I have to say, I really prefer the versions of the songs from the 2016 Off Broadway boot floating around. BUT I'm impatient and didn't want to keep enduring the dialogue and applause at the beginning and end of the uploads on youtube, since when I'm listening it's more for the music than the (acting) performance. So, I ripped those videos and did some audacity work to crop out as much of the pre-song dialogue and post-song applause as I could. Mainly for myself, but I threw the MP3s onto google drive for my pals, so if anyone else wants to grab those for easy listening: here you go!

Opinions on jaime/catelyn

LOVE jamcat. Him with his childhood crush on her, her fancying him even though he tried to kill two of her children (she doesn’t know about the third) and is covered in his own shit ❤️

Also of all the potential arranged marriages amongst the Robert’s Rebellion generation, I think Jaime and Catelyn would’ve had some of the best chemistry. Obviously they both come with baggage (Jaime moreso than Cat) but there’d be a clear mutual attraction + two people who value honesty and would appreciate how direct the other is.

Also they’re both passionate individuals and family is important to both. I think getting Jaime away from Cersei would still be a bit messy at that age, but before the KG he did always assume this would come to pass, and honestly I think Jaime and Cersei would’ve grown out of their relationship had it not been for Cersei’s Kingsguard plot. They weren’t remotely destined to be what they became post Rebellion, the full extent of that toxicity is very circumstantial.

So if Jaime hadn’t joined the KG, Cersei would’ve left the Rock, Jaime would’ve had plenty of distraction in becoming heir and beginning his own family - and that would’ve been that. I think he and Cat probably would’ve been quite a normal and even happy couple, just with Tywin as a nightmare father-in-law.

It's 1am which apparently means soft hours tonight and I have been struck with intense feeling of I can't wait to be someone's wife.

Not in a weird traditionalist way or whatever. Fuck that. Nah, I mean in the way that there's somebody out there whom I likely haven't met yet that's going to love the little things about me. They're going to find it funny that I frequently act like I can keep up with Eminem or Lafayette in Guns and Ships which like I know I can't keep up but damn it, a girl can try. They're going to catch me bobbing my head like jamcat while wearing headphones and smile because they know exactly where in the Pebble Brain EP I am. If I tell them about something fandom related, even if they could give less of a shit about the topic, they'll politely listen for a bit just to see me talk about something I'm into.

And I'll love their quiet displays of being human back, all their quirks that I'll find endearing. Eventually, all that will culminate in both of us going well fuck, I really hope nothing drastically bad happens in the next 60 or so years because I don't want to give up your presence in my life anytime soon.

Long story short, I can't wait for someone to love me and decide they don't want to stop at any point in their life.
