Jacub Gagnon's surreal art seems to possess a slight aura of sadness that is still balanced with a touch of whimsy. Humanity's inclination to make nature bend to our whim can be seen in the pickle that these critters find themselves in. His decorative avian jewels - so remarkably obedient - seem to patiently wait until we give them the "okay" to stop entertaining us with their beauty (so that they may return back to their own families in the evening). Art is clearly open to interpretation. Here a full image of “Guaranteed Fast” for EPHEMERAL, @beautifulbizarremagazine’s curates group show at @moderneden. I wish I could have been in San Francisco last night for the opening!
