Stereotypical Asian Colored Hair
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Came across this post by asianfeed .
While I do agree, as an Asian, that there have been some stereotypical portrayal of badass Asian female characters with colored hair, I think we also have to look at the context and that not every Hollywood films portray them in such a way.
For films like “Pacific Rim” and “Big Hero 6″, the female characters are Japanese. And in Japanese society, they are extremely particular about your dress code in school and workplace that you are not allowed to color your hair.
Tumblr media
Rinko Kikuchi as Mako Mori in Pacific Rim (2013)
Tumblr media
GoGo Tomago in Big Hero 6 (2014)
Because in Japan, collectivism takes precedence over individualism, as a sign of unity and conformity. Those with “colored” hairs are seen as “different” and “rebellious” as they do not conform to society’s expectations.
So naturally, they are seen as “badass” as they do not care about what others think of them or even care if they cannot fit in into the society, as they are fine going about their lives the way they want to and not dictate by others.
Tumblr media
Kasumi Arimura as Sayaka Kudo in Japanese Film, Flying Colors (2015).
She played a troubled student who wants to break free and be different as she gives up being “normal” like everyone else as she feels that she could not fit in to the society which expects too much of her.
Tumblr media
Which is why Japanese anime often have characters with different hair colors, as its a way to emphasis on the beauty of their individuality and what makes each of them different and unique.
Even so, there are Japanese characters in Hollywood that do not have the stereotypical hair color.
Tumblr media
Haruka Abe as Akiko in Snake Eyes (2021)
Tumblr media
Kelly Hu as Yuriko Oyama aka Lady Deathstrike in X-Men 2 (2003)
And there are other non-Japanese Asian characters without the stereotypical hair color.
Tumblr media
Ming Na Wen as Melinda May in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD (2013-2020)
Tumblr media
Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing in Marvel’s Iron Fist (2017)
Tumblr media
Claudia Kim as Helen Cho in Marvel’s Avengers Age of Ultron (2015)
Tumblr media
Olivia Liang as Nicky Shen in CW’s Kung Fu (2021)
Tumblr media
Yvonne Chapman as Zhilan in CW’s Kung Fu (2021)
Tumblr media
Li Bingbing as Suyin in The Meg (2018)
Tumblr media
Jing Tian as Shao Liwen in Pacific Rim Uprising (2018)
Tumblr media
Angelababy as Rain Lao in Independence Day Resurgence (2016)
The list goes on but you get the idea, if you’ve watched enough Hollywood films, you’ll realize that not all of them portray a stereotypical badass Asian female with short colored hair, there’s plenty of them with natural long hair as well.
Tumblr media
Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson in Agents of SHIELD (2013-2020)
Besides, there are Asian women in real life with colored hair too, like Chinese American actress, Chloe Bennet and even the girl bands in Korea like BLACKPINK are hair colored. And I still love them all for who they are, Asians.
Tumblr media
To me, I’m happy enough to actually see badass female Asian characters on screen, regardless of their hair color. Because to me, what matters is the character development, personalities and stories that comes along with it.
Of course, this is just my thoughts as I completely understand where the post comes from as everyone wants an actual representation without mixing them with stereotypes. But I guess, we’re off to good a start.
Having said that, go check out Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Like every Marvel film, it’s worth watching and definitely awesome. No, I am not going to spoil it just yet and wait for some time before I put my review!

Morning Musume '17's Makino Maria talks about her love for Hello! Project with "20 Questions"!
In 2018, Hello! Project is celebrating its 20th anniversary, so we’re starting a celebratory serialization for it! We have a hot discussion including thoughts towards the 20th anniversary, how they have been active, enthusiasm for 2018, and everyday life as an idol, we have a hot discussion with “20 Questions”~. This time its Morning Musume ’17 member Makino Maria!!
Tumblr media
Makino Maria = Born February 2nd 2001, Hometown Aichi. Bloodtype A. 12th generation member. Nickname Maria.
Q1: Tell us the origin of your name!
My name is Maria so the image that was packed in was that it would be understood not just by Japanese but also foreigners in order to be loved around the world. I think that they wrote it first in hiragana or katakana, and then attached kanji to it afterward.
Q2: What senior do you aim towards?
Michishige Sayumi-san. Back when I was a kenshuusei it was something I thought all the time. She is cute and very kind, lots of people loved her. I got to be in Morning Musume with her for about 2 months and I only got to perform with her on stage at the end of her graduation concert. Therefore, I was happy when I got to perform with her at the Morning Musume 20th Anniversary Event.
Q3: Who would you want to be reborn as?
Ishikawa Rika-san. With Morning Musume, the song I like the most is “The☆Peace!”. I’d to also try Ishikawa-san’s monologue part.
Q4: What do you think you are the best at in Hello! Project?
I like the pro-baseball team Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters, I don’t think I can lose with my love. I have been a fan of my hometowns Chuunichi Dragon’s since I was 3 and looking at the players, I came to think that the Nippon Ham’s were cool when I was around 13. I like traveling and going to see them.
Q5: Tell us something amazing about Hello! Project!
The length of time we’ve continued. Its not the same members as 20 years ago, so I think that it is amazing that we’re continuing even now with all the changes. I’m 16 years old, it is amazing in itself that there are groups older than me.
Q6: Who would you want to be in a special Hello! Project unit with?
Of course, I think it would be nice to do it with Michishige Sayumi-san. Doesn’t Michishige-san often sing cute songs? I also like cute clothes, bunnies, pink; a song of such tastes would be good.
Q7: Tell us a Morning Musume song you like!
Our new song “Wakaindashi” was made into a song with an image of sending Kudo-san off; I like the message that comes with that type of song. Also “ENDLESS SKY” was when Sayashi-san graduated, it was song where we brightly sent off Sayashi-san; I like the song because I have memories of having fun singing the song all together.
Q8: What is a Hello! Project song you like?
I like “The☆Peace!” the best. It’s cute, but there are also energetic parts. Of course, I like the monologue part the best.
Q9: What is the difference between current and previous Hello! Project?
The formation dances. Now, the teacher will make choreography that can’t be imitated. Also the era is different, like we have smart phones, there is a difference because we can now immediately send out our thoughts with SNS or blogs. There are more places for us to communicate than before, it makes me happy that there are more opportunities to get to know Morning Musume ’17 now.
Q10: Other than yourself, who is your oshi within Hello! Project?
Morning Musume ‘17’s Kudo Haruka-san. Kudo-san is graduating Morning Musume to continue down the path of an actress, and I really like Kudo-san’s acting. When performing with Morning Musume, Kudo-san will often play the male roles, she is super cool, and will often shed tears in her scenes. I anticipate that she’ll be active with television and dramas!
Q11: What do you want us to see most from yourself?
My belly button. Recently, I’ve been taking a lot of swimsuit photo shoots because my belly button is my charm point, so I’d like you to look there. Also, I’d like it if you would look for me at lives. I think there is a pretty big gap. I speak like a child, but I think it’s different during a live. I have a feeling of always giggling around; in a live, there is a small switch, I like cute songs, but when there are cool songs, I really put my feelings into it.
Q12: What is work you would like to challenge?
I really like baseball, and I’ve achieved my dream of throwing the opening pitch twice now, but I’d also like to try doing grounds maintenance. Since I was little I’ve always watched the ground maintenance. I also want to try being a vendor or something! And also, I want to try doing baseball commentary. I want to give firsthand interviews of the players.
Q13: What do you want us to see the most from Morning Musume?
Our passion, of course. I want you to see our heat. Don’t Morning Musume’s members gradually change? New members join after all, and I think they do their best to not lose; if a member graduates, we all do our best to make up for the part that has left. We strongly boost each other’s spirits. Each and every time you look at Morning Musume, I’d want you to see our heat, right?
Q14: What will you be doing in 20 years?
Would I have graduated Morning Musume…? I’d like to become like the female version of Nakai Masahiro-san. While dancing and being an idol, he was also a baseball reporter for WBC, he is amazing at talking. In 20 years, it would be nice to have more knowledge on baseball so I can get a job with it.
Q15: Since it’s the 20th anniversary, tell us a secret!
Despite my appearance I’m strong at fighting. In elementary school, among the girls, we would fight among friends about small things, I was pretty strong. I wonder if I won because I’m strong.
Q16: After the 20th anniversary, what would you like to do?
Because I’m not very good at singing, I want to get even just a bit better at it. Practicing more and more. Also, I want to be able to eat my meals a bit faster. I’ve been slow since I was small. During school lunch, I would be the only one with food leftover…… But, I’m good at Wanko Soba, when Morning Musume went to Morioka on tour, everyone ate there, I got second place out of the members, in 15 minutes I ate 120 bowls. At that time Kudo-san got first place, from now on I think I will be able to get first place in Morning Musume!
Q17: What would you be doing if you weren’t an idol?
A Japanese sweets maker. With occupational experience, I have gotten to do it before and I like Japanese sweets. Also, when I was small, I wanted to be a fighters girl. I like Nippon Ham Fighters, but I also learned ballet.
Q18: What is something you’re into right now?
Magazines, that is to say, looking through fashion magazines. When Morning Musume has a photo shoot, I’ve thought that I want to become a bit better at posing. I’ll look at the photos of the model-san that I like. In particular I reference Lola-san.
Q19: Who do you get along with in Hello! Project?
Angerme’s Sasaki Rikako-san. We were in Hello! Project Kenshuusei together, and I’ve stayed over at her place a number of times. At the summer Hello! Project concert, we formed a circle with just us.
Q20: What is an idol to you?
Isn’t it that when you look at them, you forget about your bad feelings and are given energy from idols? While giving energy is good, when I see the fans cheering us on, I receive a lot of energy from that; I worry if I will be able to properly be able to pay that back. At lives, I don’t just have fun on my own, I want to have fun with the fans.

[SUMMER CANDY 2017] Kudo Haruka Interview (English Translation)
This being her last summer as not only a high school student, but as a member of Morning Musume., for Kudou Haruka, it's become something special unlike anything she's ever experienced so far.
Tumblr media
Kudou-san, you have this "summer girl" type of vibe to you, like you're one with the large clouds and sunflowers and whatnot.
My birthday's in October, so I think I'm moreso autumn (laughs). But, I love summer. I love playing in the water. Specifically when I was in elementary, I'd always go to the pool whenever it was summer. My little brothers learnt how to swim, too, so us 3 siblings went to places like the Seibuen Amusement Park and Tobu Zoo to swim in the big pools there.
I can see you competing against everyone to see who can do the best front crawl (laughs).
We also had a lot of water guns back home, and my brothers and I had this blow-up pool that'd we'd play in in the parking lot. We'd play with water balloons and I wanted to take pictures of when they'd burst, so all of us would verse each other for around 2 hours. For some reason, I didn't take rapid shots with the camera, but I focused all my attention into getting that one perfect shot (laughs).
Since going into show business at 10 years old, how has spending your summer vacation changed?
As a Hello! Pro Egg, during summer, I'd take part in the opening act for the concerts, and there were a lot of times where I did events in free lots. In the summer of 2011, I went to events everyday in Shiodome. That summer, I sang a lot with (Miyamoto) Karin. But, I didn't think things like, "I don't wanna end up wasting my summer" at all. I was so happy every time I got to go somewhere kinda far away on the train, and as an elementary school student, I thought, "I get to have a summer that feels so different from a lot of other people's summers!".
Since joining Morning Musume. in 2011, I imagine you must be busy with the concerts every year.
I don't really get to go to see the fireworks or the summer festivals in my off time, but I've gotten to experience the feeling of summer a lot, since I got to wear yukata for gravure photoshoots, I got to play with sparklers, and I got to lie out on the porches of old-style Japanese homes. In that way, I haven't really felt like, "I can't get the most out of my summer!". But, recently, I've been interested in checking out the stalls at the festival. My friends sent me photos saying, "I found a stall that sells fried Oreos!", and it surprised me, like, "Those exist!?". I'm interested to see how stalls nowadays have evolved.
You've announced that you're graduating from the group, so this summer is your last as a Morning Musume. member.
There are a lot of times where I think, "This is already the last one......", but I don't wanna get all sad about things being the "last" one. Thinking like, "This is the last one! Let's get pumped up~!!" is more my style.
Rather than feeling all sad about leaving, leaving being blessed by everyone is probably more like you, Kudou-san.
Of course, I also feel sad thinking that I'll be leaving behind the members and the fans. I've always worked within a large group of people, so it makes me feel lonely that I'll be on my own, too. But, just because I'm graduating from the group, it doesn't mean that I can't still meet up with everyone, so I don't think this is "Goodbye" but just a "See you later".
You'll be pursuing a career as an actress, it must be nice thinking that you'll get to reunite with the fans again.
Definitely. When that time comes, I might even have other girls supporting me (laughs). But, with people going "I've been supporting you even before", "I went to your handshake event", I feel like I can't help but feel honoured by how much everyone's been looking after me.
Is there anything else that you have yet to do in summer?
I don't have anything else I need to have resolved. I've done it!, so instead of trying out new things all awkwardly, I wanna spend the time how I've always done it. Going out to eat with all the members, acting like idiots. Those kinds of casual things, so I can look back who knows how many years from now, and think, "Those were good times......". In that way, it'd just be nice to have a regular summer. I'm gonna have as much fun as possible, and since there's not much time left until summer's done, I think I wanna spend it my way.

Translation: The Television: 20 for 20 (20th Anniversary of Hello Pro Series)
Maria answers 20 questions in this interview, ranging from the meaning of her name, her best friend in Hello Pro, and what she sees herself doing in 20 years. Enjoy, and please don’t repost without credit!
1. Tell us the meaning of your name! My name is Maria, but it's not only used in Japan, it's used in foreign countries, and the meaning within that is to be loved all over the world. It seems like at first, it was meant to be in hiragana or katakana, but the number of characters didn't fit, so it became kanji. (t/n: I'm not entirely sure what she means by this - her name has 3 kanji characters, and it would have been 3 in hiragana or katakana, too...)
2. Which senior do you want to be like? Michishige Sayumi-san. Ever since I was a Hello Pro Kenshuusei, I've always thought that. She's cute, really kind, and she's a person loved by lots of people. I've always admired her. I was in Morning Musume with her for about two months, and I was only able to perform on stage with her once, at her final concert, where she graduated. Even so, I was happy that I was able to perform on stage with Michishige-san the other day at the Morning Musume 20th anniversary event.
3. If you were reborn, who would you want to be? Ishikawa Rika-san. The Morning Musume song that I love the most is "The * Peace!" I think that I'd like to also say the line that Ishikawa-san says in it.
4. What do you think you are number one at in Hello Pro? I love the pro baseball team, the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters, and I won't lose to anyone in my love for them. Until I was 3, I was a fan of my hometown team, the Chuunichi Dragons, but I saw Shinjo and thought he was cool, so I became a fan of Nippon Ham. It's been about 13 years. I like traveling to see them and things like that.
5. Tell us something great about Hello Pro It's continued for so long. The members haven't stayed the same for 20 years, but I think that it's great how they change and it still continues now. I'm 16 years old right now, and it's amazing that I'm in a group that was formed before I was born.
6. If you could form a special unit in Hello Pro, who would it be with? After all, it'd be good to be in a unit with just Michishige Sayumi-san. I guess there are a lot of cute songs that Michishige-san sings. I also love to wear cute clothes, so a song with the motif of rabbits or pink would be good.
7. Tell us your favourite Morning Musume song! The new song "Wakaindashi" was made with the image of sending off Kudo-san, and I like songs that have a message like that. Also, "Endless Sky" was at Sayashi-san's graduation, and it was a song where everyone brightly sent Sayashi-san off, so I like songs where everyone sings while remembering the happy times with them.
8. What is your favourite song in all of Hello Pro? "The * Peace!" is the song I like best. It's cute, and it has energetic parts. After all, the spoken parts in the song are my favourite.
9. What's the difference between Hello Pro then and now? Formation dances. Now, the teachers are giving us choreography that can't be copied. Also, it's like the era is different, since we have smartphones now, so a difference is that we can send out our own words quickly using messaging services and blogs. Since there are more places that we can do that now, I'm happy that there are more chances for Morning Musume '17 to be known.
10. Other than yourself, who is the member that people should watch to come to like Hello Pro? Morning Musume '17's Kudo Haruka-san. Though Kudo-san is graduating from Morning Musume and following the path to being an actress, I really love Kudo-san's acting. When Morning Musume puts on plays, Kudo-san often plays the male role, she's super cool, and I often cry when watching her scenes. I'm excited to see her activities on TV and in drama!
11. What do you most want people to look at on you? My navel. Recently, I've been doing lots of photo shoots where I'm wearing a bathing suit, and my navel is my charm point, so I think that I want that to be seen. Also, I want you to watch me at concerts. I think that there's quite a gap. Though I'm childish when I'm speaking, I think that it's different when I'm dancing at concerts. Though I'm always excited and screaming, during a concert, a switch is pushed, and I also like cute songs but, during cool songs, I really put my feelings into it.
12. What kind of work would you like to take on in the future? I really love baseball, and though my dream has come true and I've been able to throw out the first pitch twice, I'd like to try ground maintenance. Since I was little, I've always wanted to try ground maintenance. I would like to do that more than being a vendor! Other than that, I would like to try things like baseball commentary. I'd also like to directly interview the players.
13. What do you want people to see the most in Morning Musume? After all, our passion. I want our passionate spots to be seen. Morning Musume's members continue to chance. After all, when new members come in, I think that I will do my best to not lose to them, and when members graduate, I think that I will try hard to fill in the gap they leave. We have a strong spirit of enhancing each other. Time and time again, whenever you see Morning Musume, I think that the passion is there.
14. What do you think you'll be doing 20 years from now? I'll have graduated from Morning Musume then, huh...? I want to become the female version of Nakai Masahiro-san. While dancing and being an idol, he was reporting for the baseball WBC, he can talk, he's amazing. 20 years from now, I hope that I can do work that capitalizes more on my baseball knowledge.
15. It's the 20th anniversary, so please tell us a special secret! I look like this, but I'm good at fighting. When I was small, there were fights about little things with other girls, like making them let me be friends with them,  and I was quite strong at that. I guess it was that I knew how to win.
16. When the 20th anniversary is over next year, what's something that you'd like to do? I'm not good at singing, so one year from now, I'd like to be a bit better at that. I'll practice more and more. Also, I'd like to become faster at eating. I've been slow since I was small. During lunch at elementary school, I'd be the last person still eating... But, I'm good at the soba eating competition, when Morning Musume's tour took us to Morioka, everyone ate it, and I came in #2 amongst the members, eating 120 bowls in 15 minutes. At that time, #1 was Kudo-san, and I think that in the future, I want to be #1 in Morning Musume!
17. What if you weren't an idol? I'd make Japanese sweets. I've done it for work before, and I like Japanese sweets. Also, when I was small, I wanted to be a Fighters Girl. Since I love the Nippon Ham Fighters, and I was also doing ballet. (t/n: A Fighters Girl is the Fighters cheerleaders.)
18. What are you into the most right now? Magazines, like reading fashion magazines. When we're doing Morning Musume shoots, I think that I'd like to become a bit better at posing. So, I look at photos of my favourite models. I especially use Rola-san as a reference.
19. Who are you close with in Hello Pro? Angerme's Sasaki Rikako-chan. We were in the Hello Pro Kenshuusei together too, and we've had sleepovers many times. Even at the summer Hello! Project concert, the two of us grouped up and made our own circle before the show.
20. What is an idol to you? When you watch idols, you forget your bad feelings, and they give you energy. Though I say that we give them energy, seeing the fans cheer us on also gives us a lot of energy, so I worry about if I can properly repay them. Even at concerts, I'm not just having fun, I think that I want to do them with the feeling of entertaining the fans, too.

Seiyuu-ka Manga Review
In every great anime comes some amazing voice actors/actresses. I got your back guys now so sit back and relax since we will be diving  into the wonderful world of Seiyuu-ka. I know all of us have its own dream that no matter what obstacles we encounter we will make sure that we will achieve it.
Well the story started when this young girl named Kino Hime was saved by a seiyuu of lovely blazer(Aoyama Sakura) from her miserable day. She reach out to this poor child for help then in exchange, if ever Hime saw someone in need she should offer them some help like she does. So Hime was determined to walk on the same footstep as her idol Aoyama Sakura to the point that she entered in a voice acting school. unfortunately our young maiden though she got all the will and drive she was somewhat lacking.
 Hime’s Status
Her voice sounds like and old man, and hermit or an old man again(lol) and her animal’s voice sounds like a robot in short it was terrible. (was called Gori-hime by her classmate)
Because of her voice she become one of the 4 lowest in the class.
She’s not good in academics.
Her life changes when her group(the bottom in the class) performs a dubbing session that will be shown to all of the students. if you’re lucky then you’re indeed lucky at all, she was able to produce a princely voice that charmed even a producer, a guy who offered them some help(kudou Senri- black haired.red eyed guy) and a lot of people. After that performance the producer(Producer Haruka Yamada) give her a calling card and offered her a job. though she wasnt accepted at first but  let say she was given a chance to debut as a seiyuu in exchange that she’ll fulfill Producer Yamada wish and other wise the producer will fulfill also her dream. all she have to do is to Cross Dress and thus Hime becomes Shiro(comes from the japanese word Doushirotou meaning Big Amature). the only thing she must do no matter what is to follow producer Yamada and no one must know that she was a girl.
People involved with Hime
Kudo Senri - Popular Voice Actor, Son of Aoyama Sakura, an Extreme tsundere as hime think.
Aqua (Haruyama Mizuki and Shuuma kawai) - popular Idol unit under the management of Producer Haruka
bottom 4(Tsukino, Takayanagi, Mitchell) - people who are part of hime’s group. they belong to the bottom group because of their troublesome unique weakness.(Tsukino-soft voice, Takayanagi- cant read kanji, Mitchell- Narcist)
Ume Ichijo - an Artist who help the bottom group with her drawing and storyline for their dubbing session at school. she was a fan of aqua.
Akane Kino - Hime’s Sister who is a model.
I let you all spoil a bit guys so that you will be tease and read this beautiful manga. just to inform you it has a romance tag and it got the same author(Maki Minami) as Special A (Yeah since Hime is a bit the same as Hikari), and was published in Hana to Yume. I recommend this manga because it was really an interesting one and i know a lot of people will love this. so below is a photo of Senri having a weird face after he heard his father’s words about Shiro(Hime).
Tumblr media

okusama wa tori atsukai shui
A newly married wife starts getting tired of the stay-home life and puts her skills from her hidden past to good use to right the injustices around the neighbourhood.
To be honest, when I read that description, it totally didn't interest me at all until I found out the scriptwriter (Kaneshiro Kazuki) is the same person who wrote Border and Crisis, both incisive police dramas that painted a world of disappointing systemic fallacies. To do a romantic comedy seems to be a complete jump from Kaneshiro's comfort zone, but his experience in suspense-based dramas is right up my alley.
From the outset, it positions itself early in the episode to say this is not your usual rom-com, with the heroine starting out tied to a chair and ending the scene kicking every male ass in the room.
I haven't watched Border, but Crisis wasn't overly memorable in terms of its characterisation, and that was something that worried me.
Fortunately, Okusama does 2 things right - it casts Ayase Haruka, who is probably the only Japanese actress her age that I can think of who can pull off sweet and deadly with conviction. In several scenes, she doesn't even have to raise her voice or change her smile for you to feel a sense of threat.
The 2nd thing which I feel Kaneshiro deserves kudos for is that Isayama Nami remains fully her own heroine, without the need for any male knight in shining armour to do the hard work for her. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a feminazi here, but one of the persistent tropes with Japanese media (manga and drama) is that their women need saving, that even the best women aren't as good as the men or need a helping hand from men.
On the same note, the only disappointment of the first episode was how little Nishijima Hidetoshi featured, and it seems a bit of a waste of his pretty face an excellent cast member to relegate him to a role that consists only of walking through the door every evening. I'm hoping there's a big twist where he's more than he appears to be as well! Perhaps where Kaneshiro's shortcomings begin to show is the dearth of actual interaction between Ayase's and Nishijima's characters, and honestly Nishijima's body language around Ayase is so stiff they don't look like a married couple at all. He had wayyy more chemistry with Takeuchi Yuko in Strawberry Night.
Hirosue Ryoko is unsurprisingly comfortable as the "more experienced" of the 3 married women, and as usual Honda Tsubasa's acting leave much to be desired but at least she isn't as sour as she was in Jimi ni Sugoi.
A surprisingly watchable drama in a genre that usually bores me to tears, probably because it's written by a guy who usually writes the type of crime thrillers I like watching. For people who like easy rom-coms, some of the scenes might be too tense, but for everyone else who can put up with a bit of intensity (and blood), this is definitely worth trying!
It'll be interesting to see where the script takes the story to, because the first story was a bit too textbook in how it portrayed the domestic violence. If you ever had a quiz on DV, you'll find all the main points there, and that part of it did come across as a little contrived.

Note: I hate having to skip posts and go out of order but I’ve fallen so behind that I figured it’d just be better if I just translate whatever. I’ll go back and catch up when I have time during break.
There’s some Chinese in her post, at least regarding the broadcast, and I gave up trying to decipher it haha.
