#ive been thinking about this for a hot minute

ive thought about this for the longest time but what would the tfp bots think of Minecraft? or the poem at the end if you win the game, I think it would be a really sweet bonding moment or something like that (I personally believe bee would sob at the end where it goes "and the universe said I love you because you are love" )

I do imagine the gameplay is fun enough for most of them, but what really gets the bots is that bit at the end of the game. The fight with the ender dragon, the poem, and the almost sorrow that lingers after. I think it would remind them of Primus and Unicron in a sense. For all the pain and suffering they inflict on their maker, Primus still forever loves his children. I think the poem might hit just a bit too close to home in some cases because of that fact. To be forever loved despite doing nothing but cutting, breaking, tearing, and oh so rarely connecting? Yeah, I can see at least one of the bots having to think for a hot minute after finishing the game's main battle. What do you do when you kill a god? What do you do when the greatest challenge ahs been overcome? What is there left to fight for when, despite all your failings, nothing has really changed?

Vibed around my favorite exhibits today and I gotta say, it's definitely my favorite place to be to think about dnd pcs. Shout out to frost and kremy for never leaving my mind because I work at a zoo.

Our male tiger does this thing called mooing and it's like a cat meow but it's a deep tiger sound. I'll get a video one day. He's a chatty cat but he also does it because he smells girl tiger and he's interested. She's not, but that's because she's still young. And tigers are super picky about mating stuff. It will be a long process.

Our gharial wasn't out today sadly (she's a relative of alligators), but the Komodo dragon was! Though he's not a crocodillian, he's still one helluva reptile. I love talking about my cold blooded favs, everyone always asks about their behavior as it gets cold, or if they're dead cuz they're not moving.

Anywho, I've been thinking more about frost and what kind of tiger he is and ive decided he's sumatran, which is the smallest species. I was taking photos of boy tiger today (who is malayan, but i just wanted his stipes) because I'm working on body studies for the whole krew and I want to draw some stripes for my frosty boy. Boy tiger has freckles on his sides and I can't stop thinking about some of the facial patterns ive seen.

Im still drawing chubby kremy, I love his Canon build, but it's just not for me. One day I'll draw Gideon, torbek, and gricko, but my brain has latched onto the animal ones. Hootsies on my list too, but I'm a bird guy through and through and I've never been good at drawing bird attributes, so it'll be a hot minute.

Thinking about the fact that Utterson and Watson are similar in a sense that:

1. They are the main characters in their respective books yet in most adaptations their best friend becomes the mc instead

2. They think very fondly of their best friend and they care for them an extreme amount

3. Adding onto 2, they describe their best friend to be tall and attractive in whatever manner that may be

4. Adding onto 2 and 3, they may or may not be gay for their best friend.

But 99% of the time, it doesn't. 99% of the time, that person just ends up being platonic/familial. As in, that's my bro/sis. And the person in question is usually chill with that - it's always some weird outsider that assumes there must be "more" happening? And it's so fuckin annoying.

To be accused of, "Oh you hang out with so-and-so all the time, so you must be in love with them!!" so many times and having to explain it over and over again...to the same people, no less...

I'm tired, lol.

I could go more into how becoming a spectral being represents Sally letting go of her inhibitions and self restraint but that is a topic for a different day

I think @tinyplanetss put it into better words than I could (thank you for the kind words btw!!)

I definitely took Blaze into account when thinking about Sally, mainly because I didn't want to ripoff Blaze's character and keep Sally separate. But there is definitely an overlap between the two, Sally's just needing to get to a point where she can grow more comfortably into her roles as a leader/guardian/comrade/monarch/magic bloodline hier(?) all at the same time. Blaze differs in which she's become very confident in her ability to carry out her duties and responsibilies, but needed some help to find the value in friendship and getting out of her anti-social shell.

So, similar character development, but reversed order in what they accomplish.

For Sally specifically, I view her sense of "inhibitions" as stated in my last post as being more self-inflicted rather than an outside force inflicted barriers upon her. We already know that Sally struggles maintaining her own agency, which has lead to her confining herself into a certain role within the FF. She obviously excells at her job, but she also misses the excitement and freedom that came with being just another freedom fighter out in the field.

I do like that she doesn't display any chaos energy related or significant abilities, as it helps ground her as a relatable protagonist who's capable of standing out despite her lack of powers. That being said, a little treat here and then where she's able to step outside of her role and be at the same power level of other protagonists is always nice, which is why I'm not against the idea of her having a super form.

In the scenario that she would have a super form, things would have to be pretty dire where Sonic or other characters proficient with chaos energies wouldn't be present, and Sally would be desperate to protect her people. Or maybe it happens on accident. Either way, I'd like to think that bc of her lack of experience with the emeralds her form would be a bit unstable, and so she may not last as long or have trouble controlling her powers.

The more spectral aspect of her design comes from her letting go of the confined roles in life that she plays, and represents her having a sense of freedom that she no longer/never had access to. She's "untethered" as the comment says, she can choose what to do with her newfound power without restriction or oversight.

And I agree, the galaxy/sun symbolism was a key factor in making her design, they go well together :)

OH FAIR POINT hmm. hmmmmmmmmmmmm that is. a good Question. im gonna say in the case of specific well-known mods that have a large fundamental impact on its game (like myhouse.wad, and also now that im thinking abt well-known mods and i think Terraria Calamity mod would count too) they would be allowed. i am also going to add onto that and say this does NOT mean any ol' mod can come in and like, use your better judgement on if you think a mod could count as different enough from its base game to count
