Okay, this low key explains my obsession with Jackson x Lisa. Cause I remember watching "Killing Me Softly" right after "Red Eye" 2005 (my memory mixed these movies up for some reason) and cringing from the fact that the characters are having sex when the movie barely started. I was like "that's so boring! where is the tension?"

It's not about them kissing...

It's about them wanting to kiss.

It's about them having this powerful thirst for the other that could never be satisfied.

It's about seeing their deepest fears and desires reflected in each other's eyes and having to face them.

It's about the possibility of falling into temptation and being redeemed.

It's about them wanting to devour each other but be condemned to starve.

It's about the possibility of a future together that will never come to pass.

It's not about them getting together.

It's about the pain of knowing they never will.
