"I'm not telling you to leave Jake," Ingall chuckled, "We just need to let them know you're with us."

He hesitated for a moment then all but rolled to curl up beside her to wrap his arms around her waist.

"I don't wanna get in trouble." The boy muttered before yawning and putting the pup down, who vanished from the kitsunes sight.

Kit chuckled "Sorry Jake but we still have to tell them."

3 Ships: I literally have an entire armada of ships so it's basically impossible to pick just three. So here are the ones that I've been rereading my favorite fics for lately and that would be Ginny Baker/Mike Lawson (from Pitch AND YES I AM NOW AND FOREVER STILL SALTY ABOUT IT GETTING CANCELED), Darcy Lewis/Bucky Barnes, and Darcy Lewis/Steve Rodgers (look, Darcy is the MCU fandom bicycle, okay? I ship her with just about everyone in the MCU). (I figured it was kind of a given at this point that y'all already know about my brainrot that is my absolute love for Annie's OC, Ronnie Bradshaw & Jake Seresin in all of Annie's fantastic Top Gun: Maverick AUs, so that's why I didn't put them in that list. 😆)

1st Ever Ship: My first ever ship, before I even knew what shipping was, would have to be Laura Ingalls & Almanzo Wilder. I can't tell you how many times pre-teen & early teen me read These Happy Golden Years and wished for an Almanzo of my own. And my crush on Almanzo only grew as I read The First Four Years and later the Rose Wilder series of books about her & her parents (Laura & Almanzo) lives on their Rocky Ridge farm. My first ship once I knew what shipping was, would probably be Ron/Hermonie. I remember wanting Ron & Hermonie to get together in the books pretty quickly, but it really wasn't until HBP that I entertained the thought of Harry/Ginny (I remember being actually pretty bummed for Harry when Cho turned him down for the Yule Ball in GoF).

Last Song: Faeries by Mannheim Steamroller

Last Movie: New In Town - it's one of those movies that I will watch anytime. I can quote along with it and no matter how many times I've seen it, it never fails to make me laugh.

Currently Reading: I'm technically currently listening to the audiobook for The Women With Silver Wings: The Inspiring True Story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II by Katherin Sharp Landdeck. But it's probably been at least a month if not longer since I've listened to a chapter. I blame the copious amounts of fanfiction that I've been consuming lately. 😆 If we're talking fanfiction, I just started rereading Flyboy by @kryptonitejelly and rereading Sugar and Spice by @wombtotombx , along with my annual reread of @themonkeycabal 's Run Verse.

Currently Watching: The newest season of The Crown. I'm only a few episodes in right now.

Currently Consuming: Water and gum.

Currently Craving: Food? Pizza. Sad honesty? A bone crushing hug. I've realized this year that I am extremely touched starved. It took me a few years to realize this because four years ago I was working at a child care center with infants and toddlers, so I got all of the hugs and cuddles I needed all day long from my babies & kiddos at work. But the rest of my family isn't as touchy-feely as I am so I'm always the one that has to initiate any hugs or getting my younger siblings to cuddle with me on the couch while we watch tv or movies. I have become more vocal this year with my family about needing & wanting hugs, but I'm still that one that has to initiate them and they're never as long or as crushing as I want them to be.

生き物には、生死が絡んでくるのは仕方がないこと。

だからと言ってそれを悪い物とか、短所にするのって、人間(動物も)を差別してるよう。

その様は、負の連鎖をも呼び、生き生きとした未来をワザと消しゴムで消しさっている様に感じる。

それじゃ、生きるっていけないことみたい。

Lyraには、生きるって素晴らしいことだと思う。

いろんな事を学び、見て、味わい、経験する事で、人はVirsion Up すると信じているからだ。

人は年月と共に変わる…外見のイメージ・チェンジ然り、内面も自信がついたりする(逆もあり)。

人により様々。

経験した事を全て貯め込み、着飾る者も居れば、中には、悟りを開いて余計なものを削ぎ落とし、自分の欲しいものだけに照準を合わす物もいる。

どちらも素敵な行為だと思う。

Ziz immediately enterlaced her fingers with Seishin's and patted the weepy pixie softly with her other hand, "That great beeeheeehheeaslty shuck with the red eeeeeeyes," Puck cried.

Ingall's eyes shifted to Jacob's. Not used to hearing the boy sound so unsure, or young for that matter, said eyes widened as they took in the boy's change in appearance as well as the wolf pup in his arms. The pup was doing his level best not to call attention to himself.

"cian?" Seishin guessed in surprise, relief from the comfort of their twinning fingers helped ease his aching skull.

Byakko was the first to run over to him with a startled laugh "Y-you're barely bigger than me Jacob!" her eyes drifted to the puppy and she cooed petting it's head as the boy grimaced at her observation with a groaned "I know."

As the other followed suit walking over, Save Tum whom Kit took in her arms "D-did your mama and Mr Wulf have a baby?" Bya asked after a moment of pets a bit confused, she could smell the magic on the pup. "Maybe he's like Roko?" Reiko offered crouching down to look at the two.

"Wha' happened Jake?" The eldest asked a bit weirded out seeing his friend look so young. Jacob exhaled "It's complicated but some stuff happened and Ms Laurel's spell kinda went wrong."

Day 257: Saturday September 14, 2019 - “Maker”

Holy shit-  this is as good as Id hoped it would be; maybe better.  It needs a name.  On Chopped, they always give their dish a fancy name...   My basket here including ingredients I dreamed up myself.... roasted eggplant, green chili queso cheese we got last week in Sonoita, some chicken breast sautéed in Tumeric, some roasted garlic red-sauce, and red peppers from my garden.  I built it with so much intention and creativity.  New Recipes are one thing - but recipes you create yourself have a certain extra level of sentiment...  Tuscany Roasted Rooster Nightshade Salad with buttered black bellas as a side I could imagine myself describing to the judges...and I imagined them entusiastically reacting in about the same way as I dug into my plate.  Damn damn damn- this is good.  Perfect!  Exacltly as I dreamed up the pieces.  Good work Jake!   Three chords and the truth tonight on a Saturday night after a long hard work-out healty day. I refuled the good way - with a new recipe that Id created.

With a full tummy from my excellent creation Id roll to J&E’s house for some Uno and some Gin/Tonic good times,and sitting out talking about contrasting politics over cigar smoke.  It was just a real beautiful day - a Saturday spent here at home, being normal and simple and enjoying the simpler pleasures...while the better angels of my nature tamed that restless spirit that wanted so bad to run after a hard couple weeks but instead I stayed here and experimented with eggplant, got my steps in, connected with friends, and slept sound.  Adventurous days will come but the spirit of September is looking very much like huddling up and staying close to the bones....thats more eveident here, with the photo of the day being my impressive explorations in the kitchen and naming a dish that was authentically mine.   Alone on a Saturday night - Im fine.
