Ja Morant standing up for his American gun rights. This is clearly bigger than basketball.

Get up stand up, Ja is being treated poorly.
I read this espn article about THE Ja Morant. To me Ja is the best player to watch since AI. That dude is just amazing. Granted I love to see the rise of the big men with Embiid, Joker, and now the notorious VIC but Ja still gets my attention. One of my favorite artist is THE Bob Marley in get up stand up talk about the day great Ja will come from the sky. Seeing Morant dunk (even the ones he misses) is like seeing what Marley described. Back to the articles, a scout talks about how 4 years ago he was “perfect, no red flags” and now the “alligators” have got him. First, I want to read my scouting report because it had so many red flags it probably looked like a Maxi-pad. Second, the scouts are rarely correct, they are made right by what they wrote being taken as gospel by the power in the nba. I start with those two points to ask what did Ja do that was so bad he is getting treated well like me. Well Not me, if it was me I wouldn’t be allowed to speak up and if I did like I did when it was my time under the spotlight of scrutiny it’s a death sentence for your career. Ja can’t say this so I will. “What the fuck did he do wrong?” He had a gun!!! Ja is above the age of 18 and under his rights as a United States citizen he is able to do so as long as he is with in the rules of the laws of the land. Granted the Colorado strip club (believe me I know how shootings can go down at strip clubs or or or in front of a 5 star hotel that leaves a bullet ridden Rolls Royce phantom in its wake) was stupid. For me after those two events I was asked to speak on gun violence which I abhor I later found out it’s because I speak the kings English and on that ground I refused to do the interview/ public service announcement. This is what I saw, to the country the image of a black man is already scary enough with out having an AR -15 strapped to your side, but that’s not our problem. Our problem is the fact that if it wasn’t for things like the 2nd amendment I highly doubt that the shackles of slavery would have stayed physically off instead of them being hidden in law. Is what Ja doing smart. The answer is no, but the nba has no rules saying players can not own guns (which they have a right to do if they choose to) and this is not a place to pull out the race card but ask your self if Ja was Jerry Morant posted him with a gun while hunting do you think there would be the same outrage. Maybe animal rights people but that image of Jerry holding a gun and Ja doing the same spark two different reactions from the social conciseness of this country. Ja needs to stop being an idiot and understand that he may inspire a young kid to pick up a gun instead of a pen. That is him being aware and in youth awareness past your genitalia is rare. In this ignorance Ja has made bad choices but none of them should be grounds for a suspension or even the hit piece ESPN did. I thank god that David Stern is not the commissioner and Silver is. Stern was a dictator Silver is a leader and hopefully this leader can see that suspending Ja gives him what he wants. He wants to be seen as the bad boy because he grew up in such a nice environment compared to most he feels he has something to prove. This battle to prove your blackness was something I went through. From my teammates asking if I was gay due to the way I talk or not being black enough because the majority of my friends were not black. This is a similar battle he is going though. Taking him away from basket ball will only acerbate this issue and turn something that could have been minor into a tragic event.

Defending Ja Morant's Right to the 2nd Amendment | Upholding Individual Freedom
Instagram Live Video Woes The recent video of Ja Morant holding a gun has ignited a heated debate about gun ownership, responsibility, and the public image of professional athletes. However, it is essential to approach this matter from a perspective that prioritizes personal freedoms and the protection of constitutional rights. Instead of succumbing to sensationalism and knee-jerk judgments, let…

Fake gangsta culture in hip-hop has real consequences…Ja Morant and others will learn
Fake gangsta culture in hip-hop has real implications…Ja Morant and others will learn #JaMorant #NBAYoungboy #NBA #gunvideo #TheRichestOpp #MemphisGrizzlies #suspension
(May 18, 2023).  As anyone with an eye on current events knows, NBA star and 2020 Rookie of the Year Ja Morant was suspended by the league on Sunday (May 14) after more footage surfaced on Instagram of the baller showing off a gun. The suspension—Ja’s second in two months—was shocking in its similarities to the first.  In March, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar was suspended for the same thing,…

Saying he had learned his lesson following his suspensions by the NBA for two incidents in which he brandished firearms, a reformed Ja Morant told reporters Wednesday that he was way more into swords now. “I did some soul-searching during my time away from the game, and I realized guns should have no place in my life when swords look sick as hell and never get jammed or run out of ammo,” the Grizzlies point guard said before his team’s season opener against the Jazz, resting a massive 3.1-shaku ōdachi over his shoulder as he explained that while his main priority would be “big ass” swords like claymores and zweihänders, all edged weapons—from shamshirs and falchions to kunai and kukris—would be a focus for him going forward. Hi Owner,
How are you doing? I hope everything is well.
I can’t find the anons statement about the comparison between Josh Giddey and Ja Morant. The good thing is the parents hired a lawyer, so hopefully there is a court case. Hopefully Josh Giddey pay for his crime. What I don’t like is when people within the black community don’t held some black people accountable. Ja deserves that punishment. It’s more than carrying a gun, it’s the fact that he didn’t comply to the NBA rules not once, but twice. To go deeper, Ja was acting like a stereotype. Sorry not sorry, but it’s people like Ja that makes the imagery of black people, look like we’re ghetto and don’t have any couth. He was blessed with a long career and money and wants to act stupid. Whenever a black person partakes in a low vibrational, role just know there’s a group of white people smiling. Ja is someone who comes as a try hard and corny.
I really need black men like Ja to understand, that you don’t need to act like a gangster or be a stereotype to be like by low vibrational black people.
I also want to mention that the NBA league need to stop protecting abusers, just because they can win couple of games.
i don’t agree with ja being a stereotype and making us look bad. the whites see us that way regardless and respectability politics takes us nowhere. this perspective is extremely ill informed anon
