What's the name of the animation? I want to try something and see if I get a different result. If you're using my conversion rigs, do you have the newest ones?

The animation’s name is a2a_danceClub_dance_medSkill_loop3_x. I didn’t know you have uploaded your conversion rigs! I made my own conversion rigs so there’s a high chance I messed something up.

I have no idea about animations, but it looks a bit as if her feet don't touch the ground when they should. Have you tried looking at the animation in milkshape in the orthogonal instead of perspective view?

It seems okay in milkshape. The animation in game VS in Blender/Milkshape is very different so I’m wondering if there’s a problem with the way it’s exported in SimPE. I export the animation using Sims2 AniMesh ANIM Exporter V1.0.1.

I actually kind of love the clunky dance :'D like it's shame it didn't work out as supposed but I still think it's pretty damn cool to even get this far with it.

Yeah!! It was very funny to see the animation in action. Fortunately the upper part of the body works like a charm so there’s that!

One of these things is not like the other lol. I'm going to guess clothing joint assignments mess with it. Hilarious regardless.

I think the clothing joints are included in the animation file. Maybe I shold remove it and see if it does something. Thank you for the suggestion!

These are beautiful! How does this work now, you put the pictures in the paintings folder and have a sim paint them as a custom portrait?

Actually I use them to make object recolours for the Simple Frame by threadsandpaper. Poppet actually made a very easy to follow-tutorial for how to do that using a photoshop template, and the process is actually pretty quick once you get a hang of it. Posing sims is the most time-consuming part lol.

I’ve made over 50 of these for my story hood and they really do make their homes look more lived in.

Awesome! I suck at renovating. I've been playing with most of my houses as remakes from @frottanasmakeovers​ except for the Goth house, and it's the house I play the most, so I finally decided to give it a freshening up with the paint and floors. Took me forever and looks pretty bad, lol. I can't wait to see what you do with the Pleasantview houses

I’m actually pretty terrible at renovating, which is why I think this is taking me so long lmao. Funny enough, I think that the Goth house is the one I’ve played the least-- Cassandra has almost always moved in with Darren Dreamer, and with her went the excitement of playing that house. That’ll be different this time, though 😈

So I just thought I’d let you know, sometimes errors in my game are not from mods at all, but from objects. I had an object that straight up just froze my sims in place. And the last time I played, I was getting a jump bug that made my game completely unplayable, and unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to which object it could have been, but it was right after decorating a shelf w/objects, I had to exit without saving and returned to the lot pre-shelf and it was fixed.

Thanks for replying! I don’t think I made any changes to my lots since last time I played, and I think I’ve got it down to two of my mod folders now, but I’ll keep this in mind for future errors!

Unfortunately it did. :( The animation came out different in game than in milkshape even when editing all the keyframes. I did managed to fix some leg flickering but the whole body rotates when it shouldn’t. Too bad it looked great in Milkshape...

It is! It has a lot of keyframes though so it’s a bit painful to edit each one!

Does ts3 have better rigs that can actually be used for ts2? I'm working with ts2 rigs right now trying to make custom animations but the rig itself is pretty limited.

I don’t know if there are better S2 rigs. I currently use these for TS3 and these for TS2. I don’t think we can add additional joints and make the game recognize them.

Yeah I imported the result, made some tweaks and there are still some joints that needs to be improved.

Hey there, I have your baby personality mod and have noticed that when a baby is born I get a dialogue box come up with just yes and no buttons with no explanation, and pressing either one seems to change nothing. Someone who only has the last name chooser mod says that happens to them, so it might be part of the last name chooser. I don't get any option to choose the last name. There are no conflicts showing up in HCDU. Maybe you have an idea why this might happen? Thank you.

Hi! I’m afraid I don’t have access to my PC right now so it’s going to take a while before I can properly look into this, but when I was playtesting the mod (and I did playtest it a lot) that dialogue worked just fine so huh, weird? Does anyone else have this problem? 

As I didn’t make the Baby Last Name Chooser (I think it’s safe to assume that the problem comes from it) I’m not very familiar with that part of the code and I’m not sure what might be the issue here. Could you lend a hand @midgethetree?

You need to copy and paste the strings from inteen so that they replace the strings in the exact same positions in baby personality, which are 0x5 and 0x6. 0x5 is a blank string in baby personality and 0x6 is “Choose which parent gets parental leave.” which is only needed if you have the birth options mod. You need to replace these with “$Me's pregnancy has unexpectedly ended in a spontaneous miscarriage.  $Me will need extra love and affection during this difficult time.” and “That was a close call! $Me is experiencing pre-term cramping and contractions! $Me will need to improve her diet and get plenty of bed rest for the balance of her pregnancy.” respectively for the miscarriage dialogs in inteen to display properly.

I’m glad you like it!  Gameplay note: all of the Gen 2 names come from a custom randomizer txt I compiled from mostly Hebrew and ancient Babylonian names.  Some more Greek-era names like “Gaia” snuck in there because I couldn’t bear the thought of waiting two generations for them to start showing up.  The randomizer spits out three names for each sex each time, and I pick the name I think the parents would be most likely to pick themselves. 

Linguistics note: because Hebrew, the pronunciations of a few of the Gen 1 Sims may not be what you think they are: “lay-ha-VEEM” “toe-VYE-ahh” and “no-ell.”
