Angela is very good friends with Alphonse and Hershel. Though, Her and Alphonse tend to spend more time together, gossiping or just hanging out and having fun! They often skip classes together to go shopping or visiting a cafe, sadly Hershel wouldn’t dare skip, she’s too busy in class!

Unmentioned in the main bullet; Angela is decently good friends with Henry. She doesn’t get to talk with him much since he’s kept at the ascot mansion majority of the time, but when he’s with the group, she enjoys his company greatly.

Angela and Randall have a rocky friendship. They used to be really close since they were itty bitty critters but, things seemed to really drift apart after Randall’s father had gone missing. Both Angela and Alphonse seemed to distanced themselves from her. They didn’t mean to, Randall just started acting weird once she found this mask that her father had owned. Nonetheless, they still hangout with Randall now that Hershel joined the friend group.

•Brother

Angela’s brother in this au is named Giuseppe (NOT THE ONE IN CANON LOLL!!). He was about 18 when he had gone missing. He and Izan (Randall’s father) were pretty close since they both had an interest in ancient civilizations. With one being relatively close to stansbury, they decide to check it out. Sadly, after that day, He hadn’t come back. A few days past and a picture is hung up in the hallway of Angela’s house. It had a pot of chrysanthemums on the end table where the frame was hung. Angela didn’t know what it meant at the time so she assumed that he just went off to college, at least that’s what her mother had told her.

Aeria Gush Post 4

evUsual warning: This is going to be a long post with some spoilerly content. Welcome to my ted talk where I gush about the inner workings behind my comic and my favorite panels. 💙Episode 4 Part 1 Iris is in the middle of kidnapping Mira. I like when villains slip info to the reader that the main character doesn’t know yet. Iris calls Mira “Sol Maidena Aeria”, a title of some kind that must mean something if Cal’s group and the Aposaarian group think she is of some great importance, but what does that have to do with their plans?

💙Episode 4 Part 2 While unconscious, Mira has a dream about her past. She recalls a boy with dark blusish-black hair and pointed ears. He reminds her a lot of Cal. Then, there’s this girl with blonde hair covered in markings. Sort of like the younger version of the woman from her first dream. Pretty strange 🤔

💙Episode 4 Part 2 The scene shifts to the two adults in the dream. On the left is the (retired) Izan (King) of Iyu. Cal’s grandfather. On the right is Izara (Queen) of Ethania, Loirreanna. Mira’s birth-mother. The two have a chat about the future of the two children. An agreement is made between the two adults to continue the play dates. A detail I love about this panel is that Loireanna is wearing Aeria’s necklace, but the gemstone is grey. Some jewelry on Ailithyia serve alternate purposes (some can transform into weapons, armor, ect.), but they are bio-locked to keep everyone from using them. We know that the gemstone glows when Mira is wearing it, but she hasn’t unlocked its full potential. We’ll see more about the necklace in season 2.

💙Episode 4 Part 3 Mira wakes up in her room. After fighting Iris, Cal used her dorm I.D. to get them inside. Last thing Mira remembers is getting the wind knocked out of her.  

💙Episode 4 Part 4 Cal begins to question Mira about her past. There has to be something that she can remember about her mother, right? Anything? Mira claims that she doesn’t recall a thing. Cal then tries to tell her about the necklace’s curse; how it turned her human and took away her memories of her past life. Mira thinks his claims are quite the stretch, but when Cal offers to try and undo the curse to prove his point, she agrees if only to get him to leave her alone.

💙Episode 4 Part 5 Cal uses his magic and does his best to undo the spell. He can’t quite get rid of it, but he does manage to allow Mira to see what she really looks like in the mirror. The blonde-haired woman from her first dream. Turns out, she is Iylven and the necklace is cursed (for now). 

💙Episode 4 Part 6 During Mira and Cal’s talk, a figure is scene standing outside their door listening in. What’s more, this doesn’t look like Nathan. They’re wearing lipstick, so they must be one of the female students at Sylvia Rose’s. Is the culprit Chrissy? One of Mira’s friends? 

💙Episode 4 Part 6 Mira begins to question her entire life. Especially the part where her father is a geneticist at a government lab. Was she a science experiment to him all this time? Does he even know? What would he do if he knew? The reader knows something is up- Dr.Harthan was texting Nathan at lunch. They’ve got some kind of plan and it involves watching her.  I also wanted to leak the name of the company in the background; B-Tech. One of Mira’s friends is Nathan Backous; his dad, Tomas Backous, owns and runs the lab.

  💙Episode 4 Part 7 Cal drops the big news on Mira; She’s a Princess and Iylven of royal blood have powerful magic. From the Aposaarian’s standpoint, holding her hostage or using her in their plans to change the government would give them more political standing on homeworld. From the human’s perspective, they could experiment on Mira to figure out how to recreate magic for their own kind. Or use her as a weapon against other countries. Either way, neither option sounds good, so Mira becomes more interested in what Cal’s group is trying to accomplish. He insists on taking her to New York City to where the starships are docked; there, they can figure out how to get her back to homeworld while protecting Mira from the Aposaarians. Mira agrees to go, although admitting to herself that she isn’t comfortable traveling with people she barely knows.

💙Episode 4 Part 8 Mira changes out of her school uniform. The clothes are a loan from her friend Erica- Mira realized she still had the outfit after looking through her wardrobe for something else to wear, but all her civilian clothes were at her dad’s house. I liked including this detail to tip people off about who the person outside the door was. Cal decides to have them leave through the window. Mira is against this, but Cal insists that they won’t be climbing down. He offers to carry her. I enjoyed the excuse to draw Cal holding Mira bridal style.

End of Episode 4. Conflicts are piling up and while we did get some answers, there were a lot more questions left behind. Some questions that will be answered this season, some others that will be answered in later ones. Mira finally knows that she’s not human- although she hasn’t completely accepted it yet. And while she isn’t on great standing with Cal or his friends yet, they’re not her enemies either. "Rin, is Ran home?" the younger Haitani only frowned at your question before looking at his brother who's talking to their other Kantou Manji members. "Both of us are at a Kantou Manji meeting. Why?" your silence terrifies Rindou before you eventually speak up, "Ah… Is that so. Never mind then."

"Y/N… What happened?" Rindou interjects before you manage to end the call. "Ah! It's nothing really. It's just, I think he might have forgotten we had a date today…" you trailed off before continuing "BUT! That's fine! Both of you guys are too busy, I understand." your obvious tone of sadness through the phone call lit up something inside Rin causing him to sigh at his brother's idiotic actions. As if you can sense his turmoil, you piped up *It's fine Rin! I guess we can always reschedule it. Thanks anyway!" and ended the call.

Huffing, Rindou walked over to his brother, hitting his back. "What the fuck Rin?" Ran curses before patting the place where he was hit by his brother. "Did you forget anything?" seeing confusion in Ran's eyes only made Rindou wanting to hit him harder. "Y/N called. Did you forget your date today?" at his statement, Ran's eyes widened before grabbing his phone to see 30 missed calls and 19 messages from you asking where he is, the last one being half an hour ago. Upon checking his calendar, Ran curses as he remembered that today also marked both of you guys' 4th anniversary. Bidding the Kantou Manji's members and his brother goodbye, he jogged away to his bike, aiming to repair his damage.

"Honestly Rindou?" Rindou perked up hearing his name before looking up and seeing all of the Kantou Manji members looking at him, with Koko who was the one that called him. "What."

"Honestly, why didn't you take Y/N away from Ran?" Rindou was taken aback by Koko's question and looked at them in disbelief." What the fuck you mean by that?" his defensive tone only made Sanzu snicker. "Exactly what he means Romeo." Sanzu said teasingly before dismissing all the members.

(Meanwhile at your place)

You don't know what were you expecting when Ran came to you but the fights and screaming fest that's going on is totally something you'd been preparing for.

"Oh please Y/N, you know who I am. I can't put all the attention on you just because you're my girlfriend! You were fine before this, what the fuck happened now?" Ran tried to defend himself even more.

"I'm a member of Kantou Manji Y/N, I can't always stay with you! I stayed there long enough to have many enemies come to you. I'M PROTECTING YOU!, I PROMISED YOUR BROTHER I WOULD! I DON'T WANT YOU ENDED UP DEAD LIKE HIM."

But Ran's words only aggravated you even more," Shut up!" you screamed. "Can't you see? I didn’t care about all the details. I just wanted you!”

"Whatever promises you had with Izana, I don't care about it. I just want you. You and me. We both against the world, remember?" you chuckled brokenly.

"Fine. Y/N, would you do the honour of being my wife?" silence ensued between both of you before you broke it by chuckling in disbelief "What the hell Ran?"

"I said what I said. Kurokawa Y/N, would you do the honour of being a Haitani?"

here's my ccme experience!!

the wheel storie is in other post and i'm too lazy to link. but my brain is still stuck in I WAS 2M CLOSE TO I CHAOS FRATELLINI AND LIKE 5 TO ETHAN AND DAMI.

ccme organization was amazing... until the last 3 hours. måneskin was supposed to play an hour between 22:30h and 23:30h. the show had an usual 20-30 min delay but the real problem started because the antepenultimate artist did an 1h 20' show. måneskin couldn't wait another hour to play. so there was a big confusion because the artist that was supposed to play right before måneskin had to swap places with them - and we waited like 15 minutes without any kind of information, there were three big screens covering the stage but i could see how ethan's drum set was setup and i heard vic tuning up.

so we got a messy first performance and damiano angry at the organization - when he said it was the last song, we booed and he replied "blame coca cola, not us".

also, they didn't play gasoline even tho it was in the setlist. they did a really short show and the poor last singer only played 30 minutes.

but we got LA CAMISA NEGRA as i predicted. "tenemos un presente para vosotros" aw that melted my heart.

somebody should have told damiano that it's "vamos", not "vamo".

dami and giorgia's kiss... a lot of people was confused because they didn't know she is her girlfriend.

vic's nipple out for half then show and she still got a lot of screen time and even crowdsurfed. this is europe, baby!

crowd shouted for damiano and victoria. few people did for ethan too (saying /izan/... i shouted the italian pronunciation louder and earned some confused looks). i tried to start it for thomas but nobody followed me - 40% of the people there only knew beggin' and talked about damiano as "that handsome boy i don't know his name".

covers thingy. i like womanizer but i wouldn't put it in a reduced setlist. as the founder and only member of the "defend il ballo della vita squad" i would love to hear moriro da rè or any other songs of that cd instead of covers.

all in all, the atmosphere they create is fucking amazing. can't take my eyes off them. i know streaming made like only 2-3 close ups of ethan but we had additional screens and there we got the daddy screen time he deserves.

i have some videos and stuff but trust me, you don't want to hear my horrible voice screaming every word.

so, Arvid is half alien (I say half but he's more like three quarters, actually,) and he's a second generation character to mine and Todd's collab project.

warning for a little bit of trauma lol

Arvid was bullied pretty badly in school. one of his peers pretended to be his friend to play jokes and stuff on him, and it all escalated to one point in middle school where Arvid finally tried to stand up for himself, but he was stabbed by the "friend" and hospitalized because of it.

Arvid's whole persona is "I'm super tough don't fuck with me" but on the inside he is *so* soft. he's also a gay disaster. he has a boyfriend named Izan and they are so freaking adorable together, but he also has crushes on other guys (don't worry, they're polyamorous :3 ) and Arvid cannot talk about his feelings worth a crap. he keeps them all bottled up and believes he can't cry because of being teased for it as a kid.

Arvid is very close with Amanda (his mother and Todd's oc), and he used to be close with one of his sisters, Amber, but she abandoned him and caused a lot of drama in the family because of it. she has since come back into Arvid's life, but he is having a hard time trusting her again after being hurt the first time

Arvid has the greatest power ever. he can summon meat. that's right, just ground beef right in his hand. (no but seriously, Arvid hates this power and wishes he had something cooler slfjkskdksn)

he loves bugs! Arvid has a pet tarantula, but he also studies entomology as a hobby and is so fascinated with watching bugs and helping them and stuff.

Arvid is the embodiment of "be gay, do crimes" and he and his friends do a lot of thieving, vandalism, and bastardry

oh, also! Arvid is part of the same story as Dawson, Cyra, Niserum, and Ares. idk if anyone remembers, but Ares and Niserum want to get rid of all superpowers and people with those superpowers, which includes Arvid (even if his power is kinda weird) and Amanda. Dawson ends up being forced to kill Arvid and Amanda, so that's fun :3c

Kaixo! I just wanted to share that there are also Basque people in Brazil! My abuelo immigrated here in the 60's and I even have a Basque last name (with the spanish spelling, sadly). We try to keep our traditions alive even though most people around here have never even heard of Euskal Herria or Basque people in general. It's a good feeling to explain to people our amazing culture, language and history, and I always tell people to take a look at your blog for that! Um beijo para vocês! Agur!

Home sweet home  and Gender reveal.

Hello my friends!. It's been a long time since the last time I've posted here, I'm sorry about that. We've been busy with the moving and other personal projects. But I finally have some free time to post an update for you all. Luke and I have finally bought our own house together also our first property and a huge investment as well, During the last two weeks we've been working on the decoration of the house. Amara, Leire and Blaze also helped us decorate and painting their own bedrooms and they had a great time helping us. About the pregnancy everything is going pretty well, we just finished the nursery of our twins and as you can see in the photo down below, we are expecting two boys!. Our children have helped us choose their names after a contest where we all wrote our favourite names on a piece of paper, then we put them inside of a little box and the winning names were Izan, name chosen by Blaze and León, name chosen by Luke. So the two men of the house have definitely won this game!. :D

True Appearance: Ali resembles an Erkuss with glittering skin of deep purple and indigo hues, very similar to the night sky. He used to rely on a sformer to mask his true appearance, but after decades on Earth, he eventually learned how to disguise himself. He still needs to wear brown contacts to hide his constellation eyes.

Backstory: Unlike most Erkuss, Eika Iz’an didn’t adopt Alioth to take advantage of the rare opportunity to have a Djayyar under her wing. She just wanted a child. Eika and her partner always wanted children, but luck didn’t seem to be on their side. When her partner unexpectedly passed away, Eika knew she wouldn’t find a love like that again, and to honor her partner, she dedicated herself to making their wish come true. After years of searching, she found Alioth and knew he was meant to be her son–not only until he matured, but for as long as she lived.

They spent their first few years together living on Kraysha, but she quickly noticed the envious looks she would get from her community, and she began to fear for her son’s safety. While rare, there were cases of Djayyar getting kidnapped from their adopted families. There were so few of them that acquiring them became a competition. Eika decided the safest place for her and Alioth would be on Earth, where they could blend in with the humans who knew nothing about her son’s rare species. With a sformer on hand, Eika used her questionable connections to secure a spot for her and Alioth on a ship heading to Earth and started their new lives in the United Kingdom, changing their names to Erica and Ali Izan.

Earth was already a strange planet that they had to adjust to, but they were also living in Post-World War II London, and they didn’t stay long before moving onto the next country. That was just the start of Ali’s trek around the world. The sformer masked his glittering skin, but it didn’t hide his slow aging, and to avoid suspicion, they never lived in the same place for too long. The young Djayyar learned early on that there was no point developing close relationships outside of his mother. He could never tell humans the truth about who he really was, and by the time he grew comfortable in his new home, it was time to leave again.

There were merits to their nomadic lifestyle. Ali became something of an Earth expert after being exposed to so many cultures. By the time he had the appearance of a teenage human, he was fluent in numerous languages and had attended so many schools that his brain was full of useless trivia. He loved to learn though, so after he graduated university the first time, he simply moved, changed his name, and re-enrolled himself into another one.

Ali met Skylar at NYU. It started as an easy friendship, but Ali almost immediately fell for the quirky human in a way he never had before. He was so used to keeping people at a safe distance, never indulging in anything more than a quick fling or a one night stand. Maybe it was because they had such a strong connection, but there was something about Skylar that made it too hard for Ali to let him go like he did with the others. Despite his feelings, he was still careful to keep his secret. He no longer needed the sformer to disguise himself, but he always wore his contacts around Skylar and was as vague as possible about his past. Ali knew it couldn’t last, eventually he would have to explain why he barely aged, but he still wanted to try to make it work.

Ali would never get the chance to tell Skylar the truth anyway. A few months into their relationship, the human seemingly left out of nowhere with barely anything but a weak explanation. To Ali, it was like he disappeared out of thin air. Other than the fumbling voicemail he received years later, he never spoke to him again. It was a harsh reminder that he wasn’t meant for serious relationships, and he told himself that would be the last time he let a human get too close. It was also the last time he enrolled in university, deciding it was about time he started the career stage of his life.

Just like with schools, he didn’t stay at a job long before moving on to something else. With all his credentials, there was almost no limit to what he could do, it was just a matter of what he wanted to do, which was harder for him to figure out. He tried a little bit of everything–teaching, translating, even the monotonous nine to five job, but nothing ever stuck. Part of him believed the reason he couldn’t settle was because he didn’t belong on Earth–that the only way he would find his true place was if he returned to the stars.

Ali and his mother never fully lost communication with their home planet. The plan was always to return when Ali was mature enough to protect himself, but they got so comfortable with their life on Earth that they kept delaying their journey back until it was too late. The sad reality of having an Erkuss mother was that Ali would out-live her by several hundred years, but that time came sooner than he was ready for. Now that he was alone on Earth, he finally got in touch with one of his mom’s old contacts, Clause Mazrinon, and arranged to get a ride and a job on The Prosperity, serving as their translator and cultural expert. He has no idea that he’ll be running into someone from his past.

Skills: Aside from the abilities he was born with as a Djayyar, Ali is fluent in multiple languages after living all around the world. Ali took advantage of his slow aging and attended university multiple times, so he’s just extremely smart in general and has a plethora of useless knowledge. He’s basically an expert on everything related to Earth from history to culture.

mind's going crazy rn folks, here's a couple of the changes / additions made to bones' carrd:

- bones' last name has been changed to soche. - izan's family are descendants of indigenous muisca people. his ultimate attire as bones is recreated to replicate as close as he can to traditional attire. as a result, izan's cloak has been changed to a hooded ruana (a muisca mantle) that is white in color with a purple, ornamental strip on the edges. beneath that, they wear a white mantle, white pants, and a black tank top. they are adorned with small gold jewerly; such as a gold bracelet and gold earrings. the only remains izan has from their parents. - more verses have been added! list includes now: eye of michael, devil may cry, final fantasy vii, dc universe, general fiction, jujutsu kaisen (tba), resident evil (tba), and kimetsu no yaiba! - final desire changed.

for Izan

I met izan, or, in her own words: “Name: Louise Izan Elin, Wahlander Lind (eh, kinda long, i know!!)”, in a Placebo chat room called the-raft back in 1999. Although we never met in person, she was a vibrant and interesting person to talk with, one of the most creative people I ever knew and I was lucky to have had her as my friend for the short period I did. We lost touch in the years after 2001, but she was always someone I remembered, and always thought would be there. It was with great shock and sadness to discover that she had died in 2004 when still so young, 25,  and under circumstances that I still think tragic.

I’ve always felt in a way a custodian of what she sent me in the time I knew her. That it should be shared rather than existing on my hard drive with the chance of it all being lost as so nearly happened last year. I’ve decided tumblr would be the best place having a strong artistic community. That this can serve as an archive, a celebration of what she shared with me. I know she had many friends around the world who cared about her.

MADRID: The cycling season resumes following the coronavirus lockdown on Tuesday with a host of the sport’s big guns taking part in the opening stage of the Vuelta a Burgos. The 2020 edition of the stage race in Spain features a strong peloton, with riders preparing for a hectic run of prestigious events, with the three Grand Tours to be held in quick succession due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The UCI World Tour resumes on Saturday with the Strade Bianche. Professional cycling ground to a halt four months ago, with the last top-level race the Paris-Nice in March, which saw the final stage cancelled. In February, the UAE Tour ended early due to an outbreak of COVID-19, with Colombian Fernando Gaviria one of the first athletes in the world to test positive for the virus. UAE Team Emirates sprinter Gaviria, who did not confirm he had recovered until March 26 and did not travel back to Colombia until April, will be in action in Spain this week. “It’s time to pick up where we left off,” he told his team’s website, saying he was happy just to feel normal on a bike again. Gaviria’s teammate Fabio Aru said: “We are all eager to be able to pin a race number on our backs again and be back in the peloton.” Ineos’ Giro d’Italia champion Richard Carapaz and Vuelta a Burgos double defending champion Ivan Sosa will face stiff competition in Spain this week. Gaviria will be bidding for the sprints while veteran speed king Mark Cavendish is also back in the saddle after illness. In the first of five stages around the northen Spanish region, local hero Alejandro Valverde will likely be in the mix up the final stretch of a short, sharp ascent to the Mirador Del Castillo, which overlooks the town. The 35-year-old British sprinter has 30 Tour de France stage wins to his name, but says he is going to Burgos for Landa. “We are going there to support Mikel, he’s in incredible form,” Cavendish said in a press release. But sports director Gorazd Stangelj said the Manxman would also get his moment in the sun. “We have tailored our strategy to open up a GC opportunity for Mikel, and sprint wins for Mark,” he said. Alzaria

A short Fantasy Story

           It was a clear night in the land of Alzaria.  The howl of the wolves rang through the night as the ranger jumped through the trees trying to keep the high ground to avoid the ravenous beast that were after him. He was almost near the village where he would be safe from the beast of the night that plagued the forest of Delzura. The ranger could see the village’s outer wall coming up in the distance, but the wolves were gaining.  The closest of the wolves jumped into the tree behind the ranger.

“By Varkstra!  I’m nearly there; better do something to get these wolves off my tail.”

The ranger turned to face the growing number of wolves up in the trees.  The ranger pulled out his bow and notched three arrows back and took aim. The arrows sink right between the wolf’s eyes and blood gushes forth from the wound. More wolves appear to avenge their fallen comrades.

“I don’t have time to deal with you foul beasts! May you have a swift death.”

The ranger reaches into his quiver and pulls out a shining arrow that makes his hand glow with power as he draws his bow aiming for the biggest wolf in the pack.  “Good Night, filth.”

The arrow flies into the wolf pack leaders head and the light grows bigger and brighter until it explodes showering more shinning arrows down upon the other wolves of the night killing them all.  The ranger turns to face the village and takes a second to look into the sky; it was only a waning crescent if it had been a full moon that would have been a great deal harder.

 The tavern was lively on that clear night many of the usual patrons enjoying their ale and mead.  There was also a band of people that the tavern had never seen before.  A bunch of mysterious folk come in and out of the tavern in Selistine but this had to be one of the strangest of them all. It’s as if they were gathering for some quest that would shake the very nature of this land. The group was muttering to themselves and keeping a low profile.

“Finally, the last one has arrived now, let’s get down to business,” said the thief in a bored tone.

“Sorry, I got held up in the surrounding forest some wolves picked up my scent and tried to make me into dinner.” The ranger chuckled as his own joke.  “My name is Loki of the Slyverfox clan, from Baristaka way in the north Retisar Mountains.”

“My name is Yuki, of the Oda clan far east of this land.”

“Azeri, of the Black Talon clan.  I think that’s all that needs to be said.”  The other party members looked towards the last member sitting at the table he said nothing.

“So, why have you brought us here?”  said Loki.  The old man was silent, then took out a black tome and flipped to a blank page and wrote on the old parchment.  My name is Izan, I have gathered you all to this place to offer an opportunity of great fortune, if you choose to accompany me. I need all of your help to defeat a great evil that has been unleashed.  The black rider has risen once more.  

“Well, what do I get out of this deal my time does not come cheap old man,” said Azeri.  Izan wrote again.  Long ago when the black rider was at his height of power he amassed a great fortune and hid it deep within the Kristal Mountains guarded by his faithful dragon Chrysophylax who has been guarding his treasure for nearly twelve thousand moons.

“But that can’t be, the treasure of Chrysophylax is a myth,” exclaimed Azeri.  It is as real as you or I.  “Why do you only speak through writing Izan,” inquired Loki.  My words are a burden, I can not utter them lightly without grave consequences I am a Necromancer.  I have a map.  We shall take this path to the Kristal Mountains, first we need to navigate through the Blackwood forest, then across the Chasm of Delintri then up the staircase of perpetual darkness into the Kristal Mountain.  Once there, I shall explain further.  “Well, we better be off, while we still have the cover of darkness, if we are caught by the Ruby Order we’ll never hear the end of them,” said Loki getting to his feet and adding under his breath “A member of the Black Talon clan, they may be the best thieves, but every officer of the Ruby Order is on the look out for them. What is this Izan guy thinking.”

The legends were going to be tested, the quest of all quests was about to be taken by this group of strangers; a hawkeyed ranger, a thief who’s reputation is known far and wide, a mysterious claymore from the east and a necromancer who uses no words.        

The party exits the tavern and heads out of town under the cover of the night.  The streets are barren as most inhabitants have turned in for the evening.  The only thing piercing the night guiding the party is Izan’s flaming skull staff. This journey is sure to be a long and treacherous one, a quest that may have no survivors.  The party travels southwest from Selistine towards the Kristal Mountains sticking to the back roads until they reached the heavily wooded area ahead of them.  It was nearly mid day when the party stopped to rest having traveled a fourth of the way to the Kristal Mountains.  The party sets up camp in a well sheltered area in the Blackwood forest beyond which lies the Chasm of Delintri.  Loki leaves the camp in search of food.  The party welcomes the chance for a rest and to refuel.  Azeri stretches out next to the fire and rests her eyes for a moment. Yuki crosses her arms and stares blankly into the river where she has set up a fishing pole.  Izan stays alert in case of any sudden attacks and has slipped into a meditative state that heightens his sense to near superhuman levels. The party awaits the return of Loki.

 Loki returns baring a monstrous sized boar on his back and the party dines on roasted bass and boar meat while Loki tells of what he has scouted while out hunting.

“For the time being we are safe.  The nearest village or town is several leagues away from this camp site,” the ranger takes a long drink of water from his stein. “However, I did spot some Urugalt tracks half a league away. We might want to consider moving after we have finished the meal.”

“That is probably the best course of action, the Urugalt tend to travel in massive hunting parties and would slow us down if we are discovered,” said Yuki.

The party finishes their meal and packs up the camp dowsing the fire as well as Izan casting a masking spell as to not be tracked as easily.  The party continues onward urging their horses to gallop at a brisk pace.  

The party reaches the farthest most edge of the forest thinking they have made it through safely when in the distance a band of Urugalt blocks the parties’ exit.  The party quickly dismounts. The Urugalt were snarling at the party and one lets out a roar that caused the party to cover there ears trying to block out the terrible sound. “Guess there isn’t a way out of this,” Yuki said.  

The Party drew their respected weapons and braced for the Urugalt assault that would be coming any second now.  The first of the Urugalt comes charging at the party roaring its battle cry bearing a notched blade the size of an adult tree and a shield that looked the size of a castle gate.  The party is quickly surrounded by the Urugalt, Yuki is the first to strike back at the Urugalt diving straight into the heart of the army hacking and cutting with the speed of a person possessed.  Loki climbs into a high up tree with the aid of Azeri’s cloaking amulet and assumes a sniper position picking off Urugalt far in the distance piercing through the Urugalt flimsy armor with ease.  Izan summoned a small army of skeleton to protect him as he cast spells of fire and shadow, melting the Urugalt insides.  Azeri sneaked her way to the Urugalt army flank and was eliminating them one bye one; forcing the Urugalt to split into several smaller groups to face each individual enemy.  Yuki having dived straight into the giant Urugalt army was surrounded by what seemed like an endless sea of enemies, took out her second sword and lifted the protection spells from the cursed sword by saying its name “Zetsubou” causing her eyes to change into those of a demon as the rune 絶望 etched on the blade shines a bright red to match her eyes; shadows from the sword enveloped her entire body so that only a faint outline of Yuki is visible. Her demonic eyes like pin prinks of blood in a sea of black.  Yuki cracks her neck and with an amazing speed increase starts to obliterate the Urugalt surrounding her.  Loki having taken out a good chunk of the Urugalt army starts imbuing his arrows with light magic shooting four to five arrows on one draw of the bow having them stick in the giant foes and exploding into showers of more light arrows that rained down on the Urugalt.  The Urugalt army begins to thin out and sensing defeat the remaining Urugalt retreat.  The party takes a quick breather and continues onward into the Chasm of Delintri.

A Dense fog surrounds the Chasm of Delintri.  The party reaches the aged bridge that spans the length of the massive chasm.  “Are you sure this bridge is safe Izan, this looks like it might collapse at any time.”  Flame letters appear above the party’s head that read, Of course Loki; this bridge is not what you need to be worrying about it is the monsters that hide within the fog that you should be on the look out for. Azeri scoffs, “Show off.” Izan takes the lead on the bridge the flame of this staff not even visible after only taking a few steps into the fog.  The rest of the party follows Izan into the fog.  

The party travels across the bridge cautiously trying to hear for any sudden ambushes that may come out of the fog.  Around half way through the Chasm a high pitch screech comes from somewhere to the left of the bridge.  Loki shoots some arrows blindly into the fog.  The screech comes again closer to the bridge this time.  “Damn, I can’t see anything in this place.”  The party quickens their pace across the bridge. More screeches can be heard from both sides of the bridge as the party attempts to get to the other side of the chasm. The assailant collides with Loki pinning him down on the bridge.  Azeri quickly turns around and shoves a dagger into the harpy’s back.  Loki tosses the dead corpse off the side of the bridge and gets back up.  “Thanks.” The party takes only a few more steps when more harpies ambush them from the cover of the fog.  The party faces back to back and continues slowly across the remaining section of the bridge while repelling the onslaught of harpies.

Once out of the fog the staircase of perpetual darkness is in sight.  It seemed to stretch for an eternity.  The party starts climbing their way up the side of the mountain following the stone staircase.  Up, up, up, up, up the party goes, when the moon and the stars disappear and all light is consumed except Izan’s staff however the light can not penetrate the darkness that has engulfed the party.  Suddenly a light appears ahead of the party.  It appears to be floating just above the party a few levels higher on the staircase, the party goes up to the light Izan touches the light with his staff.  The light goes inside the eyes of the skull on top of the staff.  The party continues up the staircase.  A scuttling sound can be heard coming out of the darkness, followed by the clicking sounds.  Izan bangs his staff on the stair and light suddenly reveals; spiders, multitudes of them. The light starts to dim.  The party draws their weapons and waits for the spiders to make the first move.  Izan sits down on the stairs and closes his eyes taking a deep breath. The light suddenly becomes bright and gives the party just enough light to see about four feet in all directions, the rest of the party circles around the now floating Izan who has become the beacon of light.  The spiders attack the party swiping at them with their front legs and snapping their pincers.  Azeri and Yuki start slashing, stabbing and hacking a path forward up the staircase while Loki covers the rear attacking any spiders attempting to attack from behind. The light from Izan dims as he writes another message in the sky.  Cover your ears and close your eyes, quickly. Izan opens his mouth and speaks one simple word “Lux.”  A wave of light comes forth from Izan’s staff burning the spiders into dust.  Izan suddenly coughs up blood and collapses to the ground.  Loki opens his eyes and helps Izan to his feet.  The moon and the stars return to the sky bringing an end to the intense darkness.  Izan shakily continues up the stairs with the party.  

Finally, the party reaches the top of the staircase and enters the opening to the lair of Chrysophylax.  The party makes their way through the ancient city that had once been home to the king of Kristal Mountain many moons ago. The party quickly navigates through the city and finds a stone bridge leading further into the mountain.  A shadowy figure stands on the opposite side of the bridge its flaming eyes burning brightly.  “A shade!” Gasped Yuki.  “Sure!  A shade, what else could possibly be preventing us from getting to this treasure, Loki yelled exasperatedly.  “Wait, what is a shade?”  “Be quiet you idiot,” snapped Azeri.  The shade spots Yuki who had drawn both her swords; “Zetsubou,” Yuki stands in the middle of the stone bridge Azeri by her side both waiting to see what the shade will do.  Loki and Izan remain on the stairs.  The shade extends his arm out and an axe appears, it has runes all over the blade that burn just as the shade’s eyes do.  The shade hovers over to where Yuki and Azeri stand on the bridge, Yuki and the shade stare down each other.  The shade raises its axe and swings it down, Yuki parries the blow and starts slashing at the shade.  The clang of steel on steel echoes throughout the mountain.  The shade catches Yuki across the shoulder with the axe and grabs her by the neck.  Azeri sticks a dagger into the shades side but it does no damage.  A bright blue arrow sticks inside the flaming eye of the shade; it stumbles back and drops Yuki.  Azeri quickly grabs a hold of Yuki and they both vanish into thin air.  Loki keeps the shade busy by shooting magic arrows into its body.  Yuki and Azeri appear back by Izan and he starts healing the wound.  The axe had left a very deep gash in her shoulder severing the collar bone.  Izan worked quickly to heal the wound as the shade approached the party.  Yuki gets to her feet and rushes toward the shade they collide on the bridge and a shock wave is sent out.  The shade looks down at Yuki her sword protruding out his back. Yuki slices up with the sword and cuts the shade in half from the stomach up.  The shade lets out a howl as the shadows disperse leaving nothing but a skeleton and the flaming axe behind.  Deeper still within the ancient city, in the lair of the black rider Chrysophylax’s eye opens awakening him from his slumber.
