if ms Fisher's modern murder mysteries had a season 3- my ideas
This could possibly happen! I don't dismiss the opportunity
8 ideas for 8 episodes in no particular order
1- surfing mystery
2- advertising mystery- either print or tv commercials
3- magazine/ world of publishing mystery- maybe a woman's magazine like Cosmo
4- beauty parlor mystery- peregrine was a hair dresser after all
5- gambling episode - vegas style ???
6-game show episode-
7-photography/ world of art mystery- like how to steal a million
8- a WW2 linked mystery episode. The 60s was obsessed with making movies set in WW2 after all.

I have to admit I do not understand why the choose that road
His boss I introduced as the antagonist in season 1 and in season 2 we should just be okay with it because suddenly he is a comic relief?
Also James arresting that old ill woman in season 2 (the fishing case, where the three people came together to take revenge for an abused and killed woman) was so….? Jack Robinson destroyed evidence so a gay couple wouldn’t go to jail and James straight up arrest that poor woman?
I love MFMM but MFMMM is so bumpy, you can clearly see that had no real idea where to go with that show… sad because there wouldn’t have been so many important things to talk about and they seem not to be aware of it
I hate james, his boss is a corrupted abusive bitch and he obeys him instead of helping the victims.
jack from the original miss fisher would never allow that.
ps: and james broke up with peregrine but behaves like she was the one that abandoned him.

Poll: Favourite of these UK pop culture institutions of the 50's and 60's?

My own personal favourite is Doctor Who. But I'm not voting for obvious reasons of course.

One thing I learnt about spy fiction is that a lot of other spies want to/have beat up James Bond. John Steed, Avakum Zakhov, my protagonists...

I said it once, and i will say it again: Steed seeing Peregrine how she takes control of the whole police department, offering a suspect Steeds chair and calls him out for his sexism and his immediate reaction is a lout, long, amused but also astonished: NOOOOOO!
Is peak comedy because Steed has already worked with Phryne and him realizing that after Phyrnes “death” he has no peace but yet another Fisher woman who turns his police deperartment upside down is amazing. Thumbs up for Joel Jackson acting talent.
I think mfmmm suffers from a lot of errors but the writers amanzigly intergarted Phyrnes “shadow” into the show.
When Phryne first entered the police departement, no one trusted her and she had to work her way up. When Peregrine enters the police departement, everyone is already aware of the existence of the Fisher women. Even when it is not said, you can see it in their reactions towards Peregrine. They defeinitily nailed: show, don’t tell

HONOR BLACKMAN photography by TERRY O’NEILL (1964)
Honor Blackman played Cathy Gale, John Steed’s assistant on “Avengers” (1962-1964). In 1964 she appeared as Pussy Galore in “Goldfinger”.

The solution to this is more Benoit Blanc movies.
i want Daniel Craig to go down in history remembered as Benoit Blanc and not James Bond. He’s clearly having SO much more fun in the knives out movies. it’s what he deserves.
