I rewatched the Dragon Prince recently since season 6 is coming out next month (WOOOOOO) so naturally i had to put my most recent blorbos in a The Dragon Prince Au

Jack

so Jack is a Skywing elf mage-in-training because the power set of Sky mages seems to match Jack's powers the closest. They create gusts of wind, storms, can fly, breathe ice breaths, and frost touches. It was a tough choice between that or a Moonshadow elf, what with the whole invisibility thing, but i just can't imagine Jack not being able to fly :/

And even though most Skywing elves dont have wings, i gave him the wings because vibes and because i can

i did add some moon opal charms to his staff though, so he can do some small moon spells

Toothless

i wanted to adjust some of the details to Toothless's design because i didn't want it to be a 1-to-1 of his design in HTTYD. I noticed the dragons in Xadia all have snouts, horns, and muscled forelegs, and i tried to incorporate some of that to Toothless. With a narrower head and longer legs and more hand like claws.

I added more prominent scales, nose plates (like the storm dragons in TDP) and tried to add more horns to spots on his legs and wings.

I also made Toothless a lot bigger than he is in the HTTYD universe because those Xadian dragons?? Excuse me?? Even a common one is still pretty huge!

There's also a dragon that exists in the Dragon Prince universe called a Midnight Dragon, and it's connected to the Moon Arcanum! They're said to have pitch black scales and are sensitive to light, so i thought it was fitting for Toothless. There weren't any pictures of the dragon tho so i kinda just made the design as i went.

Hiccup

i tried using costume designs from both the first two movies, with the vest, the belts, and the pant pattern.

colors took me longer to figure out, because i wanted to have some red (like in RttE) along with the greens and browns. Overall though im happy with how it turned out!

I think Hiccup would be the son of Commander or General Stoic in the Katolis army some years before or during the events of The Dragon Prince/Mystery of Aaravos.

These designs are for early in the story, before Hiccup loses his leg and when he meets Toothless for the first time. Definitely thinking that him and his village are known for their handling of dragons and elves in the region and then Hiccup shoots Toothless down just like in the movie. But as they become friends, Jack finds them and misunderstands the situation and thinks Hiccup is going to kill Toothless.

So that'll be fun >:)

Imagine: Jack seeing you for the first time but you can’t see him

It had been three years since Jack became a guardian. And he had to admit, it was fun. Ironically enough he was the guardian of fun. But the spirit of winter.

He spreaded snow and frost everywhere. From France to the small town of Burgess. At first, it was strange to be a guardian, helping children, and being seen.

Usually, children were the only ones who could see him. Well, children who bealived in him. Which weren't a lot. But as the years went by a lot more came. And he got a decent amount of believers.

It was very strange. He would just be walking by making it snow and children would come up to him. It was surprising but he got used to it.

He would fly over the world when he didn't have to bring winter. But when he was, he's favorite place to finish is at Burgess. That's Jamie's town. Jamie is the first boy who ever bealived in Jack.

Burgess has a very special place in his heart. And so is Jamie. But while he is out flying around the world he encounters many strange people, that can't see him. Last time he "meet" a young female.

Jack was in Burgess bringing snow and fun like usual. That was his last stop for the day. He was done and all the kids were out playing. He was going to leave but then Cupcake came running out of her home.

"Guys! You won't believe it!" She ran to her friends. And Jack was just close enough to hear. He turned around to see the little ball of sunshine. "What is it, Cupcake?" Pippa asked.

"My sister is coming back from collage!" Cupcake jumped up and down. "Wait. Y/n is coming back?" Jamie asked excited like everyone else. Jack confused flew to them. "Who's Y/n?" He asked.

"Cupcake's older sister." Jamie answered. "Yes, she's the best!" Caleb said as his twin brother agreed, "Yeah, she is!" They high five each other.

"She is the coolest!" Monty said excitedly as he fixed his glasses. "Coolest?" Jack mouthed out. "Remember when we had that massive snowball fight?" Claude asked as he made a snowball and threw it at Caleb who dogged.

"Yeah, she was the best at that!" Caleb agreed. "The best?" Jack mummered. "Ooh, and on my birthday she made the biggest party ever!" Pippa jumped up and down. "She was awesome!" Monty exclaimed.

"Awsome?" Jack whispered. "Uh, were is she, exactly?" Jack said as he leaned on his woden staff. "She's on her way here!" Cupcake yelled. "When is she getting here?" Jamie asked.

Jack chuckled at their excitement. "I'm not so sure." Cupcake shrugged. While they all told Jack how awesome and generous Y/n was they didn't know you had arrived.

"Mom! Dad!" You ran to them and hugged them both. Tears where shead. Blah, blah, blah. "Where's Cupcake?" You asked. "Oh, she's with Jamie and the others." Your mother said whipping her tears.

You lowly gasped with excitement and with one last hug you ran to find her. "Cupcake!" You called as you walked along the frozen path. Almost slipping. But you grabbed onto a ralling for bikes.

You sighed and carefully walked along the path. "Cupcake!" You yelled again. This time you were somewhere near Jamie's house and near the lake. "Uh, Jamie!?" You called.

"Ugh, come back from collage to a very warm welcome." You mocked. "Cupcake!!" You yelled louder. "Y/N!!" Cupcake and her friends ran to you. "Oh!" You feel backwards due to the force.

"Hi, guys!" You greeted as you hugged them all. They all bombarded you with questions as you stood up. Cupcake was clinging to your leg which you honestly didn't mind. You knew how much she missed you.

"Woah, woah! Calm down. One at a time, please." You laughed with them. But as you answered their questions Jack flew near you. He observed your features.

How your E/c eyes glimmering in the sun. How your S/c skin suited you well. The way your H/c colered hair framed your face perfectly. How soft your L/c lips looked.

He could tell you where a kind person by the way you interacted with the kids. "It's nice to see you all. But it's getting late shouldn't you guys be heading home?" You asked. Cupcake had finally let go of your leg.

"Oh, right!" Pippa realized. "Will we see you tomorrow?" Monty asked. "You bet!" The kids all cheered. "Come on, Cupcake. Say bye." You told your sister as you started to walk away.

"Bye!" All the kids said to each other and they all went home. "I have so much to tell you!" Cupcake said to you. "Oh, well I would love to hear it all."

Jack being the curious and mischievous guy he is decided to follow you two. He wanted to know you. Maybe even have you see him. He knew you couldn't. But that didn't stop him from trying.

"I have this cool story to tell you. It was awesome!" Cupcake beamed. "Alright. How about you wait 'till we get home. Yeah?" You asked as you glanced down at her. "Okay!" You giggled as she skipped home.

Feeling a cold but gentle breeze you smiled. You loved winter. Sure it was cold but it was fun. A small snowflake fell infront of you. Bringing your hand up the snowflake landed on your palm.

You giggled at the cold feeling. You smiled softly as it started to snow more. "It's snowing!" Cupcake said as she tried to capture snowflakes with her tounge.

"Winter. So lovely." You whispered. Cupcake was a few feet away from you and Jack was right next to you. "It is, ain't it?" Jack asked even though he knew you won't respond.

"How I whish I could just..control it." This peaked Jack's interest. "How so?" He asked. "Imagine me..able to bring winter anywhere, anytime, whenever." You giggled. Watching the snowflakes fall into your palm you felt happy.

Happy to be home. "Well, snowflake, you'll be happy to know, I already do that." Jack informed. You giggled and shoock your head. "Talking to myself. Gotta stop doing that."

You looked straight ahead and saw that Cupcake was further away. "Hey, Cupcake! Wait up!" You ran to her. Jack chuckled at you and looked back but decided to follow you.

Every iteration of HTTYD Jack Frost I've done so far! (Including a new one) I feel like every time I do it I get closer to what I want

Design notes under read more vvvv

1st - Put him in a skirt because I like boys in skirts, sue me. Took inspiration from httyd outfits. Didn't want to overdue it with the blue.

2nd - White cape to help him blend in more with his dragon. Went all out on the blue but added some toned gray to compensate. Went for more of a foreign look rather than Viking. Gave him a larger bag since he's a traveler and trader of goods. Added dragon Baby Tooth. Drew his staff larger since it felt small in the first one. Still gave him sort of a skirt, but not really.

3rd - Took away the cape to make him more aerodynamic but kept a scarf. Added a bit more brown back into his design for some balance.

4th - Added the cape back because I missed it, and played with a slightly different moon clasp design. Shortened the sleeves for a more carefree look. Added a new "belt" to look a bit more interesting.

5th - Made the cape white again because I didn't like the brown and went back to a single moon clasp. Also tried steering away from the brown again to give him a more whimsical and snowy appearance. Took away his bag just to see how it looked.

6th - Darkened the cape again but this time with blue and shorter so it's not so in the way. The shorter is also inspired by his human/alive outfit from the movie. Went for a top similar to his original hoodie but with silver things at the end of the two strings (one is hidden) and a subtle gradient as well. Went back to a classic belt to match the new leg brace I gave him (his staff is now not only a magical weapon but also a mobility aid). Added a patch to his pants with the same material as his cape to suggest limited access to materials. There's also more tears and rips now. Finally traced his real staff instead of doing my own, but tweaked it a bit. Gave him his bag back. Made the straps on his pants more obvious to look like he's purposefully tied them higher so there's more exposed skin (so he can walk in snow without getting drenched pants). Went much darker in general for this one and I like it, but I'm not sure how well he matches the Light Fury now.

after the game ended, i immediately ran out to my car where the cupcakes are packed and placed neatly in the trunk. i brought the little cart with me and loaded the small treat boxes onto it, walking quickly into the hallway that the leads to the arena after i lock my car.

there's a huge grin on my face as i near the locker room. i pass a couple staff members and hand them their own little box with the freshly made treats inside.

the security checks the locker room to make sure the boys are still clothed before i walk in and that everyone is inside the large, messy room. i wheel in the cart after i get the okay and i run to jack, leaving the cart behind me, congratulating him on his huge win and the goal he got.

he smiles when he catches me in a hug, his sweaty hair falling onto my shoulder. i hear him laughing, and he kisses me on the lips with a quick thank you. "thank you baby! what's on the cart?" he points at it, and i suddenly remember all the boxed treats.

"oh! i brought you guys something!" my words that raised in volume caught the attention of the players and coaches. "i brought you all some treats!!" i walk over to the cart and grab a box. they're all named, since the goodies inside are customized to each players liking.

"nico and timo? i have your boxes!" both nico and timo practically run over to me, smiling and giving me a thank you hug as they take their boxes. "uhh...dawson and jesper?" they come over too, and all the boxes are eventually passed out, except for my two favorite devils players.

"luke and jack?" i turn and look at the two brothers with a big smile. they walk over together, chatting for a second before taking their boxes as well. luke gives me a big, long, thank you hug and tells me a quick i love you. jack gives me a kiss, along with a quick thank you and i love you also.

once i turn around to look at all the players and coaches, they're all digging into the boxes of yummy desserts, some of them looking like their about to go into a sugar crash or food coma. i look at nico, who's head is tilted back in bliss and his jaw is chomping down on a soft sugar cookie, one of his favorite treats that i've made, he's expressed to me how much he loves them multiple times, so i wrote it down in my notebook.

over a long time of baking and selling goods, i began to keep a journal of certain people's favorite things that i make. i have my family's favorite things, the hughes family's favorite things, the devils team, the canucks team, the umich team and even some of jack's friends like trevor and jamie.

i smile as i watch them enjoy the food. it's always made me happy to see people enjoy the desserts i make, especially people that i love so dearly. i rarely make batches of goodies like this, but the boys have worked so hard this season and they deserve a treat. luke is eating a no bake chocolate oatmeal cookie, one of his all time favorites, timo is eating the same cookie and dawson is eating a classic gingerbread cookie.

jack is chowing down on a carrot cake cupcake, smiling at me as we make eye contact. he holds the cupcake out to me, and i take a bite. i chew my bite of jack's cupcake, savoring the moist cake and delicious frosting. i'm never one to talk about how good my desserts are, but damn, i'm a good baker. i smile and giggle when i see the amount of frosting on coach keefe's face from his red velvet cupcake he's eating. he's really enjoying that cupcake, i think to myself.

moments like these with the team are my favorites. we're all together, enjoying the moment of happiness while we celebrate a huge win. we're definitely all going out for drinks later, but i know the night will be cut short for me and jack, since he always is super tired after playing for longer than usual, which he did tonight.

once we reach the doorway to the quiet, dark, and cold apartment, jack and i take our shoes off by the door, walking to the bedroom. i flop down on the bed, groaning from how tired my body is, and i look up to see jack changing into his sleep pants, i decide that i should probably change too, so i stand and take my clothes from the game off, my 'hughes 86' jersey coming off and getting put into the hamper alongside my pants and bra.

i hear jack grunt when his body hits the bed, i finish taking off my makeup and make my way to bed, cuddling up to jack almost immediately. i hum into his chest, tracing shapes onto his back. "thank you for making all those things for my teammates, you really didn't have to do all that. but, i'm glad you did. they really love you, not just because of how good your desserts are, but because of how caring you are for them. they wouldn't shut up about how good it was and everyone told me to tell you thank you."

i smile at his words, "i love them too. i know how hard you boys have been working and you all deserve to know that people care about you guys and not just about the game and i know all the fans are thankful for all you guys do, so i decided to make all that stuff for you guys. i'm glad they appreciated it, too!" i play with his hair as i speak, messing it up and putting it in various little styles.

we chat more about the game before jack turns his alarm on so he can get up for morning skate in the early hours of the next morning and i cut off the light, darkening the room except for the light coming off the tv and the light from jack's phone. i smile when i see him scrolling through instagram, seeing where reporters had made various articles about the boys who talked about getting the delicious treats from me after being asked about the goodie boxes that were sitting beside them.

jack smiles and likes the article, shutting his phone off and putting it on charge. i he turns to look at me and grabs my waist, pulling me closer to him and kissing my jaw, down my neck and along my shoulder. i giggle when he kisses my neck, i've always been ticklish there and he knows it.

the cold breeze from the air conditioning hits us, and we cuddle closer to each other, both to lazy to get up and mess with the ac unit this late in the night. we fall asleep in each others arms, the faint smell of alcohol coming off of us from our celebratory drinks at the bar. but that doesn't bother either of us, we just enjoy each others time, sleeping peacefully in each others arms.

thanks for the lovely response!! originally, i rediscovered your account by searching pitch black x reader, so I was wondering if you'd write for him?? How about a pitch who used to terrorize and the scare the living hell out of the reader 🤣 (all in good, fun banter of course!!) And the reader eventually grows used to him and ends up loving his company, but-

one day, out of the blue he just up and disappears! Just like that. The reader gets worried, and it turns out he did it because he thought it would be for the readers own good, because in the end, she's still human. she would still end up passing wayy before him. Now that I think abt it, it sounds a lot like it's more for him than her, actually?? Anyways. Jack frost ends up getting involved somehow and finds out about this, goes to confront pitch who's an absolute miserable mess, and one thing leads to another, and Jack's comment of "wow you're afraid," triggers him somehow and he goes to face the reader who's angry at him, rightfully so, and they make up??

I do indeed write for Pitch! I love this stupid lanky bastard- mostly because you know that behind every interaction there is a 3 part act and a soliloquy of desperation because he lives in a cave and can’t even touch grass without getting weird about it.

Pitch x Reader - Disappearing Act

Pitch you BASTARD.

You missed him so much it ached.

Years of your life he had spent dipping in and out of your nights, scaring the absolute piss out of you well into your twenties.

Slowly though, nightmares that had once been borderline torture became spooky weekly catch ups, his laugh leading you through mortal terror into something...not nice, but tolerable as you slept. You’d while away whole nights chatting, playing, stealing time, and now he just-!

You roll back onto your bed with a scowl, wiping your eyes harshly. He hadn’t shown up in weeks.

Ironically, your nightmares now revolve around his absence, or him being hurt nearby, his voice ringing out in pain through your subconscious maze - but no matter which way you turn you only get further away, your efforts fruitless.

You wake every time to find no trace of black sand, and it makes you want to cry and hit something.

Maybe the conveniently sheepish looking shadow on your bedroom floor, with a shit eating white haired child sat on his back, would be a good target.

“Pitch?! And, uh, who the fuck-”

The white haired child cheerfully waved his shepherd’s crook, and you felt a winter’s brisk breeze gleefully whiz around the room. “Hi! Name’s Jack Frost – nice to meet you – here on boogeyman special delivery service!” He gleefully bonked the staff down and froze Pitch’s arms to the ground with a crackle. Pitches voice ticked into the kind of strangled swearing you’ve only been able to manage when you accidentally got too mushy and turned his sand golden.

Jack skipped to his feet and dived for the window. “He’s got something he wants to saaaayyy!!! Bye bye!” Aaaaand he’s gone in a swirl of snowflakes.

You turn back to the scrabbling form of your longtime headache, still awkwardly stuck to the floor via his hands and forearms. Pitch caught your gaze for a second before turning away, mortified.

You sighed, sitting next to him. “Hello stranger. Been a while.” You plapped your hand on the ice, hissing at the cold as it began to melt a little faster. “...missed you.”

Pitch jerked around, golden eyes wide and oooh, was that guilt? That looked a lot like guilt, but you wouldn’t know given how he normally looked haughtily down at the world via his nose.

He chuckled humourlessly, biting out his answer. “...You shouldn’t.”

Ah. One of those bouts of self pity and needless flagellation was it? Well.

Luckily you’ve developed a longstanding tactic for such events.

You snorted and flopped elegantly on top of him, squishing him down and snuggling in even as he sputtered. “Well. I do. Despite your best efforts.” You poked him in his gaunt ribs, taking full advantage of the fact his hands are stuck to really snuggle in there as the room becomes swallowed in shadow. Good luck escaping with you in limpet mode, Pitch. You figured out ages ago he can’t teleport away if you’re holding onto him.

“C’mon, love.” You squeezed gently. “Talk to me.”

Pitch grumbled and sighed as though opening his mouth was tantamount to the world collapsing around his ears. Your weight on top of him always made his head go fuzzy, and you’re distractingly, stupidly warm.

You wait a little longer. The world doesn’t end when the words quietly come.

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS AU IDEA

(I was like you know what if DC already has Santa why not make a rise of the guardians AU.)

Tim drake died trying to save Bruce his body falling into a frozen a lake, the last view he will ever see as red robin is the moon, and the last thing he will feel as he drowns is how cold it is.

He awoke hair white as snow and barely any memory, he looks around for anything that can tell him whom he was and he grabs the small bump from his pocket. A piece of paper that’s practically destroyed the only word legible is the word Jack, was that whom he was, he wonders.

He gets up clothes soaked, he knows deep down he should feel cold but he doesn’t. When he encounters others no one interacts with him he thought it was rude but realises eventually no one can see him.

Three years later. He doesn’t age and no one sees him. Any leads to whom he was now gone, the only thing that linked him to who he was the boo-staff that was completely white, and frost covering it.

Basically same plot as the movies.

Oh, and Ra’s is the one to track down and recover what’s left of Red Robin a utility belt frozen under ice, and it had a USB with all the information needed to recover Bruce. And Ra’s gives it the league does it only to taunt the league and the remaining bats and torture Bruce when he returns of the robins death.

Three years go by.

Tim still has no idea who he is going by Jack Frost because frost was what Saint Nick, nicknamed people still can’t see him.

He’s sort of a guardian sort of not he can’t allow himself to fully join something stopping him.

Season 3 Rapunzel from Tangled the Series (I rlly like this specific dress)- under skirt and over skirt found (not ordered), sleeveless turtleneck maybe found (also not ordered). Sleeve patterns (both poofy and long sleeve) need to be found, ribbon needs to be found (large dark purple, pink frilly (?), purple), sleeve fabric needs to b found (look for pink and a purple as close to underskirt color as possible), I’m not even touching that wig until I finish the dress.

Kai from The Hollow- thrift his shirt, order and style wig T-T, 3d print fire. All I’ve got is my love for this show and red led’s for the fire to glow.

Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians- find this man’s damn hoodie (why is it so hard to find💀), finish his staff, find, order, and style the wig, have pants. Paint frost on hoodie and staff when found and finished.

I had a lot of fun with this one. For some reason, Jack's pose was easier to figure out, while Nightlight's was trickier. One of those "it fit in my head, not on the canvas." (please ignore Jack's weird way of holding the staff, it worked in my head)
