What are your thoughts on haylor meeting up in late 2016? Do you think there was a slight chance of them getting back together, and do you think they would've made it if they did get back together? I know Taylor chose the safest option, but Harrry and her didn't even seem to talk things out, so why even meet in the first place? Didn't Taylor tell him she loves someone else, too? It's so confusing...
I think they did, there are enough crumbs to give it plausible and they both spent November and December in LA and London respectively. But this is in the same time the Joe stuff was starting so who knows.
This got long, sorry. The TLDNR is:
the canon is Taylor met Joe at the Met, dated Tom, broke up and in October 2016 went to Joe's premiere and started dating him. Although Joe was not in the same country as Taylor for most of that time. In May 2017 they went public and were seen 20 times before Reputation came out in November, it was super public.
An alternate timeline is that after Hendall and Hiddleswift both ended within a month and before Joe/Taylor and Harry/Tess Ward went public within a week the haylor sightings, being in the same city, songs, gifts, blind items, edited videos and friend comments were because they were secretly dating again.
because....
24 August - Hiddleswift over
22 September - Hendall break up again.
28 September - Taylor with Cara, Harry MIA, released Another Man covers/mixtape, Joe London.
October - Harry was in Jamaica recording HS1. Joe in London on 3rd. On 13th Joe and Taylor at Bowery enter separately. Joe is in NY for the Billy Lynn Long Halftime Walk promo tour so unlikely to have ample days ahead in NY given the films budget.
11 October - Taylor went to Joe's movie screening and the Rep book has a 19 November polaroid captioned "how would you feel about having a song written about you?"
3 November - Both are in LA for November with HS1 recorded.
25 November - Harry was seen in LA then disappeared for a week. Taylor posted a lot of photos of friendsgiving in RI. Joe not there. Taylor posted photos so would only show who was public.
28 November - is the first clue things may have been back on in a few months (apart from having both been in LA). Gemma (Harry's sister), Lou Teasdale (Harry's close friend & 1D stylist), Sam Campbell (Lou's sister and friend of Harry, married to one of Harry's friends too) go to Karaoke and post lyrics to WANGBT and Sam captions it "talk to my friends". 👀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Haylor Secrets posts that they are together, which.. that account may be totally fake, or making it up, but had been right about stuff
Tumblr media Tumblr media
December - Both in London, IDWLF released, Taylor has a birthday party at her London House the Rep magazine photos are in, Harry MIA but in London. On 28 December there was an unconfirmed sighting of them together and Taylor gave Austin a record signed by friends of Harry's. He thanked them and the band commented that it was signed for 'a friends little brother' who turned out to be Taylor Swift.' Harry knew them for years and Sam Campbell commented 'LOL'
Tumblr media Tumblr media
31 December - in 2020 7 photos of Taylor & Joe getting ready in her London house leaked with this date given. Why only 7? The date of the New Years Eve jumping into an icy pool story Taylor Nation edited out. If the story was about Joe why would it be edited out?
3 January 2017 - Lover journal that Taylor has been with someone for 3 months, no one has found out and she is living in London. It had been 3.1 months since the Hendall break up and 2.5 months since Joe got to NY. .....
Tumblr media
7 January - Harry records Lately where he sings 'I don't believe what you're saying to me, "that I love him"'
13 January - Taylor records DWOHT and the IDWLF music video.
1 February - Harry's birthday, the rose ring appears. Taylor is in NY/Nashville, Harry NY/London and Joe in London.
April - Harry's Rolling Stone interview where he leaves the table when Taylor is brought up and says he wants to tip is hat to her about 1989, and give his whole cap to the muse of HS1, now over.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7 May - Harry seen with Tess Ward, the first time he has been seen with anyone since having dinner with Kendall in September.
16 May - a week later The Sun reports Joe and Taylor dating 'for months'. First time Taylor seen with anyone romantically since August
Even longer versions are in the 2016 and 2017 timelines.

22 February 2023 Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex visited the 54th Annual Cayman Islands Agricultural Show this morning with the Honourable Premier, Wayne Panton, ringing the cowbell three times to officially declare the opening of the event. Great it has returned after a three year hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Countess greeted visiting dignitaries from the British Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos, Jamaica, and St Kitts and Nevis, who had travelled to Cayman for the Agricultural Show. A delegation compromising the Premier, Members of Cabinet, as well as other official dignitaries and representatives from the Department of Agriculture and the Agricultural Society accompanied the Countess during her tour of the livestock, displays, and district stalls under the Main Pavilion where Her Royal Highness also took the opportunity to speak to local farmers and vendors to learn more about Cayman’s efforts to reduce our reliance on imported goods. The Agriculture Show is a wonderful and much-loved event in our community. Great to be able to showcase how much Cayman has to offer to Her Royal Highness. — HE The Governor - Cayman Islands

Social Media I (WTMFS)
A/N: Hi everyone, with university I've been a bit busy (again) and I've hardly been able to come back to tumblr. The thing is, today while I was studying I came up with this idea and I needed to post it. These posts will be linked to the chapters of When The Music Finally Starts, so they will go chronologically. In the future they might even serve to help me progress the story faster since there are chapters that I find difficult to write and it might be easier using this way.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAIRING: Harry Styles x Hailey Foster (1Dmember!reader)
WARNING: Like i said, other times, I'm not an english native speaker, maybe there are some mistakes. Also, a little look into the next chapter of the story :)
TIMELINE OF THE POSTS: DECEMBER 2016-APRIL 2017
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DECEMBER 12, 2016:
Tumblr media
According to sources inside the show, Niall Horan, Hailey Foster, Liam Payne and Harry Styles turned up to support Tomlinson in his X-Factor performance. The 25-year-old singer was performing for the first time since the death of his mother, Johannah Deakin, on 7 December.
Although this shows the great friendship and closeness that still exists between the band members, Zayn Malik was the only one of the former bandmates who didn't show up to express his support for Louis.
It should be remembered that rumour has it that Malik, who announced his departure from the band a month and a half into their third world tour in March 2015, ended on bad terms with Louis and the band's only female member, Hailey, in particular. Although the reasons for the dispute never transcended, it is possible that they are still present as the singer did not show up to support one of his former "friends" in such a hard moment.

MOBILIZA SLZ: Primeiro fim de semana de atividades movimenta a cidade.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Musicalidade e dança tiveram espaços dedicados no Mobiliza.
Tumblr media
Moda, cultura geek e conhecimento
Tumblr media

O diretor técnico do Sebrae Maranhão, Mauro Borralho, idealizador do Mobiliza SLZ, e a coordenadora-geral do movimento, Danielle Abreu (Foto: Divulgação/Mobiliza SLZ).

Cheryl Adrienne Browne Hollingsworth (born 1950) Miss Iowa 1970, is a former ballet dancer who was the first African American contestant in the history of the Miss America pageant (Miss America 1971) following the abolition of the pageant’s rule #7, instituted during the 1930s, which read: “contestants must be of good health and the white race”.
In 2000, she lived in Lithonia, Georgia with her husband Karl. Both work in the financial industry and have two children.
Her father, Carl, worked as a narcotics policeman for Kennedy Airport’s Port Authority. Her mother Mercedes, managed a tuberculosis clinic at Triboro Hospital. She grew up in Jamaica, Queens with her three brothers.” She studied dance for 16 years before the Miss America pageant.
She left New York to attend Luther College. She entered and won the local 1970 Miss Decorah Pageant which enabled her to compete in the Miss Iowa pageant held on June 13, 1970. She placed first in the swimsuit competition and performed an original ballet performance for the talent competition to the music of ‘Scheherazade.’ She beat the other 19 contestants to win the title of Miss Iowa 1970. This win generated a strong response from newspapers, the Miss Iowa pageant board, and herself. The criticisms ranged from her ethnic background to the fact that a non-native Iowan won the crown.
This backlash followed her to the Miss America 1971 pageant held on September 12, 1970. She drew the attention of reporters and security personnel in Atlantic City who maintained a visible presence during pageant rehearsals. The Women’s Liberation Front demonstrated at the event. She was not a finalist, losing to Miss Texas 1970, Phyllis George. In August 1971, she traveled to Vietnam with George, Miss Nevada 1970, Vicky Jo Todd, Miss New Jersey 1970, Hela Yungst, Miss Arizona 1970, Karen Shields, Miss Arkansas 1970, Donna Connelly, and Miss Texas 1970, and Belinda Myrick. They participated in a 22-day United Service Organizations tour for American troops that began in Saigon. She commented that she thought “it was one of the last Miss America groups to go to Vietnam.” #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Rocky Dawuni to perform LIVE at the Legendary SOB's on July 8th in New York City, plus more US dates!
New Post has been published on https://plugzafrica.com/rocky-dawuni-to-perform-live-at-the-legendary-sobs-on-july-8th-in-new-york-city-plus-more-us-dates/
Rocky Dawuni to perform LIVE at the Legendary SOB's on July 8th in New York City, plus more US dates!
Fresh off of his recent performance in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire for the 50th Anniversary of World Environment Day with the United Nations Environmental Program, legendary Ghanaian musician and activist Rocky Dawuni will be heading to the US for a series of shows starting with NYC for a very special performance at SOB’s on Saturday, July 8th!!
This intimate full-band show is not to be missed!! Rocky will then be appearing on Sunday, July 9th at Music Haven in Schenectady in upstate New York as well as at Grand Performances in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 22 for the much anticipated Afro Funke’ 20th Anniversary Celebration presented by KCRW.
Rocky has been touring the world having just been in Costa Rica, the US and Ghana spreading his positive “Afro Roots” sound. The 3x GRAMMY-nominated artist just released a brand new video which premiered on Pan African Music for his collaboration with Ghanaian Highlife sensation Kyekyeku entitled “Africa Till I Die” which is on heavy rotation in Africa and beyond!
“Africa Till I Die is a musical success. It blends the native sound of Ghana, itself the product of a melting pot, with reggae born in Jamaica and claiming its African roots. The highlife rhythm has been slowed down and, by letting the bass flourish, the organ and the horns place their punctuations, offering a perfect backdrop for the reggae vocals, without even a skank guitar. This is the finest demonstration of a successful encounter, and it could only take place in Africa” – Pan African Music.
Rocky recently featured on a smokin’ track called “Afreeca The Future” with world-renowned group Morgan Heritage from Jamaica alongside Lord Alajiman of Daara J fame from Senegal as part of their brand new “The Homeland” album. The album features an amazing list of artists from all over the African continent! “Musically, they take the listener on a journey that not only reminds them of days past but the future ahead.”
Earlier this year, Rocky Dawuni was nominated for his third GRAMMY Award for “Best Global Music Performance” for his single “Neva Bow Down” featuring Blvk H3ro from Jamaica. Rocky has more exciting collaborations coming up this year out of Africa and is currently working on his 9th studio album continuing to build on his signature sound bringing much-needed conscious music to unite generations and cultures!

Yahoo News UK: Royals should pay slavery reparations, say nearly half of Brits - exclusive Yahoo News poll
The Royal Family haven't been well received in the Caribbean in recent years, with two tours undertaken last year ending in PR disaster. (Getty Images)
New polling has shown that nearly half of Brits support financial reparations being paid by the Royal Family over their historic links to the slave trade.
The Savanta poll commissioned by Yahoo shows a big difference in how the issue was viewed by different age groups, with younger generations supporting reparations more than their older counterparts.
It's another signal of just how polarising the royals have become, and why one expert thinks that they have "fallen victim to the culture wars"
youtube
Overall, 44% of Brits think that the Royal Family should make financial reparations for their role in the transatlantic slave trade, while 32% don't think they should and a further 22% don't know.
Watch: Royal Family 'has fallen victim to the culture wars'
Royal Family 'has fallen victim to the culture wars'
Royal experts have accused the House of Windsor of falling victim to the "culture wars" amid the fallout from the Sussexes' departure from the UK.In a panel discussion on the 'Future of the Monarchy' hosted by Yahoo News UK's royal executive editor Omid Scobie, journalist and broadcaster Afua Hagen said the monarchy had become more divisive than in previous times - citing the Firm's treatment of Meghan Markle and subsequent family split as reflecting a more polarised society."The royal family have fallen victim to the culture wars - it's presumed if you like Meghan then you're a lefty, if you like Kate then you're right, you vote this way, you vote that way," Hagan said, addressing the panel.Joining Omid were author and co-founder of the Women’s Equality Party, Catherine Mayer; King Charles’ biographer and royal editor at The Evening Standard Robert Jobson; and journalist and broadcaster Afua Hagan.Watch the full clip above
The polling comes after King Charles announced he would allow a historian into the royal archives as part of a research project being undertaken by Historic Royal Palaces into the royals' ties to slavery.
However, Rishi Sunak made clear in Parliament on 26 April that the UK government currently has no intention of apologising for the country's role in the historic atrocity.
Of all age groups, 18 to 24-year-olds (58%) supported the royals paying financial reparations most strongly; this support gradually decreased to only 29% in the over 65s.
Political affiliation also played a part in how people responded to the question: with Conservative and Brexit Party voters coming in the lowest in favour of reparations being paid, at 29% and 20% respectively. 68% of Brexit Party voters surveyed said the Windsors should not make any financial reparations.
SNP voters responded most strongly in favour of the royals at 68%, this was closely followed by Green Party voters at 59% and Labour voters at 57%.
56% of respondents who voted Leave in the 2016 EU referendum said the royals shouldn't pay reparations, compared to 32% of those voted Remain.
King Charles has previously spoken about the UK's history of slavery on several occasions.
Tumblr media
In 2018, he called it an "appalling atrocity" during a visit to Ghana, and in 2021 said that it "forever stains our history" during Barbados's official ceremony marking their transition to a republic and removal of Queen Elizabeth as their head of state.
Last year in Rwanda, Charles said in a speech that he "cannot describe the depths of [his] personal sorrow at the suffering of so many" and that he is working to "deepen [his] own understanding of slavery's enduring impact".
These sentiments have been echoed by Prince William, who expressed his "profound sorrow" over slavery during a visit to Jamaica.
However, as yet, no official apology has been given by the Royal Family for their part in the slave trade.

I came up with my Top 25 Christmas songs. Meaning, these are my 25 favorite Christmas songs. It's subjective to me, so don't get mad if your song isn't on the list, create your own damn list. I limited it to my personal favorite from each performing artist, so there isn't any group that appears more than once. I also tried to make the songs all different tunes, but I'm not 100% sure if I accomplished that. I'm going to post 25-11 today, and then slow roll the top 10 each day until Christmas.  25. Jack Johnson "Someday at Christmas (Alternate Version)" This is exactly what you would expect a Jack Johnson Christmas song to sound like. Syncopated playful guitar riffs with a strong bass and drum foundation. It sounds great once a year like every Jack Johnson song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9hHUkQzaiE 24. Ringo Starr "Come On Christmas, Christmas Come On" This is from Ringo's underrated late 90's Christmas album. It sounds like something you would find on a T. Rex album. Plus, it's Ringo. What's not to like? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQq0Wy7VKxk 23. Boris Gardner "The Meaning of Christmas" This is a reggae number but it's a cute song. I'm sure it will enrage people who are devout Christians, but what did you expect from a reggae song? Boris is nearly unknown outside of Jamaica, but is worthy of your attention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GE_EaoKCTM 22. Julian Casablancas "I Wish It Was Christmas Today" Again, this is exactly how you would expect a Christmas song from The Strokes to sound like. A refined nugget of ear candy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wS-k66MKgs 21. MxPx "Coming Home for Christmas" Probably the best late 90's-early 2000's pop punk Christmas song in existence. Starts how you would expect but has a great Christmassy outro to bring it home. Surprisingly nostalgic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQvneV0xFPM 20. Nate Dogg "Be Thankful" Nate was talented, that's a fact. Most of the time he was singing about weed, regulating or being generally misogynistic. It's refreshing to hear him not sing about the usual things. Plus, it's actually a respectable Christmas original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSejZV5llck 19. Jimmy Castor Bunch "Merry Christmas" I absolutely love the groove and vibe to this. It's a product of its time, the 1970s. You can't mistake that. But it's a great listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOlKTk3FXqQ 18. Carla Thomas "All I Want For Christmas Is You" This is not the Mariah Carey song. Spoilers - that song and artist is not on this list. But this is a great Christmas song with a Wall of Sound motif. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QATvC2oiNY 17. Ray Charles "That Spirit of Christmas" This really stimulates the nostalgia part of your brain. Famously used in Christmas Vacation when Clark was stuck in the attic. A Christmas classic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3z91z2kjAo 16. Men of Worth "Christmas in the Trenches" This duo supplements their income by providing guided tours to Ireland. They did a great job on this song which is about the fabled Christmas 1914 on the front lines of the Great War where the guns stopped and both sides hung out in No Man's Land. Apparently this happened more than just that day as the grind of war really set in. But it's a powerful story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dUHxHiDbUQ 15. Squirrel Nut Zippers "Gift of the Magi" Based on the famous story by O. Henry, this is just a fabulous listen, very folksy and uniquely American. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJrcr-lMbXg 14. "Welcome Christmas (Reprise)" The climax of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, it features nonsense words that somehow have meaning but I can't explain the meaning for sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIFFcRFPi4M 13. Elton John "Ho! Ho! Ho! (Who'd Be A Turkey At Christmas?)" This is the B-side to his smash Christmas hit "Step Into Christmas" but it's often overlooked. You shouldn't sleep on it though. It's basically the Christmas "Bennie and the Jets" and it has that same feel to it. Just an absolute blast to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac97CJQhx5E 12. Smashing Pumpkins "Christmastime" Billy's ode to Christmas always has a soft spot in my Christmas playlist. Recorded during the Adore era, it displays how Billy could create any type of song he wanted with ease back then. This is about the midpoint of his arc of doing no wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmFeg2e5GzI 11. Paul McCartney "Wonderful Christmastime" Love it or hate it, there is no one on Earth who thinks this is just OK. I fall squarely in the love it column. I love clunky old synthesizers though. Regardless of the backing track, this has some great Paul melodies if you can focus on the vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94Ye-3C1FC8

Gilbert Saint Elmo Heron (April 9, 1922 – November 27, 2008) was a Jamaican professional footballer. He was the first Black player to play for the Scottish club Celtic and was the father of poet and musician Gil Scott-Heron.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica to Walter Gilbert Heron and Lucille Gentles, he came from a family of means. He played for St Georges College, a prominent Jamaican high school, and won the Manning Cup and Oliver Shield in 1937 – a statement of island-wide, schoolboy football supremacy. He went on to represent a Caribbean all-star football team and beat Jamaican Olympian Herb McKenley as a schoolboy.
He moved to Canada as a youth and was enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. As well as being a track athlete and a boxer, he played football and broke through during his stay. A center forward, he signed for Detroit Corinthians and the champion Detroit Wolverines, where he was the top goalscorer in the 1946 season of the North American Soccer Football League. He then played for the Chicago Maroons in 1947.
After playing for Chicago Sparta in 1949, he played for Windsor Corinthians in 1950 and was twice selected to all-star teams against the touring England national team. After missing the first match with the Ontario All-Stars on May 24, he recorded an assist for the Essex All-Stars in the June 17 match. Both he and his brother Lee played for the Essex All-Stars.
He went to the English club Kidderminster Harriers before moving back to North America. In 1957, he played for Windsor Corinthians and was again selected to Ontario’s Essex All-Stars to face a touring English team, Tottenham Hotspur, on 22 May.
He married Bobbie Scott, a singer, with whom he had a son. He had three more children with his wife Margaret Frize.
At Celtic, he earned the nicknames “The Black Arrow” and “The Black Flash”. While living in Glasgow, he played cricket with leading local clubs such as Poloc. He became a published poet with one of his works, “The Great Ones”, describing leading players from his time playing football in Scotland. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence
