A blaze flared in the night.

Ivybranch: Fire!

Suntiger sprung out of the warrior's den with the others. Fire! Something about Ivybranch's cry stirred something in her. Not just the need to put the fire out, but the urge to watch it. Listen.

Suntiger lept into the medicine den and helped Ivybranch in escaping. The other warriors worked on smothering the flames by rolling a log over them.

Suntiger: Are you alright?

Ivybranch: Yes, thank you.

Suntiger collapsed from exhaustion. She had to spend the next few days in the medicine den!

Next week, on the border of ForestClan territory and the TwoLeg place, Wolfwillow, Goldenpaw, and Mosspond patrolled.

Wolfwillow: I hear someone coming.

Goldenpaw: Not a TwoLeg?

Mosspond: Use your senses. Does it seem like a TwoLeg?

Goldenpaw raised her snout. No, it did not smell like a TwoLeg.

Lou: Hello?

Wolfwillow: Who are you?

Lou: I'm Lou, I live in the barn across the field.

The tom flicked his tail toward the barn.

Wolfwillow: What are you doing on ForestClan territory?

Lou: I'm just looking for some herbs.

Wolfwillow: You're not trying to join the wild cats?

Lou looked excited for a moment, but looked reluctantly back at the barn.

Lou: No, no I'm not.

Wolfwillow let the loner fetch some herbs and return home.

Meanwhile, Oakpelt was running for his life.

Oakpelt: I'll lead him away from us! Just tell the clan what happened!

Batsong heeded the other cat's order and sprinted back to camp. The enormous dog was barking and snarling and chased after Oakpelt.

When Batsong tore through the entrance of the camp, the clan cats looked her way.

Batsong: Oakpelt is leading a dog away from camp!

Murmers broke out. Would the deputy be alright?

Two hours finally passed before Oakpelt reached ForestClan camp. He collapsed, exhausted. Owlheart lead the charge of licking his wounds and comforting him. Ivybranch brought over some herbs.

Oakpelt: He's gone... for now.

Most my clothes I buy nowadays is thrifted, and it's not just because I took a lower paying job. When you work at a thrift store, you really understand how things work, where things get put, and where/how to find gems. And frankly most clothing is uhhhh overpriced anywayyyyyy. Even my favorite brands are overpriced tbh. The only time I don't thrift clothing is 1) underwear. I'll thrift bras & shit though, as long as it's clean. and 2) specialty items/small businesses, or if I'm looking for something very specific. Alt clothing (including bimbo) & small businesses especially falls into this category, but generally if something has a really unique design I'll buy it new
