Your ears perk when you hear the whispers, and it startles you a bit when Signless picks you up, but you relax and let him. When he sets you down and his much warmer hand covers your mouth, your long ears drop back and down as you back yourself against him. Sure coming here is dangerous, but you are not a stupid girl. You are silent and still, your jade eyes are the only movement from you as your eyes follow the trolls passing by. The gravity of this situation fully hits you.

When he finally speaks, you look up at him and swallow the lump of fear in your throat.

“I.. was looking for you.” You whisper, your voice barely audible.”I brought supplies.. I wanna help.”

“Now isn’t ideal, we’re not safe here.”

Signless showed a bit of annoyance from this reckless behavior, but once he moves away from them he lets out a sigh. Taking a deep breath to calm his own nerves from how shaken up he still is. He lowers the scarf the conceals most of his features so he could be heard by them more and kneels down to their position. 

“How quiet can you be? I’ll lead us somewhere safer   where we can discuss.”

The hero, blinks his eyes once more and sighs. Of course she’s innately very aggressive in an unfamiliar area. It doesn’t surprise him that she doesn’t recognize him, he recalls having shown her a newpaper image of himself. One such image was of his hero alter ego though. The Phoenix. Yes, that is who he is. Not that he’d currently introduce himself as such.

“Yagi, I’m Yagi,” he responds with, “Sorry for staring, you just kind of startled everyone here, myself included.” A cat is resting in his lap, curled up in a ball, so he isn’t exactly in any hurry to stand up. It would be rude to knock over the smaller hero after all. “Um. Are you alright?”

Presently... 

You’ve been talking things over in the early evening with the Old Man, watching the sun go down over the ocean with some strong coffee and the relatively quiet company of his garden and the sea. Meumix is still asleep in her bubbles, but after talking with K over your twisted emotions and... what happened back then, he understands you a little more, and you’ve found that you’ve bonded much closer to him in an unexpectedly different way. You prefer this way, you think, as you sip more of your coffee. The sun continues to set along the horizon, bringing with it a lavender tinge and fuchsia skies. 

Some messages were exchanged with Marnie over ims during this time, and after having a shared breakfast, you finally excuse yourself from company, bidding goodbye to an odd alternate version, you suppose, of yourself in a way. It’s been a rough couple of days, but the talk he had with you (difficult as it was) helped, and it seemed like Marnie needed a good hearduct pointed in her direction at the moment. 

Maybe, you figure, you can pass along to Marnie a favor of support, being gravid and all. The subject makes you a bit uncomfortable since your biology doesn’t do that, but you’re... open. You freshen up at home, foregoing paint for a more "casual" and “natural” look considering your recent meltdowns over Church related themes... strong foundation, smoked out eyeliner, darker contour to emphasize your cheekbones and the hollows of your ganderbulbs. Brows quickly filled, mascara, a matte lip... That general shit. Was it an actual natural look? By your standards, mostly yes. Your curls bounce back to life, easily.

You message her to come on by whenever she's ready while straightening the main room up, opting to wait on her drink and snack preferences when she arrives.
