I'm loving the fandom archaeology artworks that you've been finding. It's so cool to see what people expected from the series and characters early on.

I joined the fandom in late 2016 and I was talking to my friends just recently about how much things have changed since then with fandom interpretation. Teru as manipulative or two-faced and Ritsu as super mean and over the top rude were big ones. Also, I think people leaned in more to the sort of surreal horror aspects, especially before the final arc.

Anyway it's been a pleasant trip down memory lane seeing those reblogs and I hope you keep looking! Your blog is a lot of fun.

ty!!! yea looking at old fandom stereotypes and discourse that has long since been resolved is super surreal. the whole reason i started doing this was because i wanted to find manga liveblogs from the confession arc and i started finding pre-anime fanart from like. early 2016. and i was like. how far back can i go.

so far the oldest tumblr mp100 content ive been able to find was a liveblog from later 2013. i know theres more out there but the further back in time you get the less people are tagging their stuff. the oldest piece of fanart is probably out there untagged on some random deactivated blog with like 20 notes

13 - Any show/ book/ fandom/ etc you’ve been meaning to get into?

There's,, so many,,,, I got a list long and it's never-ending.

I don't necessarily plan to enter a fandom specifically though, it depends on the base material, some I'd go looking for fan content some not really.

I think currently, it'd be The Witcher and Our Flag Means Death show-wise, book-wise I got The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet that I want to get invested into but barely started, Nevernight as well.

Manga/anime wise, probably the manga version of Iruma-kun, and Catsy did make me want to try again Bungou Stray Dogs (I just, never picked it back up after the first ep for no reason,,)

hi, i have some bad news.

I've realized that I havent been posting or updating as much and i know why; im falling out of the DSMP and currently no longer have the motivation or the feel to write about them unless im bored, and instead ive started to join other fandoms (anime, your boyfriend, etc) which is practically taking over my liking of the dsmp (that doesn't mean i dont like the dsmp, im just not as fond of it anymore).

Due to this, ive decided im going to make a new account where instead i can write and post about my other fandoms, which i will soon add here when my account is fully ready and set up.

I understand that I haven't been writing for a very long time. which is... not surprising in my defense. Ive been in the dsmp for way longer than i have been writing so its no surprise that im falling out of it before ive even really gotten far on my blog.

this doesnt mean that im going fully inactive, i might drop by a couple greetings and updates, and if i ever feel like it maybe a couple fics every now and again.

im sorry to those of you who sent requests and i never posted them -- ive been very overwhelmed lately which makes it hard for me to ever want to really do anything in general.

I dont necessarily feel like i really need a masterlist because i havent been writing for very long so i dont have much (and my links arent working for some reason but i'll figure it out when i can) but ill be sure to keep it posted on my blog.

thank you to anyone whos been with me from beginning to end; the amount of love and support i received from my short time here was immaculate and i simply cannot thank you guys enough, really, it means a lot.

I think that this blog has overall helped me improve me writing, and i genuinely hope that some of you would be interested in checking my new blog out once its ready, because i will miss you guys.

Hi! Sorry to bother, but you're really good at art and I've liked your style for quite some time now and I wanted to ask, how many years did it take you to draw as good as you do? Like side profiles, hair, outfits full body in general? I've been trying for years and I still can't draw. (Probably half due to the fact that my school wouldn't let me in art classes and we never actually learned art in elementary. Just cutting, pasting, and coloring.)

Ngl ive been drawing since early elementary school. Ive been drawing so long i could scarecely tell you what hobbies i had before i even learned to hold a pencil that didnt include doodling or creating of some kind.

I drew while in class bc it gave me a task to do to make listening to the subject easier, i drew at lunch and at home, i always make sure to have a sketchbook on me so any spare 15 minutes that i have while not at home and want to spend it drawing can be quelled doing so easily. There is scarcely a task ive done more frequently than drawing that doesnt involve basic hygiene requirements. I am drawing and creating and planning on drawing at all hours of the day every day, all the time.

I honestly just. Have the internet to thank for exposing me to fandoms as early as it did. I was very much into sonic the hedgehog and mlp as a kid so i drew alot of that. It was really only late middle school early highschool that I finally picked up drawing people with any real want or skill to do so. And it was only mid highschool(aka around when I joined the sanders sides fandom and my reasons to draw humans consistantly and often skyrocketed) that i started to really form a consistent skill at it??

Theres alot of tutorials online, i even put together my own 'how to draw things' yt playlist from videos i'd had to draw to while in my animation classes in highschool bc they absolutely helped me hone in on alot of my weaknesses.

I always start with whats gonna give me the most trouble. Is it the pose? Is it the hand position? How are the body proportions? What clothes do I plan on drawing? Am i coloring it? How many people do i plan to draw for a piece?

Practice practice practice. Learn how anatomy works, roughly anyway. Enough to understand how to keep things proportionate to eachother. Once you have that as a tool to work with and start from, then you can more easily branch out into whatever style you want to make/try. The 'how to draw' playlist i made covers alotta those bases for you, if your interested. But. Yeah?

so i started back in 2012? maybe? idk i started shortly after joining tumblr (funny story: people told me to check/join tumblr bc one of my anime fandom fics was being talked about?? they were so damn lovely and i've been on here ever since lol) bc all the graphics and gifs looked so fun to make. basically, i started by reading tutorials on this very site covering the basics: how to create a file in ps, how to make gifs, how to add overlays, how to find resources, etc.

some tips? honestly just experiment once you get the basics down! and if you wanna get good at something, practice will never fail you or set you back. with more practice (and if you're just having fun creating things) you're gonna naturally improve without even realizing it.

this one i made for jin’s bday! his houndstooth beluti jacket was the ABSOLUTE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE my LORD. unlike most of the things i draw i only had like...3 nonpotato reference photos of jin in it so i tracked down the jacket and figure out what the stupid pattern was. his eyes also made me want to punch my laptop and chuck it out the window bc i couldnt get his hamster face to read “jin” after like 320849032 iterations and erasing one pixel here and adding another pixel of a slightly different color there. i finished the entire thing within minutes of needing to post it in time for his bday even though i started more than a month earlier aojgiroeajgiior

by jove this most recent one of bangtan dancing from their chilsung ads. i started this back in september/november thinking it would take like 2 weeks at most HA! i barely finished it in time to harken the new year 🤣🤣 animating it was especially challenging because i had to draw and animate the first half going forward, and then last half going backwards so it would loop right and THEN i replayed and rechecked all 60 some frames to make sure there weren't any glaring colour or continuity issues the fortnight before posting it bc things weren't lining up. for a first attempt, i think it looks good......if you dont like....look at it too closely

this one of their pj party bts run one also took me 2 months to finish afjgioraejgio i didnt think i was able to finish it tbh im glad it turned out well. it was my first attempt in animating complex motion and perspective and i think it turned out well. you can barely hear past me phantom screaming about it.
