I do feel bad that 18 blogs, probably back-to-back, was from the same group...
But then again we have to keep in touch with our fans.

Legends of the Summer
I never knew what to expect from Jay-Z band because of how electronic it sound and I was expecting a prerecorded track was going to played in the background, but like a lot of thing I was wrong. Jay-Z’s live band brought Rock and Roll back. It felt like I actually watch a true rock star perform. I notice that when Jay-Z was stage the back visually disappeared into the darkness and could only see them occasionally. While Justin Timberlake was performing the band was more noticeable and choreographed and where into it. The band was calmer and in sync compared to the rock star quality that Jay-Z had during his performance. The live band while Justin was performing had more time to be highlighted during his performance than Jay-Z, on the other had Jay-Z has to command the stage with being overpowered. He accomplished that with having all the lights on stage point to him, interacting with the audience and getting the attention with doing songs that not only Hip Hop/Rap listeners know, but also doing Top 40 hits that just about everyone knows and could sing along. While they were both on stage the band was not the focus but the way JT and JZ feed off of each others energy. One of the legendary concert of this summer.
