I’d put my vote in for Qi Rong and Gu Zi (he’s also like the only good father, don’t come for me) but they’d no doubt lose. BUT Gu Zi would be having the time of his life with his dad, and Qi Rong would be screaming at everyone and bullying them all like a thirteen year old. I honestly think it would be amazing. Like also QR is good at surging so they’d just probably waltz around to find other pairs to make fun of. Poor Gu Zi would probably fail at a lot of the challenges tho. But that’s ok bc QR’s cheering his good cheap son on.

I love how everyone is like yeah no Feng Xin and CuoCuo. But that lil shit went rabid on FX every damn time he laid eyes on him. Unless FX went thru it all with dead eyes and a chewed up hand… (Mu Qing would piss himself laughing) I’m not so confident. (Does it freak anyone else out how it can talk???) It might also start like whispering or singing creepily bc it’s a lil shit like that which would freak at least half of the other son-dad pairings out.

Wei Changze and Wei Wuxian would probably do super well considering ones literally a wonderer and the other a savant but… they’d likely both be like ‘I have the greatest idea ever TM’ and accidentally fuck it up. That and if LWJ’s dad and either LWJ or LXC were involved, he’d notice that the old fart never bothered showing up and then proceed to go try to find him in order to go ape shit.

Imagine them having to do some shit with rope across a ravine and WWX is like I got this and does some magic string shit, leaping off while his father had already thrown a rope across and was actively crossing, so they collide. They fall. But they’re ok. QR is at the top laughing his ass off.

Lan Jingyi and whoever his real dad is (he’s part of the main family but who the hell knows lol). They’d do well, I’d say. Not win or lose. I feel Jinyi would say ‘oh this horrible and Sizhui/Jin Lin/Ouyang Zizhen isn’t here I give up.’ And if his dad is somehow LXC, he’d fully let him.

Idk anything about SVSSS yet

Xie Lian and Xianle King would fail I think. Like take pre->post Xianle fall XL, like he didn’t get along w his dad even in situations where he needed to so I don’t think it’d work out.

Feng Xin and his dad would probably do ok…. I feel like they’d have had a p good relationship but FX wasn’t exactly a good survivor either.

Mu Qing and his dad. His dad was a murderer wasn’t he? Ya think he go trying to kill the competition? MQ would HATE being there already so having to try and control his convict dad probably would make him blow a gasket.

Jaing Cheng and Jaing Feigman. JF, the fuck, would likely keep bringing up WWX and/or also going on and on about his best friend TM Wei Changze which would make JC self astern levels drop to fucking the bottom of the Abyss.

QR and his real dad didn’t have the best relationship either did they? So that’s a no. Same w Hong Hong-er and his dad.
