My take on this picture is that they probably had two scenes that were meant to mirror eachother and show how Furiosa grows to trust Jack. This is the first time she had a nightmare, shortly after she joined him. And the scene that we got in the movie takes place some time later in the story, to show passage of time. Furiosa looks extremely vulnerable in the second picture and it seems like Jack is supposed to say something to her (the mic)
