I was saying this recently that we haven’t even tapped into his two sisters and their opinions on Marisol, and what they’ve done the past couple of years and his abuela is hiding secrets that we haven’t divulged yet into. And that his tia has really started to express a little bit more that, yeah, she was married before she ended up with her late husband.

oh my god oh my god, one of my coworkers just saw the background on my phone because a notification came in just as she was looking at my desk and she legit went

"wait a minute, is that eddie from 911?"

the sound i made startled everyone in the office. i just spent like 5 minutes freaking out over the latest episode with her. she was surprised about the buck/tommy of it all, like legit surprised. she's a very out and proud lesbian so idk what that means for anyone thinking that it's only straight old people who think the buck/tommy of it all was a bit... surprising. i told her it really shouldn't be surprising because there have been hints at buck's sexuality throughout the series and i even made a point to specifically call it bisexual. she maintains she never really saw it so. okay.

he seems like a genuinely funny guy and his snarkiness is pretty on brand for the kinda shenanigans the 118 gets up to. is it up to eddie’s level? not yet. it was a pretty shitty first impression way back when and people totally forgot about it simply because of how he could be a storyline for buck. that being said i would love to see more of him.. it was just fandom’s reaction TO tommy that got to me.
