Came upon another of my former posts that didn't sell. The 1989 home in Lake Placid, NY has 9bds, 10ba. It's been for sale since 2022 at $31.15M. In 2023, it was reduced to $15M. Taken off the market for 2mos., it's listed again for $15M.

It looks like one of those little German weather houses, doesn't it? Well, you won't believe what's inside.

The interesting living room. Well, we can barely see the fireplace w/all the stuff.

Long formal dining room.

Have you ever seen a kitchen with a gate? I mean, unless they have a dog as tall as a human, that's not a pet gate. There are also bars behind the cooktop. Look at the lights under the cabinets, so they look like they're hovering.

The kitchen is very small for a $15M house.

We're going downstairs, now.

Family room with a huge stone fireplace.

There's a door to this covered patio with a built-in fire pit and swinging sofas.

The home is like a maze of halls.

There's a shower in here, and is that a hot tub or a water feature? Nice ceiling and rock wall.

Double doors and a hall leading to the primary bedroom. This house doesn't look this big from outside.

The bedroom is weird. I just learned that this black thing is a Japanese Luong bed, probably custom made.

It leads to this area with a spiral staircase, a bear, and a fake tree.

The spiral stairs go up to a guest apt.

It has a bigger kitchen than the main house.

Out on the deck. Across the way, see that cabin on huge trunks? That's a guest cabin.

Well. This is certainly is literally in the trees.

Behind the treehouse is another house.

There's another apt. in here with a cool kitchen. Love the two-tone cabinets.

Yet another living quarters with a full kitchen.

Makeshift bedroom in the garage.

But, that's not all the living quarters. There's still a vintage Airstream trailer on the property.

They ruined it with the cement coating inside. Well, this property is big- it's 46.64 acres with lots of living quarters.

Hey guys!!! I said I would work on a Uzi human version to match with my N human version, so here it is!!! I decided to make her a mix of Japanese and Middle Eastern, since Nori means seaweed in Japanese and I’ve have a friend named Khan who was Middle Eastern irl!

Since you guys like the headcannons last time, have some about Uzi:

Uzi was born with blue eyes and black hair, like her parents had, though Khans eyes were a more icy blue. When Khan started to neglect Uzi, she decided to mimick the appearance of her mother instead, seeing her as a role model after everything cool she heard about her around the colony, dying her hair purple like her.

In this AU, Uzi knew her mother before she died for a short time as an infant. Of course, she doesn’t remember much, but she does remember the play dates she used to have with her cousin Doll anytime her aunt Yeva would come over.

Nori and Yeva were sisters, both genetically modified to have the solver inside of them, making Doll and Uzi cousins. Nori and Yeva knew the consequences of having offspring with the solver in their veins but were actively working on a cure before Noris demise.

Uzi, Doll, Lizzy and Thad used to be childhood friends, but after Nori died and Yeva began to pull Doll away from her cousin to protect her from any trace of the solver, Doll and Lizzy began to bully Uzi.

Uzi came out short, like her father Khan, whereas Nori was tall, partially due to the effects of the solver.

Uzi's favorite foods are Philadelphia Sushi Rolls, Shrimp Tempura Rolls, Shoyu Ramen, and Khan Plov (suprisingly)

Uzi's favorite dessert is Apple Cheesecake!

Khan and Uzi used to have a pretty wholesome father daughter bond, but when Nori passed, he distanced himself from his daughter around the time Doll and Lizzy started bullying her, due to fear the solver may have developed in his daughter. Unfortunately we all know what eventually happens in the series and how Khan picked the worst time in her life to try and rekindle a bond with her.

Uzi has a scar on her left shoulder from N stabbing her with his wing in the Pilot, but honestly she doesn't care if people see it, unlike N who's self concious about his scars, and she thinks it looks cool.

Once she begins to be taken over by the solver, her thirst for oil is uncontrollable, though she HATES the taste of it.

Uzi's favorite anime is Chainsaw Man, though N thinks it's to gorey.

N taught Uzi to fly with her wings, and it went...as well as you could expect the first few times, but eventually she learned.

Sometimes Uzi has moments where she doesn't remember certain events in the day like what she ate for breakfeast or what she did that day in school, and her mind sort of blips all over the place ever since her solver powers were activated. She doesn't know this, but whenever that happens the solver is slowly getting acustomed to her body, putting her conciousness to "rest" while it tries out her body.

N and Uzi's favorite activity is to watch the sun rise together from inside an abandoned building they have made their "treehouse" of sorts. V doesn't know about it, and it's filled to the brim with comfort items, furniture and decorations for whenever they decide to stay out too late and no make it back home to risk burning up.

Uzi's favorite animal is cows!

Uzi and N spoon each other often, even when they were just friends, because the warmth of their bodies makes them feel safe and loved.

Uzi's favorite subject is Science and anything to do with being hands on. She likes learning and school, but just "dislikes" likes and doesn't know how to speak to them without being bullied her peers with a passion.

Uzi can be very motherly and protective, and is actually very nuturing and kind underneath her edginess.

She'll NEVER tell V this to her face, but she's grown to love V as a big sister of sorts and cares about her as much as N.

Her favorite color purple. She thinks it makes her and N match look cool but you didnt hear that from her.

She likes alot of metal and hardstyle types of music, but acutally enjoy's N's upbeat and pop music from the late 1900's and early 2000's human era more than she lets on.

She doesn't like when N uses his deeper voice and whispers in her ear...it makes her feel...weird. But in a good way- wait what?

She loves to draw and totally doesn't have sketches of her, N and V as superhero anime characters, her and N building a neural network together in her sketchbook. EW. GROSS.

Canadian Cartoons Are Great

Today, the popular cartoon YouTuber Saberspark uploaded a video talking about the infamous “fart episode” of the 2023 Total Drama series. The comments were filled with hatred and generalizations towards Canadian animation. These terrible comments are not the fault of Saberspark, but it is true that the “big users” in the cartoon community are (mostly) Americans who spread myths and stereotypes about Canadian cartoons. This has bothered me and a few others for quite a while, so here, I’m going to prove why Canadian animation is great, actually, and dispel common misconceptions

All Canadian cartoons are about fart jokes - if you say stuff like this, you clearly have never seen a Canadian cartoon outside of Total Drama and Johnny Test. That’s like if I said “all anime is naughty tentacles” or “all American cartoons are about anvils falling on your head.” And don’t act like your precious USA cartoons and anime are exempt from toilet humor. One example of an anime with toilet humor is Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt - their first episode was about a monster made out of shit. And we all know about the gross out cartoons such as Ren and Stimpy.

Canadian cartoons are cheaply mass-produced because of CanCon - No. What CanCon ACTUALLY states is that a certain percentage of content on a Canadian channel has to be Canadian-made. The policy is about supporting Canadian art, not “mass-producing” cartoons, since this applies to ALL Canadian TV and radio content, animated or otherwise.

Now, let me tell you some reasons why Canadian animation is actually great

Some of your childhood shows, such as Arthur, Franklin, and Little Bear are Canadian in origin.

Some of the most acclaimed cartoons within the cartoon community, such as Ed Edd n Eddy and MLP:FIM, were both animated in Canada and had voice actors from there (same talent pool, in fact - Vancouver)

Inspector Gadget and the Beetlejuice animated series helped keep good animation afloat during the 80s. In a decade full of uninspired and insipid cartoons, these were two of the highlights.

Canada is still a great place to outsource animation, as proven with the works of Nelvana, Mercury Filmworks, Jam Filled, and countless others.

If you grew up without cable, you probably watched PBS Kids and/or Qubo a lot. Guess what - lots of the shows on both of those channels were Canadian. For example: the PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch: Timothy Goes to School, Seven Little Monsters, Marvin the Tap-Dancing Horse - these shows are all Canadian! Qubo was also home to Jane and the Dragon, Jacob Two Two, Babar, Spliced, etc - they’re all Canadian too.

Because Canada’s censors are far more lax compared to American ones, Canada has made huge strides in teen and adult animation. Such shows include Total Drama, 6teen, Detentionaire, Undergrads, Producing Parker, etc as well as the movie Heavy Metal.

Also because of the lax censors, Canadian cartoons had positive LGBTQ representation far before the United States did. One episode of 6teen has a character stating “I’m gay,” and in Braceface, the main character assists her gay friend in finding a boyfriend. Unsurprisingly, these episodes never aired in the US.

6teen also dealt with periods before Turning Red, Baymax, and Molly McGee did it (again, the episode was banned in the US).

Finally, here are a few Canadian cartoons I recommend, and where to watch them:

Cybersix (it was a Canadian and Japanese co-production). The whole thing is on TMS’ YouTube channel.

Redwall is on Pluto, and there are episodes of it on YouTube courtesy of Treehouse Direct

Toad Patrol (unfortunately you’re gonna have to resort to low quality YouTube uploads)

Ruby Gloom is a great show if you like cute gothic stuff; it too is on Tubi and Pluto

The Adventures of Sam and Max: Freelance Police - on Tubi

One of my favorites, The Raccoons. Basically the Canadian equivalent to The Simpsons, and with a banger ending song. The show’s production company has uploaded episodes of it for free on YouTube.

The original Clone High was animated by the legendary Nelvana (if you’re wondering, the new season is not outsourced to Canada 😔) It is on Paramount Plus and HBO Max

Undergrads - yet again on YouTube, in low quality unfortunately. Like Clone High, it was on MTV.

I also recommend watching some short films from the National Film Board of Canada. My personal favorite is the Log Driver’s Waltz.

Tl;dr - American cartoons are not bad because of Allen Gregory, anime is not bad because of Pupa, and Canadian cartoons are not bad because of Johnny Test or fart jokes.

I just noticed something, how Treehouse changed Macuil's character. His line against Seteth is this in English: I will not assist you. I have lived apart from the world of man, which disgusts me so. This war disgusts me also. Whereas the Japanese text is this “...I won't lend you a hand. I retired because I was sick of the human world. War at this point is disgusting.”

It's not that he's disgusted by humans, he faked his death and left after Nemesis was slain because he was sick of war. The war of heroes didn't end with Nemesis slain, it was only when Seiros made peace with the families of the Elites.

And then think about how there's no recruitable character in Houses with his Crest. The only person we know of is Monica, who was killed by the Agarthans to serve as a skinsuit for Kronya. No one in the game uses the Crest of a said who is sick of war.

Also, it's not that he smells the “stench” of Sothis, he senses her power within Byleth in the Japanese.This whole paralogue is about how Claude has begun requiring seeing proof with his own eyes rather than simply acting on his initial impressions and assumptions, seems like the translators failed to realize what his route was really saying.

The Sims 4: Medieval Save

Hear ye! Hear ye! The Medieval Save is finally here!

This has been an ongoing project which many Simmers from all across the world were apart of and we turned nearly 19 worlds from the game into medieval kingdoms. I've always been a fan of medieval fantasy as well as The Sims Medieval and so this save was born.

A few things to take note of:

* Due to the previous placements of some lots in destination worlds, a bug caused them to became unplayable. It is now fixed (as well as a few other things) and I kindly ask you to re-download the save and delete all previous versions (uploaded before 13 March 2023).

* This is not meant to be a historically accurate save and not all worlds can be considered "medieval". For example Oasis Springs was turned into Ancient Egypt and StrangerVille was turned into a Native-American world and there are many fantasy creatures in the save. Also, The Sims is a very modern game and we had to work with what we have. I guess it would've been more accurate to name it Historical Fantasy Save or something along those lines, but the main theme has always been medieval.

* It requires nearly all the packs and is quite a big file. I didn't want to restrict people's creativity and we don't have many medieval looking items in the game. I recommend lowering your graphics if you have a lower end PC and note that you might have many bald, nude Sims and missing build objects if you're missing packs.

* It doesn't add any new gameplay, though it could change how you play the game. Almost all modern appliances are removed and most lots are off-the-grid. This is not a mod and thus I couldn't add things like swordfighting or things that would make the save more immersive. Luckily there are many mods out there that could help with that.

* Some Sims with royal titles have longer names and editing them in CAS will force you to shorten their name. If you wish to edit them, you can shorten their name in CAS and just re-add their titles with MCCC in live mode.

* NPC Sims/townies will continuously spawn with modern clothing by the game's design. You can either delete them as they spawn, give them medieval makeovers or edit them in CAS and replace them with medieval Sims from the Gallery. Fairdells, previously Willow Creek:

A magical kingdom home to elves, gnomes, fairies and several magic-wielding races.  Ruled by the tyrannical King Taranath, the future of this once-peaceful kingdom looms in the air. Architecture includes elven palaces, treehouses, dwarf villages and more.

Egypt, previously Oasis Springs:

The ancient kingdom of Egypt ruled by Queen Cleopatra of the Ptolemaic dynasty. It includes pyramids, palaces, temples and more.

Wood Grove, previously Newcrest:

An extension of Fairdells home to dryads, elves, gnomes, ogres and other races. It's a more "foresty" area than Fairdells and includes swampy ogre homes, mushroom homes and lots more.

Windenburg:

A kingdom ruled by the royal Von Haunt family. After the King's death, his young son took his place on the throne, but has much to learn and is ruled by his mother, the Queen. Includes typical medieval architecture like castles, inns, peasant homes and more

Pirate's Cove, previously Brindleton Bay:

A hideaway for thieving pirates and cutthroat buccaneers. Includes pirate nests, ships, inns and more.

Mermaid Isles, previously Sulani:

This kingdom has always been home to both men and merfolk. Recently pirates have invaded and everyone is at war. Includes pirate ships, a mermaid castle, an inn and more.

Chihuahuan, previously StrangerVille:

A desert home to indigenous Native-American tribes. Includes an adobe village, tipis and the infamous Pit of Judgement!

Mt. Komorebi:

An ancient Japanese kingdom home to Japanese farmers and Samurai warriors. Includes onsens, Samurai training grounds, villages and more.

The Swamp of Terror, previously Evergreen Harbor:

A ruined region home to those shunned by society - beggars, thieves, ogres and more. Includes an orphanage, ruined buildings, ogre swamps and more.

Glimmerbrook:

A magical kingdom home to all spellcasters and is ruled by Lady Ravendancer Goth. Includes a castle, library, inn and more.

Britechester:

Built and ruled by the royal Landegraab family, this kingdom is home to scholars and those who wish to learn about history and dragons among other subjects. Includes a castle, student housing, libraries and more.

Selvadorada:

A lost kingdom which includes several inns, temple ruins and more. Many travelers go here to search for hidden treasures and discover ancient secrets.

Nordhalla, previously Granite Falls:

A Viking settlement home to Vikings as well as werebears. Includes Viking homes, a stave church, werebear hideouts and more.

Forgotten Hollow:

A kingdom home to creatures that dwell in the night. Ruled by Count Vladislaus Straud, it's a haven for all vampires, but vampire hunters have recently arrived and things are about to get messy. Includes vampire castles and temples, vampire hunters headquarters and more.

Henford-on-Bagley:

A rural kingdom home to many farmers and their animals. Ruled by House Llamaryen and a place where fairytales come to life. Includes a castle, farm homes, a village shoppe and more.

Guild Centre, previously Magnolia Promenade:

A small shopping centre which includes an inn, tavern, market and apothecary. Travelers from all kingdoms go here for their shopping needs.

King's Valley, previously Del Sol Valley:

Home to some of the most prominent Sims accross all kingdoms, such as the Emperor, his most trusted advisors and high ranking priests. Includes castles and a sept.

Tartosa:

A kingdom surrounded by the Mediterranean sea. Home to the legendary Princess Cordelia and the royal Thebe family. Includes castles, pirate ship, a peasant village and more.

Moonwood Mill:

A village home to lumberjacks, mooncasters and MOOcasters. Includes a lumber mill, peasant village, cowplant farm and mooncaster hideout.

Ultimate Vacation Home: Ari

Ari Doesn't always take you to the same place when he wants to get away. He's a world traveler who really appreciates the different cultures of the places he visits.

Often, he'll choose very immersive, primitive places for you to stay. One time he rented a treehouse in Tanzania for you to stay in, where you could watch the wildlife from your balcony.

One time, he took you to stay in a real teepee in Joshua Tree national park. Another time you stayed in a literal yurt in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia! He's even rented out a lighthouse off the coast of Greece!

But Ari's favorite place to go for vacation is undoubtedly Japan.

He adores the culture and the peacefulness of the scenery. You're aware that Ari has a dangerous job as Mossad agent, and that he loves your Japanese getaways for the serenity they offer him. He feels at peace there.

The first time, Ari booked the two of you into a simple yet luxurious ryokan in the north of Japan, in a river village outside of Sapporo.

Your room had traditional architecture, paper screens, tatami, and a gorgeous overlook over the village in winter.

You got to explore both the local Onsen with Ari, as well as the little one that was private to your room (that one saw a lot more *ehem* action. So much so that you joked Ari's 'little swimmers' might not be able to recover after all the time in the hot spring water.)

Ari has taught you so much about the culture and the language and the food. One night, drunk on plum wine, he had a sushi feast delivered to your room and he had you sit in his lap while he hand fed you each piece, telling you what you were tasting as he kissed your body. Kemp is the one of your five who associates food and sex together, but Ari's sushi night really gives Kemp a run for his money.

And there's just something so romantic about crawling into your floor-level bed in your simplistic room with him each night and having him cover you and make love to you. In its own way, it's just as primal as the treehouse or the yurt had felt.

Japan was gorgeous in the snow, but the second time Ari took you back was in the spring, and the house you rented together in the south of Japan was equally as amazing. It had a central courtyard of zen trees and moss where Ari would perform Tai Chi--shirtless.

This property had a private onsen too, only in the spring it took on a colorful beauty with the surrounding blossoms on the trees. One side of the house was light, and the other was shade, with a serene moss and water garden. The house had a wooden walkway all around the outside perimeter, and you could walk right along all the courtyards. Your favorite was the shaded koi pool that came right up to the house on one side.

It was on this second visit that Ari took you to a tea house and you got to meet real modern Geisha! You loved their kimono so much, that next Ari whisked you off to a shop, bought you an entire elaborate kimono (worth thousands) and had the shop assistants dress you all up in it.

It was fun but you felt a little silly heading back through town in it. But when you got to the house that night, Ari took you into the bedroom and spent his time undressing you slowly, piece by piece, worshipping every part of your body as he went.

That happened about eighteen months ago, when Ari was going through his divorce and was struggling to share you with the other four and was having a really hard time keeping his boundaries with you. On that night he'd disrobed you so erotically, he'd whispered that he wished this was your wedding night, and that you'd be his bride. He'd cried after making love (though he doesn't think you saw).

On the last night of your vacation that time, he asked you to be his and only his. You felt like the entire vacation was ruined, when you had to tell him no. He asked you to think about it from time to time. Unable to crush him anymore than you already had, you promised you would.

Ever since, he's never asked again. Not because he doesn't want to, you know, but because he doesn't want to have his heart broken.

This year he says he's going to take you back to north for the cherry blossom festivals, and while you're looking forward to experiencing that beauty, you're also kind of terrified that he might actually propose this time.

Saw a mutual from the Engage JPN fandom talking about this on Twitter, and they bring up a really solid point—it's not that Engage has no worldbuilding, but that a lot of its worldbuilding is scattered throughout things like bond conversations and supports and flavor text. For me, it's really fun, because as you go through these things, information on Elyos is gradually revealed like piecing together a puzzle.

BUT... that's not the case for more casual players. For those who just do one playthrough without digging too deeply into things like supports and the flavor text, the worldview does end up seeming pretty thin, and the prevailing opinion from players kind of assumes that it is, which is a shame.

It ALSO doesn't help that (from what me and friends have noticed), Treehouse failed to translate several little details brought up in the character profiles that DO help to expand on the world.

How Vander's profile clarifies the way Lythos priests live (in distant villages away from Lythos Castle), or how Louis' profile mentions that most Firenese retainers are nobles, and that him becoming one as a commoner is rare. Or how Merrin's profile explicitly states that women in Solm are the ones who inherit positions of power, over the men. All things brought up in the Japanese version, but not mentioned in translation at all.

Mutual also pointed out that this is why the manga has been so well-received, even with people who didn't like the original game—because the mangaka actually incorporates information from the supports and aspects of Elyos worldbuilding into the main plot. And on that? I'd agree.

While I understand that Engage is Alear's story first and foremost, and that the main plot focuses more on the conflicts between dragons rather than the human struggles that surround it (which is an interesting approach in itself tbh), it's understandable how those looking at it with a more casual glance/superficial eye would think that there's not much to it.

But there is! I find Elyos to honestly be such a fun and fascinating world, and for those who DO care to dig deeper, there really are a lot of fun details about the nations and characters to chew on.

So, why do some people who love Crimson Flower always go on about how the English translation is pure evil? Because they always say that "oh, Treehouse hated Edelgard," but they never do a side-by-side comparison of why the English translaton is significantly more pro-Dimitri and anti-Edelgard (notice who they leave out in that) than the Japanese script.

From what I've seen, it seems to come from early fandom interpretations of 3H saying that it was "mistranslated to make Edelgard look worse" that came from people who, uh. Primarily didn't actually speak Japanese, or otherwise had a fairly severe misunderstanding of it.

You'll see this with pretty much every big-name event that is claimed to have been "mistranslated" in general. The AM parley, the Continue To Kill no u, Faerghus Toxic Masculinity, and "the Dream Interview calls her an antagonist not a villain" are the Big 4 of this thing happening, and all four of them have been thoroughly debunked as nonsense by people who actually speak and understand Japanese. That's probably why the actual MAJORITY of events that get the "this was mistranslated to make Edelgard look worse" card don't actually have that side-by-side comparison you mention (since there's WAY more smaller things that they say this about, for example Dimitri was TOTALLY JOKING with Edelgard during Gronder 1 and TOTALLY WASN'T freaked the fuck out at her "jokes"), because the people who claim this are 0-4 on being correct about this for four of the most important examples of this supposedly happening.

So they'll kinda just say anything is Totally A Mistranslation in the hopes that the English-speaking fandom who for the most part don't speak Japanese will believe them, and through that believe them on what the game is "actually" trying to say. With that being, of course, that Edelgard was completely and utterly right about literally actually factually every single thing she has ever said in the game ever and literally actually factually every single other person who disagrees with her is completely and utterly wrong (unless what they're saying is, of course, in alignment with what Edelgard is saying).

And if anyone who actually knows what they're talking about comes in and corrects them - even nicely! - they'll either go on about how everyone is coming after them (read: people who understand Japanese are correcting someone who doesn't understand Japanese about something that exclusively revolves around understanding Japanese), or they'll accuse that person of being a liar/sexist/homophobic POS who just wants the poor little gay bean that is Edelgard to be pure and utter evil since they totally view all gay women to be pure and utter evil.

All this, from what I can gather, is mostly to serve as a justification as to why they like Edelgard since they view liking her as a villain to be a genuine mark of bad character, for some reason. They want to believe that she's the progressive figure who does everything for the little guy for one reason or another, and so grab for any excuse they can give her they can think of to make their interpretation of her not seem so unfounded against all of the evidence Edelgard provides the player that she really is just an imperialist who doesn't really give a shit about her people if doing so gives even the slightest bump to her goal of forceful unification. All because daring to like villains is just soooo baaaaad lmao

Who would like to live in this cool-ish raised octagonal treehouse? It was built in 1973 in Ocean Pines, MD, has 2bds, 2ba, and they're asking $299K + $83mo. HOA (this has an HOA?). It's a short drive to the beach, so i guess b/c it's a beach community.

Interesting. I would've never guessed that the bathroom would have a Japanese soaking tub and matching shower. I think that style of tub is a good idea where space is limited.

Sunny yellow bedroom looks larger. It also has sliders. Both bedrooms have nice pitched ceilings with beams.

The 2nd bath has the same tile and a regular tub.

Here's a TV/family room downstairs. Something tells me that you can't access it from inside the house.

Then, in the other door, there's a utility room with a washer/dryer. So, you would have to go outside and come down the stairs w/laundry.

The deck around the house is nice.

It's a bit narrow, though.

But, you could always sit down here with guests.

If you play golf, there's a nice golf course nearby.

So y’all may be familiar with this Oc that i showed on my recent post, right?

Isn’t he a cutie child~? (He doesn’t even look like he gives people trouble… hehehe~)

Let’s start with the basics, shall we?

Nykui is a Telltown Oc.

He’s 10 years old.

Nykui’s pronouns are he/him.

His height is 3’3 feet tall (please, if someone is reading my Ocs heights… have patience with me: i totally have 0 idea of how tall or short these are… just know that Oliver is shorter than the average height pattern for guys, Nykui is smaller than Oliver and Emilly is the tallest between them…)

He is surprisingly Brazilian despite the Japanese name, lol

His comfort zone: …his little hideout in the middle of the woods… (he has a treehouse… his bed is a grocery cart he managed to steal…) (and before you ask me how he managed to bring a cart up into a treehouse… he has his ways…); his comfort food: bungeoppang or bao; his comfort objects: a blankie and a small dog plushie; his comfort characters: . . .just any dad or mom figure he can look up to…; his comfort drink: ramune sodas (he likes collecting the bottles and shaking the little marbles inside, lol) and his comfort dessert: bolinhos de chuva aka cinnamon sugar beignet.

He may be very weak (considering he is a child), but he makes up the lack of strength with agility and witty ability.

He’s an orphan neko boy who never met his mother and his father died when he was 7… he absolutely LOATHES the idea of living in an orphanage thanks for the discrimination he suffered thanks for his heterochromatic eyes and… his mixed race…

His one and only phobia is… monophobia/eremophobia…

He is a little rascal and hellion: since he doesn’t want to be on an orphanage (he escaped two now), he lives inside the forest of the small town Telltown…

He only steals food or a few toys to entertain himself with…

His main goal is… to find someone who wants him…

Here’s some fun facts about Nykui:

Since he is a little troublemaker to most townsfolk, he doesn’t get along with Charlie… (she doesn’t do anything to jeopardize him… she only picks him up and takes him out of the store he was stealing from… or she grabs him by the back of his coat when he’s pickpocketing people… of course he scratches her good and run away as quickly as he can… and she only sighs in a disapproving manner…)

Nykui is very stubborn and easily tricked when you use the right words with him… he’s not naive, but if you offer what he craves most, you’ll mostly likely will have his attention…

Thanks to his cuteness and trickery, he can fool a lot of tourists that come to Telltown.

His best friend is Lena: she’s nice with him…

He also likes Oliver and Emilly: Oliver always offers him their house for him to sleep on cold winters and makes the best cinnamon sugar beignets when it rains :). And Emilly… even though she acts sometimes a little Tsundere-ish, she has a soft spot for the neko child… like secretly giving him some of the pastries of the cafe she works on.

I really like to think that Nykui managed to convince Carter, Charlie’s brother, to build the treehouse for him muehehe~ >:3

I’m going to post a “little” (may or may not be actually a long-ass fanfic but oh well) fanfic about his relationship with Phantasmo… i’ll leave you all in suspense~ Muahahaha! >:D
