Being a ghost is sometimes lonely. 

Deku has realized that people with super - natural features or abilities can see him, though. Like werewolves. It’s not always immediately apparent to him that they are such, and so he is sometimes resigned to the fact that what they see may be a blip on their radar. An accidental peripheral seeing, maybe even a whisper on the wind’s back. Not really seeing him - &. that’s alright. He had always been prepared to disappear without a second thought. Any important things he had were safely in the trunk of his vehicle, just in case he needed to make a quick exit. After all, he'd made a lot of enemies over the years. Any one of them could hunt him down — but he never thought he would be running for another reason. If this was how she died she would rather it be by Jacob's hand than someone else's. A man that she fell in love with as she stood before him, staring and searching into his eyes to find an answer. She didn't show him any fear, just love and sadness in the mixture. His words did come as a surprise as she slowly nodded her head. ❝ Then let's leave now. �� She stated as she closed the gap between them, resting her hand on his face. ❝ I have no reason to look back. ❞

San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner and their lists of panels and autographs booths are just rolling out. So far on the Anne Rice Immortal Universe front is the announcement of a booth.

Shake, shake, sorry, quake. Quaking Aspen leaves are somewhat heart shaped (work with us), with finely saw-toothed margins and range in size from 1.25-3” (3-8 cm) long. The leaves attach to branches via a long and flattened petiole, so that even the slightest breeze causes the leaves to flutter. Nice, err, neat! This gives the overall tree the appearance that it is quaking or trembling - hence the common name Quaking Aspen (it’s all coming together) and the scientific name’s specific epithet - tremuloides.
