I was also able to finally make refs for other key characters! Devi and Nancy are married, I am trying not to elaborate further lmao

Yesterday is Almost Here (2024): With Friends Like These

The “outside the box” 2024 film Yesterday is Almost Here feels like a cinematic reference to an old bon mot. “With friends like these, who needs enemies.” I will be up front here, there was not one likeable character in the entire film. There were, however, some darned good performances and a script that left so many things unanswered. The tale itself does something that not many films do…

Thanks for doing the ask game with me :D 38. Do they care about the taste of blood? Lucas: Absolutely. If it isn't from a living breathing human he'll likely retch it up. Usually the people he feeds from are fans of his twitch/youtube channel that he's built a herd out of. Usually people very happy to spend time with him. We don't care about resonance in game, but if we did he'd have a preference for Sanguine blood.

Marcello: So Marcello is actually an Organovore. He is the Medical Examiner for Spokane County and has had reign over the coroner's office for 30 years. Often the organs/flesh he consumes is at least a day or two old, if not older. The taste is... Not fantastic. But it's a secure way of getting food and better than being ashed trying to kill living people. He doesn't really care about the taste, but the presentation he does. Marcello likes to maintain a sense of pride and refinement, usually preparing the flesh so it's on a plate, eating with a knife and fork, etc.

Jackie: As long as the blood is from a Kindrid he could care less.

Jackie Kennedy was pregnant during JFK’s election campaign, and therefore limited her public appearances. Even though the whole Kennedy clan famously campaigned for him with huge success, JFK had one family member in particular he preferred to “send in” when polls were extremely close: Joan Kennedy. Jackie was pregnant during much of the campaign. It was always Ethel who wanted to step in, but it was Joan that Jack preferred. If there was ever anyone who knew the importance of image, it was John F. Kennedy. He knew pretty, unassuming, bubbly Joan was a sure-fire hit. And he was right.

After the election, then-president JFK wrote to Joan, saying “We couldn’t have won without you.” - John F. Kennedy to sister-in-law Joan.

It may seem like a small, insignificant thing for the President to say, but Joan was CONSTANTLY feeling left out, insecure, unappreciated, or all of the above. JFK’s praise of her was a sorely needed affirmation. She later said it was the only time she ever felt like she “held her own” with the Kennedys. It’s worth mentioning also that Joan deeply loved Jackie as well, and gravitated to her like an older sister… a very special relationship.
