twitch streamer au where eds been streaming horror games (by himself) and fps’s (with izzy) for years and stede is a brand new animal crossing streamer

stede picked up the game so he can play remotely with his kids after his divorce and he got super into decorating his island

izzy finds out ed has been watching stedes channel and thinks he is hate watching. izzy begins encouraging his and eds followers to bully stede

(some of the followers are dicks but actually most of them push back because theres nothing wrong with playing animal crossing even if izzy thinks it is a baby game for babies and stede seems like a perfectly nice guy)

ed reaches out to stede to apologize for izzys Shenanigans and he decides to buy acnh himself and they stream stede coming to his island to help him get set up

ed invites stede to play whatever cool fps they are playing (idk these things i pay less than zero attention to fps’s but its the most badass one that all the hardcore gamers like) and stede is Bad at it but he has a wonderful time

izzy ragequits halfway through the session but fang and ivan welcome stede to their team and try to help him not die instantly (he keeps dying instantly anyway)

at some point they start playing stardew valley together off stream, just for themselves for fun

and they continue visiting each other in animal crossing and watering each others flowers and bringing each other cool crafting recipes they found

and obviously (obviously) they fall in love and mutually pine for a good bit while starting to hang out in real life as friends and then of course they finally kiss

and then the first time they stream stardew valley is their stardew valley wedding and thats how izzy (and all their followers) find out theyre in a relationship
