somewhat obsessed with the idea of wearing rick’s boxers.
it’s like second nature to you. it has to be.
after every time you slid into bed, every time rick and daryl strip you of your own undergarments, every time they fuck you dumb, everytime rick maneuvers you into your position bundled against his chest, you’re wearing a pair of his boxers.
the two had been surprised at first when they found you face down on the bed after a long day in nothing but a tiny tank top and rick’s blue and white striped boxers.
it took everything in them not to pounce on you right then and there. but when you woke up, you were more than happy to fess up to stealing rick’s boxers to wear as shorts.
rick could barely contain himself one afternoon in alexandria. you were taking judith on a wholesome stroll but you were wearing a pair of pale blue boxer shorts with a soft, white long sleeve and one of rick’s white button ups thrown on. later, he had to explain to you that he wasn’t snubbing you when you caught sight of him and tried to wave him over, just trying to keep his zipper from busting.
you had just laughed and quipped that they were the perfect bottoms.
from then on, rick found his boxer shorts going missing; on runs, he’d found you in the men’s underwear section, stripping down to try on a pair of striped ralph lauren boxers. that’s how the two of you ended up sweating and shamelessly blushed out on the cramped car ride home.
the rose painting your countenance couldn’t cease because you knew you smelled like sex. rick too. from the creamy ring you’d left around his cock as he lifted you off of him and onto the mahogany sales table, you knew you two had overdone it. with the wide block of time you had today to secure supplies, rick felt free to fuck your pussy twice, filling you up enough to have you seen stars on the sales floor.
all because you’d styled his underwear as shorts.
daryl teases his friend about it.
“can’t even wake up without seein’ her in ‘em and gettin’ hard.”
daryl’s a hypocrite however.
even the woodsman isn’t immune to your figure in those boyish bottoms.
it’s twenty-five minutes into your small game hunt when daryl’s hands are in your boxers. you had actually wanted to catch a rabbit or some quail, but once your boyfriend’s fingers are between your folds, you can’t find the will to complain.
the two of you start with him holding you against a hemlock, arms wrapping around you while he fingers you nice and slow, boxers down around your ankles. as he massages your plush walls, daryl counts how casual you are about going commando as one of his blessings.
then it turns. then suddenly there’s a pine needle in your mouth. you spit the green thing out and try to brace yourself against the forest floor. it had happened so fast; his tongue tag teaming you with his fingers to crack you open like a safe in record time. then you were face down with nothing but a denim jacket quickly strewn beneath you.
you love when he or rick spring this kinda thing on you - it’s spontaneous, wild, a little risky in all the right ways. yes, most nights you’d prefer to be rolled up into a blanket burrito with your boys and a glass of wine but the adventures like this really do something for you.
pupils expanded, your chest is heavy when daryl’s the first to come out of your post-romp fog and collect your boxers. your legs are still shaking when the fabric touches your skin.
“daryl!”
you’d protested when the man began to pull up your boxer briefs. full of his cum, you want to clean up before you soil your bottoms but daryl disregards the swats to his hands. slightly annoyed, you hurried ahead of him through the tract of woods back towards alexandria. it’s fine. he just enjoyed the view of your ass.
complaints crawl out of your mouth as soon as you’re in the door and you’re haphazardly hanging your rifle on the wall. daryl brings in the rear behind you while you’re stomping up the stairs to rick.
your chocolate curled lover is taking off his watch, ready to drop it into the ceramic dish on the dresser when you appear next him, shimmying down your bottoms in a huff.
“hey, darlin’,” he greets, expecting more than a scowl from you.
“hey,” you reply curtly, face still in a pout.
“-make sure you don’t take off those boxers, baby-,” daryl stops dead in his tracks at the sight of your bared pussy in the bedroom lamplight. rick’s also taking it in, eyes trailing from your waist to the trimmed bush, and the puffy pink pussy peeking out, now leaking with daryl’s sticky cum.
you bend over to pick up the soiled shorts. “you’re not the only one who likes these,” you point out.
blue eyes narrow. but before he can give you any lip, you’re giving him not one, but both of yours. smashed against your mouth, rick’s tongue delves between those pillowy lips while walking you towards the bed where daryl’s waiting to situate you on his lap once more. daryl’s antics weren’t enough to turn off the blazing furnace between your legs. no, your temper can handle a few more rounds. it’s not hard when your mind paces back to the eye rolling, all consuming inferno that had cyclones through your core.
they trap you in a kiss. sandwiched between both of their hard ons, you’re shifting and grinding in each direction.
“thought you were pissed off with me,” daryl breathes into your ear, fingertips skimming your waist.
you snort, leaning back into him to grant full access to your bared neck. without hesitation, he’s licking a wicked pattern up the column of your neck. “dare’,” you sigh. gasp after gasp, you melt into his touch.
daryl’s hands are beneath the fat of your rear already and all of the sudden, one of rick’s fingers has snaked its way down to your clit. the fervid flicking against your ardor flush tissue culls any anger you could have towards the two men. you can’t even think about holding a grudge once rick gets a finger into you. at two fingers, daryl’s kissing you with the ferocity of a wildfire. three fingers inside of you and you’re babbling;
“rick, faster, please.”
“what was that?”
“please - faster, can you please?”
the grin on his face is as wide as the pacific. his lips turn upwards into a sly smile. “you want somethin’ a little faster, darlin’?” you shake your head as if it’s obvious. he hmmphs. “you oughta’ sit on daryl’s cock.”
you can’t imagine a world where that’s an unpopular idea.
back onto daryl you go.
those hands at your hips come in handy; daryl raises you a few inches once rick’s removed his fingers. eyes focused on rick and the way his mouth closes around one pruning finger. sucking it clean while daryl’s tip brushes your slick entrance. any yearning radiating off of you can’t be hidden. that kind of heat and wetness down between your thighs is no lie.
so a hiss is to be expected when the muscled man wiggles his way into you. rick is saving a mental image of you - adjusting to the familiar stretch of daryl. your blush doesn’t ease once daryl works another half inch inside.
one moment you’re trying to process daryl’s cock as it’s suddenly seated in you to the hilt. the next rick catches your gaze again. this time he’s doing more than teasing you, taking advantage of your parted lips to invade with his tongue.
“rick,” you mumble against his lips.
“you gettin’ close, angel?”
“should feel ‘er,” daryl rasps. with each thrust of his you’re clinging to rick. “so fuckin’ tight like you didn’t get this perfect pussy fucked in the woods.”
“that’s where you guys went?”
your mischevious grin is hidden in the crook of rick’s necks. the telltale tightening around daryl’s length is all consuming. your grin turns into an open “o” shape when daryl drags across your cervix. sensations from your convulsing core are consuming him too.
that same lust from the woods washes over daryl like the tide and you’re the moon, pulling him in and leading him to crash into you. usually this is rick’s wheelhouse, but one glance into daryl’s darkened pupils and you’re ripped from rick. on top of daryl’s lap, you’re wrapped in his arms, bouncing up and down on the rock hard cock beneath you. he sets the pace while you can only claw at his chest. he returns the favor and reaches forward to palm your tit, relishing in your sweet moans when he rolls a hardened bud between two fingers.
riding him on the bed is such a break for your knees compared to the forest floor. gyrating your hips activates not only the core that keeps you fit but the molten hot bundle of nerves at your core. daryl ruts against you deliciously to deliver just the perfect level of pressure.
rick can’t help but be bewitched at everything unfolding on the surface of the mattress. daryl’s length disappears inside out of you, reappearing with each erratic movement of your hips. there’s no reason to be jealous but if looks could kill, daryl’d be dead simply for the privilege of burying himself inside those heavenly walls.
meanwhile, heat bursts down below like a mini neutron star collision within you. forehead cast with sweat, the energy is fading from your movements as you messily move your pelvis to brush against daryl.
a “fuck, baby,” escapes from his lips and you’re done for. and so is he.
shooting into the sheets and collapsing by your side. you’re prepared to slide into daryl’s embrace when there’s suddenly a familiar feeling breaching your bared pussy.
nails dig into your hips and daryl’s back at it again - lapping his tongue up and down your slit. you were thinking that you two would at least catch your breaths but daryl’s taking no breaks. rick isn’t either.
in true rick fashion, he’s tapping your lips with his impressive cock. how can you say no to that?
you open your mouth and moan around his cock once you feel those devious fingers in your hair. it’s like that sense of overwhelm’s been replicated again. tongue against your clit and yours on the underside of rick, you never imagined your afternoon going this way. all this thanks to your little fashion trend.
“princess, your mouth feels amazing.”
you bob your head in appreciation. just like daryl’s taking care of you, you’re taking your time swallowing around the man in your mouth, treating him to the tight embrace of your throat.
“you like gettin’ a cock down your throat while daryl licks you stupid?”
“mhmmm!” you nod forward onto rick.
as soon as your moans reach daryl’s ears, his tongue’s kicking into hyperdrive. goaded by your delightful little whimpers, daryl begins swabbing a vicious pattern across your folds. the redneck alternates between racing over your sopping tissue to flattening that tongue and saddle you with a finger.
“ooommph,” is the only sound that comes out with rick’s steel hard cock down your throat.
spit slick, rick throbs in your mouth. that painful hardness he’s enduring is granted some sweet relief by your hollowed cheeks. you don’t stop there. driven by the lust addled, cock crazy part of your brain, you’re fully sending rick down your airway. breaths come briefly when he lets you up for air or to howl or cry, “dare’!”
right on time, your core is heating up again. the kiln inside of you scorches. neutralizing you, the ecstasy of another orgasm has you nearly folding into your leader. the blue eyed sheriff even leans back, tugging you up by the hair to keep you from actually choking on his cock. daryl’s diligent puckering around all of your important parts is overwhelming you against, a strategic hand on your clit as well.
as if you were all in sync, rick comes in your mouth first, fingers weaving through your gossamer locks while your thighs quake. you gag at first, before swirling your tongue under the twitching cock and swallowing it all. like a good girl.
once rick’s coming undone, daryl continues swirling his tongue around you. your pussy weeps for him. it contracts around his tongue until even rick’s raising his eyebrows at the vulgar slurping sounds filling the room.
“dare’,” you whine.
“gonna’ be a good girl and come all over dare’s tongue?” rick teases.
“yes, please!” you beg, banging a fist against the sheets.
“you gonna’ let daryl taste all of that perfect pussy?”
tears well in your eyes from the overstimulation but you nod as enthusiastically as possible. “pleeaase!”
you don’t have to ask again because you’re too busy arching into your third orgasm of the day. clenching and unclenching, your insides flutter. “ah!”
“so pretty when you come, baby.”
you’re dissolving into rick’s touch as your climax rings through your cunt. starry eyed and panting the pleasure out through your lungs.
you could fall asleep right there. and you do.
it ends as it always does.
following the flush and the lips leaving the surface of your skin, you feel a familiar fabric traveling up your thighs and double kisses mandating that nap that had been on your mind. the bed and the cozy comfort of sleep swallows you whole. rick too. he can never get close enough, not when you’re wearing his boxers.

Meet new sewing pattern <Komugi> Over shirt
A new item is just published from Waffle Patterns. Meet Over shirt <Komugi> sewing pattern, a work wear style over shirt with many functional pockets. Depending on your fabric and design choice, it will be a work shirt, uniform-like service shirt or outdoor style shirt jacket. You can make just a simple shirt as well.
<design options>
View A features a hidden button stand front opening + patch side pockets + an inside pocket. The patch side pockets are 2 types ; side opening or layered type. The cuff is no-opening design.
View B has a normal button stand + seam pocket + back bent and cuff opening.
The chest pocket design has 2 options, layer type or zipper pocket.
View A is intended as non-scratch design suitable for a work shirt especially if you are working on fragile things. View B can be made as a more outdoor-like shirt jacket with details like cuff openings or a vent. But of course you can choose and mix the options as you like!
The khaki sample in the photos features viewA, and the red plaid one is view B. The caramel brown one has mixed features.
My favourite feature is the sleeve patches. Adding compliment textures/colours is really fun! But you can sew without them, too.
Please make your creative style by mixing your favourite details.
<fabric recommendation>
The pattern is drafted for woven fabrics. Light-medium weight durable shirt fabrics are recommended. like corduroy, duck, twill, denim, linen, flannel, light wool or canvas etc.
It is not impossible to use very light drapery fabric, but those are not suitable for some details like patch pockets or vent.
Also, some very thick/stiff fabrics might not work well for details like pockets with facing. In that case, please consider using other lighter fabrics partly like the inside yoke, facing, or pocket parts.
Please choose a suitable one for your design intension.
For the caramel brown sample in the photos, I used cotton canvas. Suitable for work shirts and very easy to handle. The contrast fabric used for the sleeve patch and pocket layer is faux suede.
If you want very durable patches, leather or rubber-mixed fabrics are used for professional work apparel. But for general daily usage, like mine, design oriented choice like nice compliment colours or textures will be enough. Using leftover or old clothes is a fun choice, too.
The khaki sample is cotton ripstop. This one is also very suitable for work wear. The patch part is mixed twill.
The red plaid one is light wool backed fleece. I backed all the pieces with fleece except the folded parts like pocket openings or hem.
I bought all those fabrics from my local fabric market, but most of them are from years ago. I wanted to share where I bought them, but I actually forgot all.
I think light water repellent or windproof fabrics are nice functional options, too.
<Size>
The shirt is drafted regular fit.
I made on size bigger the red plaid sample because I wanted to wear this as a jacket. Also because the fabric gets thicker with fleece backing.
The caramel brown and khaki samples were made with just fit size.
<Other material>
If you attach the hidden button stand design, it is better to use flat and thin buttons for clean look opening.

- LOVE KRASH
EG0 DE@TH; CH. 1 “CHERUB MUTULATION .”
Gotham City was electricity, captured and held together by wires that entangled each other perpetually, filled with an everlasting buzz. The buzz you’d hear in the flickering street neon lights and signs. Buzz you’d see in the grainy holograms above buildings that dominated the sky; ridiculing stars for kids who’d beg for a wish; A buzz you’d find in the Gothamites that were charged in the wired world of Gotham City.
Your buzz made your skin prickle while you waited for that green light to go red. Stuck in a field of organic mass, rapidly tapping your feet against the wet ground, tightly grabbing your jacket. Eyes flicked to the cars then returned to the traffic light routinely for seconds that felt too long.
A man, wired with too much of what he could take, plucked himself from the membrane and departed towards the bustling street. Halfway down the boulevard a driver glued to their phone stomped on their breaks and swerved their car, too damn late though. The man attempting to cross the street slammed into the car windshield, you flinched and turned away, only hearing the sickening sound of metal. You couldn’t keep your eyes closed too long though, bodies disjoined from the cluster, rushing forward and past the spectacle.
You too cross the street, passing by the scene where two women argued about the cars, the man lies motionless in a murky puddle, cradling his skull. The cars behind the event generously applauded accordingly, an amazing finale to end the night.
Chance and tragedy interlink as much as good and bad luck do. So taking both as what they are, an opportunity, will always be in your favor. Well, at least in Gotham City it is.
Slugging your way down the next block, a heavy backpack clings to your back as you pass by people. Gang members, fathers, drug dealers, groups of friends, working ladies, and mothers, what made them all different was aught and naught. *Clink!* A paramedic lift shot behind you, hovering above the car wreck. First responders dropped down from the lift, you couldn’t see any more than that from the mob behind you.
Your body slams into something. “What the fuck?” A blonde, the type that’d make someone think they saw an angel, stared down at you with a look that was anything but holy. “Watch where you’re fucking going.” She shoved herself past you, her head flicking back toward her phone. *Clink, Clink!*
You let out a shaky breath and continued down the block, turning into a familiar quiet alleyway. The fidgeting of your jacket zipper got more pronounced as you faded from the beehive behind you; echoing off the musty brick walls, *Clink, Clink, Clink!* The tranquility was short-lived when you got to the litter-strewn back staircase of Gotham City Public Library or as you just called it ‘A Mouthful’.
You silently reminded yourself to remind Nicolas to walk to the goddamn dumpster instead of tossing them and ‘Hoping for the best.’ The vending machines chattered as you grudged past them, praising their weekend discounts. You unlocked the back door and— *Thud!*
*“*No way that fucking box is still there.“ You said.
“—Winter sale on coff—“
“—There’s no fucking way.“
“In the mood for a sprite?”
“There's no fucki—“
Now weaving your way through the Gothic decor of the library, the smell of old pages and coffee filled your nose. From the fleeting glances you got through the bookcases, today was the usual. Late-night college students much like yourself crammed in as much studying as they could, a few homeless sleeping comfortably, along with the main entrance security guard.
Flinging open the door to the employee’s lounge, there was no sign of anyone, the dusty couch and pale walls were untouched. Lugging over to your locker you sighed, while taking off your backpack your shoulder hit against the locker door. All you heard was the sound of metal crushing like tin cans, and when you shut your eyes for a moment, just a moment, you could hear the sound of someone's skull popping against concrete.
…
From what The Hood gathered, around two weeks ago a new drug had debuted. For every heroin addict this was the greatest invention in the thirtieth century. It was pricey, only dealt to Gothams higher ups, but Red was lucky to find a few who just couldn’t keep their vinegar scented arms away from it. More specifically The Penguin’s men.
….
thats all love you so much!! will update when first episode is out! let me know if you guys are interested in seeing that! dont know if im gonna keep posting on this acc, but ill def keep my fics up. love you guys!

Character: Yazoo Series: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children by Square Enix
Cosplayer Credits: - Kadaj : Kat - Reno : Jaiden

==========
I definitely can't wear this costume anymore. We actually made them in such a way that we didn't need to bind or anything for them because they sort of acted like a corset/binder all on their own. They were also so form-fitting up top that I couldn't lift my arms up beyond a certain point; I could barely touch my own face. And living in FL, we did almost die of heat stroke a few times taking pics outside... so yeah, don't do that! 😂
==========
We finished everything in time for MetroCon '08 except for the weapons which we completed at the end of October.
All of the leather material aspects are made of car leather which is a lot thicker than most other fabrics because it had, not only a leather top, but a cloth underside. We made the coat first, but used the wrong needles and broke about 4-6 of them. We made our own pattern from a form-fitting jacket we had and extended it to the appropriate length. Each piece of the side design was separately sewn into place on a piece of organza. Once it was a whole piece, we sewed the whole thing on the coat. We purchased the custom zippers from ZipperSource.com. The wrists were crafted with wooden bangles purchased at Michael's and hot glued into place. The boots were made from on-sale Keds and a cover. We made a pattern to get the leather to be form-fitting and hot glued the covers in place. We already had costume gloves and the pants were merely tights. We made the big shoulder armor pieces out of cardboard, polyfil and a bit of furniture foam. The little ones were just stuffed. We hand sewed the little ones to the big ones. The straps were also hand sewed to the armor and the snaps were stomped in place (literally). The wigs were purchased from eBay seller CosplayWig.
Kadaj's weapon was made out of Balsa wood and my father, a carpenter, crafted it. Kat finished it off by wrapping the hilt and adding the black and white ribbons. Yazoo's weapon was made out of spruce wood and bits of metal for the trigger, trigger guard, hammer, and site. I used a hot glue gun to make the designs.

Cost: $185 Time: ~900 hrs

Hello! Hope you don't mind but I'm just really curious how the process of customising your dreamling nendroids go!!! and what other details you want to add!
They're so lovely and adorable! You did an amazing job!
I am considering adding a chin cleft for Hob mainly.
I didn't really take many process photos for them. I did dream a while back, I'll have to look. I made some minor modifications to Hob's hair, clipping and sanding away a few extra locks of hair to open up his face more. It's the hair sculpt for the France (Hetalia) Nendoroid. Then hand painting the hairs carefully with acrylics and sealing them with Mr. Super clear a couple times.
Both of their hairs are actually knock offs I got off Ali Express because I couldn't find the original Good Smile Company parts available anywhere. They come white and the plastic is a different kind but it's manageable.
Hob has three face plates of his own right now I picked up from Chibi Chop Shop during their last sale. Dream has several I've picked up but two I mainly use at this point which are actually a set from some character I've never heard of. I did have to remove some detail off them with acetone.
The bodies I'm currently using for these are YMY doll bodies which are compatible with GSC style neck joints so no modification is needed there. Dream is on a paler, taler version of the body which meant I had to find him special pants from a company called Ninimal that does specific doll sizes. (Him legs too long.) I also painted his nails and toenails black because I think they should be. I made some small modifications to Dream's coat but a lot of it is shopping endlessly on Etsy and Ali Express sourcing clothes in the right size for your doll body and assembling their wardrobe. I paid too much for both their jackets but they're so dear. There was actually more detail on Dream's coat I removed. It had little wrist straps with tiny buckles and I blacked out the silver buttons. The zipper on Hob's coat actually works.

Dress for sale
Interested in buying a wedding dress?
My husband and I have been married 10 years (yes, we're still married, so, the dress isn't haunted or anything!) and now that the warranty for the dress has expired, I'm ready to part with it.
Here are the dress stats:
Size: 22
Style: A-Line, fully lined, back zipper
Color: White
Train: Chapel
Materials: Polyester, satin, chiffon
Bustled: Yes (french or "under bustled")
Capped Sleeves: Not included!
Slip: Included
Here are the jacket stats:
Size: 3X
Color: White
Materials: Beads, lace, polyester
Sleeves: 3/4
FYI: These are MODEL PHOTOS of the dress. I am willing to share pictures of myself in the dress with legitimately interested buyers.
Care Details:
Worn once
Professionally cleaned
Placed in preservation box (steamed, folded, and boxed by hand with acid-free tissue wrapping)
Preservation seal unbroken
Additional Details: I am a 44 DD and 5'6. I wore this dress with ballet flats and a torsolette (not included). With the slip (included) I had no issues tripping over the dress, and by wearing a torsolette (not included) the dress stayed up all night without any issues.
Pricing: I am asking $700.00 for the dress (not including shipping). I'm happy to negotiate (within reason) and am willing to answer any questions about the dress and payment options via direct message.
Note: When thinking of the cost of a wedding dress, remember: bustling, jacket, and slip would not be included. Also, most re-sale on wedding dresses doesn't include the dress being professionally cleaned and preserved; this preservation means you're getting a "like new" dress, and if you're purchasing your dress early, it will stay protected until you're ready to wear it.

This year, because of a number of reasons, (I found a few sewing shops close to wear I live, I'm sick of shitty made goods, It's difficult to find things in my style in my price range, making things is fun, etc) I decided to buy a cheap used sewing machine and make my own clothes.
This is the stuff I made over the course of the year in order of which ones I made first.
First dress. Pretty frumpy, I'm going to recycle the fabric and make something else.
Second dress. You can see the mistakes in the stitching if you look close but I like how I look in it.
Little red shorts. Pants are HARD! It fits me a little funny, but I've never loved my pockets more on anything I've ever had than I do on these shorts. You can't see them but they're really big.
Third dress. The first time I tried to do sleeves. Sleeves are hard. I had to redo them 3 times and I still don't like how they came out, but I got this fabric on sale and I get a lot of compliments when I wear this one.
First shirt and first long pair of pants. Once again, pants are HARD. They don't quite fit me right. I'll likely recycle them. The shirt came out a little poofier than I would have liked but it's comfortable.
Fourth dress. The bottom part came from another dress that I retooled. The top part I did by myself. You can't see it but the zipper in the back is a little messed up but I think with light jacket or cardigan you wouldn't know.
Fifth dress. I'm really proud of how well this one fit me. I think it's cute but the way I cut the fabric, there's just this big pink spot on my belly area.
Sixth dress. I went back to rework this one so many times I eventually just had to put it down and say "It's good enough to call finished."
Seventh dress. Probably the dress I'm most proud of. It fits really well and I didn't have to go back and redo anything. Came out looking like this on the first try.
Not clothes, just some stuffed animals I made for my young students with some left over fabric I had.
My most comfortable pair of pants yet. Still not perfect. I can't exactly do the splits in them without worry of ripping but I like them.
My purse. I quite like the way it came out. I get a lot of compliments on it.
Here's hoping by next year I'll have some better pieces.

I’m bored so here’s some of my jackets IG, pretty much all of these were jackets that I got on sale super cheap or that I was given.
The purple jacket is my newest and still very much a work in progress, (all of them are escrow the Donnie Darko one actually, purple is jsut the newest) and I need to redo the back patch (Polkas Not Dead by The Dreadnoughts, fave album by my fave band) next to it is my other main jacket which has a Danger Days back design. “Do Good Recklessly” is a saying that has resonated with me a lot so I figured it would be cool to have it there. I got a Reel Big Fish patch coming in the mail soon and I wanna get a Ska Dream patch for it, trying to decide if I wanna add some colored/patterned panels to it bc that night look cool. Gotta figure out what other bands I wanna put on it but it’s kinda hard to find colorful patches lmao
The gray jacket actually started off as a cosplay item for a Killjoys OC that I never got around to doing. I consider this my first jacket even tho there was a really shitty vest that I wore one singular time before I got this one. My boyfriend actually made a few of the patches that are on the gray jacket (Days N Daze and Polkas Not Dead above the spider) as birthday gifts when we first met, I don’t put a ton of patches on that jacket and it’s all bands that are v important to me for various reasons, the Frank Turner one was from the first show I went to with my boyfriend and he has one on one of his jackets too. Mischief Brew is one of my fave bands and their music means a lot to me, LS Dunes (the pyramid) has a really cool community surrounding it so I thought it would be cool to put that there. It also has zippered sleeves which makes it really nice for year round use!! Also has a Billy Idol pin because I grew up listening to Generation X and I still adore that debut album. Im immunocompromised and have a kidney transplant so I decided to add the pins to represent that because they are a big part of who I am.
On the bottom two pics, the left jacket is my queer horror inspired jacket. I am at some point gonna get a backpatch of The Old Dark House of a scene at the end of the movie with Morgan (Boris Karloff) holding Saul’s body (Brember Wills.) It also has a few Rocky Horror related items on it such as the “creature of the night” patch coming from the song Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me as well as the iconic lips and Frank-N-Furtor. Also have a The Lost Boys pin and the Babadook as well as a Beetlejuice pin. The Elm St. pin is specifically for Nightmare 2 and Gene Co is from Repo the Genetic Opera, a movie with a bisexual face stealer. It’s a fun time. Frankenstein and the Bride are classic queer coded cinema and James Whales was an openly gay man who directed both (as well as The Old Dark House) in the 1930s.
The last jacket is my Donnie Darko jacket. Donnie Darko is one of my fave movies, everting except the pins were done by hand. The pins are all artists who are actually featured in the soundtrack of the movie.

Nothing overly specific to post today aside from some rambles and a few pics of going on.
Rendered lard (5 total pints this week) and cut up the weeks worth of beef for the family
Also got into researching local beef farmers as that is next on our attempt to divest from what we want to see changed on the food system, it is definatly a rabbit hole of everything with that.
So far, for those curious where to start looking for places and people, so you can to remove yourself from big ag and cafo feed systems check out
🌱Craigslist and similar (Facebook too.) Be aware, you may need to know. Learn or be willing to help with or do the process of butcher, clean and process
🌱search engine, small grocers and local butcher shops.
🌱feed stores and occasionally pet/reptile stores. Feed stores will have a lot more localised or regional/state. Reptile stores has oddly been where I've made some egg sale/trade connections (I like to get crickets, worms and other insect goodies for my hens there)
🌱small scale fabric and sewing notion stores. Aside from finding sewers and other small crafter I've seen pig share flyers on a few boards.
🌱some cultural centers hold workshops or farmers markets.
I've not found a specific spot or place yet, but for now I'm looking to figure out what options would be best for us.
Not too much going on with the garden right now. Still been a bit to hot out to do much except maintain what I can (which as you can see, I'm not doing too well atm lol.)
I did some trimming of dead things this week, as well as a lot of grass pulling in the mint area. In the next month or so, there's intending to get some material to start planning extensions this coming winter/spring. As well as some stuff to be done in the back bit.
I did get around to 2 soap batches. This recipe is an almost castile style soap, which means it will take awhile to fully harden and cure.
This one's got ground oats and coffee grounds mixe din for an exfoliating, soothing bar.
We've got hummingbird friends regularly now, This makes 3 new species noticed in the last year.
The gila wood pecker, the peach cheeked lovebirds and now more than 1 hummingbird (this is the 3rd).
We've also had a hawk, bats, red breasted and gold breasted finches, collared doves to name a few regular visitors.
Don't worry, there is plans to add a birdbath or two as well as a few other sugar feeders for the hummers (though if the flower patch and herb expansion area works as we hope, that may not be necessary as it'll be a free flowering patch)
And I've been able to get into the office space and do some repairs on clothes and work on some jackets for the fall/winter. Thought I ahd zippers squirreled away that'd work, I do not. So for now it's a pause 😬
Well, that's it for me today, I've got some lawncare to do, and procrastinating won't get it done faster, lol
🌱✨️Happy homesteading and sustainable journeys✨️🌱

With A Smile Chapter 1
~2235 words. Sora/Kairi. Starts during the end of KH3 and moves into KH4. Sora POV. Angst, Romance, Fluff.
This story is dedicated to @tamtam88, and the art is by her as well! Thank you again for drawing such a beautiful piece and providing such wonderful inspiration 🥺 ❤️
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2
Summary: Sora and Kairi make their final stop on their world tour: home. Before he disappears, he gives her a special gift to remember him by, a paopu hair clip with a deeper connection to his memories than either of them realize.
Sora had taken Kairi to lots of worlds. All the things he wanted to see and do with her, all the experiences he wanted to share before he was gone. But he couldn’t delay the inevitable forever, and so at long last he took her to the one place he both loved and dreaded. He sensed Destiny Islands before he saw it: the sea-salt lingering in the air, the hot tropical sun beating down on his skin, the crash of the surf nearby.
“Oh, we’re home,” Kairi noted as they fully materialized, a tinge of sadness in her voice. She glanced at their surroundings. They were on the Main Island a little ways away from the Town Square, hidden behind a few scraggly bushes. The din of the yearly Ocean Festival drifted to their ears, and the smells of fried festival food, sweet candied fruit, and slow-cooked fish wafted towards them.
She released his hand and wouldn’t meet his eyes. “Does this mean…?”
He fumbled with the zipper on his jacket. “Yeah. I don’t know how much longer I have. But I promise I’ll make it through the festival and then to the Play Island. Everyone’s waiting for us.”
He was fighting fate every second just to stay a little bit longer. To remain just a little further into the future. And while he was fighting a losing battle, he still felt like he’d won. Being with Kairi was his personal triumph, his “reward” as Xigbar had so crudely put it.
Kairi wasn’t a reward, she was his most beloved person. And being with her? No reward could possibly compare. So fate would just have to wait a little longer until he was ready to say goodbye.
He looked at her and knew he never would be.
A few moments passed like this until at last she met his gaze and smiled. “Then I promise I’ll be brave until then.”
“Kairi…” There were tears behind that smile, an ocean of pain behind those big blue eyes. Her voice might be playful and lilting, but only so she could hide the tremor and terror in it.
She shook her head. “I can cry when you’re gone. But for now, I want to smile and enjoy the time we have left. What good is it if I spend the whole time you’re still here blubbering?”
He rubbed the back of his neck. “I’d like to be able to comfort you at least.” That was what a guy was supposed to do for the girl he was going out with, right? And he hated seeing Kairi cry. Especially when it was all his fault. He wanted to fix things, not make them worse.
She hummed softly, then clasped her hands behind her back in that playful Kairi way he loved. “Then let’s make some memories now that will comfort me later.”
He nodded. “Okay.”
She found his hand, and he still felt giddy holding her hand like this. It was so small and soft and gentle, so warm and reassuring. He’d even dreamed about this, and now that his dream was a reality, he couldn’t get enough of it.
She led him to the Ocean Festival, to the nearest food stall. A cute little octopus mascot advertised the takoyaki for sale, and he treated them both to a set of the fried octopus treat. The breaded part was nice and hot, and the octopus was fresh and delicious, just the way he liked it. They thanked the stall owner (an old family friend) before settling down at a picnic table with a checkered tablecloth on it.
Kairi made it partway through her takoyaki when she frowned and set it down. “Sora, do you think this is your last meal?”
Yes. “I can’t say I really thought about it,” was all he said out loud.
Kairi’s lower lip trembled. “It is, isn’t it?”
Now he was the one who couldn’t meet her eyes. Her pain was like a dagger to his heart. If he said something now, he might really lose it.
“Well,” she continued, her voice chipper again, “it’ll just have to be the best last meal ever. To tide you over until you can eat with me again.”
He smiled softly at that. That was Kairi for you, talking about when they would eat together again, not if. She’d never been one to let fate get in the way of what she wanted. He wished he could follow his heart the way she followed hers. He tried, he really did, but he had his moments of doubt.
Like right now.
She was not so easily perturbed. She put her hands behind her back and tilted her head in that delightful Kairi way again, making her hair splash across her cheek. “Well?” she playfully prodded. “What do you say?”
“Sounds good. A big meal to tide me over until I can eat with you again.”
He was rewarded with one of her smiles. “We’re gonna try every single food stall then! Make sure you get all your old favorites!”
He laughed. “Alright, alright.” She pulled him to his feet, and together they picked up treats and goodies from every single food stall and returned to the trusty picnic table. She teased him and challenged him to eat every last crumb of food, which he did till he reached the point he couldn’t possibly eat another bite.
She poked his stomach and giggled. “You sure about that? Sometimes I think you have a bottomless pit for a stomach.”
“I’m a growing boy,” he said, mock seriously. “What did you expect? I’ve gotta get taller than Riku somehow.”
She stilled, and he wondered if he’d said something wrong. “Kairi?”
She smiled, whatever it was that was bothering her gone now. “You can eat all you want, but I don’t know if you’ll ever be taller than Riku.”
He crossed his arms and raised his eyebrow, continuing their playful little game. “Wanna bet?”
She tapped her cheek and pretended to be deep in thought. “Hmmmm, I’ll bet you a date when we meet again.”
“Deal.” That was a bet he’d be happy to lose.
She rested her hand on her chin, her lips twitching. “But honestly, Sora, I don’t mind if you never grow any taller. You’re just the right size to make me feel perfectly safe when you hug me.”
His heart fluttered at that, and he felt his face burning. “Really?”
“Really really.”
“So…you like hugging me?”
She giggled into her hand. “I really, really do.”
He grinned. “I like hugging you too.”
“I’m glad you do.”
They just looked at each other for a few moments like they were the only two people in existence. Gosh, he was gonna miss her. He had no idea where he was even gonna disappear to, but so long as he was Sora he would long for Kairi, that much he knew.
“Kairi?” he asked, reaching for her hand so he could weave their fingers together.
She earnestly searched his face. “Yeah?”
“I, um, I…I…” He wanted to get the words out before he disappeared. Let her know what was in his heart before he was gone. It was the least he could do.
She smiled and shook her head. “Not yet. It’s not time.” She gently tugged at his hand. “C’mon, let’s go look at the trinkets.”
Once again, she led him to the stalls where old family friends were hawking their wares. A jewelry stall in particular caught his eye thanks to the little hair clip with a paopu fruit on display. Kairi was always tucking a strand of hair behind her ear because her hair tended to do its own thing when she moved around. Maybe this would be a nice gift for her.
He gave her some munny and told her to pick something out for herself from the clothing stall next door, which bought him time to make his purchase. She returned with a breezy tropical wrap that was varying shades of blue and captured the ocean’s hues perfectly. He complimented her choice and how nice it looked with her eyes, and she thanked him for the compliment and for the gift.
“So, mister,” she said as they strolled idly among the stalls, “what did you send me away for?”
“This.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small pink box. “I know it’s just a little thing, but I want you to have something to remember me by until I come home. It’s only fair when I still have your lucky charm.” He opened the box and handed her the paopu hair clip, and his hand flickered in and out of existence. Kairi’s eyes shimmered with unshed tears, but she smiled and took the gift from him.
“It’s so pretty, thank you.” She tucked her hair behind her ear. “Could you help me put it on?”
“Sure.” He reached for the hair clip, his fingers trembling a little as he grasped it and undid the clasp. Very carefully, he lifted it and caught a slender lock of her hair, then gently clicked the hair clip into place. Smiling, he took a step back and examined his handiwork. “Kairi, you look beautiful.”
A faint blush dusted her cheeks, and then she smiled so freely and so warmly and so openly that it caught him completely by surprise. Heat crept up his cheeks, and his heart pounded. Was she always this beautiful, or had his feelings for her made her even lovelier to him? Either way, this memory would be etched into his heart forever. She’d asked him to make memories with her that would comfort her later, but he was pretty sure this moment would be a comfort to him too.
“Thank you, Sora,” she said sweetly, then rested a hand over her heart. “I’ll wear it when I come for you.”
He tilted his head. “When you come for me?”
She nodded. “When I come for you. I don’t care how long it takes. I will find you and I’ll bring you home.”
He smiled. That sure was like Kairi, turning his declaration of protection on its head, telling him she’d come for him this time.
“Thank you, Kairi.” He reached for her hand, and together they enjoyed the rest of the festival. He never wanted this to end, but his time was growing short. He wanted to say goodbye to his parents before they went to the Play Island, and so she went with him for moral support. She was there, waiting patiently in the room a polite distance away, when he broke the news of his fate. And she stayed with him as he and his mother and father wept and embraced. He told them he’d be back soon, and he begged them to look after Kairi until then.
“We will,” his parents promised, and she smiled and nodded. He wanted to ask Riku to watch over her too, but he knew his friend already understood.
At last it was time to go to the Play Island. He simply opened a portal, and together he and Kairi went through it, reappearing at the paopu tree.
The sun was sinking low in the sky. Soon it would be dusk, and then all the light would be gone. His life would be gone too, and with it his time with Kairi.
He was determined not to cry. Their friends were celebrating just a little ways away, and he wanted these final moments with Kairi to be happy ones.
Together they sat on the paopu tree, and he smiled fondly remembering her boldness when she’d offered him the fruit. That boldness, that complete fearlessness in following her heart, had saved him. Had saved her too.
He offered his hand, and she took it. He wanted to hold her as close as could be, but he couldn’t do that and look her in the eye or see her beautiful smile. So this was a good compromise. And besides, he wanted to watch the sunset with her, hand-in-hand, side-by-side. Just taking in every precious moment. Home was here and home was her, and soon this would all be nothing more than a memory.
The clouds passed and the sun sank lower and lower in the sky, setting the entire world on fire with its golden light.
It was time. He smiled and gently squeezed her hand. “I love you,” he said. Funny how three simple words could express an eternity’s worth of feelings from deep within his heart. It felt so good to say them too, to share them with the person who meant more to him than anything.
Her eyes widened and her lips parted, as if his words had come as a surprise. But no, she wasn’t surprised, just overwhelmed. A single tear welled up out of her eye and ran down her cheek, shining brilliantly in the sunset. She smiled bigger than ever, so happy and sad at the same time.
Oh no, he’d made her cry. He hadn’t wanted to make her cry. But she’d been so brave for so long that she couldn’t help it. And that was okay. It was okay to cry. He just wanted to go out with a smile.
And so he did. As he faded from this reality, her smiling face was the final thing he saw.

Eddie in the Bathroom
Pairing: past!Steddie
Summary: Eddie and Steve used to date, they were in love, or so Eddie thought. Then Steve dumped him right before Tina’s annual Halloween party. And now Nancy Wheeler is tucked under Steve’s arm and Eddie can’t stand to look. He’s now hiding out in the bathroom, drowning in his thoughts and memories.
Warnings: mentions of weed and porn (no descriptions of usage), mention of alcohol, anxious and depressive thoughts. Very angst heavy. No happy ending.
Word Count: 1182
A/N: This is totally based on the song Michael in the Bathroom from Be More Chill. @writer-in-theory said Steve will now be our third jail cell buddy for angst crimes. And as always, thank you, friend. 💕 This fic is for my C3 square in @harringroveson-bingo
Today. Halloween, 1983…
Tina was hosting her annual Halloween Bash, the biggest party of the fall, and Eddie could care less. Normally he ate up Halloween, adoring getting in costume, watching slasher movies, and most of all, the money he got from his “sales.”
Last year, he had a blast. He dressed as Jason Vorhees and made bank, and then he got to make out with his boyfriend in the back of his van for hours on end.
This year, though. He didn’t have a boyfriend, which was crushing to say the least.
Five days ago…
Eddie met Steve in “their” spot by the quarry, and Steve looked worse for wear. Eddie went to wrap his arms around him before he was met with Steve’s hands shoving at his chest.
“No!” he shouted.
“Sweetheart, what’s going on?” Eddie’s eyebrows furrowed. Had he done something? Was Mr. Harrington home? Did someone find out about them?
“I just can’t be with you anymore, okay? And when we go back to school tomorrow, keep pretending like we don’t know each other,” Steve’s voice wavered and he walked away, heading back to the Beemer, leaving Eddie more confused and heartbroken than ever.
Today…
He was dressed as Willem Dafoe’s character in ‘Loveless.’ While in the middle of a sale, he happened to see Steve making his way into the party, dressed as Indiana Jones. The shirt unbuttoned down to his navel was enough to make Eddie’s mouth water. Oh, Steve looked so good, but Eddie couldn’t touch. He pocketed the cash and began to make his way over to get a better look when a flash of white tulle caught his eye.
Eddie stopped in his tracks. Steve brought someone? Surely not. They only broke up a few days ago, there’s no way that Steve has a date already, let alone a girlfriend.
He wouldn’t do that…
And there she was, Nancy Wheeler, clad in a white tulle dress, looking pretty as ever, as Marion Ravenwood. They were matching. It was a fucking couples costume. Eddie felt sick. Replaced. He met Steve’s gaze briefly before his feet began moving themselves. There was no time to unpack what emotions were in Steve’s eyes before he was stumbling into the bathroom and locking himself in.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Eddie muttered, pacing in the confined space. It was hot and this leather jacket was suffocating him. He clumsily fumbled with the zipper, practically ripping the material from his body to allow his skin to breathe.
Eddie slid down to the floor, resting against the porcelain bathtub that felt like ice against his back. He felt like he was going to hyperventilate if he didn’t ground himself quickly. Seeing Steve after the break up was hard enough, but knowing he was here with someone else?
Why? Why was he here with Nancy Wheeler? Why was he not good enough? They were together for a year. They were in love. Eddie was, at least. He thought…
Six months ago…
“When I graduate, where do you wanna go?” Steve asked, curling into Eddie’s side. It felt like home, like nothing could ever go wrong.
Eddie chuckled, fingertips tracing the curves and dips of Steve’s back, “Did you have something in mind, Stevie?”
Steve tilted his head up to look at Eddie, flashing his million watt smile, “I was thinking Pittsburgh. We’d be more free to be ourselves and you could pursue music like you’ve always wanted. I’ll have time to figure out what I wanna do.”
Eddie looked Steve with the fondest of grins before leaning in to press a kiss to the mole just under his hairline.
“We’ll have all the time, sweetheart.”
Today…
Now Eddie is the one hiding in someone’s bathroom, meanwhile Steve is flaunting around Miss Perfect, as if the last year didn’t exist, as if it meant nothing. Eddie hadn’t realized he was crying until he heard an incredibly off-key rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart.’ He felt the tears drop down onto his bare chest and he decided it was time to suck it up and
“Oh, great,” he muttered, standing up on shaky legs to look at his reflection in the mirror. He was flushed, eyes red from crying, and his hair was sweaty around his temples. Surely there couldn’t be a sadder sight tonight. Maybe he can pass it off as being stoned, or he got beer in his eyes from people sloshing the shit around with their horrible dancing. He had enough to deal with, what with being “The Freak,” “The Loser,” “The Stoner,” he didn’t need to add “The Wuss” to it too.
They didn’t know him. They knew a name and one thing about him. They didn’t know he could create intricate stories, that he played guitar in a band, that he loved fiercely, or that he wasn’t as stupid as he seemed. They knew nothing. They didn’t even notice him unless he was selling pot.
A little over a year ago…
“You’re so pretty,” Steve whispered as they sat across from each other in the library.
Eddie startled, dropping his pen against the wooden table, earning him a glare from the librarian.
“Dude, you can’t just say shit like that!” Eddie hissed, kicking Steve’s shin under the table.
Steve bit back a laugh and the urge to pull Eddie by the collar and kiss him.
“Be mine,” he said, simply. Except it wasn’t simple. It was fucking po-dunk Indiana and they were two guys.
Eddie gaped and glanced around to be sure no one heard them. He was shoved around enough, he truly didn’t need another reason added to that apparently very lengthy list.
“Meet me at the quarry,” he murmured finally, lips turning upwards in the faintest of smiles, “So I can give a proper ‘yes’ to my boyfriend.”
Today…
Eddie turned the knob of the sink, splashing his face with cold water, ignoring the knocks on the door. If someone had to piss that bad, there was an entire back yard and loads of empty bottles and solo cups.
“Big mistake. You should have stayed home, Munson. No cash was worth this,” he grumbled to himself, drying his face with the little hand towel on the ring. His head hurts now- the anxiety and crying brewing into a booming pressure in his skull. Shit, watching porn, and being miserable and alone in bed would have been better than this. Even the fleeting low, dark thought seemed like a better option. He’d never do that to Wayne, though.
He grabbed his jacket from the floor and opened the door, expecting to be cussed out by some couple who wanted the bathroom to make out, but no one was there. Passing the threshold, he met Steve’s eyes again, this time Eddie made a beeline for the front door. He couldn’t do it. He didn’t know how the hell he was meant to make it through his senior year when Steve was there.
“Awesome party,” he said flippantly as he passed Tina, “I’m so glad I came.”
He wasn’t.

fat clothes bullshit
As it is a fact universally known that once you hit double-digit sizes, clothing that isn’t fugly, uncomfortable, or both becomes hard to find on almost a logarithmic scale, I’ve always got an eye out for somewhere that doesn’t appear to hate its customers in order to spend my fat fashion dollar.
Most recently, I succumbed to the Universal Standard hype. The tl;dr: it is well-fitted decent quality basics for people of all sizes (from US size 00- 40). Every piece is available in every size -there aren’t different ‘plus’ styles - and most pieces come in a wide variety of colors.. It’s slightly more expensive than Torrid (about equivalent with Lane Bryant), and unlike either of those options it doesn’t look like 2003 threw up on it and died.
That said, when I say “basics” I do mean basic. There’s some pieces with construction interest to them like the Meridian asymmetric zip jackets, and there’s some tunics and dresses with interesting shapes, but for the most part it is very much wardrobe-staple type items in simple styles and almost zero prints/plaids/pattern of any kind, even just stripes.
In my opinion, that’s perfect because a) I have a deeply ambivalent relationship with girly shit, and b) I’m a scarf/shawl/cowl knitter and a jewelry maker; solid colors are a great canvas for statement accessories. But if your jam is more high femme and print/detail interest than clean-lined bordering on gender neutral (a good amount of their clothing, although sized and tailored for AFAB, could certainly read nonbinary or agender depending on the pieces), you might find it uninspiring. However, you may still want to consider their pants and tees as potential infrastructure to rotate more trendy/dainty pieces around if Torrid or LB is doing that for you now and you don’t love the (lack of) durability.
If any of that sounds like you would like to know more, more specific product reviews behind the readmore.
1) the T-rex/V-rex t-shirts are cotton/modal, soft but heavy enough that I didn’t get bra lines, the colors looked pretty faithful to how they were on screen (enough that I was able to match a pair of pants from another vendor and was still happy when able to physically put the two together) they’re neither baggy nor mad clingy/revealing, and they don’t feel like the hems will be unraveling and holes growing around the stitching after a season. The V of the v-neck does what it needs to do without showing bra; the crew neck that I was ambivalent about getting (wanted the color but generally don’t like crew necks) is cut wide enough that it’s got a little style and doesn’t feel like it’s strangling a person. They’re both decently long enough to not ride up and expose your back when you bend over/long enough to tuck in if that’s how you roll (I am 5′7″ for reference). They feel a lot more quality than Torrid’s basic V-necks and come in a LOT more colors, as long as they wash decently these are worth getting. Keep your eye out for sales.
2) the liquid jersey Genevette top - the fabric is amazing, it’s a slinky rayon that for something as soft as it is just falls straight down without sticking weirdly to any lumps, bumps or bulges. It’s an asymmetrical piece that on me at least falls long enough to be a good length to wear with leggings (same place as on the skinnier model displaying it, kudos to the people who graded the pattern and actually knew what they were doing). I’m just praying I don’t dump coffee on it or something. Will definitely acquire more pieces in this fabric if it washes well.
3) The Meridian Zip jacket’s two-way zipper is actually metal and heavy. It’s almost pure cotton and more structured than I was expecting; if you are looking for “cozy” this isn’t it. It is however warm, easy to wear and fashion enough to get away with in a business casual environment iif like me, sweaters make you itchy and blazers are annoyingly constricting and sweaty. (the autistic person’s go-to office layering piece!) Unfortunately, they’re out of a lot of colors right now after their Mystery Box event. II hope they restock or add more, I would definitely buy another one in the steel or navy if they had it in my size.
4) The sweats I got as a “mystery bonus” item I think they are the Hathaway Jersey Jogger - annoyingly, any “mystery” items you get still don’t have what product they are on the tags when you get them. This is dumb, because how are you supposed to order them again if you liked them? Anyway, they are heavy and soft - not fuzzy, but very drapey/silky unlike the Meridian jacket. They DO have pockets and DON’T have a drawstring, which are exactly what I’m looking for in lounge pants, hooray! I don’t know that I would have paid upfront what these cost for something that’s around-the-house or errand pants, but I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for sales.
5) Universal Standard’s claim to fame are their jeans. To get a taste without a huge price commitment, I got a mystery box with some. I think the ones I ended up with are the Seine skinny midrise in dark wash (again, irritatingly, they are not labeled wth a product name because mystery box.) They are true to size (US gives both size measurements and individual product dimension measurements which is super nice), the waistband is not pinchy and nor does it gap in the back, pockets your whole hand fits in and they don’t creep if you’re getting up and down a lot (LOOKING AT YOU TORRID). The real test of jeans of course is how they come out of their first wash, but they’re a win on try-on and if they wash well, I’d be willing to buy at full price. It gives me some more confidence to try their work pants too, now that I have more faith that their sizing is actually as described.

Look I was going to get so much done today and then I realized I wanted to steal Brasso’s hoodie which means you probably want to steal Brasso’s hoodie and since hoodies are now canon in Star Wars I should make an in-universe-ish hoodie that could belong to Brasso and put it on the internet.
The front is embroidered and says Brasso, the back is printed and says Ferrix Honor Guard. The design is based on Brasso’s honor guard regalia.
A bunch of different colors are available.
And I made a zip-up version. Because zippers have always been and still are canon.
Cosplaying “I stole a space man’s jacket/hoodie” is my personal favorite cosplay and I hope you enjoy it, too. Shop is here. Pls enjoy. (Pssssst all apparel is currently 10% off for my after life day sale!)
