Arashi no Yu Yokohama🪨♨️ This location is known as the "Stone Onsen". In our previous post, we shared a reel of Arashi no Yu, and today we would like to share some photos of this beautiful place with you all! ❓What is "Arashi no Yu"? The floor is covered with a thick layer (25 cm to 50 cm) of 15 different types of medicinal ores, which are a mixture of mountain, river, and sea ores. The minerals from the medicinal stones and natural hot spring ingredients are infused into the bathroom as a "nano mist", which creates an experience similar to a hot spring without the use of hot water. ❓What are the on your body? The nanoparticles of ore and hot spring minerals are effectively absorbed by the body, while the large amount of sweat released during the process helps to eliminate harmful toxins from the body. ✅The heat source for Arashi no Yu is warm water, and as such, there are no electromagnetic waves involved. It’s hard being a tattooed person, especially when you are a foreigner in Japan wanting to try out the traditional onsen (hot springs). Even though it’s not as big a problem in today’s world in most countries, tattoos are still relatively taboo in Japan because they’re associated with the yakuza.

Central Higashiyama Onsen♨️ This area, and ryokan seen on the photos, can be really considered the central area of Higashiyama Onsen. The ryokan is called Mukaitaki and seems to be quite old and a central piece of Higashiyama Onsen.
