I just finshed reading a brilliant fic, I enjoyed it despite my general avoidance of canon era fics whenever I read fics about historical characters (guilt? Maybe).. so i was wondering if you ever read a fanfiction you consider worth reading? Like genuinely good?

+ if I remember correctly, you said that you don't like Hamilton the musical, but when it comes to fics _which this whole thing I am writing to you makes me seem as if I've read a lot of, but I am not_ I am new to this whole world to be honest, two months ago my friend recommended a jamilton modern au fic (https://archiveofourown.org/works/12575128/chapters/28642404) bec he known of my fondness of the musical and general intrest in the american revolution, to which I responded: jamilton! ofc not. and the history books in my tbr wouldn't aprove of being ignored to be replaced with fanfiction. Umm Anyway, flashforward, I checked it.. not the best writing but funny, sometimes smart, with sometimes _and sometimes not_ accurate historical references, and most importantly removed enough from the real people to be comfortable to read, He also recommended a whamilton but I can't tolerate the whole idea even when i just said that a jamilton fic was fun to read (no offence to anyone who like this ship, its not a preference of mine though) also, let me get this out the fandom interpretation of Miranda's Jefferson is much cooler and lovable than anything being written about history's thomas fucking jefferson, I really hate him.. and yes, they are totally different people.

And now I couldn't get my self to stop reading fanfiction bec my brain likes quick dopamine.. I did find trulywell-written stories like the one that my made me ask this question before my little addition kept getting and longer, I am sorry for that, but i did stumbled upon some cursed ones, and maybe cursed is an understatement.

I have to make my self stop writing here, and if you are stayed till the end.. I may have said this before (can't remember, ADHD memory) but even if I did let me repeat, Your blog is wonderful, thank you for posting and sharing it with us, I love it.

I am asian, never been to and english speaking country, sorry about grammatical errors.

I have highly specific standards in regards to fanfictions, but I think I can try it out. Not a fan of the musical by any means, but I would read a fanfiction about it if it was tolerable enough. Anyway, thank you for the suggestion :]
