-Joy, now for the voice I would say Jessica Brown Findlay (the voice of Lenore in Castlevania)
Main Family Dynamics:
Duke Javaid's Expectations (Father):
Duke Javaid, the family patriarch, holds a firm grip on family affairs and expects unwavering obedience and service from his children. While supportive, his expectations also create a stifling atmosphere, especially for Nesrin who navigates the delicate balance between duty and love.
Duchess Sarnei's Priorities (Mother):
Duchess Sarnei is focused on maintaining her beauty and status within the court. She holds a keen interest in fashion and gossip, involving herself in the intricacies of courtly life, which influences Nesrin's awareness of social dynamics.
Seline's Scandal:
Seline, Nesrin's elder sister, is away from court due to a scandal that stained the family's reputation. Unmarried and seemingly without prospects, Seline secretly has a child from a forbidden affair with a commoner, straining her relationship with Nesrin.
Gennaddy's Charisma:
Gennady, Nesrin's younger brother, is a charming and courteous knight who enjoys the attention of many ladies. Confident in the family's status, revels in the admiration he receives, supporting and challenging Nesrin's approach to courtly life.
Some details about her:
Memorable Quote: "I learned at a young age that sometimes, the most effective way to get what you want is to let others think it was their idea."
She indulges in the guilty pleasure of reading romance novels but dismisses them as frivolous in public.
Occasionally orchestrates situations where she allows herself to be seemingly manipulated, only to unveil a grander scheme.
Her skill with the harp is as enchanting as her political manoeuvrers, her melodies weaving tales of beauty and intrigue that captivate those who have the privilege of listening.
She thrives on challenges, evident in her deliberate attempts to out-dress Odette, turning every encounter into a subtle competition.
keeps a dried flower pressed between the pages of her favourite book, a memento from the first bouquet someone dear to her gave her.
Her Silkshroud Feline (Persian cat), Aziza, is her loyal companion during strolls through the family gardens. Aziza wears small jewelled collars that match Nesrin's accessories.
Practices the harp at night, finding inspiration in the quiet hours. The haunting melodies she creates in the moonlit solitude serve as a therapeutic release for her inner conflicts.
Her sister scandal casts a shadow over Nesrin's life, serving as a cautionary tale that influences her choices and adds pressure to maintain the family's reputation.
Feels a deep sense of betrayal, she had confided in Odette about her dreams and ambitions, Odette's swift action feels like a calculated move to steal Nesrin's opportunities and thwart her plans.
Nesrin battles intense feelings of jealousy and resentment towards Odette, especially as she perceives her former friend not only as a rival but as someone who callously took advantage of her vulnerable confession.

Hello Heidi!
First of all, congrats! Chaos Theory s1 was such a blast, you guys did a terrific job! Also, thank you for all the fanarts 😏
I have a silly question about Big B’s conspirancy board: in ep 5 it’s stated that, among the Nublar 6, Sammy was the only camper that Ben considered as a potential suspect, but there is no pic of her, just a sticky note. There is a pic of Brooklynn (for obvious reasons) in the upper right corner, but… why is there a pic of Yaz in the lower right corner of the board?
Also, I noticed a cute Bumpy drawing in front of the board. Did Ben do it? Because he was terrible at drawing in s1…
Thanks in advance :3
Thanks, we're so glad you enjoyed the show!! (And the fanart haha).
That incredible set was designed by Mikael Javaid-Camua, and while I don't personally know the reasoning behind what was chosen for the board, I'm sure a lot of it was designed to be intentionally vague (we did still have quite a tight TV budget) while still reading visually as something larger since it's only on screen for a few moments. A lot of environmental storytelling details like this are included in shows/movies in general to imply there's more to the world beyond the show for the viewer to imagine/put together themselves.
Maybe Ben just missed his bestie, maybe he had just marked down that Brooklynn visited her at a certain time... who knows?
And I assumed so-- not sure who else would have drawn it haha. Maybe Yaz gave him some tips since camp.

Displaced people targeted: At least six killed in Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza
youtube
Israel has carried out new air strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in the north. It follows an overnight strike that killed at least six people in a house sheltering displaced Palestinians. In early February, Israeli forces withdrew from northern Gaza saying it had destroyed Hamas battalions there. But its forces have re-entered the area and resumed their attacks. Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid reports.

Why This Misunderstood Neighbourhood 9000 Miles From Brazil Has Its Biggest Superfans
“They’re our brothers. They look just like us. They dance just like us, they call it Samba, we call it Lewa.”
There was no place to move in the sea of green and yellow. By the time the game started, the football stadium sandwiched in this densely-populated neighbourhood was packed.
Lyari is 9,000 miles away from Brazil, but this neighbourhood of 2-3 million people in Pakistan’s largest city Karachi is home to some of its biggest superfans.
With Brazil football shirts on their back or Brazil flags as capes, everyone’s eyes were glued to a public screen showing a do-or-die quarter final FIFA World Cup match between Brazil and Croatia. Some sat on the roofs of police vans surrounding the crowd; gang violence has been down in this neighbourhood for years, but a police presence is constant.
Each time Brazil scored, music blared and the crowd went wild.
“All day I think about Brazil. I eat, sleep and breathe only Brazil. If Brazil is eliminated, my World Cup is over,” Javaid Carlos, told VICE World News, swinging his hips as he performed the traditional Baloch dance of Lewa on top of a police van. Carlos used to have the last name Ibrahim, but renamed himself after legendary Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos.
“They’re our brothers. They look just like us. They dance just like us. They call it Samba, we call it Lewa.”
In Pakistan, Lyari is often called “Mini Brazil,” because of its obsession and love for the Brazilian national football team. During the World Cup, images of Pakistan’s “Mini Brazil” have gone viral; A live telecast of fans celebrating in Lyari even made it to Globo Television, Latin America’s largest television network. Brazilian audiences were transfixed, fascinated and confused. Online comments ranged from, “We love this, but we don’t understand. Why?” and “How? We’re so far away.”
But distance aside, there are commonalities between the two disparate cultures.

Personalization Is Still A Challenge For CX Leaders In 2024
The challenge of personalization resonates across various industries. Iqbal Javaid, Head of CX Solution Engineering at Zoom, articulates this challenge succinctly:
“My biggest challenge is ensuring our solution remains not just relevant, but indispensable to our customers. With the landscape of customer expectations evolving rapidly, staying ahead means constantly innovating to meet their needs while maintaining seamless integration with their existing systems. It’s about striking that delicate balance between anticipating future demands and delivering value that drives business growth and customer retention.”
This sentiment reflects the ongoing struggle many companies face in keeping pace with rapidly changing customer expectations while also maintaining operational efficiency.
Leverage technology to address personalization challenges and achieve CX excellence
In this demanding landscape, many organizations are turning to technologies like CCaaS. These platforms can help address personalization challenges by providing integrated tools for data analysis, customer interaction management, and personalized communication across multiple channels.
The features enabled by CCaaS such as customer data centralization, automated personalization, consistent omnichannel communications, scalability, and advanced analytics make it an effective vehicle in the pursuit of CX personalization. As businesses continue to navigate the complexities of personalization in 2024, considering CCaaS migration could be a strategic move. These technologies offer the tools and capabilities needed to meet rising customer expectations for personalized experiences while managing resource constraints.

Will Iran Ever Be Held Accountable for its 36-Year-Old Genocide?
By: Ivan Sacha Sheehan In the summer of 1988, the Iranian regime committed genocide. That is one of the key takeaways from the final report issued by Javaid Rehman, the UN special rapporteur for the situation of human rights in Iran, who concludes his mandate this month before passing the baton to Japanese lawyer Mai Sato. Rehman’s report focused in part on the 1988 massacre of political…
