Saudebaazi
It was 7 on a Monday morning. More than half the city was up, the traffic taking over the mellow atmosphere. Two ladies stood in front of an old house, with one rumbling her pouch trying to find the keys.
"Oho, hurry now will you?" Whispered Sarala.
"Hmm hmm" Damini replied shaking her head, trying to rid her mind of the daze.
Sarala and Damini had spent the night at their friends place, sipped on a little booze and passed out. This had led them to sneak back home this morning, hurrying between rickshaws and buses, avoiding everyone's gaze.
It wasn't easy for them to be out on such adventures. It wasn't easy for two widows. For two 50 year old widows. Especially when they were clad in white from head to toe. They had absently held each other's hands tight while sprinting back home.
The duo had grown up in the same neighborhood. Both being from extremely conservative families, had been married off at very tender ages. Damini was married to Vinayak, a rich bank manager when she was just two, whereas Sarala was married rather sold to an old man Jagadish, by her parents, to clear their debts, at eleven years of age.
Jagadish, lured by the dowry he received began to lament his job, barely turning upto work thrice a week. Spent all the money he had on gambling and alcohol. Within a year of his marriage he was thrown onto the streets. Eventually, lack of money had led to abuse.
It was Diwali, when Damini had rushed to Sarala's house to feed her the sweets she had made when she found her tending to her wounds, broken glass pieces scattered on the floor. She had tiptoed to Sarala, to find a slit on her forearm, dried blood surrounding the wound. The bastard had begun his wrath much before the sun had risen.
"Why can't I have a nice husband...?"
".....I can be your nice husband...." Damini had replied sheepishly.
"Arey, but how-"
"Or maybe I could be your nice wife?"
"......that would be nice." Sarala had said smiling.
Damini's Husband was no better. He would be out for days or sometimes weeks. And when he'd return, so would the abuse. He earned enough to buy ten white elephants, but never bothered to give Damini a penny. When he decided to eat at home, he'd buy the groceries himself, but when he was away Damini would have to make do with the little food Sarala managed to sneak to her everyday.
Both the girls, barely teenagers, spent most of their time together. They would tie gajras for each other, exchange anklets, braid each other's hair and apply henna on each other's hands and feet.
Jagadeesh's drinking eventually backfired, the man could barely pass a minute without breaking into a coughing fit. All Sarala had to do was sit back and watch him swallow the poison everyday, and within a few months, hopefully, he'd be gone.
One very fine day, when Vinayak returned home with a chicken in hand, Damini had accidentally dropped a chicken bone in the broth which he managed to choke on, while Damini had coincidentally left to fetch water from the well. Poor lad, choked on his food, struggled to breath and died.
Sarala and Damini were now widows, at the age of just seventeen. It was good riddance.
After all they had good company ;)

[5/19, 6:51 PM] Jagadeesh Krishnan: VIVEKANANDA DESTROYED THE WHOLE BEAUTY OF RAMAKRISHNA
Vivekananda was an ordinary intellectual, not even of the caliber of Ouspensky, but he made Ramakrishna world famous. Ramakrishna died very early, that's why Vivekananda and Ramakrishna never parted; otherwise the parting was absolutely certain.
But Ramakrishna died and Vivekananda became his whole and sole representative.
He dominated all the followers, he dominated the whole movement; he became for them the representative of Ramakrishna. If Ramakrishna had lived, the same thing would have happened sooner or later because Vivekananda was just head and nothing else, nothing of the heart. Even if he talks about the heart it is just head-talk, the head talking about the heart, it is not heart-full. There is no LOVE in it, there is no MEDITATION in it, there is no PRAYER in it, just INTELLECTUAL ANALYSIS. He knew the scriptures and he forced HIS IDEAS ON Ramakrishna's ideas. And Ramakrishna had died so there was nobody to say no to it.
Vivekananda destroyed the whole beauty of Ramakrishna. But that was going to happen because Ramakrishna was not a man of the head at all.
But this has not always been the case. Buddha never depended on anybody else. He was capable of moving from mind to no-mind, from no-mind to mind; that is his greatness. That is a far greater achievement than that of Gurdjieff or Ramakrishna because their achievements are in a way limited.
Buddha is very liquid; he is not solid like a rock, he is more fluid - like a river.
So was the case with Lao Tzu: he never depended on anybody else, he said whatever he had to say.
He said it himself, and as beautifully as it could be said. And their philosophies are bound to be far more pure because they come from the original man, they come from the original realization, from the very source; there is no
VIA MEDIA. So is the case with Zarathustra, Krishna, Mahavira.

[5/19, 6:53 PM] Jagadeesh Krishnan:

Enjoying Movement Activities with my Nephew
In December 2022, my teacher, I started recording some Ramana movement activities for parents to do with children. I demonstrated these activities in lessons by Sri Ujwal Jagadeesh of the Ramana Maharshi Center for Learning (RMLC). I became interested in these activities because I could do it with my nephew. Even when my nephew, Ishaan, was only a few months old, he would sit on my mother’s lap…

Mohanlal, Chiyaan Vikram, and Shiva Rajkumar are a part of Tovino Thomas starrer ARM; deets inside
Tovino Thomas, whose name has been synonymous with Minnal Murali, will play three different characters for the first time in the fantasy action-adventure drama ARM: Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan. While the film is set to be released in multiple languages across India on Thursday, the makers have announced a special update revealing that superstars Mohanlal, Chiyaan Vikram, and Shiva Rajkumar will appear in this pan-India entertainer.
The directors have announced that Malayalam Megastar Mohanlal has provided his legendary voice to the film as the Cosmic Creator, who performs the role of a 'Sutradhar' or narrator. Chiyaan Vikram, who voiced the Tamil version, and Karunada Chakravarthy Shiva Rajkumar, who voiced the Kannada version, play the same character.
"Their iconic voices have brought a whole new dimension to the film, giving it a substantial lift in a movie that already promised a visual feast on the big screen in 3D. "The film promises the perfect blend of action, emotion, and a fantasy element," said a source close to the project. The film stars Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi as the female leads, and it also features an ensemble supporting cast that includes Basil Joseph, Jagadeesh, Harish Uthaman, Harish Peradi, Kabir Singh, Pramod Shetty, and Rohini.
Sujith Nambiar wrote the screenplay and story, while Jomon T. John handled cinematography, Shameer Muhammed edited, and Praveen Verma did the costumes. Meanwhile, Dibu Nainan Thomas composed the soundtrack and Manu Manjith wrote the lyrics. Vikram More and Phoenix Prabhu choreographed the intense battle sequences.
ARM, directed by newbie Jitin Lal and produced by Listin Stephen under the brands Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, and starring Dr. Zakaria Thomas, is being made entirely in 3D and is one of the most expensive films in Malayalam cinema history. The film will be distributed by prominent industry players, with Hombale Films managing the Kannada release, Mythri Movie Distributors for Telugu, and Anil Thadani for Hindi, when it opens internationally on September 12.

For the elemental writer's asks, I was having a hard time narrowing down from these six which to ask you, so feel free to pick the ones that you want and ignore the rest!
Water: How did you start writing?
Fire: What’s a scene that you are dying to write?
Rock: How do you deal with writer’s block?
Spirit: What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received on your writing?
Psionics: How do you get into the heads of your characters?
Winter: Have you ever written a story based on a holiday? If yes, which holiday was it for and what was it like?
Water: How did you start writing?
I remember the first fics I ever wrote were self-insert Om Shanti Om fics where I was Shanti's daughter/niece/little sister who was a super secret spy, from ages 8-10. Thankfully these were the first fics I ever wrote (by hand, in diaries) and not the first ones I ever published.
Fire: What’s a scene that you are dying to write?
A sequel to my original fic with Jagadeesh/Elias (can't remember the title) where their marriage goes from comfortable friendship to love.
Rock: How do you deal with writer’s block?
*Glances at the Google Docs that haven't been touched in months*
Spirit: What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received on your writing?
One of the best was getting (unrequested!) artwork of one of my (original!!) stories from you!
Psionics: How do you get into the heads of your characters?
Hmm, I'm not really sure? Like if I can get into a character's head, I can get into it, and if I can't, I can't. Like I can't force myself to empathize with a character (although I have a couple of characters whom I'm trying to understand by following people who do like them and post fics/metas about them).
Winter: Have you ever written a story based on a holiday? If yes, which holiday was it for and what was it like?
Shout-out to that Tudors fic I wrote for Christmas about the last Christmas all three Tudor siblings spent together, and it ended in tears and shouting over their different religions.

Love is the GOD, Lust is the TEMPLE Dr. P. S. Jagadeesh Kumar A very long time ago, I had a conversation with the Work Crush regarding beauty. It was about architecture, but also not. We agreed that beauty is an invitation, it inspires that split second decision to look a little closer. It’s that looking closer that makes the difference. It is said that our body can
It is said that our body can overcome the disease bacteria to a great extent and become disease-free. There is another treatment system in India which shows a lot of innovation and which we know as Tantra Science in which amulets and some mantra powers are used where the treatment is done only by substances like flowers and some roots. The surprising thing is that many diseases are cured by this treatment only. Does the disease really get cured by the power of Tantra?
What is the science behind Tantra?
Tantra is the science and study of energy and there are countless different types of energy in the universe that can be controlled and utilized for spiritual gains. For every universal energy that exists there are various tantric rituals that train solely with that energy.

This paper discusses the healing practices of samayācāra Śrīvidyā, a Hindu Tantric tradition. This study is based on field research conducted in the Śrī Lalitāmbikā temple in Coimbatore, India. The tradition not only advocates inner ritualism, but also focuses on healing practices derived from Tantric sources. By using both emic and etic approaches, this paper attempts to show how the rituals and Śrīvidyā meditative practices became incorporated into this system of healing and well-being. A further aim of this paper is to indicate how various forms of embodiment and healing define the spiritual practice of Lalitāmbikā Śrīvidyā.
Keywords: Śrīvidyā; Tantra; healing; embodied knowledge; experience
Śrīvidyā is a Hindu esoteric (Tantric) tradition centered on the worship of the goddess Tripurasundarī, and her arcane diagram Śrīcakra, which is believed to represent powers of the universe. The main aim of this study is to indicate how the Tantric rituals and meditations of Śrīvidyā have been integrated into the system taught at the Śrī Lalitāmbikā temple, also known as the Samayācāra Śrīvidyā Healing and Wellbeing Centre.
In his study on African religions, Janzen (1992) observes that the distinction between religion and healing is irrelevant from the perspective of the followers of the African cults. Thus, “by entering African religious and therapeutic expression through its own language” Janzen tries to investigate the meaning of healing practices in the context of the tradition.1 Similarly, this study here presents Tantric practitioners’ views on and definitions of spiritual therapeutics to show the close connections between religion, ritual activity, health, and illness. Hence, this paper argues that the inner ritualism of Tantra and health matters are inextricably interwoven.
This paper focuses on the healing practices2 of Śrīvidyā and shows how external rites (bāhya pūjās) have been internalized in the samayācāra lineage of this tradition. Tantric healing consists primarily of invoking selected deities to one’s body, blocking or disintegrating negative energies with the power of mantras, and transforming “self-awareness, hitherto confined within the body, to the cosmic awareness that embraces the totality” (Timalsina 2012b). In what follows, I intend to contextualize Tantric healing practices by applying an emic perspective to a living tradition of Śrīvidyā. This study is based on participant observations of the rituals of Śrīvidyā Samayācāra of the Śrī Lalitāmbikā temple in Coimbatore, India. Joining the community and participating in their religious activities—that is, engaging in active participation (Spradley 1980, p. 62)—allowed me to simultaneously observe and experience the documented practices. This insider’s perspective on the rites is compared with Śrīvidyā ritualism introduced in the authoritative scriptures of this tradition. Thus, this study addresses the lack of ethnographically informed perspectives on Tantric traditions, while comparing the ethnographic data with orthopraxis known from textual sources.
I don't know whether neem therapy and tantra therapy, homeo ayurveda are just another branch of allopathy or not
