anyways when mickey was in juvie the first time he didnt get out early because he was trying to convince himself he didnt give two shits about ian because ian was very clear (even if he thought he was being subtle which like. ian come on youre very intelligent i need you to grasp that not once in your life have you ever been subtle) about the fact that he gave many shits about mickey but when he was in the second time he got out early on good behaviour because ian was done letting mickey hurt him (or at least thought he was) so mickey knew he had to see him and make things right
