Eddie and Buck were in the kitchen, doing their normal after dinner routine. Eddie refuses to let Buck do the dishes after he’s just cook a whole meat for him and his son, and Buck refuses to sit back while Eddie cleans. So as Eddie washed the dishes, Buck dries them and puts them away. Each working perfectly in sink, expertly attuned to one another, to their partner’s needs. And man, don’t each of them wish that that word means more than it does.

“Bucky! Can you come help me with my assignment?” With out a word, but with two blinding smiles, Buck puts away the fish in his hand, knocks shoulders with Eddie and leaves the room.

As Buck heads into the living room Eddie can’t control the find smile that stays on his face, he can hear his partners foot steps slowly fading in the direction of his son. He can hear his smooth voice questioning Christopher on what home work he’s doing and he can hear Christopher’s voice, in that hushed tone which means that his son is roping Buck in on one of his schemes and trying to keep it a secret from Eddie.

And right here, right now, Eddie has never been more content and happy this this is his life.

For when Elizabeth finds out about Smoon being the slashers I had this idea of how it'd pan out. Like Elizabeth takes her dad's truck out for a spin even though she's like the worst driver ever..(she's a beginner it's finee) And midway through the drive, going down a random dirt road she hits some guy that Sun and Moon were targeting.

And when she goes to check on the guy she sees the guys(or maybe just moon since he's more hands on idk) and starts pleading for them not to call the police on her cause she definitely killed the guy. And then she realizes who they are and is like 'holy shit what the hell are y'all doing out here..' and they just stand there looking at each other and Elizabeth just runs back to her dad's truck and leaves.(without telling anybody of what happened cause she'd get in trouble but she also is fond of the guys and would hate to see the arcade get shut down. her only safe haven besides her bed for real lol)

she comes back in the arcade the day after she found out, after school or whatever and she is all like. 'i won't snitch but can I join' and proceeds to come in the following day with some dumb getup that was definitely rushed and is like 'ok I'm ready to stab or whatever' even if they say no 😭

Also I have a question, would the slasher boys let my Sona get involved in their killings, maybe as an alibi, bait, to help clean up the scene or to keep tabs on people they could kill since she can interact with other kids and report anything she hears from the other kids at the arcade to the duo. If not that's totally okay(I get them saying no since Elizabeth is a kid) I just wanted to design a slasher outfit for Elizabeth. I mainly just have an idea for her to wear a decorated motorcycle helmet to hide her face/protect her from head injuries^^

So I think you’re correct—Slasher Sun and Moon are very unlikely to let a kid or teen get directly involved in things. They might be kinda cracked, but they would definitely see letting her participate as contrary to their convictions because they would be putting a child in harm’s way.

That being said, I do really like this image of Elizabeth somehow finding out about them being slashers, confronting Smoon about it, only to then offer to help them 😂. It’d be an emotional rollercoaster ride for them.

They’d come down from full panic mode once they realized that Elizabeth wasn’t gonna go to the cops, but now they have to figure out how to let her down easy about joining them. And deliberate how to make sure she still stays quiet about everything. A bribe might be in order. Claw machine toys? Plastic dinosaurs? Perhaps if she plays her cards right, one of the massive stuffed animals behind the prize counter that usually goes for thousands of tickets 😛

Also—just her ignoring them and showing up to the arcade in her slasher fit anyway saying “okay I’m ready.” 😝 Give Sun a heart attack.

How would the DMC guys react with their partner having anger issues stemming from childhood trauma? They can be working on their temper with the DMC men encouraging hobbies or activities to alleviate stress.

Their childhood could be dysfunctional and now as an adult they have unresolved issues with negative emotions making them frustrated/annoyed/ irritated over small things.

For example the s/o can be minding their own business but one small thing can make them huffy in irritation. They don’t mean to act like that, but it’s like instinct to raise their voice.

-On rare occasions when you are away from a bag that you can punch, Vergil allows you to punch his palms as hard as you can, since it is unlikely that you would hurt him.

-He's not the best at verbal comfort, but his hugs are warm and strong.

-Will give you food after an outburst because he knows anger makes one hungry, and vice versa.

-Nero is prone to bursts of rage just like you are.

-Sometimes you get into fights over this very fact.

-Still, Nero knows you are the way you are because you went through some shit, just like he did, and knows not to take anything you do too personally. If only you thought the same.

-Often suggests using exercise to calm down, which results in you guys going for runs or long walks together.

-Will listen if you want to get anything off your chest, but he's not that good at giving advice.

-Remembers that sometimes he wanted hugs when he was angry, so he goes and gives some to you when you're angry. Peak logic.

-V is a very calm person, so he handles you with ease.

-A hug from V and a few comforting words are usually all it takes to calm you down, if not completely, then substantially.

-Encouraged you to try making an anger diary, where you write down all the things that make you mad.

-Shadow is surprisingly helpful, too. Who knew petting a fluffy monster would soothe your soul?

-V does get a little hurt by your abrasive comments, but Griffon reminds him you're not you when you're yelling.

-V just tries to be there for you, because while you are very grouchy, you can be sweet and loving, too.

The Leader of a Queer Generation; The Rocky Horror Picture Show

(This is another college essay we are posting for funzies lmao, enjoy!). (Also had to censor it, sorry!).

With the fall of the Hays Code, the queer demographic was finally able to have their own cult classics and media culture. Most prominently was The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Richard O’ Brien) in 1975. For a bit of history. The Hays Code was in effect from 1934-1968. The Hays Code was a rigid set of rules for television and film that stated all delinquent behavior must be punished on screen. If a character did something immoral, they must suffer the consequences, the consequence usually being death. The Hays Code itself outlined what it deemed to be immoral behavior. Among that list was anything remotely queer. This is where many tropes and writing tools were developed such as the “Burry Your Gays” trope or queer coding. The Hays Code was lifted in 1968 and replaced with something similar to our rating system today. So, what did that mean for queer audiences? It meant it was time for them to be the stars!

​For the first time in decades showrunners and movie makers could show queer activity on the small or even big screen! The most notable product of this time period was The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Originally a musical performed onstage in the early 70s that was adapted into a film in 1975. The original musical and movie shared a similar cast, most notably Tim Curry as the main antagonist Frank-N-Furter. Frank was a self described “Sweet Transvestite from Transexual Transylvania” (O’ Brien 1975). The word transvestite was very different than what it means today. In 1975 it was equivalent to Frank telling the characters Brad and Janet (but also the audience) that he was transexual or transgender (as those terms were not in frequent use until much later).

Speaking of Brad and Janet, they are the audience’s “straight man”. To quote David J Getsy “One cannot be queer alone” (Getsy, 2017, para. 2). This is to use the original meaning of the word “queer” as in weird. You cannot be weird if there is no normal, so Brad and Janet are the stand ins for an average American straight couple. Throughout the movie though we see Brad and Janet start to learn things about themselves at Frank’s castle. After Frank has s*x with each of them separately they start to see things differently. Janet becomes more open and lustful with her sexuality making many advances towards titular character Rocky. Janet is also seen making out with another girl, Columbia. Brad while less confident, still learns some preferences he did not know he had that can be considered “out of the norm”. Another popular reading being he was a closeted gay man as well. Brad and Janet learn with the audience that it is ok to explore one’s sexuality and gender identity. While Frank-N-Furter does in fact die, the Hays Code still has no effect here as Brand and Janet get to live out their lives after their newfound discoveries.

Brad and Janet aren’t the only ones who have a good time in the castle. In the “Time Warp” the audience along with Brad and Janet are introduced to Riff Raff and Magenta, a quirky sibling duo. Later in the song the character Columbia introduces herself. She tells the story of how she met Frank-N-Furter and how he changed her life. Later in the movie we are also introduced to Eddie and Rocky. Eddie being a former lover of Frank and Columbia’s. Rocky is the man Frank-N-Furter makes, very Frankenstein esq. In the song “Rose Tint My World” each character performs in a floor show expressing how Frank’s lust and freedom has rubbed off on them. Some like Brad and Columbia have their reservations but choose to wear those rose tinted glasses, while Rocky and Janet are completely accepting of this new found life. Eventually the evening is cut short when Riff Raff kills Frank as well as Rocky and Columbia. Riff Raff does this as he proclaims Frank-N-Furter’s lifestyle was just “too extreme (O’ Brien, 1975).

Just like Brad, Janet, and everyone else in the castle, the real world also has a tradition inspired by Frank-N-Furter (and The Rocky Horror Picture Show). Performance groups acting along side showings of the movie become vastly popular. As did a script of “counterpoint dialogue” the audience would shout during the movie. It was also tradition to throw toilet paper at the screen during certain scenes in the movie (although this one has fallen out of fashion at some theaters, being deemed “rude”). For these events the audience can dress however they want! The idea was to be comfortable and be yourself. This means many people show up in similar fashion to the movie. Gothic, gram rock, corsets, you name it! It is a night of community and fun.

​In 2016 The Rocky Horror Picture Show was remade as a filmed stage musical titled The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again (Kenny Ortega, 2016). In this production, actress Laverne Cox was casted as Frank-N-Furter. Cox is a transwoman, marking the first official time Frank-N-Furter was played by an actual transwoman. Laverne Cox is also African American and finally sheds some light on black queers in this production, something sorely lacking in the original production. There are stark differences in the interpretations of the character Curry and Cox portrayed. The outfitting of Tim Curry’s Frank-N-Furter implies shock value by using feminine clothing to show off a masculine body, while Laverne Cox’s costuming is more feminine in nature. Cox’s Frank-N-Furter is still compared to the “straight men” of Brad and Janet but not in an oppositional nature.

​The influence of The Rocky Horror Picture Show still goes on today. There are still many notable screenings of the movie with live actors and scripted audience responses. The 2016 remake was just one production of many put on through the years. Popular media nowadays even references The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Even in places you wouldn’t expect such as kids shows like Phineas and Ferb (Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh, 2007). The Rocky Horror Picture Show introduced an audience to queer culture and continues to be a part of said culture many decades later. The way in which this movie carried itself into queer culture signifies its strong se of rhetorical devices such as; ethos, logos, and pathos. The ethos present in the film is that of Frank (who has experience) showing the characters AND the audience how happy they’d be to give into desire and to simply be themselves. This ties into the logos being that these characters do in fact end up happy in their newfound situation, especially Janet. The pathos plays on the fact that all humans have some sort of desire they push down. The Rocky Horror Picture Show uses these literary devices to tell its queer audience for generations to be themselves and have fun!

The tank was the only home they’d ever known. Though they were young when they’d been taken from the ocean, it had always been cruel to them. The tank, on the other hand, was made with them in mind. It was comfortably large and filled with things like plants and hides for enrichment.

They loved seeing their caretaker, even if he never had much time to spare. He moved briskly whenever he walked by, never even offering a slight glance towards them. Eye contact was a rarity. They didn’t know why he scowled whenever he was forced to face them. His disgust, whenever he tossed the long-dead fish into the tank, made their guts twist with guilt. They’d done something wrong, they were sure of it, but they didn’t know what it could've possibly been.

Maybe something was wrong with them. The water made it difficult to hear anything from the other side of the tank, but they knew one word he used frequently. “Beast”. That’s what he called them. It hurt more knowing he’d handled other people like them before. Sometimes, he’d even smile at someone. They’d never seen the same person twice after someone was wheeled away in a cooler. There was no need to take any of them out of their tanks after all. They found it strange how they'd never seen any of the other enclosures, but it was the only place they could be. They were sure of that fact.

Besides their caretaker, there was another human that came around every once and a while. She had bright eyes and a playful smile constantly fixed on her face. Her fascination with them was a stark contrast to her caretaker’s aversion. The woman would always come and tap on the glass and grin when they came up. With her hands, she’d make little motions and signals. It took them a while to pick up on the language, but with a bit of time, it became easier to hold a conversation. They’d managed to learn her name. Mel. They were called Marley by her, but they’d never heard their caretaker use that name for them. Or any name, for that matter.

Once, they’d asked why their guardian looked at them the way he did. They noticed the way Mel bit her lip before she responded. “He’s like that to everyone. Don’t take it personally, okay? He likes you plenty.”, she signed. Then, they asked about why he never seemed upset with the others. Her expression shifted into one of horror, then deep discomfort. All she said was that she needed to leave, and then she did. They heard yelling a bit later, but they weren’t able to discern why.

They had a feeling that whatever it was, it was their fault.

My Persona 5 S/I is basically-- well, me (bubbly and annoying) and nothing else lolol I literally insert myself in the universe with some plot changes and it's fun!! She likes space and music! Cuz i do too! :D She's also an indie musical artist but it's like more of a hobbie than anything! (Even if it does helps with money and all! she also does haves some good amount of followers on the niche! But nothing big out of the indie bubble) She wants to work as a songwriter for a famous singer one day!

Her background is nothing crazy but I made some silly changes, like aging up my irl brother (he's currently a lil baby and I made him a lil kid :3) and making me live with my grandma! (fucking love my grandma kisses grandma!!) Also some dramatic aah stuff like dead mom and no dad for me (the basics) 😭😭 My S/I has a strong special interest in space!!! Which is something I'm getting really into lately! So I made mommy an astronomer! She was like best friends with Wakaba (scientific nerds lol) and Sojiro so S/I was very close to Futaba since childhood for that reason!

She is a phantom thieve (shockerz) and uhm I wanted to use my personal experience as a bullied child growing up (mostly because of ableism) and turn that into motivation to make justice, since no one did that for me before!! (Grr goddamn adults!) And finding my own group of weird little people made me much more open and generally happy in real life! So that's what I'm doing on this universe as well! ^^

He is her inspiration to get better, so she will get at his level one day! He also makes extra suggary cappuccino to her when she goes to Leblanc 🤝 ☕️

Ryuji Sakamoto

- Her relationship with him is pretty much the chaotic duo type, shes always giving him death stares when he starts to talk about girls or some dumb Ryuji shit like that 😭 Her and Morgana are constantly slandering him for the funzys, but Ryuji also likes to pick up on her so they're eternally on a war-- and in general they are two loud dumbasses who share the same braincells and have little silly banters 🤲 also HC that Luna helps him dye his hair 🫡

Ann Takamaki

- Her relationship with Ann is the girly besties type, constantly going out shopping, Ann usually helps her to buy her clothes since Luna definitely can't pick her clothes on her own without it looking weird 😭 they also go out allot to eat! Try the newest deserts all around Tokyo! Those two would probably kill for a chocolate cake. And they are getting progressively more poor because of that... She likes to paint Ann's nails and style her hair for fun! because she personally thinks Ann looks like a pretty porcelain doll!

Yusuke Kitagawa

- Her relationship with Yusuke is another of pure admiration!! Yusuke admire Luna for her artistic side on the music and Luna's eyes sparkle at every little sketch he does, I like to think that Luna (just like me) is an artist for fun who really has allot of trouble with drawing certain things that aren't fanart lol, and they go out on little panting sessions togheter. Like I dunno go to Inokashira Park to draw the scenario and his comes out like the next monalisa and hers is like... Blue and Green all mixed up togheter. And she probably got her clothes dirty in the process. He does encourages her to continue tho! And gives her tips that she usually doesn't get-- so uhm sensei Yusuke Ig?

Makoto Nijima

- Her relationship with Makoto is... *sighs* very sibling-like too. Luna isn't the best at school, and always cry for help when it's exams week 💔 Makoto usually scolds her for being too careless at everything, school, metaverse, crossing the road-- but only because she really cares about her. Luna is like the little sister she needs to lookout for so she doesn't get herself killed by accident. Oh fun fact but Luna is also very afraid of Sae (just like me im afraid of pretty woman) so yeah she freezes when she steps in the room 😭

Futaba Sakura

- Oh boooyyy Futaba time!! My relationship with Futaba is so silly and fun and I wanna yap about it!! Ok third person mode on--

So, since they were basically raised togheter, they are pretty close to one another, and have gathered the same types of interests through the years. Since I have the Autistic Futaba HC, I like to imagine that they get each other more than anything, engaging in parallel play most of the time when she was a shut-in. And I like to imagine that Luna was pretty much the only person she talked to at first after her Palace. Also HC that they play Pokemon United togheter. Cuz I said so. They exchange allot of gifts related to their special interests too! Ugh I have so many HC's for us but basically we are best friends forever two little chaotic autistic sillys but i help Futaba with her social anxiety! yipeee :3

Haru Okumura

- Her relationship with Haru is the tea time besties, they talk all day over a good cup of tea and Haru frequently gives her tips of how not make her plants die (very important, I never can make them live...) which is a hobby Luna really is trying to... make possible... (plz don't die this time) and generally her time yapping with Haru is a very comforting one, usually when shes feeling dramatic she goes and hugs Haru and makes her little drama, and Haru is usually the only one who's like "Oh dear :(" and stands her when she's being extra or cheers her up when shes actually sad too! 😭 shes such a sweetheart! <3 don't be mean with Mona and Luna! Haru is gonna politely ask you to stop. (Looking at you ryuji)

Morgana

- Her relationship with our favorite not cat! He's... Morgana. We know him. But Luna can be considered pretty much his #1 fan???? She thinks he's HELLA COOL like the best phantom thieve ever!! (I love morgana!!!) She really respects him and Morgana is really grateful to have someone that looks up to him (Luna looks up to lots of people! ><") Luna also likes to pat him. Allot. (IM A CAT PERSON OK) which well he doesn't mind but still he's not a kitty that you can just pat like that!!! (He's purring)

Sumire Yoshizawa

- Her relationship with Sumire is... damn, Luna is LOUD. And well we know that Sumi isn't exactly as extroverted as she makes herself seem when she takes on the Kasumi role. So uhm let's say Luna is overwhelming-- very overwhelming! 😭 She's always jumpy and bubbly and is constantly trying to cheer Sumire up, turning into some type of cheerleader for her when she starts to self-depreciate in any way, being overly affectionate and in general being extra EXTRA around her since she gets very worried about Sumire's mental health-- So yeah, Luna is basically constantly cheering her on and admiring her for being able to make things she can't (Even if Sumire doesn't think they're that great :< )... ooh we have another extreme admiration case here!!! Maybe the person she admires the most! Hell yeah! Give my girly some love!~ My bestie <3

No, really tho, our relationship is... I can't even describe it, but our dynamic is DEFINITELY the "aww they do care about each other" type-- I constantly enjoy to annoy the hell out of him, just because it's funny?? I'm the devil from the bible. Er... so... the thing is, Akechi constantly get dismissed through story for obvious reasons, he's openly agaisn't the Phantom Thieves and later they do have much MUCH more motives to not fuck with him-- but Luna? DAMN. That girl is I N V E S T E D In being friends with him. Specially on the start, his sob stories actually made her pity him and get all "aw he's miserable... 🥺" lol so she constantly insisted on being his friend, even tho he was internally screaming and trying to push her away, she was CONVICTED. SHES A FRIENDSHIP MACHINE BABY. YOU CAN'T ESCAPE HER!!

So with that forced proximity, they eventually started getting closer, and it was something very... slow? Definitely. Luna never cared about hiding herself no matter how weird people seemed to find her, maybe he would admire that... envy that? Who knows.

Suddenly he started to enjoy her company. Even if she was... oh well a little dumb, yeah, he definitely thinks she is-- He never had people who were close to him, and definitely didn't had someone THAT determined to bother him 24/7. So about the end of the current episode

I thought about it and I am pretty sure that V is not actually dead.

Here's a couple of ways she could live (with varying degrees of possibility):

J saves her. Maybe she went after the others in time to save V

Eldritch V. A thing to note here is that now Uzi is Vs admin instead of Cyn so that maybe affects how that works. Also there's probably enough corpses for her to be rebuilt by the program.

She has a backup like J. Not much to add here although it would probably take a bit for her to get back

She somehow manages to fight off the sentinels, but may get pretty injured (although this one is a bit unlikely, as one of the sentinels was already going for a bite).

Crack theories (for the funzies):

V befriends the sentinels and rides them into battle

She's immune to the sentinels because she's practically blind without her glasses lmao

So yeah in conclusion. I think V will live, but she will either get a badass entrance, be near death's door or a giant worm.

Moth - The Eye moth is your source of information throughout the game. they know more than the interloper, want to understand more than the interloper, but the information is... overwhelming. the implications, the experiences they sift through. its a hell of a lot.
