Man dude, how do you do your digital art? ;-; it looks so tricky to get the hang of.

tbh to me its easier than traditional art cuz its so easy to fix mistakes (which i make a lot of constantly) and i use like a million layers and effects. if ur asking abt programs, i use an ipad and the app procreate. for years i used a screenless tablet + paint tool sai but i much prefer using a screen and stylus bc it mimics the physical movements of traditional art more. it makes it soo much easier imo. i know lots of incredible artists who use screenless tablets (@\kiwibyrd comes to mind!) but for me its a lot easier to draw on a screen. we all have different relationships to art and different struggles with it, some things r easier for other people etc. but for me digital art comes pretty naturally to me because it opens up a lot of opportunities i dont have w traditional art (ex. i basically never color my traditional drawings and exclusively use pen and ink, so w digital i can actually color my pieces). ive been working with digital programs for years though, so ive gotten used to it by now. it can be tricky to get the hang of if ur new to it, but if you practice it gets easier and easier! it also helps to look at other good digital artists and get inspired by their style, their use of effects/programs, etc! i think if u have the opportunity to do it, you should try digital art! but plenty of artists are amazing with only traditional art, and thats super cool too!
