I'm starting to get back into art in a way I consider proper!! I base my life on rules so even if it's restrictive, it's comforting when I feel like it falls in line.

anyways I've been working on practicing my foundation for anatomy and angles. I found some tutorials that had actually helpful advice for building a foundation of how to practice and I'm actually excited about putting it to use. it's been a while since I've actually wanted to pick up a pencil and do anything but I'm working on getting my groove back. it used to be so important to me to make really nice art on a somewhat consistent level (and I used to be more passionate, but I think I can get that back too) but the past few years have really fucking kicked my ass lmao. I hope my 30s are easier than my 20s.

if I had known a good way to practice these things I would have done it as a teen but it's okay if I'm just starting now I think...

The guy I ride to work with keeps messaging me on the government monitored work IM to litterally say "*cough* *cough* going to feel ill at 10 tonight." And will message me that five times in a row and then be like, no pressure if you want to stay though. Like, my guy you drive the car just tell me when you're leaving. If you just tell me ahead of time I also have the sick time and can notify my supervisor but for the love of God stop playing these games with me!
