jasonette but like siblings but like angst- like that whole trope where they are blood related and got separated, or they didnt get separated idk thats cool too i just want some sibling jasonette😅
Wow. ok. uhmmmm. this is a lot i think?? I got a little jk a lot carried away and this past week was super busy so i’ll finish the second part later??
Again... a lot...
Jason is walking home after another night at the bar when he sees a small woman, teenager? Slip into a dark alleyway and two men follow in after her a few moments later.
Jason curses and bolts across the street, what was this girl thinking? How stupid do you have to be to go into a dark alley where no one will hear you or care to help?
He jumps into the alley to find one man already slumped on himself on the floor and the other getting kicked in the teeth by army boots then falling limply.
Jason curses again, impressed this time. He scans over the men noting that they probably had pretty good concussions judging from the dent in the garbage can the first man was laying next to and the way the second guy’s head smacked onto the concrete when he fell. He lands his eyes back on the woman, no, definitely a teenager, with a smile on his face that instantly falters. The girl is in a fighting stance and waiting for him to attack so he quickly raises his hands to placate her.
“I’m not here to fight you, I saw you get followed and I was coming to help.”
“Nobody helps in Gotham,” she states, a dangerous edge to her voice that held a carefully hidden accent.
“Not from around here, are you?”
The girl narrows her eyes, “I was born and raised here, take a step further and you won’t be waking up tomorrow.”
Jason pockets his hands and smirks. He likes her, she’s a fighter, she reminds him of himself when he was younger.
“Ok. Just make sure you make it home safe. A girl’s going to get some unwanted attention at a time and place like this.” He turns around and crosses the street but as soon as he’s out of her sight he turns back and hides in the shadows to track her and make sure no one else tries to catch her alone. Just because she could handle herself the first time doesn’t mean she’s necessarily safe from the next attempt.
The girl exits the alley and starts toward the direction of Jason’s apartment calmly as if she didn’t just get attacked. At least that means less walking for him. After a few minutes she slips into another dark alley, of course she does, and Jason crosses the street again going into his own empty alley before pulling his helmet on and scaling the building. As he peers over the side of the building his helmet scans the area giving him feedback he would normally miss due to the horrible lighting and telling him that the alley was empty. He figured she had somehow gotten into one of the buildings and decided to go home by rooftops since he was already up there.
However, as he landed on the opposite rooftop his feet slipped from underneath him. Jason managed to roll out of it but before he could get his footing his hip was kicked into and he stumbled, tripped over a seemingly perfectly placed rock and smashed his head on the side of the stair house. Then, just as quickly as this all transpired, there was a body behind him, they hooked their fingers under his helmet and lifted it to expose his neck and press a knife with jagged points onto his neck. How did he know the knife had jagged points? Good question, it was, as previously mentioned, against his neck and piercing into his skin, drawing blood.
“Why are you following me?” a girl’s voice filters through his mask and he resisted the urge to roll his eyes. His mask let him know through the constant visuals that the voice belonged to a female in their late teens, not that he didn’t already know that.
“Making sure you got home safe,” he says carefully, weighing his options and trying to decide if he should let her feel like she got him or escape with a slight nick on his neck.
Eh. Jason preferred to not have a bleeding neck no matter how small the cut.
“Lies,” she hisses, digging the knife a bit deeper as a warning, maybe getting out sooner was a better idea. “What do you want?”
“Knife off my throat first,” he manages without pushing his neck further onto the blade.
A second later the girl releases him and jumps back with enough space between them to react if he ended up deciding to attack her.
Jason gives her a quick glance as he stands up, a hand to his throat to check for blood.
“I wasn’t lying-”
“You’re not fooling anyone you Red Hood wannabe,” she snaps. Jason just laughs in surprise, no one has ever accused him of being a Red Hood wannabe. He's the one who made the mantle into something to respect, something to fear. He stops laughing and levels a glare at the girl, his helmet telling him unhelpfully there was no match of facial recognition in any database.
“I am Red Hood-” he started to growl out but she cut him off again. The audacity.
“Red Hood wouldn’t have been caught by the person he was trailing, Red Hood wouldn’t have been caught off guard, Red Hood doesn’t have a stupid streak of white hair on his head. He may have been a theatre nerd but he wouldn’t do that.”
Wait what.
“What are you talking about?” But it was more of a demand than a question.
“You’re not…” she trailed off waving her hand in the air trying to find a word, “slick. Same jacket, same shoes, same build, yeah. You’re not fooling anyone.”
“Ok. Whatever, I’m going home.” He turns and starts jogging across the rooftop towards home. So much for helping out.
“Where is he?” she calls out after him.
“Right here, princess,” he spat before jumping to the other rooftop.
But as soon as his feet leave the building a big dark blue warbly hole appears and swallows him before he can react. Unfortunately for him the other side of that weird black hole was a face full of concrete.
“Prove you’re him.”
Oh this girl was something else. Jason shakes his disorientation away, he didn’t know how she did that, nor did he care but he was pissed. He swings his foot around and connects with her ankle, she falls as expected but easily bounces right back up and hops out of his range.
“Do that again and I’ll have to break my no killing kids rule,” he growls out, staring her down for a moment. Her face was finally lit by the dim yellow street lamps and he could see the entirety of her face and all the raw emotions she was trying to hide. For a split second familiarity passed through him, like when you see someone at the library then at the store a few weeks later or you see an old school friend ten years later and can’t quite place them. Jason dismisses the feeling and turns to go.
“Wait.” She says it so vulnerably that Jason gives her a chance, when he turns she pulls up her sleeve and shows off her forearm.
In the center of her arm is a faded black tattoo that was a writing symbol, but because of its name and one of its uses it was used to brand child soldiers in Gotham from a particular gang that Red Hood obliterated as soon as his first order of business in Gotham.
It was the double dagger, or better known in Gotham as the death dagger. The children were expendable although highly trained and dangerous, they could give Damian a run for his money in the child assassin department. The tattoo was a reminder to the children and to the people they came across that they were soulless, emotionless, their lives and actions were not their own and they would give their lives willingly for the mission
Meaning who they were before was dead. No family, no connections, no one would notice if they went missing and no one would be able to identify their bodies if and when the time came. Sometimes poor families would sell one of their children and promise to forget them and to never contact them.
Jason was led to assume that this was another child soldier looking to thank him, or kill him. It was 50/50 these days, some of those kids just never recovered.
“So what is it that you want? You want my autograph across your head?” Jason asks dryly.
The girl just huffs and pulls her sleeve back down.
“I want to know if my brother is underneath that mask.”
I want to know if my brother is underneath that mask.
The words struck Jason deep in his chest but it only fueled his anger. He didn’t know why that hit so deep but he was not in the mood for this nor would he be at any time.
“Just because I ended that gang doesn’t mean we’re family. Go find your other assassin siblings to play house with.”
“Annette,” she calls after as he turns his back again. A strike of familiarity pulses through him and when he hesitates she continues, “that was my name before I was initiated. I was one of the first. Daddy’s little girl,” she was still talking louder than necessary since he hadn’t turned back around. “I’m the only one left from The 13.”
Right. The 13. That’s what everyone called the first batch even as they were killed off, they were the most ruthless being the oldest and were also the most aggressive in proving their worth. It was common to find a number from 1-13 placed strategically behind at the crime scene, whoever had the most successful missions would be highly rewarded, or so he was told.
“Do you remember?”
“I remember destroying that gang and their stupid leader and having to kill some of your little friends and I also remember The 13 died within the first year and a half and were easily replaced by their younger friends.”
“Do you remember me?”
“Look, kid,” he finally turns to look at her, “I don’t care, ok? Yay whoopdeedoo I saved you, get in line. It’s what I do, kill bad people and let the rest walk away. You’re not special.”
“Annette Marie Todd,” she says hurriedly, like it’s a last resort. “Jason Peter Todd,” she continues, “just you. Me. And a blitzed out Mom.”
Jason did not like this, he knew the Dagger Children were ruthless and expert manipulators but this was pushing it. He spun around to face her, ripping off his helmet, she already knew what he looked like and it was in the way of his death glare.
“You don’t know who you are messing with. If you really were a Dagger you’d know that I am not one to be fucked with.” He slides his helmet back on and without a backward glance he runs off to the next roof and continues home. Thankfully not another portal thing opens up in front of him.
———————————
Jason didn’t have a sister. He did not have a sister. He would remember having a sister. He would remember having a Dagger for a sister. But Annette was such a familiar name. And she had said her name was Annette Marie Todd. Todd.
No that’s stupid. Impossible. She was just messing with him, for all he knew she could have been subtly showing her face in random places for him to react to the familiarity of her face and she could have said the name sometime in the last few months for him to vaguely recognize the sound of her name but not place it.
But the Lazarus pit did alter his memories from childhood, it was like looking through a fog of red anger, or maybe it was always like that even before the pit, and it also completely wiped out other parts of his memory. But a sister? No. No way.
Hours of this, circling around the possibilities and shifting around on his bed trying to get comfortable until he finally drifted off in a very restless sleep.
Jason found himself in a familiar apartment, the one he lived in before his “mother” died. He looked around and it was more of the feeling of familiarity that convinced him where he was than anything else. He steps aside for a younger version of himself to run by him and turns to the window that led out to the fire escape and watches him climb out of it and close the window. Jason turns back around to see what Young Jason was hiding from. A man hands a thick envelope to his mother, Catherine Todd who had wrapped herself in a thin silk robe, her bony frame visible as well as her happy focus on the money inside that envelope. Jason couldn’t make out the man’s face but he turned around and grabbed the small hand of a little girl in pigtails. She turned her head and faced the window sending a smile but he couldn’t quite make out her face so he instead turned to himself sitting outside.
As he turned his surroundings changed but in his dreamstate he paid no mind to it. This time he was standing in an aisle of a store as a child. He looked around and found his mother dressed embarrassingly in a thin tank top and ragged jeans and flip flops. He feels a squeeze of his hand and looks down, his little sister is looking up at him and pointing to a rack of stuffed animals of Clifford the Big Red Dog that were suddenly there. He sends her a smile and looks up, intent on catching up with his mother and asking her to buy one but as he chases her his intent slips from his mind and instead he wants to taste the cupcakes he just saw. He opens a case and takes a bite but yelling makes him turn around and there is Batman towering over him. Instead of a tasty cupcake he is holding something thick and metal, a crowbar. He throws it at the man and turns to run away and jumps out of the parking garage and jumps into the air flying up. But he’s too slow, he tries kicking and swimming in the air to propel himself further away from Batman but a hand wraps around his foot.
Jason jerks awake, breathing heavy and feeling uncomfortably hot. This was much more mild than his usual nightmares, if it could even be called a nightmare, but it was bad in a different way. It wasn’t unusual for Jason to be getting chased in his dreams by one thing or another and it always ended before whatever or whoever was chasing him got him but it was getting a little old honestly.
His head was pounding so he slipped out of bed and poured himself a glass of water from the kitchen. As he takes a sip he recalls his dream and how he had looked down at his sister. But that couldn’t be right.
A searing pain in his head forces him to tighten his grip on his cup before it goes away again. Stupid head. Stupid dream. Stupid girl trying to get in his head.
As he lays back down a memory of clear grey eyes flashes across his mind’s eye.
---
Throughout the next few days Jason tries to ignore the headaches and his dreams of the young black haired girl with grey eyes and of getting chased which was more frequent and more urgent than he remembered them being. It was just all a big waste of time. At least the Dagger girl wasn’t trying to find him anymore, he didn’t know how he would react if she showed up again.
After another dream of getting chased, this time he was just so tired of it he got a few good punches in on the Bane/Joker demon that was chasing him when his phone buzzes, startling him awake. He ignores it in favor of a cup of coffee and checks the time on the oven that he never uses, it’s almost two o’clock.
His phone buzzes again several more times in quick succession. He finally heads over and clicks his phone on to see five messages from Stephanie.

for part 2 to challenge u could have gar and y/n in different domestic scenarios being cute n in love and jason trying to break them up bc he's jealous and can't understand why their dating since they're both so different but in the end realising they're both perfect for each other and they all live happily ever after the end.
Warning: Jason being jealousssss
A/N: Part two to Challenge! I’m terrible at multiple part imagines but I hope I did this good enough justice!
Word Count: 3.1k
Part One
Tumblr media
Jason Todd didn't understand.
He didn't get how someone like you would ever end up with someone like Gar. Not that he believed Gar to be a bad person or anything, but the two of you were so different. You were confident, outgoing, and never could say no to a fun time. Gar on the other hand, was way more shy than you were, he was hesitant to get out of his comfort zone, and he was the biggest nerd.
The two of you were just polar opposites. So, when you got together, he was more than shocked to see how well you got along. He had known about your friendship, but never realized how close it was. He found himself getting irritated every time he saw the two of you together.
The first time that he was annoyed by your dating was when you were making dinner in the kitchen together. Even though you cooked for the whole team, the process seemed like such a private time with Gar. He would sit at the counter watching your every move until you had asked him to do something for you.
The moment that he was done with the task, he would stand behind you with his hands around your waist and his chin on your shoulder. He would reach his neck around as far as he could to kiss your lips. In anyone else eyes, the action would have been adorable. In Jason's, it was disgusting.
He had walked in while Gar was leaning against the counter, chatting with you and looking at you as if you were the utter love of his life. Jason didn't say anything, but the flush in his cheeks spoke loud enough: he was jealous.
Jason had lost the challenge, but he wasn't ready to give up quite yet.
The second time Jason was irritated was when he was sparring against you. It wasn't unusual for the two of you to fight against one another, but this time he had just been frustrated with you. Gar was going against Dick just on the other side of the room and the two of you would constantly be exchanging looks.
Between fights, whenever you had the upper hand, any time that you weren't losing you were throwing winks or kisses towards your boyfriend. Jason was furious. This was supposed to be a serious training session and you were just goofing off. You were never serious anymore since you started dating Gar.
When he finally had enough of it, he had stormed off after yelling at you. Though your feelings weren't hurt, Dick still ran after him to go scold him. That left you and Gar in the training room.
"You gonna release the beast this time?"
"In your dreams," Gar rolled his eyes. He still refused to fight against you as the tiger. Dating you had made him even more protective of you and that meant that he wasn't going to do anything that would purposefully harm you.
"Oh baby, you know it." Gar's face lit up bright red. He was still getting used to your confidence and your ever lasting need to try and get him to blush. Almost every time, it worked. He was a constant flustered mess around you and you loved it.
"Stop," Gar whined. You raised your fists up and jumped around the mat. He followed your lead and the two of you circled each other, antsy on who was going to make the first move. If he was to be honest, it was always you, and he didn't mind that.
"Make me," you winked.
><
By the the fifth time that Jason had been annoyed that the two of you were dating, he had completely lost it. He was out for the night, causing whatever chaos in the town. By the time that he got back home, he was nothing but disappointed and disgusted.
You and Gar had decided to have a stay at home date night which included movies, popcorn, and far too much laughter. Dating Gar might have been the best choice that you had ever made in your life.
You were happier than you had been in years. No longer having to keep your feelings hidden brought a weight off your chest and you felt as if you could breathe once more. Not that you wanted to curse it, but things were going perfect.
Gar opened up to you more than he ever had before. He trusted you with his secrets and you trusted him with yours. The friendship that you guys had was taken to a whole new level. You couldn't even think about what life would be like without him - even it was only a couple weeks since you had been officially started dating.
When it came down to it, he was your best friend first, and losing him without the addition of a relationship would have broken you. Now, you felt as if a literal piece of you would go missing if he left.
"(Y/N)," Gar dragged out your name. You were sprawled across the couch with a bowl of popcorn by your side. Everyone else was out that night which meant that you and Gar had the whole place to yourselves. You decided to take advantage of the big screen and have a much needed, relaxing, movie night. "You're taking up the whole couch."
"I know," You smirked at him. The popcorn was moved out of the way and you opened your arms up for Gar to lay beside you. He grinned and nearly leaped into the space. Gar covered your face in kisses before landing on your lips for a quick peck. You were completely encased by him and the blanket.
This was the first time that you had the tower all to yourselves and you had to admit that you were a little more than excited. Your mind wandered to everything that the two of you could be doing and you weren't sure where you wanted to start. Gar had decided for the both of you with a movie night.
He picked some sort of comedy movie that was sure to be filled with cringe-worthy jokes and raunchy humor - exactly what the two of you needed. After the rest of the team figured out that you two were dating - which didn't didn't long - they had endlessly teased you for it. Rachel bugged you with every chance she got, Dick lectured you as if you were still kids, and Jason... he was a little frustrated at the situation.
Gar knew about Jason's feelings towards you, but he also knew that you were nothing but a conquest for him. He didn't want to date you - he wanted to sleep with you. That wasn't who you were, and Gar knew it. As much as he was worried about Jason taking you from him, he knew that he trusted your more than anyone.
Throughout the movie, Gar couldn't keep his hands off of you. The rested on your waist, played with your hair, intertwined with your fingers, and once he even dared to try and tickle you. You never realized how much of a touchy person he really was until dating him. You didn't mind - not when it came to him.
Even when you got up to go get another drink for yourself, he followed behind you with is arms around your waist making it much harder to walk anywhere. Gar had gotten you, and he wasn't planning on letting you go anytime soon.
Just before the movie ended, Jason had come back to the tower. Neither of you had heard him come in until he loudly groaned at the sight of you. You were still wrapped up with Gar, not even paying attention to the movie as you left kisses up his neck. It distracted him enough from both the movie and Jason.
"Seriously guys? Get a fucking room," Jason complained. Gar had nearly fell off the couch in surprise and you couldn't help but giggle. PDA was something that never bothered you, at least not nearly as much as it bothered Gar.
"Sorry, Jay," you apologized. "Movie's almost over. You can stick around for another one if you want."
"Hard pass," Jason rolled his eyes. "I'll watch a movie with you another night though." You could tell from the tone in his voice that he meant you, and only you. Jason never had a particular problem with Gar until the second you two started dating. It was more evident than ever that he didn't like the younger man.
"Yeah, maybe another time," you partially brushed him off. His smile held hope that what you said was true. Jason gave you a little wink before heading back to his own room. "He's impossible."
"Tell me about it," Gar rolled his eyes. He pecked your lips once more and was caught off by a yawn. You giggled a little at him - the sound of it lit up his face. Gar was absolutely entranced by every sound and movement you made. "Do you wanna stay over in my room tonight?"
"No offense Gar, but last time I stayed in your room I was up half the night sneezing from your tiger hair," you tried to hold back a laugh. "However, you are more than welcome - if not encouraged - to stay in my room tonight."
"It's not my fault I shed!" Gar laughed with you. "I guess I'm going to have to take you up on that offer." He leaned down to peck you - but you had kept him close and deepened the kiss. Your hands ran through his green hair and enticed a quiet moan as you tugged on the roots.
"Guys! Seriously!" Jason yelled. He had come back to the kitchen to get a glass of water only to see the two of you making out on the couch. That was his breaking point. He could deal with the hand holding, the hugs, even the pecks. But seeing the two of you make out on the couch where he sat, too? That was far past his limits.
Jason scowled at the two of you. His eyes darted between you and the mess of Gar's hair that you made. He was not impressed - that was easy to tell.
"I'm tired of seeing you two together! It's non-fucking stop," Jason expressed himself. You knew he had been upset at you and Gar for getting together, but you didn't think that he was holding this much back. "Grow the fuck up, there's other people living here too this isn't just your home. You don't see me having girls hanging off my arm everywhere do you? No. Stop being so, so gross!"
Jason stormed off leaving the two of you to sit there in shock. Jason was jealous of your relationship with Gar. He always had a crush on you - you knew that from the start. However, seeing the two of you together being a cute couple? You didn't realize how badly this could hurt his feelings.
As much of an asshole that Jason was, he didn't deserve for you and Gar to rub your relationship in his face.  And it wasn't like you meant to. Everything with Gar just flowed so easily, you barely even noticed that you were shoving your relationship down everyone's throats. However, the other's didn't see it that way, only Jason.
"I feel bad," you muttered. Gar rested his back against the couch as you snuggled into his side.
"Why?"
"Jason's always been nice to me, I don't want to stop being friends with him just because we're dating," you explained yourself. Gar squeezed your shoulder and kissed the top of your head. He didn't realize he could care for you even more since the short few weeks that you two had been dating.
Gar wanted you to have the world. He always wanted that for you. It seemed that every day his only task was to make you smile at least once. Whether it was him being his usual nerdy self, or surprising you with something he found in the store. He always managed to make you happy, and he wanted to keep you that way.
If that meant that he would have to deal with you and Jason being friends, then so be it. Even if he was jealous as soon as the older man walked into the room, he trusted you. There was a reason that you choose him over Jason.
"You know Jason. He gets frustrated and he over reacts, I'm sure he'll cool down soon."
><
It took a while for Jason to cool down afterwards, but he eventually did.
It seemed like he spent the next couple weeks trying to sabotage your relationship. Going extra hard on you at training, taking away your time with Gar to help him with something, even getting one of you to do some stupid mundane task for him to split you apart.
He was trying his best to prove that he was right, you two didn't belong together. Yet, it seemed like after every pursuit he had, it seemed to only bring you closer together. You and Gar were the opposite of what Jason believed you to be - you were perfect together. While you brought out more confidence within Gar, he kept you grounded.
The two of you may have been polar opposites, but that didn't mean that you were any less good for each other. Jason had to learn that the hard way - and he did. It took him a while to see that you two were truly meant to be together. Even after all of his frustrated comments and actions, he realized that he was wrong.
Which was why after shamefully telling you that Gar wasn't good enough for someone like you, he had finally broke. Jason had seen the heartbroken look on Gar's face when he walked in just at the wrong time and the rage filled look on yours. He had known he messed up the second the words came out of his mouth.
That night you had spent the night with Gar wrapped around your arms and his head on your chest, telling him repeatedly that there was no one else that you would rather be with than him.   He felt like Jason was right - he wasn't good enough for someone like you. Gar couldn't be more wrong.
"Gar, don't listen to him. You said yourself, Jason's jealous, he's gonna say stupid shit that he doesn't mean," you assured. Your fingers ran through his hair in hopes to comfort him. "Beside's what's it matter what he thinks? It's me 'n you right? That's all that matters."
"Still doesn't mean I don't feel shitty," Gar grumbled. He buried his head into the blanket covering you both and sighed.
"You want me to go beat him up?" You asked, only half joking. Gar just let out a grunt in response. You hoped that the comment would have made him feel better. "I know what's gonna make you believe me that what Jason said was bull," you suddenly came up with.
Gar peaked his head out from the blanket just enough to stare up at you. He knew the look on your face and that it meant that you were up to no good. There were many things running through your mind as to how you could prove this to him - many of them ideas where you knew you'd need to lock your door - but this one in particular was nothing like that.
You ripped the blanket off of you and headed over to your dresser. Gar watched as you rummaged through to find whatever it was that you wanted. His gaze went from your bare legs all the way up your body - followed by a tinge of pink on his cheeks.
Rain pattered against your window and filled the silence in the room. Finally, you pulled out a small CD case which contained a singular disk. Gar looked at you with raised eyebrows, but you said nothing as you went to the old player in the corner of your room and popped it in.
A grin fell on your cheeks as the music began. You spun around to face Gar and stuck your hand out for him to grab. "Dance with me?" You asked. Gar matched your smile and accepted your hold. "This is the playlist from my parent's wedding... Haven't been able to listen to it in a long time but I figured if there's anyone I would want to listen to it with, it's you."
Your hand was encased in his, the other on his shoulder while his was on your hip. The two of you slowly paced around your room. Your head rested against his chest and you couldn't help but sway a little to the beat. This was perfect, these were the moment that you would forever cherish with Gar.
As the song neared ending, your looked up to meet his eyes. They were glassy, but held no sadness within them. You let go of his hand and placed both of your palms against his cheeks. Gar leaned into your touch. You cranked your chin up to meet his lips.
This kiss had been different than the rest of them. This was slow, each second filled with every ounce of adoration you had for this boy. You wanted him to know that he had no reason to fear for Jason, it was him that you wanted. Gar was everything to you, and upon realizing that in only a matter of weeks? It had to mean that this was going to be permanent.
You pulled away from the kiss. Gar was grateful for you. You knew how to cheer him up even when he didn't realize that he needed it. You knew him better than he thought, and that was what his weakness was. You were his weakness.
"Believe me now? Garfield Logan?" You asked.
"I think I'm going to need another kiss, just to be sure."
"I think I can manage that."

Things I’ve managed to convince myself are canon:
Dick was born in Romania and spent his entire childhood traveling with the circus not once settling down therefore when his parents died in America (supposedly just another country they stopped in) he was forced to stay there. Meaning dick was an illegal immigrant for a long time while Bruce constantly was trying to use his money and power to get Dick legal without him leaving the country OR anyone finding out
This also means Dick couldn’t really speak English when he moved in with Bruce (this is backed up by him constantly dismantling the English language in the YJ cartoon)
All of the bat kids were bullied brutally in school
Bruce encouraged them to fight back just like Alfred did with him (“never throw the first punch but if get hit make sure they’re the ones that stay down”)
Dick spent a couple weeks in juvie after his parents died and it was the worst couple weeks of his life
Dick had a childhood crush on Wally (who is straight) when dick was 16 he sat Wally down and told him. He told him he expected nothing out of this confession he just hated feeling like he was lying to Wally, Wally understood and was really nonchalant about it nothing changed in their relationship
Jason grew up loving wonder woman and considered her his greatest inspiration in being a hero when he was robin
In return Diana absolutely adored Jason
When Jason got older his respect for Diana only grew and Diana constantly stood up for him, even going as far as (subtly) threatening Bruce a couple times
Jason can’t handle the smell of drugs at all, he always has to wear a filtered mask during drug busts just in case
Jason used to smoke but ever since coming back the smoke just reminds him of the explosion (I saw this somewhere I can’t remember where shout out to you tho)
Jason hates the color green
Tim was severely neglected as a child
Tim learned multiple different languages from all the nanny’s he’s had
Tim is an amazing photographer
All of Bruce’s kids are really close with Selina and go to her to talk or just if they need a break from Bruce and she absolutely adores it
This is one of the main reasons Bruce wanted to marry her
Bruce might be a little awkward and socially inept but he is a good father and loves all of his kids and even tho he might slip up sometimes he would NEVER (I’m looking at you Tim king) NEVER EVER intentionally hurt one of his kids physically or mentally BECAUSE THAT IS EXTEREMELY OUT OF CHARACTER @ ANY WRITER WHO HAS MADE BRUCE A JERK GOD LEARN YOUR CHARACTER JEEZ
Damian is a phenomenal artist and is considered a prodigy
It is something he keeps to himself however
Both Dick and Tim have gone and worked under Selina during thier robin days for a few weeks
The only person who is close to Dicks level when it comes to acrobatics is Selina
There are days where you are only allowed to speak in your native tongue to help Everyone keep up their language skills (Tim speaks Filipino dick speaks Romani Jason speaks Italian Stephanie speaks Portuguese Damian speaks Arabic bruce switches Cassie speaks Chinese) these are the days duke feels like slamming his head through a wall
All of the bat kids have green lantern shirts
Tim has a habit of stealing clothes from literally anyone
Tim prefers tea over coffee
Ace and Titus are both trained service dog however Titus is Damians specifically while Ace is trained to alert Alfred of Bruce and to alert Bruce of Dick Tim and Jason
Bruce is think about getting another dog for Cassie steph and duke because he doesn’t want to overwhelm Ace with 3 more people
Nobody in that spoiled family except for Jason and Alfred can make ANYTHING other that ramen cereal and toast
Dick is insanely healthy because that’s how he grew up in the circus AND the manor
Bruce once lit the refrigerator on fire trying to cook. No one knows how. He denies he ever did such to this day
Dick was considered a heartthrob as a teen and actually was featured on vogue in native dress and took the opportunity to talk about his culture
Vickie was fuming but so was Lois
Dick dresses like Harry styles. Convince me otherwise. I dare you.
However his go to look is a Hawaiian short tucked into black skinny jeans and black converse
Just like Selina everyone in the batfamily has a tendency to confide in Dinah
No homophobia sexism or racism is allowed in the Wayne house hold if you display any of the following you will promptly be kicked out. It has happened before
Cassie has punched lex Luther in the face at a gala
Bruce laughed
Cass has also only worn sweats and a sports bra to a gala
Cass is a ballet dancer and likes teaching her brothers the moves she has learned
When Bruce came back from the dead and found out the justice league thought Tim was going insane with grief and didn’t do anything about it he yelled and screamed for a solid hour. Then he went silent. for weeks he didn’t say a word. It was the most terrifying he had ever been
Duke hangs on to the fact that he is the only meta allowed in Gotham with absolute pride
All the robins check in on the kids from the ‘we are robin’ movement every now and again just to make sure they are okay
Adults are terrified of the bats however children love them
Every member of the batfamily has been called over by child screaming out their window only to spend the next hour helping said child with their homework
Batman makes sure he is approachable to children he wants them to feel safe enough around him to ask for his help no matter what
That has led to him: 1. Patching up stuff animals 2. Calming down imaginary friends 3. Giving opinions on important matters such as which color is the best 4. Helping with homework 5. Trying to be persuaded into convincing the parents not to make broccoli anymore. It’s his favorite part about putting on a mask
Teenagers tho a little more hesitant also approach him with a little more serious matters and more for advice. (How can I help my friend with depression? How can I help my anxiety? I think friend is doing drugs how can I help. I don’t think these are good people I’m hanging out with but now I’m too scared to stop)
However if teens catch any bat sitting on a rooftop close to their windows they ask more stupid type of questions
“Hey nightwing how do you ask out a girl?” “Red hood I’m trying to write this book so hypothetically how long does it take some one to bleed out?” “If I payed you would you take my physical for PE for me?” “How good do you think you would do on the pacer test?” “Can you tell my little sister to shut up, she’ll listen to you?” “How much do I have to pay you to scare my friend?”
Talks between people and the vigilantes from rooftop to window happen a lot and it is always the highlight of the patrol. They like that the people of Gotham trust them.
Jason was brought back via whatever that superboy reset was (I’m still a little fuzzy, sue me) clawed his way out of his grave and then found by Talia. He was then but in the pit for his head injuries. Making it easier for the shadows to manipulate and brainwash him into hating Bruce. However that’s the only thing they manipulated him into. Jason didn’t go ‘insane by the pit’ and his thoughts and stances on killing are his own. And the way Bruce handles Jason being back is what made Jason continue hating Bruce even aged the brainwashing ‘wore off’
The day his dad died was what Jason considered the best day of his life
Dick is extremely intelligent and was considered a child prodigy (this isn’t a headcanon this is actually canon some of y’all just forget and need to be reminded)
Dick loves math (also canon)
Jason can sing. Like really really well.
Theater Nerd™️ Jason Todd
Jason is scared of thunderstorms
Damian is afraid of heights
Lady shiva absolutely adores Tim
They have all been arrested a few times each for varying reasons when they were teenagers
If Alfred or Bruce yell one thier full names the other kids will cover for them but ONLY if they use the full name other wise it’s every man for himself
I know this one isn’t batfam but I think kon playes the electric guitar and has a really unique punk-ish vibe type singing voice (think hobo Johnson)
Dick has naturally curly hair

Trauma and Healing: Adjusting to Normal [Jason Todd x Reader]
A/n: Okay guys so here is chapter 5! I made it as a bit of a more fun chapter. Just the reader hanging out with the outlaws and making it a bit of a plot oriented chapter, not a lot of dialogue. Its a light chapter compared to the others I think. I’m kind of on the fence about it so if you guys liked it I’d love to know. Thanks loves, hope you enjoy. Love ya! <3
Warning: Mentions of mental illness

________
Ch. 5: Adjusting to Normal
After that night you gained an immense trust in the trio. Jason, Roy, and Kori became your main support system. Always there if you needed anything. Having given you a spare room they had for storage, it only having any extra ammo, arrows, guns, the usual vigilante needs. It’s nice having that space, being able to have a place to be alone and calm down if your powers act up.
You still frequently hear the voices and have flashbacks from your PTSD. However, your powers were beginning to become completely under your control and you didn’t flinch like you used to when someone would comes near you. The only thing sticking with you from your past were the flashbacks. Having done a lot of training with Kori, of whom’s abilities were the closest to yours. Though there has had to be some self training due to the three not having the knowledge of how to help with those powers like the energy pulses you could let out. Batman had offered to assist in training you, but you told him the Outlaws were taking care of you and you didn’t want to burden him. He has a whole city and world to worry about, you’re just fine. Plus you trust them more than you trust Batman.
Training was hard. Jason and Roy had also taken up teaching you some hand to hand combat, and taught you to shoot both a gun and bow. Sometimes it would stress you the hell out, often leading to one of your and Jason’s regular talks on the roof while having a smoke. Jason really had taken a large part in helping your adjustment to this life. Especially with your education.
You had been taken before you could graduate, leading to just knowing the basics. Jason had taken to helping you improve with subjects like english, literature, some history. He’s quite intelligent. Often you both would sit on the couch, he’d watch over your shoulder as you read. Explaining what certain parts of a book meant or explaining a word you didn’t know.
Jason loves teaching you. Loving to just watch as you read, the way your eyebrows furrow when you’re trying to figure a portion of the plot out. He was really beginning to have strong feelings for you. There’s just a strength and adoration about you he can’t shake.
These feelings did not go unnoticed by Roy and Kori. They absolutely adore that Jason is smitten with you! They do not stop teasing him about it. Jason would end up swinging his arm behind the couch when reading with you, it resting behind your back. When they would see that they’d always just smirk at him, earning a glare from the marksman.
They would take every opportunity they had to tease Jason. It’s not often they get a chance too, Jason is known to be smooth when it comes to women. But there’s just something about him having a ‘crush’ that Roy and Kori find adorably hilarious.
Today they had taken a special interest in teasing them. Now that you had your powers under control they thought it would be safe to show you around Coast City, and Kori was excited to go shopping with you. Hell, she was just excited to have another girl around.
Arriving at the mall, Roy and Kori claimed to be starving and went off toward the food court. Leaving you and Jason on your own. He shook his head chuckling, “Well, I should’ve expected that. Come on there’s a store I want to show you.” Jason smiled while putting his hands in his pockets.
Following him through the large building he led you into a small book store. “This is where I get most of my books” his eyes skimmed over the many shelves. He witnessed as you left his side and began to run your hand over the books. For a while he just stood watching you, admiring the way you would delicately take a book of the shelf and look it over before putting it back. Occasionally checking out the first page.
Eventually shaking himself out of his enchantment before going around to look for a certain book he was searching for. Occasionally he would look over to you, making sure you were still there and okay. Finding his book he walked up behind you, noticing you reading the back of a book, recognizing it as Pride and Prejudice.
“Find something you like?” His low voice made you jump, realizing who it was you laughed and held your chest. “Gosh, you scared me Jay.” Smiling while looking back at the book, realizing the name you just used. “Oh gosh I’m sorry, I uh I didn’t mean to” panicking while looking back to him. Seeing a light pink dust his cheeks, “No, no. It’s okay, you can call me that. I mean Roy calls me ‘Jaybird’ so I don’t mind” he smiled reassuringly.
Grinning sheepishly at your feet, you nodded. Looking up at him you both started to laugh a bit. Though it was cut off by the sound of Roy yelling, “Are you two nerds done?” Rolling your eyes you both exited the store after paying, you taking a spot next to Kori as you walked. Not noticing Roy throw an arm around Jason and ruffle his hair teasingly. Then Jason pushing him off.
Kori led you into about every store. You needed this trip, having been living off hand-me-downs from her. She helped you pick out shorts, shirts, skirts, dresses, the whole nine yards. Her final stop being the one she had been waiting for. Excitedly she dragged you into Victoria Secret, which was indeed a rather needed trip.
Usually Jason wouldn’t even flinch, Kori had dragged him and Roy into this store nearly a hundred times. But with the thought of being in the store with you made his cheeks heat up and his heart quicken, fighting it back as to not tip off his teammates.
You and Kori walked and looked around the store, Jason and Roy idly following. Jason avidly avoiding eye contact with you. “See anything you like Jaybird, on a certain someone” Roy nudged him, wearing a shit eating grin. “Fuck you Harper” Jason glared at the archer before walking off to follow you and Kori once more. Roy chuckled running after him.
Catching up to you both. Continuing to look around, but you eventually convinced Kori you had what you needed and that you should go. She was hesitant but finally agreed, paying before heading out of the store. Jason breathed a sigh of relief. It was beginning to get dark so you all decided to make the walk back to the apartment.
You were a bit down about having to go back. Knowing they had a mission tonight, meaning you’d be on your own until the following day. Jason must’ve noticed this, “Hey, wanna have a smoke when we get back?” Meeting his blue hues you nodded before diverting your eyes back to the sidewalk in front of you.
Staying silent the rest of the way to the apartment. It honestly felt as if you were out during the entire walk. For some reason you barely remembered it, feeling like you zoned out the whole time. It was strange. It felt like something was trying to push your consciousness out and replace it with something else. It freaked you out a bit but you shook it off when reaching the apartments.
The others noticed it too but didn’t bring it up, figuring you were just thinking about something. Jason thought maybe he’d talk to you about it when you got back. And he did, it was the first thing he brought up when you both lit your cigarettes.
“You were quiet on the way home. Is something wrong?” He asked, letting out the smoke. “Just tired is all” you lied with a shrug. “It didn’t seem like you were tired. [F/n] I’m serious, is something wrong?” His expression showing one of worry.
“Jason, I’m fine really. I was, am, just tired, and a bit overwhelmed from all the people. I’ll be fine after some sleep. I might be a little lonely tonight after having you three around but I’ll be okay.” Smiling a reassuring smile at him. His shoulders fell as he sighed, “Okay, but if you need anything we’re just a call away. It’s your first time on your own since everything so, if you want one of us to stay.” You sent a look that said ‘I’ll be fine’ and he raised his hands in defeat. “Alright Alright” Saying before taking another drag. You shook your head smiling, flattered by his worry.
“Hey guys! We gotta go!” You could hear Roy yell from the fire escape. Both turning at the same time to see him poking his head up. “You better go, I’m going to finish this” holding your cigarette up. “Alright, see you tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated.” Jason smiled before putting out his cigarette and jogging over to Roy. Leaving you to lean against the ledge, taking another drag of your cigarette.
Standing there you thought of what happened earlier. ‘What was all that zoning about? That was a first.’ Thinking to yourself. Bringing the cigarette to your lips again. ‘It’s probably nothing.’

hey, sports fans, my name is yekaterina petrovna zamolodchikova, but your dad just calls me katya. okayyyyyy, so i’m not nearly pretty or sweaty enough to be katya. i’m Sorry. i’m meg and i am the worst person you’ll ever meet. but it can only get better from here.
Tumblr media
❝ Is that NICOLA PELTZ? Oh nevermind, it’s just DYLAN ROSS who lives in Evanston as a HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR. She’s EIGHTEEN years old and has TWO siblings. Her parents, JESSICA LANGE and PARENT FC call her INTUITIVE and WITTY, but she can be MANIPULATIVE and INCONSIDERATE, too. Don’t tell anyone, but rumor has it SHE SLEPT WITH HER FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND. ❞ ── Meg / 22 / PST.
so. let’s get this out of the way. she slept with her friend’s boyfriend. and her excuse is that it just kind of happened. she was drunk and he was drunk, and the rest, as they say, is sloppy, drunk sex. she feels Really bad about it, in her own dylan way (( which is mostly a giant blame game, but she’s Sorry!! But!! It’s not All my fault!! )).
clearly, she’s very self-involved and selfish, but she can also be very loyal to her few real friends. she has a Lot of friends that she collects, because high school is a jungle and the way to thrive is with a large, beautiful pack. but she really only knows about three of the people she hangs out with everyday.
she’s a closet nerd. not like a Smart nerd (( she’s not dumb, but she’s fine with a b average)), but she loves comics (( specifically batfam and flashfam )), and other various nerd lit like star wars and star trek. she doesn’t really keep it a secret for “popularity’s” sake (( bc come on. this is the 21st-century)); it’s more that she has this idea of what a pretty, popular, privileged girl is in her head, and jason todd stan is not one of them.
she likes alcohol a lot. and she likes parties a lot. and she doesn’t like being told no. so...she doesn’t exactly have a Perfect relationship with her parents. she’s daddy’s little girl when she gets her way, but when she doesn’t...fits are about to be thrown.
she can be pretty aggressive, aggressive when it comes to someone hurting her family or her friends. like she gets into fights a lot. too much. she should just like learn how to deal.
she was super unfortunate looking until puberty, which is probably why she uses her looks for evil sometimes. she just doesn’t want to ever be invisible again. and the Bullies. ugh. junior high bullies. ew. gross. she’s probably friends with a lot of the kids that used to tease her. yikes.
she’s pretty flirtatious, but she doesn’t actually have sex a lot. it has a lot to do with her being an pimply, plump girl with an unfortunate hairstyle until she was sixteen. she’s still kind of self-conscious about her body, so being naked around someone she’s attracted to rarely happens, sober.
drunk dylan, tho...
she wants to be a writer, definitely. not really about fashion, all though she would love that too, but she likes writing short stories and novellas. but! she’s a realist, so she’ll probably end up selling pharmaceuticals or something boring.
if you’ve made it this far. congrats. you get me. and now you’ve learned some tasks in life aren’t worth doing. #thanksdwight
