since i wasn’t able to go see motionless in white back in october, i was finally able to remedy that. how, you may ask? well, by buying one of vinny’s drumsticks he used during touring the end of the world, of course! and it arrived today!!

genuinely one of the coolest things i own now. and the fact that it was used by one of my favorite drummers of all time makes it so much better. this is also the second drumstick i have from a band i listen to. the first is from jake bundrick of mayday parade :)

You know, lots of 2000s emo bands wrote absurdly long song names, but no one went quite as hard as Mayday Parade when they released, “You Be the Anchor that Keeps My Feet on the Ground, I’ll Be the Wings that Keep Your Heart in the Clouds.”

That is one song. One. Song. It’s title is a full god damn sentence with two independent clauses.

It’s also twelve words long. Twelve. Words. Long. It takes over half a foot of my computer screen to fit that long of a title. I’m not kidding. I actually measured it. It’s six and a half inches. SIX AND A HALF

I burst out crying as I play Miserable At Best for the 50th time
