While waiting for the new song and MV this one got my attention today. I love the soft sound,his voice, and the lyrics. Omar har co-written it and it’s feels personal and has such a vulnerable lyrics. That fragile state when you first meet someone and don’t really know what it will lead to. The other person is all that’s matter but also not fully secure about it. The lyrics hinting that the love is a new type of love for the other person also making it even more fragile and vulnerable. Will the other person dare? And keeping it low key to make the other one feel safe.

In this series of polls Omar's songs will go head to head in a bracket style tournament until an ultimate winner is decided. All polls will be tagged #omar rudberg song contest and will be posted every other day on my blog.

I plan on posting each poll at 4pm EST and then reposting at 10am EST and again an hour before voting closes (3pm EST) so that everyone can get a reminder to vote before the 24 hour voting period closes.

Happy one month anniversary to May 11th 2024 aka videogate day* and the reactions from the fandom.

People were upset but understanding, sad but supportive.

Me? Not supportive. Not understanding.

I was standing in the cleaning supplies aisle of my local drugstore scream-whispering to my bestie about his hair.

Fans hypothesized that Red Light marked a new era for him and maybe he didn’t identify with his older mv anymore. Maybe in the course of reinventing himself he needed to shed his past and we had to accept that.

Well, I’m here to tell you that I was not that girl. I was this girl ⬇️

Don’t take the stuff I love!! Please, I can’t take it.

My outburst also prompted one of the most hilarious text messages I have ever received.

I’m so glad that after all these years I can still surprise my bestie. It’s priceless.

And thanks for giving ’em back Omar. Don’t ever do that again.

1. Dum his voice is just beautiful in this one. And I love him in Swedish.

2 Jag e nån annan again a desp swedish song. They have me in a chokehold.

I’d love to hear some of his old singles (Dum, Läppar, Que Pasa, La Mesa, Jag e nån annan) among the newer stuff.

I don’t think he’ll do those though and expect him to mostly stick to his newest singles (2023-2024 releases), OMR, Todo De Ti, Yo Dije OUFF, possibly Simon’s Song because that’s a crowd pleaser for sure.
