Not your post saying pisces sun men are addicted to porn omg I’m dead. This guy I was texting before and sent nudes to is a pisces sun and he was so obsessed.. one day all he did was look at one of my photos and … THREE TIMES 💀💀 pisces have no boundaries and can really get lost in their vices 😬😬
Warning - A rant on Pisces Sun Men.
Tw: If you like pisces men don't read lol
Omg- I am so so sorry😀 everytime I read stories about pisces men this is my exact reaction : 🫢😀🤢🤬💀
It goes from "umm what" to "WHAT THE FUCK" real quick.
I AM SO SORRY THIS IS TRAUMATIZING THO
Every. Single. Pisces. Sun. Man. I've. Met. IS TRASH. Literally no other zodiac sign could compare to pisces mens level of disgust
They weirdly love bomb and act like hoes and then become obsessed and clingy with u while they are acting like the most disgusting man hoes ever??? Make it make sense.
The things I COULD TELL YOU ABOUT HOW THEY'VE TRAUMATIZED ME AND EVERYONE IK CHILE
My friends mom is divorced from a pisces sun man who would regularly phone sex workers and masturbate to underage girls on porn....💀💀🤢🤢
My previous crush love bombed me only to fuck a bunch of other girls and continuously try to love bomb me again after???
THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE WANDERING EYE IN RELATIONSHIPS OMG, one tried to hide the fact he had a girlfriend of 2 YEARS with me during the talking stages.
Honestly a lot of them act like they treat women nicely only to get in a relationship and treat them horribly from what I've seen. Its like if you dont live up to their imposed fantasies of you they get aggressive and MEAN as they constantly threaten to leave you while cheating at the same time. Its fucked up dude.
Master Manipulators? A Pisces sun man
A guilt-tripping gaslighting WHORE - a Pisces sun man
The sign that cheats the most imo? - A Pisces sun man
They always act soooo innocent and caring like they'd never harm a fly BUT THEN TURN OUT TO BE THE MOST FUCKED UP PEOPLE I SWEAR.
Like they keep their secrets A SECRET because they're so awful.
Its so bad- people shit on mutable sign men a lot but pisces men are the worst OF THE WORST. And its also because they play dumb and get away with everything because everyone seems to view them as sweet or innocent??? But naurr they are dirtier than the sewers my friend.
Honestly a lot of them have deranged sexual fantasies and can't control or even realize their way of imposing their fantasies onto other people making us SO UNCOMFORTABLE.
THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE WORD NO? as soon as you deny them anything they automatically make it your fault. Because they act ENTITLED you should do whatever for them because they "love" you so much. The behavior I've witnessed from them makes me SICK
Whenever news of a celebrity cheating pops up they ALWAYS have pisces placements
Adam Levine, Justin Bieber, Tristan Thompson, Zayn Malik (pisces rising).
I could GO ON about how many men with pisces placements cheat its seriously ridiculous and it happens irl and not just hollywood too like they cheat as if they'd never live again or smth??
Honestly, All of the Pisces sun men I've come to know or have heard about are either the worst fuckboys ever or Should be in jail 100%
Not even kidding.

Seeking Arrangement - Rosé
Part 1
The pitter patter of the rain served as background noise for Y/N and Lisa who was sat on their couch munching on some cucumbers, eyes glued to the Kdrama playing on the TV. Y/N let out a dramatic sigh as she watches Ko Moonyoung and Moon Gangtae lock lips for the first time. The sound was not lost on her best friend who shot her a grin.
“Are you going all soft again, Y/N?”
Y/N rolled her eyes at the teasing tone in Lisa’s voice. This was not new as she was always on the receiving end of Lisa’s jokes about her being such a hopeless romantic. Though Lisa found this amusing about her best friend, she thinks there is strength in Y/N’s ability to believe in love after the shit her ex-girlfriend Suzy put her through. Could you really blame her? Being in love was without a doubt one of the best feelings in the world in Y/N’s book. For her, it was an overwhelming yet warm feeling that stretches throughout your whole body once it enters your life and leaves you feeling like you’re on top of the world (but its all fun and games until your partner cheats on you).
Despite this though, she was not in a hurry to find love. In fact, after the tragedy that was her last relationship, she just wanted to lie low and have fun for a while.
“Shut up. You’re lucky you’re in a stable relationship,” Y/N scoffs.
Lisa and her girlfriend Jennie have been together for 2 years now (3 years next month) and Y/N envied the love shared between the two.
“Don’t worry, Y/N. No one can resist you for too long,” Lisa tries to reassure her best friend, wrapping an arm around her.
Y/N grimaced, “Eh…I don’t really want anything serious at the moment. Especially after Suzy.”
Lisa pretends to gag at the sound of Y/N’s ex-girlfriend’s name, “I agree. Have fun and take it easy. You should like…I don’t know…find a sugar daddy or something.” They both chuckle at Lisa’s words, knowing she would never even think about it.
•
It was hours later on her bed while typing out a reply to some guy she matched on Tinder that she realizes how hard it was to find a worthy candidate to waste her time on. These boys lacked substance and were coming at her with the same pick-up lines. She wonders if they all got them at the same Fuckboy Convention. It didn’t help that she rarely matched with girls either.
She groans at the reply that came through.
Wyd tho? U tryna fuck?
“The audacity of these boys,” she mutters under her breath, closing the app.
As she stares at her ceiling zoning out, she remembers Lisa’s words from hours ago. A sugar daddy. She laughs at her best friend’s ridiculous idea. She could never.
Unless? No. It’s stupid. She doesn’t wanna give out any sugar AT ALL.
But she was bored out of her mind. For the past 3 months, she has been cooped up in her bed wallowing in self-pity while listening to the very suspicious sounds coming out of Lisa’s room. There were also only so many pep-talks she could give herself until she grew tired of her own words. It was this that fueled her to sit up and turn on her laptop. After all, she considered boredom as an invitation for her to find something that would raise her serotonin levels. And what is the value of life without a little fun? She owed herself the first few months of her breakup to relax and take care of herself after all the mental damage, but now she needed a little play. She needed both the loud and quiet joys of life, peace with a little bit of wild mixed in. It was needed to feed her soul.
She also couldn’t lie that she craved some sort of human connection and validation. Yeah, she definitely was not proud of that last one.
Y/N stared at the keyboard, not believing what she was able to type into Google.
How to find a sugar daddy?
What she found out during her deep dive in the wondrous world of sugar daddies and babies was the number one site to find one was called Seeking Arrangement.
So that is where she found herself, blinking at the statement written in bold.
100% Free to Join!
To hell with it, she thinks as she begins to fill out the application.
30 minutes later, she nods in approval as she scanned through the photos she chose. She would totally hit herself up if she was a sad middle-aged man desperate for companionship. As she hits submit, she was met with pictures of men – and surprisingly women, although there were considerably more men – complete with their basic information.
Looking for a woman to spoil.
Looking for love.
Looking for a loving companion.
Looking for a good time.
It was nothing she didn’t expect to find at a sugar baby site but it was the net worth of the men and women displayed on her screen that caught her eye. She was almost tempted to message one of them but couldn’t find it in herself to do so. She rolls her eyes at the thought.
She spent hours researching and signing up for a sugar baby website and she still finds herself being stubborn about making the first move.
Glancing at the clock, she realized that it was almost 4AM. She decides that she was going to wait for someone to message her first instead. Besides it gives off the vibe that she’s hard to get and that’s always a little bit sexy, right?

"Y/N! Wake up! I made banana pancakes.”
Slowly opening her eyes and stretching, her foot meets a hard surface. The cold metallic feeling on her foot was enough to remind her of her antics 7 hours ago. She hides her face on her hands, sighing. Why did she think that was a good idea?
Once she was out of her room, she was met with the sweet smell of banana pancakes and nutella. She dragged herself to where the smell was most present and found herself in the kitchen where both Lisa and Jennie sat on the counter. Jennie threw a gummy smile her way while her best friend simply nodded at her presence, busy stuffing herself with her girlfriend’s banana pancakes.
“Vas happenin’, love birds?” she greets them with a faux British accent.
“What kind of dollar store Zayn Malik am I hearing right now?” came Lisa’s reply to which Y/N’s response was to smear Nutella all over her best friend’s face.
“Yah, Y/N!” Lisa whines as she hits Y/N on the shoulder.
Y/N gasps as she prepares to retaliate.
“Children! Stop it.” Jennie scolds the two. She was used to the duo’s playful fighting but she also knew it could go on for hours if she doesn’t put a stop to it.
Both were quick to stop but stuck their tongues out at each other.
Y/N grabbed her plate to return to her room. She glanced at the couple making sure they were preoccupied enough not to notice what she was up to.
You have 11 unopened messages!
A loose grin formed on her face at the notification. Not bad. She hurriedly opened her inbox to find the different men who deemed her worthy to reach out to.
It was all pretty tame, it being the typical greeting. She sighed, already bored. It wasn’t until she reached the bottom of her inbox where a small gasp came out of her. She sat up and read the sender’s name.
Rosé Park. A woman.
She excitedly clicked on the woman’s profile.
It only took the woman’s profile picture for Y/N to realize that this Rosé Park was the type of woman she fantasized about. For starters, she was a brunette and the woman was a blonde. She was a sucker for blondes. Who could resist a good brunette and blonde wlw duo?
Santana and Brittany. Rose and Rosie. Clarke and Lexa. Piper and Alex. Need she say more?
Basically, Rosé Park was a dreamboat. Something radiated from her pictures that Y/N knew rendered her irresistible to both men and women. She could outshine any of these men on the site any day. It also only took her profile picture to realize that the woman was a big deal. Her outfit looked straight out of the pages of a fashion magazine. Why would gorgeous and rich 25-year old Rosé Park want to talk to a normal and boring 23-year old like her?
Y/N composed herself, fighting back a smile, before returning to her and Rosé’s chat.
Hi, gorgeous. I passed by your profile and knew I had to talk to you. Looking forward to your response x
Y/N’s blush seared through her cheeks and for a minute she thought her face was on fire. She suddenly felt awkward, demure, and coy; even going as far as attempting to hide her rosy features behind her slim fingers even if no one else was around to see her. She blames it on the fact that an insanely beautiful woman complimented her. So naturally, it took her at least 5 minutes of over-analyzing every possible response for her to actually send one.
Hi there :) You’re one to talk. You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on.
To her surprise, three little dots indicating Rosé was typing appeared beside the woman’s picture.
Haha, cute.
Hmm what brings you to this site, Y/N?
The woman’s question made her pause. She doesn’t even know the answer to that. Was she supposed to make some shit up?
Um I was bored.
She facepalms herself as she hit send. Really? Your brain cogs couldn't turn fast enough to come up with a more interesting response, Y/N?
Y/N thought she blew it as 45 minutes has passed and no response from the blonde bombshell came. She internally cursed herself for her boring response to the woman. Rosé probably thought she was an airhead.
•
It was 10PM after binge watching another Kdrama with Jennie and Lisa that she remembered being left on delivered by Rosé. Her mood quickly sours as she realizes she ruined her chance at getting to know the beautiful woman. Thinking to distract herself with the depressing fact, she goes to check if any of the men messaged her back. Sure, a man could never fill the void of a woman but she really needed to talk to another human being besides Lisa and Jennie.
Y/N was apparently in for a surprise because what awaited her was a message from the woman.
Well, I hope to provide some sort of entertainment for you ;)
I’m not one to beat around the bush Y/N. I think you’re stunning and a good lay in bed. That’s a really good source of entertainment for the both of us, no?
Jesus Christ. She was not expecting that.
Y/N knew what being a sugar baby entailed but she was still brought to a shock at how blunt Rosé was being and so early on into the conversation. The thought of being with Rosé like that, being able to feel her skin against hers, the godly sounds that it would elicit…
Her private thoughts made herself blush. It seems like if there was anything Rosé was good at it was making Y/N blush. But her unholy thoughts about the woman didn’t create a cute soft pink tint on her cheek like a healthy outdoors glow, it was beet red. Y/N figured that Rosé was probably highly practiced at the art of seduction. Rosé’s looks although a masterpiece sculpted by all the deities that exist… well, nothing so pretty could possibly harm you, right? But it was that combined with Rosé’s choice of words that had anyone she chose to even focus her attention on jumping through hoops to please her. So, she swallowed her pride and forced herself to play it cool, putting on a mask that she thought would appease the woman she really wanted to impress.
I like the way you think, Rosé. I like to think I make great company in bed too ;) Give me a time and place and I’ll be there.
•
That message was what lead Y/N to the 21st floor of Seoul Forest Trimage Towers, one of Seoul’s most luxurious and exclusive apartment complex, standing outside of Rosé’s penthouse two days later.
All the reasons not to go through with it and just leave came flooding in. Y/N can feel the soft panic growing inside her body as she wills herself to breathe in and out, not quite ready to ring the doorbell just yet. But before she could finish her fourth exhale, the door was opened to reveal the woman who has not left her mind ever since signing up for that damned site.
“I grew tired of watching you hyperventilate so I thought I’d do you a favor and open the door for you.”
Y/N almost choked on air as she looks at Rosé for the first time. The pictures on her profile did not do her justice at all. The woman could have graced every billboard or magazine in the city and she wouldn’t even question it.
Y/N did not say anything - did not know what to say. She was conscious of the smirking woman standing before her, dressed in a white dress that stopped just above her knees.
“Do you wanna come in, Y/N?” Rosé’s voice was dripping with amusement, eyebrows raised. Shyness wasn’t usually Y/N’s gig so what the hell was going on?
“Yeah, sure.”
Once she entered the threshold that Rosé called home, she immediately noticed how fancy and expensive everything was. She was immediately drawn to the large window overlooking the whole city. The glass was so clear that it looked like a high definition screen at the movie theatre.
Rosé quickly picked up on her fascination, grabbing hold of Y/N’s hand and leading her to the glass window. “Cool, huh? I picked this unit because of the view. The city below is so far away it's like another world. This penthouse is my cocoon and the window, well, the window shows me as much detail as I want to know.”
Y/N could only stare at their joined hands and then to the woman beside her, intoxicated by her words. “It’s beautiful, Rosé. I’d kill to wake up to this every way. You have great taste.”
“Yeah I do have great taste huh?” Rosé looked her up and down, biting her lip before chuckling. (Y/N swears she saw the gates of heaven open at the sound)
•
A few hours later after a candle lit dinner prepared by Rosé herself and a bottle of wine, Y/N finds herself straddled in the living room couch being kissed roughly on the neck as pure pleasure runs through her entire body.
“Fuck,” she pants as she feels Rosé grind on her. Unable to control herself anymore, Y/N holds Rosé’s head in her hands and pulls her into a fiery and passionate kiss.
“Someone couldn’t wait,” Rosé smiled against their lips.
With a laugh, Y/N pushed Rosé down on the couch, switching their positions, not breaking the kiss. Y/N’s hands slowly work their way around her body, tugging on Rosé’s dress.
“Off.”
Rosé sat up slightly, allowing Y/N to pull down the zipper of her dress, feeling skilled fingers unhook her bra. Rosé tears it off herself before reattaching their lips. Immediately, Y/N’s hands found itself on Rosé’s breasts as she tugged on her nipples.
Rosé gasps against her lips causing Y/N to pull away, making her way down and sucking on the skin surrounding Rosé’s breasts before soothing it out with her tongue.
“I don’t know what’s gotten into you but I’m not complaining,” Rosé giggles but whimpers midway as she feels Y/N’s tongue latch onto her nipple.
“Probably the wine.”
Y/N couldn’t help but think that their bodies fit together as if they were made just for this, to fall into one another, to feel this natural rhythm.
Y/N’s hands drop to Rosé’s thighs, caressing her from above her panties. Rosé moans at the feeling of the soft silk rubbing against her as Y/N’s mouth still busied herself with her nipple.
“Oh my god.”
Rosé grips her hand tightly onto Y/N’s hair as she feels the wetness between her legs. “Take your clothes off. I wanna see you.”
Y/N stops devouring her nipple to pull her shirt off. Rosé drops her hands to the zipper of Y/N’s jeans pulling it down and slipping her own hand in.
“Good to know I’m not the only one dripping wet,” she teases.
Before she could begin her sweet torture on Y/N, she feels hands finally moving inside her panties and her mind went blank.
Fingers toyed with her nub making Rosé bite down on Y/N’s shoulder. Thumb continuing to rub Rosé’s nub, Y/N slipped two fingers in. Rosé moaned so loud that Y/N swears it was enough to get her off.
Pumping her fingers around Rosé, Y/N felt a smirk making its way on her face. She couldn’t believe she was on top of the godly woman seeing her face all scrunched up in ecstasy. She feels Rosé pulling her in for another heated kiss as she picks up her pace inside the woman. With every moan and whimper coming out of Rosé’s mouth, Y/N feels her own wetness.
“You’re so fucking hot,” Y/N mutters under her breath.
She could feel Rosé getting close as the woman’s grinding on her fingers became sloppier and her breaths became more uneven. Burying her face on Y/N’s shoulder, Rosé tries to stifle her moans as she finally comes undone.
Y/N slowly leaves feathery kisses up and down Rosé’s neck as she waits for her to come down from her high.
“Jesus Christ, Y/N.” she hears Rosé trying to catch her breath. “I honestly wasn’t expecting you to take charge tonight.”
“Maybe I’m just full of surprises,” Y/N grinned, pressing a kiss on Rosé’s temple.
Rosé slowly sat up as Y/N leaves her place on top of her. “I guess you are.”
They both sat in silence as they picked up their clothes scattered on the floor before putting them back on. Rosé was the first one to break the ice as she reaches for her purse on the wooden table. It was at that moment Y/N remembered why she was even there in the first place. Disappointment stabbed through her like a knife. Somehow during the duration of the night, she made herself forget that she was there because of an agreement made online. As if she was there spending the night with a new lover, both milking the feeling of a love that just arrived. The night started out like a sweet melody of a blackbird -- full of promise, freshness, and newness to come. Now it sat like a cold cup of coffee waiting to be drained away. All of a sudden, she felt dirty and used and all she had to blame was herself. Rosé’s words from a few hours ago during dinner echoed through her head.
I signed up because I have no time for relationships. I’m just too busy for that. It saves me the hassle of meeting new people and having to get to know them, y’know?
And truthfully, no, Y/N didn’t know. She remembers Lisa telling her she loves like a puppy - devoted, playful, and trusting. So, no, Y/N didn’t know. She just didn’t roll the way Rosé rolled.
“Here you go,” Rosé reached out with a wad of cash in her hand. “Go treat yourself. You deserve it.”
It was the way Rosé said it, so confident and smug, that Y/N knew that she was not Rosé’s first rodeo. The woman sounded like she does it so often that she just didn’t care anymore.
“How many girls receive this same amount of cash?” Y/N laughs quietly and she hopes it didn’t sound as bitter as she felt.
“A couple a week,” Rosé grins so nonchalantly it makes Y/N stomach churn. “Why?”
“Nothing,” Y/N awkwardly shifts in her place on the couch. “Um, you really don’t need to. I’m not looking for cash.”
Rosé actually looked shocked at the girl’s statement. “I’m a little bit lost here.”
“I signed up because I was bored and curious not because I’m low on money,” she laughs keeping an unamused tone. “I really didn’t expect to reach this far ahead. So, you can keep your money Rosé.”
Y/N got up and started walking towards the door. She was halfway there when she felt Rosé grab her wrist.
“Why do you sound angry? Don’t act as if you didn’t know why I invited you here, Y/N.” Rosé looked at her confused. “We met through Seeking Arrangements for god’s sake. I thought we had a good time.”
Rosé did have a good time. Aside from the mind-blowing sex, she was impressed by Y/N’s ability to be present during a conversation, always having her own two cents to offer, which lead to a lot of fun and meaningful discourse all throughout dinner. She had never met a woman through that website as enchanting and beautiful as Y/N. Y/N was a smart woman who was good at sex and Rosé liked that. A lot. So why is she being difficult?
Rosé saw different emotions flash through Y/N’s face before settling on a look of defeat. “You’re right. I’m sorry. I did have a good time.”
Y/N stepped closer to Rosé. “I loved being here with you and money was never on my mind tonight. Maybe that’s why I reacted that way. I’m sorry. I joined Seeking Arrangements for fun because honestly…I was lonely and bored and looking for some sort of human connection and that’s what you gave me tonight. I just got lucky that you reached out. That was all I needed I promise.”
She offers Rosé a genuine smile before turning to leave once more. “Have a good rest of your night, Rosé.”
Y/N hears footsteps behind her as Rosé opens the door for her, a smile planted on her face. “You’re something else, Y/N.”
Before the door closes, Rosé speaks once more. “It’s Rosie now by the way.”
The last thing she saw was the woman throwing her a wink before the door finally closed.

Variety’s Grammy-nominated Hitmaker of the Year goes deep on the music industry, the great pause and finding his own muses.
“We’ll dance again,” Harry Styles coos, the Los Angeles sunshine peeking through his pandemic-shaggy hair just so. The singer, songwriter and actor — beloved and critically acclaimed thanks to his life-affirming year-old album, “Fine Line” — is lamenting that his Variety Hitmaker of the Year cover conversation has to be conducted over Zoom rather than in person. Even via videoconference, the Brit is effortlessly charming, as anyone who’s come within earshot of him would attest, but it quickly becomes clear that beneath that genial smile is a well-honed media strategy.
To wit: In an interview that appears a few days later announcing his investment in a new arena in his native Manchester (more on that in a bit), he repeats the refrain — “There will be a time we dance again”— referencing a much-needed return to live music and the promise of some 4,000 jobs for residents.
None of which is to suggest that Styles, 26, phones it in for interviews. Quite the opposite: He does very few, conceivably to give more of himself and not cheapen what is out there and also to use the publicity opportunity to indulge his other interests, like fashion. (Last month Styles became the first male to grace the cover of Vogue solo.) Still, it stings a little that a waltz with the former One Direction member may not come to pass on this album cycle — curse you, coronavirus.
Styles’ isolation has coincided with his maturation as an artist, a thespian and a person. With “Fine Line,” he’s proved himself a skilled lyricist with a tremendous ear for harmony and melody. In preparing for his role in Olivia Wilde’s period thriller “Don’t Worry Darling,” which is shooting outside Palm Springs, he found an outlet for expression in interpreting words on a page. And for the first time, he’s using his megaphone to speak out about social justice — inspired by the outpouring of support for Black people around the world following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police in May.
Styles has spent much of the past nine months at home in London, where life has slowed considerably. The time has allowed him to ponder such heady issues as his purpose on the earth. “It’s been a pause that I don’t know if I would have otherwise taken,” says Styles. “I think it’s been pretty good for me to have a kind of stop, to look and think about what it actually means to be an artist, what it means to do what we do and why we do it. I lean into moments like this — moments of uncertainty.”
In truth, while Styles has largely been keeping a low profile — his Love On Tour, due to kick off on April 15, was postponed in late March and is now scheduled to launch in February 2021 (whether it actually will remains to be seen) — his music has not. This is especially true in the U.S., where he’s notched two hit singles, “Adore You,” the second-most-played song at radio in 2020, and “Watermelon Sugar” (No. 22 on Variety’s year-end Hitmakers chart), with a third, “Golden,” already cresting the top 20 on the pop format. The massive cross-platform success of these songs means Styles has finally and decisively broken into the American market, maneuvering its web of gatekeepers to accumulate 6.2 million consumption units and rising.
Why do these particular songs resonate in 2020? Styles doesn’t have the faintest idea. While he acknowledges a “nursery rhyme” feel to “Watermelon Sugar” with its earwormy loop of a chorus, that’s about as much insight as he can offer. His longtime collaborator and friend Tom Hull, also known as the producer Kid Harpoon, offers this take: “There’s a lot of amazing things about that song, but what really stands out is the lyric. It’s not trying to hide or be clever. The simplicity of watermelon … there’s such a joy in it, [which] is a massive part of that song’s success.” Also, his kids love it. “I’ve never had a song connect with children in this way,” says Hull, whose credits include tunes by Shawn Mendes, Florence and the Machine and Calvin Harris. “I get sent videos all the time from friends of their kids singing. I have a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old, and they listen to it.”
Styles is quick to note that he doesn’t chase pop appeal when crafting songs. In fact, the times when he pondered or approved a purposeful tweak, like on his self-titled 2017 debut, still gnaw at him. “I love that album so much because it represents such a time in my life, but when I listen to it — sonically and lyrically, especially — I can hear places where I was playing it safe,” he says. “I was scared to get it wrong.”
Contemporary effects and on-trend beats hardly factor into Styles’ decision-making. He likes to focus on feelings — his own and his followers’ — and see himself on the other side of the velvet rope, an important distinction in his view. “People within [the industry] feel like they operate on a higher level of listening, and I like to make music from the point of being a fan of music,” Styles says. “Fans are the best A&R.”
This from someone who’s had free rein to pursue every musical whim, and hand in the album of his dreams in the form of “Fine Line.” Chart success makes it all the sweeter, but Styles insists that writing “for the right reasons” supersedes any commercial considerations. “There’s no part that feels, eh, icky — like it was made in the lab,” he says.
Styles has experience in this realm. As a graduate of the U.K. competition series “The X Factor,” where he and four other auditionees — Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson — were singled out by show creator and star judge Simon Cowell to conjoin as One Direction, he’s seen how the prefab pop machine works up close. The One Direction oeuvre, which counts some 42 million albums sold worldwide, includes songs written with such established hitmakers as Ryan Tedder, Savan Kotecha and Teddy Geiger. Being a studious, insatiable observer, Styles took it all in.
“I learned so much,” he says of the experience. “When we were in the band, I used to try and write with as many different people as I could. I wanted to practice — and I wrote a lot of bad shit.”
His bandmates also benefited from the pop star boot camp. The proof is in the relatively seamless solo transitions of at least three of its members — Payne, Malik and Horan in addition to Styles — each of whom has landed hit singles on charts in the U.K., the U.S. and beyond.
This departs from the typical trajectories of boy bands including New Kids on the Block and ’N Sync, which have all pro ered a star frontman. The thinking for decades was that a record company would be lucky to have one breakout solo career among the bunch.
Styles has plainly thought about this.
“When you look at the history of people coming out of bands and starting solo careers, they feel this need to apologize for being in the band. ‘Don’t worry, everyone, that wasn’t me! Now I get to do what I really want to do.’ But we loved being in the band,” he says. “I think there’s a wont to pit people against each other. And I think it’s never been about that for us. It’s about a next step in evolution. The fact that we’ve all achieved different things outside of the band says a lot about how hard we worked in it.”
Indeed, during the five-ish years that One Direction existed, Styles’ schedule involved the sort of nonstop international jet-setting that few get to see in a lifetime, never mind their teenage years. Between 2011 and 2015, One Direction’s tours pulled in north of $631 million in gross ticket sales, according to concert trade Pollstar, and the band was selling out stadiums worldwide by the time it entered its extended hiatus. Styles, too, had built up to playing arenas as a solo artist, engaging audiences with his colorful stage wear and banter and left-of-center choices for opening acts (a pre-Grammy-haul Kacey Musgraves in 2018; indie darlings King Princess and Jenny Lewis for his rescheduled 2021 run).
Stages of all sizes feel like home to Styles. He grew up in a suburb of Manchester, ground zero for some of the biggest British acts of the 1980s and ’90s, including Joy Division, New Order, the Smiths and Oasis, the latter of which broke the same year Styles was born. His parents were also music lovers. Styles’ father fed him a balanced diet of the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones and Queen, while Mum was a fan of Shania Twain, Norah Jones and Savage Garden. “They’re all great melody writers,” says Styles of the acts’ musical throughline.
Stevie Nicks, who in the past has described “Fine Line” as Styles’ “Rumours,” referencing the Fleetwood Mac 1977 classic, sees him as a kindred spirit. “Harry writes and sings his songs about real experiences that seemingly happened yesterday,” she tells Variety. “He taps into real life. He doesn’t make up stories. He tells the truth, and that is what I do. ‘Fine Line’ has been my favorite record since it came out. It is his ‘Rumours.’ I told him that in a note on December 13, 2019 before he went on stage to play the ‘Fine Line’ album at the Forum. We cried. He sang those songs like he had sung them a thousand times. That’s a great songwriter and a great performer.”
“Harry’s playing and writing is instinctual,” adds Jonathan Wilson, a friend and peer who’s advised Styles on backing and session musicians. “He understands history and where to take the torch. You can see the thread of great British performers — from Bolan to Bowie — in his music.”
Also shaping his musical DNA was Manchester itself, the site of a 23,500-seat arena, dubbed Co-op Live, for which Styles is an investor and adviser. Oak View Group, a company specializing in live entertainment and global sports that was founded by Tim Leiweke and Irving Azoff in 2015 (Jeffrey Azoff, Irving’s son, represents Styles at Full Stop Management), is leading the effort to construct the venue. The project gained planning approval in September and is set to open in 2023, with its arrival representing a £350 million ($455 million) investment in the city. (Worth noting: Manchester is already home to an arena — the site of a 2017 bombing outside an Ariana Grande concert — and a football stadium, where One Love Manchester, an all-star benefit show to raise money for victims of the terrorist attack, took place.)
“I went to my first shows in Manchester,” Styles says of concerts paid for with money earned delivering newspapers for a supermarket called the Co-op. “My friends and I would go in on weekends. There’s so many amazing small venues, and music is such a massive part of the city. I think Manchester deserves it. It feels like a full-circle, coming-home thing to be doing this and to be able to give any kind of input. I’m incredibly proud. Hopefully they’ll let me play there at some point.”
Though Styles has owned properties in Los Angeles, his base for the foreseeable future is London. “I feel like my relationship with L.A. has changed a lot,” he explains. “I’ve kind of accepted that I don’t have to live here anymore; for a while I felt like I was supposed to. Like it meant things were going well. This happened, then you move to L.A.! But I don’t really want to.”
Is it any wonder? Between COVID and the turmoil in the U.S. spurred by the presidential election, Styles, like some 79 million American voters, is recovering from sticker shock over the bill of goods sold to them by the concept of democracy. “In general, as people, there’s a lack of empathy,” he observes. “We found this place that’s so divisive. We just don’t listen to each other anymore. And that’s quite scary.”
That belief prompted Styles to speak out publicly in the wake of George Floyd’s death. As protests in support of Black Lives Matter took to streets all over the world, for Styles, it triggered a period of introspection, as marked by an Instagram message (liked by 2.7 million users and counting) in which he declared: “I do things every day without fear, because I am privileged, and I am privileged every day because I am white. … Being not racist is not enough, we must be anti racist. Social change is enacted when a society mobilizes. I stand in solidarity with all of those protesting. I’m donating to help post bail for arrested organizers. Look inwards, educate yourself and others. LISTEN, READ, SHARE, DONATE and VOTE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. BLACK LIVES MATTER.”
“Talking about race can be really uncomfortable for everyone,” Styles elaborates. “I had a realization that my own comfort in the conversation has nothing to do with the problem — like that’s not enough of a reason to not have a conversation. Looking back, I don’t think I’ve been outspoken enough in the past. Using that feeling has pushed me forward to being open and ready to learn. … How can I ensure from my side that in 20 years, the right things are still being done and the right people are getting the right opportunities? That it’s not a passing thing?”
His own record company — and corporate parent Sony Music Group, whose chairman, Rob Stringer, signed Styles in 2016 — has been grappling with these same questions as the industry has faced its own reckoning with race. At issue: inequality among the upper ranks (an oft-cited statistic: popular music is 80% Black, but the music business is 80% white); contracts rooted in a decades-old system that many say is set up to take advantage of artists, Black artists more unfairly than white; and the call for a return of master rights, an ownership model that is at the core of the business.
Styles acknowledges the fundamental imbalance in how a major label deal is structured — the record company takes on the financial risk while the artist is made to recoup money spent on the project before the act is considered profitable and earning royalties (typically at a 15% to 18% rate for the artist, while the label keeps and disburses the rest). “Historically, I can’t think of any industry that’s benefited more off of Black culture than music,” he says. “There are discussions that need to happen about this long history of not being paid fairly. It’s a time for listening, and hopefully, people will come out humbled, educated and willing to learn and change.”
By all accounts, Styles is a voracious reader, a movie lover and an aesthete. He stays in shape by adhering to a strict daily exercise routine. “I tried to keep up but didn’t last more than two weeks,” says Hull, Styles’ producer, with a laugh. “The discipline is terrifying.”
Of course, with the fashion world beckoning — Styles recently appeared in a film series for Gucci’s new collection that was co-directed by the fashion house’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, and Oscar winner Gus Van Sant — and a movie that’s set in the 1950s, maintaining that physique is part of the job. And he’s no stranger to visual continuity after appearing in Christopher Nolan’s epic “Dunkirk” and having to return to set for reshoots; his hair, which needed to be cut back to its circa 1940 form, is a constant topic of conversation among fans. This time, it’s the ink that poses a challenge. By Styles’ tally, he’s up to 60 tattoos, which require an hour in the makeup chair to cover up. “It’s the only time I really regret getting tattooed,” he says.
He shows no regret, however, when it comes to stylistic choices overall, and takes pride in his gender-agnostic portfolio, which includes wearing a Gucci dress on that Vogue cover— an image that incited conservative pundit Candace Owens to plead publicly to “bring back manly men.” In Styles’ view: “To not wear [something] because it’s females’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes. And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It doesn’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
But acclaim, if you can believe it, is not top of mind for Styles. As far as the Grammys are concerned, Styles shrugs, “It’s never why I do anything.” His team and longtime label, however, had their hearts set on a showing at the Jan. 31 ceremony. Their investment in Styles has been substantial — not just monetarily but in carefully crafting his career in the wake of such icons as David Bowie, who released his final albums with the label. Hope at the company and in many fans’ hearts that Styles would receive an album of the year nomination did not come to pass. However, he was recognized in three categories, including best pop vocal album.
“It’s always nice to know that people like what you’re doing, but ultimately — and especially working in a subjective field — I don’t put too much weight on that stuff,” Styles says. “I think it’s important when making any kind of art to remove the ego from it.” Citing the painter Matisse, he adds: “It’s about the work that you do when you’re not expecting any applause.”

Hey BMT :) so this whole week has been one big shit show with army. The whole SMA issue has made them completely lose it. They’re harassing Chen from Exos daughter, harassing NCT and now they’re harassing ATEEZ. When Taemin’s news came out they were fucking despicable.
They’re crying about the voting system being rigged but they’re all forgetting the vlive where RM basically told the recording academy to give bts a Grammy and they met scooter Braun and said Justin (Bieber) has had X amount of nominations now its our turn? I mean isn’t this confirming the Grammys are rigged? Zayn Malik said he’d send a gift basket so he could get nominated. The weeknd made a statement by not submitting. Drake pulled his noms.
It’s so ridiculous to me that this is ok but they’re crying about other awards being rigged. I mean the whole billboard and YouTube views are essentially rigged too. When that’s called out army send death threats.
Hi anon! When has it not been a shit show? It all intensifies now because there's no content, except 1 minute Bangtan Bombs and the members posting on their IG. So fans have to do something with their time. I haven't actually followed the drama because honestly, it's not something that interests me. One problem this week, you can expect something similar the next one as well.
I didn't see anyone saying something about RM's statement, at least not regular armys (I don't know what antis are writing about), but yeah....that gets a pass because as opposed to other K-Pop groups that don't deserve shit because they are not at the same level as BTS, in turn BTS deserves that Grammy. And Army knows the system is rigged there as well, but they also say that this is how the game is played so there's nothing else to do. It's just a sprinkle of hypocrisy, not much to see there, isn't it?
But fuck Scooter Braun, he's a dipshit and to hear how RM is having such conversations with him really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's all business anyway, so why should we care? I mean, should we care about sleazy Hollywood producers when X gets an Oscar because they are talented? This is the number one question to pass the test

This Charming Man: Why We’re Wild About Harry Styles
Also also also, because everytime I post it reminds me of something else and I have to post again. But a few post back I talked about how "white boy music" these days is trash. In order for me to come to these conclusions I usually compare their music to Jeff buckleys and alot of them have fallen short. Shawn Mendez voice is too nasally, Harry styles lyrics are incredibly bad, ed sherrin cries too much, yungblood is more poppunk so I don't even know why I listed him, I heard Conan grey on the radio and while he sounds good (vocal wise) his music in of its self sounds generic.
The only people, in my opinion that have come close to being on Jeff buckleys level of good are as follows
Børns
Hozier
Zayn malik
In in that order

People as famous as Harry Styles are almost never alone. From the cadre of security guards, stylists, publicists, managers, and hangers-on, a small army necessarily follows wherever they go. As irony dictates, though, fame, especially on the level that Styles has experienced since One Direction became the only thing young girls cared about in 2010, is curiously isolating. And while the 25-year-old often appears remarkably at ease with his surroundings—his dimpled smile never falters, not even at the apex of 1D’s fandemonium—a poignant fear of loneliness courses through Styles's magnificent second album, Fine Line, out now.
“I don’t wanna be alone,” the singer admits on the shimmying album-opener “Golden.” Belying the warm tones of the accompanying slide-guitar, glockenspiel, and summery da-da-da backing vocals, he continues: “Don’t wanna let you know,” he sings, comfortable and in the center of his range, “I don’t wanna be alone/But I can feel it take a hold.” On “To Be So Lonely,” driven by a toe-tapping double cello bass rhythm, he’s drunk and desperate to fill the void. “Don’t blame the drunk caller,” he begs an ex-lover. “I wasn’t ready for it all.” Later, on the same cut, he explains. “It’s hard for me to go home/And be so lonely." It’s a startling one-two punch of vulnerability from the 21st century's emergent rock god. In an age of highly curated Instagram feeds and meticulously managed celebrity images, he’s dedicated the LP to “all that I’ve done. The good and the bad.” “That is life,” he writes in the collection’s liner notes. Styles may be talking about the mixed bag of experiences that define reality, but the same could be said of Fine Line. A candid autobiography written in technicolor rock n’ roll, it’s an album about Becoming and across its 12 songs, bears remarkable witness to a young man in the middle of self-reckoning. The singer landed his first surprise back in 2017 with his self-titled solo debut. The easy-rolling set bucked the very established path set by Justin Timberlake and boybanders going solo, like Nick Jonas and Styles’ former group groupmate, Zayn Malik: embrace R&B and hip-hop, immediately assert that yes, you have sex. Lots of it. Instead, Styles dressed his introspective musings in the trappings of 1970s soft-rock. The results were enthralling, as he confidently toyed with “Blackbird”-era Beatles and Bowie. Fine Line is less concerned about honoring Styles's idols, though, and more interested in experimenting with the furthest corners of his curiosity. Save for an appearance from Greg Kurstin (Beck, Adele), who lends a hand to the transcendent “Sunflower, Vol. 6,” many of his cohorts are familiar from Harry Styles: super-producer Jeff Bhasker, one of the main architects of the Hot 100’s current sound via his work with Bruno Mars, Kanye West, Katy Perry, and a wide swath of others; songwriter-producer (and Bhasker acolyte) Tyler Johnson (Taylor Swift, Cam); and Kid Harpoon (Florence + the Machine, Maggie Rogers). Together they find a thrilling new sonic terrain—one where gooey Fleetwood Mac-style melodies get wrapped in mille-feuille-esque layers of synth, Crosby, Stills, & Nash-reminiscent acoustic strummers get sandwiched between psychedelic trips to fantasy land, and electric-sitar solos scream of yesterday and tomorrow. It’s also full of tantalizing lyrical Easter eggs, for those (many!) fans who crave them. He follows with the regret-soaked “Falling,” a moving lullaby of self-realization. “And there’s no one to blame but the drink and my wandering hands,” he confides early about his break-up. “What am I now?/What if I'm someone I don't want around?” he sings repeatedly throughout the chorus. “What if I’m someone you won't talk about?,” he adds, his voice reaching its desperate edge as the song peaks. It’s an almost impossible insecurity to consider, as all we want is more.

by Typosmyown
Returning to Club G.A.Y the day after their first post XFactor performance at the private, members only club leads to a different kind of “public performance”. 8th house your lesson part 1/2
8th house Aries cusp:
You were born with an aura of the independent pilot. The world itself seems to move slow and almost in a sense out of your orbit. You’re not at all a stranger to intensity or the idea of loss which can come as both a massive hurt to those around you but also an air of emotional absence in the times it matters most. Aries being the child of the zodiac translates to the realm of transformation and rebirth via personal immaturity which in itself means that you often travel down the road of trial and error longer than most and at times to your own detriment. Your lesson is to realize that as much as you’ve mastered self preservation you must also realize that the world is made up of plenty of main characters besides you and some of these characters love and care about you if you’d take your foot of the gas for a moment to see.
Who you share it with: Jay z, Madonna, Keanu Reeves, Walt Disney

Noah solloway(The affair)Showtime

8th house Taurus cusp:
You were born with a natural sense of stability. The world to you seems easy, people in your eyes throw a fit for nothing, for what reason is there to shout about your discomfort when you could simply create a comfortable situation? You always seek bliss and at times this can cause others to walk around you as if glass were laid about the floor as no one wants to be left in the dust after you deem them to much of a damper to your good mood. It’s easy for you to discontinue something that’s not providing in a sense which is both good and bad as sometimes those you let go are oblivious to the slow burn that’s been taking place underneath your unfazed exterior. Your lesson is to learn that others shouldn’t be casualties in your search for the sensuality and security you seek and security shouldn’t be your sole hold to this world! For what should happen where you to lose all you have?
Who you share it with: Leonardo DiCaprio, Beyoncé knowles, Britney Spears, Adolf hitler.
Fictional characters like you:
Clay Jenson(13 reasons why)Netflix
Wolfgang & Lito Rodriguez(sense8) Netflix
Sydney Barrett(legion) FX
🍃Arctic monkeys - 505
🍃jack white - would you fight for my love
8th house Gemini cusp:
You were born naturally in a pair of two on a emotional level. Parts of you are presented to a situation as is whilst there are often entire personalities inside you bustling around like the streets of New York. Due to your back and forth and often immensely “screened” nature it’s hard for people to truly meet you, which is often further intensified by the way this energy manifest in true Gemini like fashion which is all around like a cyclone never directly landing on target. In emotional times it’s easier for you to hop into one of your varying personas rather than outright dealing with it thus causing venom to build up until it becomes its on separate persona. Your lesson is to realize that the more you try to hide in a crowd inside yourself the less you’ll be able to successfully bring out the real you; let go of the fear you have of confronting the real hurts in you.
Who you share it with: Nicole Kidman, Katy Perry, Bjork, Tom Cruise
Fictional characters like you:
Dexter Morgan( dexter) USA
Rosita & Eugene(The walking dead) AMC
Sansa Stark(game of thrones) HBO
🌴Daughter - dreams of William
🌴Daughter - no care
8th house cancer cusp:
You were born naturally with the ability to embody sincerity and the moon itself. Love and intimacy come easy to you but that same internal forethought is lost externally. It can be hard for you to express your more sensitive and emotive side to those whom you’re untrusting, doubly so to those you actually care for. With cancer here there is a tendency to get carried away with ones emotions often drowned in whatever sea of emotion they happen to be feeling be it anger, sadness, hate, love, and even nothingness is felt with a deep rooted intensity. Your lack of a healthy medium can at times make those around you feel like they’re being given a silent but overwhelming ultimatum. Your lesson is to learn to dial back the lever. Not everything needs to be a black or white end or be all sensation! Try and find a healthy calm before the storm.
Who you share it with: brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Bruce lee, Kim Kardashian
Fictional characters like you:
Jon snow & arya Stark(game of thrones) HBO
Barry brown & pope(animal kingdom)USA
Mr-robot, Angela moss & Darlene Alderson(Mr. robot)USA
🌑jack white - Love is blindness
🌑ane burn all my tears
8th house Leo cusp:
You were born with a inner flame that serves as a driving force between much of what you do. Your ego is both endearing and something to admire out of how through sheer will and individual reliance you push through much of your turmoil. The issue here lies in the spectacle you make of your own misfortune as some inner part of you needs to be recognized for your sorrow, your pain. The innate desire you have to be recognized at times devours the actuality of what you’re going through, it removes the depth that’s been bestowed upon you. Your lesson is to learn to navigate away from public recognition! Not everyone needs to know what lies deep in your closet-nor do you need to relish in telling them about it.
Who you share it with: Jesus Christ, Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, Ariana grande, Virgin Mary
Fictional characters like you:
Micky milkovich & frank Gallagher(shameless) showtime
Ulrich Nielson(dark) Netflix
Francis underwood & Thomas Yates( House of cards) Netflix
⛅️The smiths - how soon is now
⛅️The psychedelic furs - Love my way
8th house Virgo cusp:
You were born with a rather reserved and impartial energy. There is a noticeable preference to stay out of involvement or as one would say to keep an observant yet detached liaison with ones surroundings here. Ideally you seek intimacy of the mind rather than physical intimacy outright which occasionally clashes with your unconscious need for “touch.” The cutting nature of Virgo is extremely amplified here often creating literal Barriers between you and the outside world around you which may be good in some cases but not always. Unfortunately your more sacrificing and caring traits are shadowed by the cold and often meticulously thought out side you present. Your lesson is to understand that people are flawed, but most importantly as a human your too are indeed flawed.
Who you share it with: Barack Obama, Megan Fox, Nicki Minaj, Russell Crowe, Naomi Campbell.
Fictional characters like you:
Doug stamper & Claire underwood(house of cards) Netflix
Javier pereira(good behavior) USA
Bette Davis(feud: Bette and Joan) FX
🍂The dead weather - rocking horse
🍂Johnny cash - mercy seat
8th house libra cusp:
You were born with a almost unbelievable amount of innocence and charm. Socially your impeccable always capable of giving the world and those around you exactly what they’ve wanted and more. Ironically the weighted nature of libra here actuality provides a bit of clarity on the darker themes associated with the 8th house. You find transformations something more on the side of beauty rather than something on the side of the vulgar and obstructive. There is a dying goddess syndrome associated with this placement being the fact that those whom have this seem to see a gradual death of their beauty only to be completely remodeled even more beautiful than they were previously. Though despite the ease presented here shallowness and inaccessibility cloud you, as often speaking upon real and dark matters with you seem to scare the child in you that wants to see the world as jolly and amicable. Your lesson is to see the beauty in not only the pure side of life but also the struggles and pains that exist; not to turn a blind eye but to see the truth before you.
Who you share it with: michael Jackson, George Clooney, Orlando bloom, David bowe, Whitney Houston.
Fictional characters like you:
Joshua ‘j’ Cody & Catherine brown(animal kingdom) USA
Tyrese, Gabriel stoked & Paul “Jesus”(walking dead) AMC
Celeste wright & ed Mackenzie(Big little lies) HBO
🐿nena - 99 luftballons
🐿Tracy Chapman - fast car
8th house Scorpio cusp:
You were born with an atmosphere of death, like that of a one winged angel out of sight of the sky. Much like Aries intensity is no foreigner to you Nor is the concept of darkness in the life around you. Unlike most you’ve seen the hardships, the falls, the wounds, the scars of the broken. Scorpio is at home in this house-often in such a way that these natives seem the most alive despite the overwhelming flow of contempt that surrounds them. You’re capable of deep healing-healing that could bring someone out of the very clouds themselves but this is something deep within you that just first require you to meet the winged demons lurking around in your own mind and soul. People are frightened by your true nature and because of this at times you wear a cloak around those be it a smile or an exaggerated sense of happiness just so they don’t leave you. Your lesson is to realize that just because people can’t expect your truth doesn’t mean your to much nor does it mean you’re evil or too dark it means your path is unique and your path is one unlike any others.
Who you share it with: Rihanna, Shakira, zayn malik, James Dean, Ryan gosling.
Fictional characters like you:
Ellen barkin & deran Cody(animal kingdom) USA
Maeve Millay & Dr Robert Ford(westworld)HBO
Sun(sense8)Netflix
8th house Sagittarius cusp:
Many sag in the 8th house natives are born with a very obscure but unique two Time life trait. Often these natives live life in stage one, infantile and erratic, living life without remorse or commitment-flying from the next fleeting feeling to the next then crashing into phase two the more quietly observant years-viewing the world yet reacting only when necessary, optimistic and deeply self spiritual in what they deem as the unknown. Commitment is something that you grow into, not necessarily something that comes naturally like with most people which can cause you trouble in the realm of romance and the realm of overall projects and even things as small as a job. At some point in these natives lives there is a turning point in which they no longer are a horse prancing about they become a true centaur capable of deep and often soulful commitment to another or whatever calls them forth but as with the 8th house this is a trait that takes time to cultivate. Your lesson in this life is to learn that settling down and committing in no way shape or form takes away any ability for you to live or explore the world any more than you would’ve been capable without! It’s okay to love and belong to something the world won’t stop moving I promise. Stop sabotaging relationships that are good for you just because you’re afraid of missing out on a party that’ll never come.
Who you share it with: Martin Luther king, Mikey Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Mariah Carey, snoop dog.
Fictional characters like you:
Kevin Garvey & matt lamison(the leftovers)HBO
Lenny busker & Kerry loudermilk(Legion)
John Shelby & May Carleton(peaky blinders) Netflix
🐎kid bloom - I kissed a girl and she kissed me
🐎Roosevelt - Montreal
8th house Capricorn cusp:
Ah Capricorn in the 8th your were born with wisdom, wisdom that both to your befit and detriment has aged you before you were even able to waddle across the ground. You have a more astute nature about you, one that makes it clear to others that you’re not to be trifled with. Often there is a heavy energy that shrouds you, capable of bringing a room to a complete stand still once mastered-though in the same token this ability of respect also causes alienation amongst those closest and dear. The world in your eyes is a constant high rise uphill battle, one you refuse for any reason to let get the jump upon you. The bravado and tenacity you’re capable of at times can get you to the top but at what cost? The question for natives of this placements is wether or not power and prestige tower over love and care? Money and glory or intimacy and vulnerability? Your lesson plain and simple is to open your heart, allow the inevitability or a let down or a sad day to touch your heart! Because even though you’d like it not to be true you feel pain and you need a gentle hug as much as the person besides you.
Who you share it with: Albert Einstein, lady Gaga, Sandra Bullock, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
🐺Chris isaak - wicked game
🐺placebo - running up that Hill
8th house Aquarius cusp:
You were born with a natural detachment from your own body, There has always been a at times cold, yet alarmingly far away nature about you. These natives where often the unproblematic child when growing up on an emotional level, sure outburst were occupant from time to time-but that more childlike and often emotive nature present in us all just wasn’t there with these natives. The older you get the more detachment begins to embody you often leading to the creation similarly to Gemini of alter egos, varying emotional responses, along with altogether emotional alienation. The processing of emotions is either non existent-or a painful process for you leading to avoidance of the big picture which is usually that these natives repress childhood trauma and even present trauma to the point of numbness-leading to a plethora of random, and seemingly obscure emotional reactions at inappropriate moments or moments of aloneness. Either you feel it or you don’t and often times you prefer it to be the latter which can often create an aura of being out of reach which causes many who romantically or even are related to these individuals to seek out reactions from the natives by any means which only serves to further cause the native to dive into themselves. Your lesson is to confront the big bad red door that you’ve placed so many chains upon, take it day by day, year by year if need be and slowly but gradually confront all those demons! Learn their names, their triggers, their motives and their sob stories-and feel every painful rushing feeling-let yourself be alive.
Who you share it with: Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, bill gates, will smith, Mel Gibson, Tyra Banks & George w. Bush.
Fictional characters like you:
Legion(legion)FX
Elliot alderson & Joanna wellick(Mr. robot) USA
Lydia & Allison argent(teen wolf)MTV
🌫Stardust - music sounds better with you
🌫 Daughter - run
8th house Pisces cusp:
You were born with a deep receptivity to this world. Often times emotions much like Scorpio and cancer here are the theme but in a much more powerfully cosmic sense! You feel the world around you-it’s tension and quiet underflow which often can be easily overwhelming for these natives unknown to those whom happen to be close to them. Their is a sense of grief for these natives one that colors them even in their happiest moments it always seems like something is wrong and slightly adjacent. Intimacy is something that comes naturally for these natives but is also something that’s subtly avoided out of fear of being so dependent on another that the ego itself is lost in the transaction. They deeply fear the loss of their own selves through another which often causes a repulsion to the idea of sex or commitment yet Pisces nature always somehow leads them directly into the fray as if it were a moving train. Your love is very genuine and true but it can also be so honest and sincere that those whom aren’t ready often find themselves either attracted to what they can take from you or feel as though they don’t deserve you. Your lesson is to grasp yourself from the world of the spiritual-to create an earthy manifestation to ground yourself with, to learn and feel through the energy around you and see who’s deserving and who’s using you-to love the world but also to allow yourself to be loved in the same passion you do it. Stop absorbing all the personalities around you and cultivate your own otherwise you’ll lose track of the real you.
Who you share it with: Marilyn Monroe, Donald trump, Johnny Depp, Drake, Selena Gomez

flash, flash rp > member groups
we have ten member groups, listed below!
< quartz #ecbcc1 >
level one: you know them as the people who’ve never had so much as an ounce of fame in their lives. they listen to the latest hits and go see the hottest movies and whilst they might dream of that celebrity life, they’re not even within range. they’re the regular jane’s and joe’s, going about their day to day life. if they’re related to someone noteworthy it’s a distant relation that’s barely worth mentioning. if they work in the entertainment industry, they work a seemingly insignificant behind-the-scenes job that barely gets them near the rich and famous. whether by choice or not, these people are all but invisible. examples: you, the pizza delivery man
< amber #d5ab82 >
level two: you swear you’ve seen them before but can’t quite place it. maybe it’s from a commercial on television or even a meme? who knows. but seeing them in public often warrants a double take. you might follow their social media, because they worked with that really famous guy from time to time, but after a while you lose interest because aside from those one or two pictures of the famous guy, they mostly post pictures of their dog. examples: danielle bregoli (cash me outside girl), justine biticon, rebecca black
< topaz #d5cb82 >
level three: who knows. they’ve gained enough buzz on social media, but have barely made a blimp in the radar of the press. maybe they’ve made it big on a web series, landed a minor role on a show or have a fairly serious following on instagram. but its not enough to land them roles or endorsements. perhaps they’re merely related to someone who is famous. regardless of where they stand - they still have a long way to go to be considered famous, but they’re definitely ones to watch. examples: grace helbig, iskra lawrence, michelle phan, pony 포니
< opal #9fd5c9 >
level four: you know them from that one role they were in but that was it. these are the one-hit wonders - who are still struggling to follow up their last big single. these are the people who have only just arrived at the scene and are still trying to find their way. whether they got there through a lucky break or they spent years working very hard to get to where they are; they’re only now getting a taste of the fame they’ve wanted. alternatively, you might just know them as that former child star that was never heard of again, or that famous singer who’s been dealing with a particularly nasty downward spiral. regardless, the press only catches wind of them once in a while - and only when it makes a really good headline. examples: aaron carter, carly rae jepsen, darren criss, elijah wood, jennifer grey, kaia gerber, macaulay culkin
< jade #b9d582 >
level five: to say these people are well known would both be true and false. people have started to freak out whenever they’re seen in public, but it’s seen more as a novelty than actual achievement when people meet them. the media have started to take an interest in them but it’s only when they’ve landed a notable role or are seen hanging out with someone more famous than them. whether that be acting, singing, or directing movies; they’re worlds away from being in the spotlight all the time, but they’re doing well enough to make a living out of what they love doing most. examples: britt robertson, brandon urie, lana del rey, lorde, marina & the diamonds, rebel wilson, sam smith, vanessa hudgens
< amethyst #d2b7cf >
level six: these are the people who have made a name for themselves in the industry and are slowly but surely getting their names out there in the rest of the world as well. you know them as those people who just released a highly successful single, or just landed a big role in an even bigger project; not everyone knows their names quite yet, but they’re certainly spicing up the tabloids as well as the internet with their shots to fame. whilst it might seem like they’ve hit the jackpot, their fame is fickle. one small misstep could still completely ruin their careers. examples: ansel elgort, charlie puth, alicia vikander, bill skarsgaard, halsey, diego luna, john boyega, taron egerton
< sapphire #a89fd5 >
level seven: “oh my god, did you hear about-” is the first thing you hear whenever they’re brought up in day to day conversation. you’re constantly bombarded by news outlets about where they are and who they’re dating. paparazzi hounds them everyday. they’re criticized for their every move, from the clothes they wear to the cryptic tweets they leave on twitter. they’re the flavor of the month, so to speak, and everyone wants a taste. examples: ariana grande, chrissy teigen, gigi hadid, cole sprouse, harry styles, kylie jenner, taylor swift, zayn malik
< ruby #d57c81 >
level eight: the celebrities who have reached a level where they are confident in their fame and one or two little scandals won’t be like throwing themselves to the wolves. they’ve earned the respect of the audience and maybe even of the press to the extent that they can get away with minor things without it completely ruining their careers. they played their part and they jumped through all the hoops; they went through their shot to fame and have managed to hold on to their fame as best as they can. whilst they can likely still comfortably walk the streets of their hometown, it’s more because people have gotten used to their fame rather than anything else. they’re likely getting asked to join one big project after another and are busy little bees, taking optimum advantage of their momentum and their time in the limelight. examples: bruno mars, emma watson, ed sheeran, rachel mcadams, robert pattinson, ryan gosling
< emerald #9fd59f >
level nine (premium): you hear their names and you immediately know - whatever they’re putting out, it’s going to be an instant hit. nevermind if it has the makings of a box office flop, the moment their name attaches to any project, it becomes an instant cash cow. they’re the household names even your senile grandmother would know. they’ve likely been working hard for all these years and are now in a position where they just can’t be shaken. you care about their every move, whether that be them posting a picture about their new project on instagram or them doing that interview about their favorite diet. why? because it’s in those little comforts that you’re reminded that they’re still human like you and me. examples: angelina jolie, brad pitt, beyonce, britney spears, leonardo dicaprio, george clooney, reese witherspoon, selma hayek, tom cruise, vin diesel
< diamond #97a7c6 >
level ten (premium): they’re icons. living legends. call them what you want but they are it. their names are so familiar that they have become vocabulary - and even used as such. whenever a new artist comes out with a new album, whenever an actor takes on a role - they are cited as inspiration or the media compares it to their work. they have reached the point in their careers where their legacy could easily outlive them and they are thus immortalised by it. and yet despite being constant media attention, they are a mystique about them that no one can quite place. but most of all - their fame is impregnable to bad press. they’re untouchable and they’re what everyone in the entertainment industry strives to be like. years or even decades can go by and people will still know who they are; they’ve made a permanent mark on society and chances are, they’ll go down in the history books. examples: barbara streisand, hugh hefner, madonna, michael jackson, morgan freeman, oprah winfrey, prince, steven spielberg

✨ indicates favorites of mine!
✨ Be Still by thisonegoes (150k) [zarry, au, detectives, angst, prose]
Zayn hears the telltale sound of stretcher wheels bouncing up over a weather strip. A tech backs out of the door first, as both Zayn and Harry turn to watch. They wheel the black body bag out and lift it down the stairs, to take her away. She's officially cleared for transport, no longer a resident of the household. She's now just a corpse wrapped in plastic.
When they finally turn back to one another, Harry blinks and then shatters into pieces.
Detective Zayn AU.
call me a safe bet (i’m betting i’m not) by mrsenjolras (29k) [lirry, au, friends to lovers, friends with benefits, angst, pining]
They agreed that it would be too hard for them to keep up their relationship long distance, that they didn’t want to risk losing their friendship. So it made sense that when Harry was away, they saw other people. They’re the same as they always are when they’re together--Harry guesses you could call them friends with benefits, but he doesn’t think that really encompasses what they mean to each other. Louis calls them idiots, which, well, probably isn’t all that inaccurate.
It’s not really that big of a deal. Harry is happy. Liam is happy--well, Harry’s pretty sure Liam is happy. So Louis can just shut it.
[Or: Liam and Harry have an arrangement, and it all goes great, until it doesn't.]
Can’t Fool Me by emma1234 (25k) [au, uni, secret relationship, fluff, smut]
“I hate frats,” Louis repeats for what feels like the millionth time.
“Yes, I’ve heard, once or twice or every day for the past three years,” Liam says. His careful tone reminds Louis of how his mom always sounds when one of his siblings is on the brink of a tantrum.
Louis glances speculatively at Liam’s frat brothers, who are still huddled together and chatting, with the exception of the one who’s looking in Louis’ direction. Maybe Louis shouldn’t rule out a tantrum. While making a scene wouldn’t actually free him from fraternity nonsense in the future, it would at least be entertaining.
AU where Louis hates fraternities and would never be into a frat boy. And one of these things is definitely not a lie.
Counting The Steps Between Us by zarah5 (24k) [au, pining, friends to lovers]
AU. So, yeah. That year abroad helped Harry establish that he is in love with his best friend. Now, if Louis would stop treating him like a little brother, that would be awesome. (Additional ingredients: a collapsing tree house, a lot of pining, the other three boys as Louis' new best mates from university, and a camping trip. Serve hot.)
End of the World Tonight by whoknows (12k) [ou, exes to lovers, coming out, angst]
“You remember when you told me that you wanted to live with me for the rest of your life?” Louis asks. His voice trembles a bit, exposing exactly how much he hates what he’s about to do. How much he wishes that he wasn’t about to do it.
“I remember,” Harry says. His expression is a little lost, like he thinks that they’re about to have a fight and he’s not sure what they’re supposed to be fighting about. Louis closes his eyes because he has to, has to take a second to regain his courage. He can’t keep doing this. He can’t keep suffering, can’t keep killing himself trying to hide this. He’s ready. He’s been ready for a long time.
feel so foolish by juliusschmidt (13k) [au, high school, pining, fluff]
Louis and his friends keep laughing at Harry; he's sure of it. But he's not sure why.
for now (and forever) by orphan_account (83k) [au, military/war, fake relationship, friends to lovers, slow burn]
"It's nice that you want to offer that, but I just can't do that. First of all, it's illegal."
Louis shakes his head vigorously. "No, no. It's not like one of us is gunning for a visa."
"Listen to yourself," Harry laughs, shaking Louis' shoulders. "Don't you think it's a bit weird to con the country you're supposed to be serving?"
Louis is going into the Army, Harry is going nowhere, and there's nothing like a little identity fraud between friends.
glimpse of the silhouettes by orphan_account (7k) [ou, pwp]
Harry isn't sure what the rules are for this. It's hard to believe that there are any, that's there's a handbook just waiting for him to buy: why is my best mate getting hard in my lap when I touch his arse?
✨ Here In The Afterglow by fondleeds (88k) [au, historical/past setting, hurt/comfort, friends to lovers, out, pining, angst, fluff, smut]
“If you hadn’t noticed, I don’t have many friends,” Louis whispers, the blossom of insecurity in his stomach unfurling and clawing its way into his throat.
Harry is silent for a long time, and then he speaks; a soft, slow uncurl that makes Louis’ stomach shake. “I’ll be your friend.”
-
1970’s AU. In a tiny town in Idaho, Louis’ life is changed forever by the arrival of a curious stranger.
If I Fall For You, Would You Fall Too? by slashter (29k) [zourry, au, fluff, famous/nonfamous, smut]
“Fuck, Louis, most of us can’t even find one person to date, and you go and land yourself two!”
Louis flips Niall off and closes his eyes, trying his hardest to ignore the blond’s peals of laughter. It’s true what Niall says, he can’t have them both. And this is him imagining that either of them would even want to get with him, which he knows is pretty much ridiculous considering the fact that they’re obviously seeing each other and why the hell would you pick Louis Tomlinson over Harry Styles or Zayn Malik?
[Or the one where Louis is a uni dropout who's just managed to land a new job as a housemaid, and he ends up getting to clean the shared apartment of well-known socialites Harry and Zayn]
Infinity in Always by cumquat (22k) [au, hurt, angst]
A stranger greets Louis whenever he looks in a mirror—a stranger with sunken eyes, sharp cheekbones and hollow cheeks, whose strands of mousy hair tangle into intricate knots; curl into something akin to a broken halo.
Every morning he recites, speaks to no one but himself so he could try and remember that, “This is me. This is how I look like.” The simple act is done so often that it has become more like a ritual than a routine; and even then it’s only part of what he must do the second moonlight dies and day breathes again.
(In which Louis suffers from prosopagnosia; he can’t recognize faces, even familiar ones. He can’t remember his own face, let alone Harry’s, but he remembers the way his skin feels under his fingertips, how he trembles under his touch as if Louis is fire, and Harry is nothing but mere paper, disintegrating into ash)
✨ keep the light on by renlyne (43k) [gryles, ou, friends to lovers, slow burn, angst]
but·ter·fly ef·fect noun 1. (with reference to chaos theory) the phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere. 2. a cumulatively large effect that a very small or seemingly insignificant natural force may produce over a period of time. In which Harry Styles tears up over glitter, and Nick Grimshaw’s life becomes immeasurably more complicated.
Or: it’s 2020, and really, better late than never.
✨ Like an Endless Summer by Anonymous (87k) [au, summer, slow burn, friends to lovers, pining, fluff]
“You just wanna go fawn over Styles as soon as possible,” Zayn grumbles.
“I do not. Plus, he probably got ugly this year. Eighteen is an awkward time...I bet he’s got acne and one of those terrible fuckboy haircuts all the hipsters are getting these days, with the shaved sides? Or, Louis is a riding instructor at a summer camp, and Harry is a fellow counselor who he’s been successfully managing his crush on for the last two summers. That is, until Harry shows up this year leveled up and lethal, and all Louis’s formerly perfected veneer of nonchalance melts like a popsicle in the sun.

"Zayn was so stunning and so consistently kind to Liam that his stupid heart had the annoying habit of practically vibrating in his chest whenever they were together. Liam wasn’t deep enough in denial not to know what that meant anymore, but he was still forcing the feeling down as vehemently as possible. It was difficult, though, when Zayn turned to Liam with that smile and said his name like he was worth time and attention, and all the while in the back of his mind there was this chant of—
Get the fuck out of my house. I’m not having a fag for a son. I want you and your shit gone by the time I get back.

Now, his sights are set towards competing in—and winning—the European Grand Prix, the biggest and most difficult race of the entire year, so he can disappear underground for good. He’s close enough, too, until an alpha sports journalist is assigned to follow Louis’s every move as he prepares for the event of his career.

Between his daughter, Liam's hellion twins, and Sophia throwing him into any romantic tangle she can think of, life gets a little crazy. Of course, everything changes the moment Lo and the twins get interested in their school musical, The Wizard of Oz. The only problem is, they're both still hopelessly in love.

Louis thought it would feel different once he got to LA. He knew it was best for him; a fresh start as far away as he could get. But when the plane touched down and he stepped out into the hot air around LAX, Louis felt exactly the same.
There's still a hole in his chest where his heart used to be; ripped away even after trying for so many years to keep it from happening. He knows it's not all his fault, not by a mile, but it doesn't stop him from blaming himself for it all going wrong.
If he'd just stayed strong, if he'd said no when he said yes, maybe everything would be different.
Or, Harry has been trying to convince Louis to date him for years, but Louis has always been wary of Harry’s fairly obvious commitment issues. Louis eventually gives him a chance, opening his heart up to the one thing he fears.

Where in the World Is Taylor Swift? An Investigation.
Is she hangin’ with Ed Sheeran in a mythical forest somewhere? Or being transported in a piece of luggage? One thing’s certain: The world’s biggest pop star has been very MIA.
AMY ZIMMERMAN 07.19.17 1:00 AM ET
ts1989fanatic this so called writer is no fan of Taylor Swift, so if you don’t want to almost puke and end up enraged by this TRASH read no further.
Taylor Swift is the teenage tattoo of A-List celebrities: Every so often we remember that she’s still there, and we don’t quite know what to do with her.
The pop star has been more or less MIA since last summer, when Kim Kardashian took to Snapchat to out Swift as a stack of snake emojis hiding inside a patriotic onesie.
Taylor Swift—an incredibly calculating celeb who nonetheless managed to market herself as the naïve girl next door—might be a snake, but she’s our snake. In a galaxy of eye-roll-eliciting Katy Perrys and rage-inducing Rob Kardashians, Swift always stood out as a celebrity who could generate an infinite amount of relatively inoffensive content about herself.
ts1989fanatic there are several snakes mentioned in this post including the writer, but Taylor is not one of them.
From her rotating cast of Ken doll boyfriends to her famous squad, Swift consistently made headlines. Love her or hate her, but show some freaking gratitude for a woman who would go on a double date with her friend who is currently dating her ex-boyfriend just to feed us clickbait-hungry monsters.
ts1989fanatic Calvin Harris is a Ken Doll OK sure this writer is a moron, and the double date was not to feed idiots like you.
When Swift was exposed as a liar and went into hiding, the entertainment blogosphere lost one of its brightest stars. Swift elegantly toed the line between A-list celebrity and overexposure—a line that Kim Kardashian promptly pushed her over. So it’s no surprise that the media-adept star reacted by doing a total-180, transforming from “girl who gets papp’d every day” to “mythical nocturnal creature who may or may not subsist on the burnt offerings of Ed Sheeran.”
ts1989fanatic I’m still waiting for the unedited full conversation and not the 90 seconds of chopped and edited BULLSHIT that KARTRASHIAN put out to prove Taylor as a liar (until then calling Taylor a liar is CRAP)
Keeping a low profile is one thing, but shipping yourself out of your own apartment is quite another.
ts1989fanatic This has already been proven as BULLSHIT and retracted.
Swift-Watch 2017 reached a new nadir earlier this week, when word spread that the star had been carried out of her Tribeca building in a piece of luggage. Stories like “Taylor Swift Was Definitely Not Being Carted Around in a Giant Suitcase” quickly debunked the rumors, but, still, if you have to clarify that Taylor Swift is not cramming herself into a trunk every time she wants to go to SoulCycle, clearly something is up. So how, over the course of one year, did Taylor Swift go from one of the biggest pop stars in the world to a potential human carry-on? What has this woman been up to? And why does Ed Sheeran always seem to make everything worse?
ts1989fanatic Taylor is avoiding IDIOTS like this writer so that she might actually have a normal relationship and a little privacy from being mocked by the media over everything she does.
The Crab Walk
youtube
At this point, the story of Taylor Swift’s Snapchat outing is the stuff of celebrity lore (more specifically, North West’s bedtime story). After Swift fell back on her traditional victim narrative, complaining that Kanye Westreleased a vulgar rap about her without her permission, Kim published footage of Kanye running the offensive lyrics past Swift in the studio. Swift’s lies held up about as well as a street-cast model on an hours-long Yeezy runway, and the pop singer was quickly denounced as a calculating fake. But we didn’t understand the full weight of Kim’s public image assault until a few weeks later, when Swift was caught crab-walking out of her gym to avoid the paparazzi. I’m not saying that Kim Kardashian hypes herself up with a few lines of Pixy Stix every night and watches this video of Taylor Swift walking sideways, but I’m not not saying that.
ts1989fanatic Taylor has always tried to find different ways to avoid the paps, do you all remember walking backwards down a hiking trail I do.
‘Jury Duty’
The VMAs are a site of trauma for anyone who hates bad fashion and Canadian tuxedos. But the annual awards show is particularly triggering for Taylor Swift, whose years-long feud with Kanye West began on that very stage. So when the VMAs rolled around so quickly after Swift’s Snapchat fiasco, the star turned away from her walk-in closet full of sequined mini dresses and opted to fulfill her civic duty instead. Yes, Taylor Swift, image-crafter extraordinaire, managed to avoid a high-profile awards show appearance by claiming that she had jury duty the next day. Knowing that that was a “dog ate my homework”-level excuse, Swift obviously had to go the extra mile and actually show up to jury duty. While a Nashville judge eventually dismissed Swift as a potential juror in the case, the singer still managed to befriend a few lucky Tennesseans—including a local resident who got Swift to sign her copy of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. You truly cannot make this shit up.
ts1989fanatic It was not a claim that she had jury duty IT WAS A FUCKING FACT.
R.I.P. Hiddleswift
There are suspiciously paparazzi-friendly dates, there are fake Hollywood couples, and then there’s this. Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston announced their brand partnership when they swapped spit for the photogs on a bunch of rocks—as one does. It was perfect synergy from the very start: Tom Hiddleston wanted to become James Bond, and Taylor Swift likes white boys. The “human relationship” proceeded in a manner characteristic of typical human relationships.
They ate dinner together, held hands, and traveled the world. Swift even let Hiddleston pick out an interpersonal relationship party favor from her closet of affirmational tank tops. Unfortunately, Hiddleston didn’t appear to “heart T.S.” enough to stand by her side once her stock started plummeting—either that, or Swift realized that having such an artificial-seeming relationship was making her look even less authentic. For a deliberately manufactured relationship, Hiddleswift was pretty ill-timed.
Tom Hiddleston was not Taylor Swift’s most famous boyfriend, nor was he the pettiest. He wasn’t Harry Styles or a Kennedy. He was, however, the most willing to plant his ass on a bunch of cold pointy rocks and make out for some pictures. R.I.P., Hiddleswift: gone but, thanks to an army of dedicated paparazzi, never forgotten.
ts1989fanatic yes their relationship was short lived but this does not mean fake, only two people in the world that know the truth the rest is just Speculation.
Halloween!
Taylor Swift was Deadpool for Halloween, I guess.
ts1989fanatic And you point is you PUTZ
Decision 2017
Despite not having the balls to endorse Hillary Clinton, self-described feminist Taylor Swift urged her 102 million social media followers to “Go out and VOTE.” It worked out really well. Thanks a lot, Taylor.
ts1989fanatic Taylor could not win either way if she endorsed Hillary she would have been attacked for that. Taylor Swift is not to BLAME for TRUMP.
Two Directions
Though technically released in December, Swift’s Zayn Malik duet truly made waves when it was featured in Fifty Shades Darker, a movie about having the least kinky BDSM sex imaginable in Seattle. In January, Malik and Swift co-starred in a music video for the track. Someone on Wikipedia has written a better synopsis of this music video than I ever could: “The video starts with Zayn emerging from his car on a rainy night as the paparazzi take photos. As Zayn enters a hotel he starts singing his part and as the chorus begins he reaches the elevator with red lights and then pans over to another elevator with Swift singing her part and proceeds to her hotel room. Zayn in his room sings the chorus and Swift pours some champagne in a glass. The rest of the video is Zayn and Swift throwing objects like glasses, lamps, pillows across their rooms in anger.”
ts1989fanatic Take synopsis shine it up and stick it were the sun don’t shine.
Super Bowl Bonanza
Swift performed her first and quite possibly last concert of the year in February, telling the audience that, “By coming to this show tonight, you are attending 100 percent of this year’s tour dates.”
ts1989fanatic this part I can’t disagree with.
The Ed Sheeran Rendezvous
Who cares?
ts1989fanatic Millions of fans do you stupid fucking idiot.
Mystery Boo
In May, news broke that Taylor Swift was months-deep into a relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn. While anyone who’s familiar with Swift knows that up-and-coming Brits are her personal heroin, the real surprise was that the singer actually pulled off a secret romance. For months, Swift and Alwyn made like Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and weren’t seen. A wig was reportedly involved. By the time news leaked, Swift was allegedly already looking at houses in the U.K. (although, to be fair, buying real estate in her new boyfriends’ neighborhoods is what Taylor Swift does between following back on Instagram and going on a first date).
ts1989fanatic that crack about buying real estate is garbage that was something she did once and could easily and probably was coincidence.
The Drop
Taylor Swift will never miss a chance to screw over her enemies, even if she has to orchestrate her vengeance through a WiFi hotspot that she set up inside her giant suitcase. Taylor Swift came here to do many things—make out with the hottest guys, put more fiddles in pop music, name her cat after Olivia Benson—but she did not come here to play. Katy Perry learned this lesson the hard way in June, when Swift quietly released her entire musical catalog on Spotify the same night that Perry dropped her new album. Perry’s abysmal “Witness”—which featured a diss track about TayTay—just couldn’t compete with Swift’s entire oeuvre. It was a rough day for Katy Perry, and a great day for 15-year-olds with Spotify premium.
ts1989fanatic Sorry but KP deserved all she got.
America the Beautiful
While something has obviously been off in Taylor-world this year, nothing cemented this fact quite like Swift’s refusal to throw her annual Fourth of July party. No one event has ever encapsulated the American dream quite like Swift’s mandatory summer squad meet-ups: a mosh pit of blonde beauties with flat stomachs enjoying water sports and baking Pinterest-worthy goodies in red, white, and blue bikinis.
This year, instead of heading for Swift’s Rhode Island estate, the squad was left to their own devices. Most notably, model Karlie Kloss celebrated the Fourth by posing for an Instagram with Kendall Jenner—Kim Kardashian’s half-sister. Kudos to Kloss for finding the only other celebrity in the world who probably can’t name a Destiny’s Child song(and has been accused of a far more egregious act of cultural appropriation). Kloss’ decision to spend Swift’s favorite holiday with a Kardashian was read as an insult, leading to the possible conclusion that Kloss and Swift are no longer besties. Adding overblown insult to imagined injury, Lorde was later caught insinuating that she and Swift are no longer co-squad members.
And then there was only… Martha Hunt.
ts1989fanatic Karlie was at fashion week she’s a FUCKING MODEL that’s her job IDIOT, as for Lorde that’s already been clapped back on by Lorde herself.
For someone who gets paid to write, you suck at it maybe you should get into writing fiction that’s pretty much what this whole piece was.

Harry Styles: Brexit is the wrong direction
The last thing Harry Styles does before he goes to bed each night is send himself an email listing what he’s doing the next day. “Even if it’s really boring, like ‘9am: coffee’. If you have no plans, you’re at a loss sometimes. I find it difficult to drift.”
He thinks it’s probably a hangover from his six years in one of the biggest boybands of all time, One Direction, where every minute of their lives on tour was relentlessly micromanaged. World tours could last nearly a year — and they didn’t just involve playing stadiums. There was also endless promo to do during the day and recording sessions during “downtime”. One Direction: This Is Us — the 2013 behind-the-scenes documentary by the Super Size Me film-maker Morgan Spurlock — captured his bandmate Zayn Malik being hauled mercilessly out of his tour bus bunk bed, 10 minutes after falling asleep, to record a vocal line for a new song.
After Malik quit the band in early 2015, he published a book explaining how the intensely regimented schedule led to him developing an eating disorder. “I didn’t feel like I had control over anything else in my life, but food was something I could control, so I did,” he wrote. In contrast, Styles seems to have thrived on the discipline.
“I love routine,” he explains. “You have it when you’re younger. You have school at this time, so breakfast at this time, you get up at this time. Even when people finish school, it’s a bit tough to know what to do with yourself.”
Perhaps it was a way for him to hold onto some of that youth. He was 16 when he moved from Cheshire to London as an X Factor hopeful. It was 2010, the year Simon Cowell groomed five nubile teenage boys who hadn’t made it through the solo auditions to form a supergroup. Styles became the most famous and lusted-after member of what quickly became the most famous and lusted-after boyband in the world. According to this year’s Rich List, he is now worth £40m.
Now 23, Styles is experimenting with being master of his own universe. One Direction went on “indefinite hiatus” last year and he has spent the intervening months writing and recording his debut solo album and filming his first movie role for Christopher Nolan’s war epic, Dunkirk, due for release this summer. The album is called Harry Styles — perhaps the most breathlessly anticipated solo record since Robbie left Take That. Its first single, Sign of the Times — a swooping, bombastic, 5½-minute ballad — topped the charts in 84 countries on the day of its release. But the moment it really hits me what an enormous deal he is is when he calls me out of the blue one Friday afternoon to arrange our interview.
“Hi, it’s Harry,” coos the young, northwestern voice belonging to the withheld number.
“Harry who?” I bark, assuming it’s some kid with a gap-year job trying to sell me something.
“Harry Styles. Do you have time to get some lunch next week?”
The “personal touch” is the mark of the true global superstar. Bono, Chris Martin and Taylor Swift all know the power of sidestepping the bureaucracy of managers and PRs to deliver their own intimate invitations. It sends a number of messages, most obviously: I am normal and relatable and can use a phone. But also: I alone control my destiny. After establishing that my diary is pretty free, Styles sets a date at one of his favourite central London restaurants. He’ll book.
Three days later, I arrive at the restaurant to find there is no reservation for Harry Styles. (Of course not. What kind of megastar would book a table under their own name?) There is a table for someone with a similar name, but as I don’t know it and the table has a special VIP request on it, the waiter is understandably reluctant to seat little old me there. Five minutes later, “Harry Spring” bounds in looking a lot like Harry Styles and vouches for me. Phew.
He is lovely from the off — not just to me, but to all the serving staff. Warm hugs and handshakes for everyone, “pleases” and “thank-yous” after every other word. We sit down and he immediately jumps back up to help the waiter carry some waters over.
He is wearing jeans, tan ankle boots and a Hawaiian shirt, unbuttoned low enough to catch a generous eyeful of his well-maintained torso and the countless tattoos that splatter his chest and left arm. His hair is pushed back off his face by a pair of sunglasses perched on top of his head. He wears a crucifix around his neck and his fingers are weighed down by chunky silver rings. Yes, he is gorgeous: expressive, boyish face; gentle demeanour; impeccable manners. But without wishing to dent his heartthrob status, I’m not sure the nagging urge I have to take him home with me is desire. I think I want him as my son.
He has brought two phones with him — one for personal use (it has a screensaver of his baby goddaughter on it) and a pink one to play me his new album. Though just 23, he is already godfather to three kids. Most of his close friends, he says, are older than him. “Moving to London … I just wanted to learn from people who would have advice,” he explains. His friendship with the 32-year-old Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw initially led to rumours that they were in a romance, though Styles has denied he is bisexual. These days speculation about his love life largely revolves around A-list women.
He orders chicken paillard and muses about going pescatarian. “I did it for two weeks as a test. I think I’ll do it at some point for a longer time.” Why does he want to do it? He’s not sure, but “a little bit of discipline is good”, he thinks
.I ask him if he was aware of Zayn Malik’s eating disorder; he says no. Does he wish he had known so he could have done something to help? “I mean, yes, obviously. If anyone is ever going through anything, you always feel like you should know, so you could have done something. But it’s not always how it goes, is it? In the same way that I don’t talk about stuff, other people don’t always talk about stuff, and maybe that’s how they deal with stuff.”
He refuses to say a bad word about his life in One Direction. “It’s very hard to think of it as not this amazing thing. It’s really hard to complain.” While he and the other members of the band are “on hiatus”, Malik is the only one officially to quit. He has since made some rather disparaging comments in the press about One Direction’s music, and has also recorded a song with Taylor Swift — Styles’s ex — for the Fifty Shades Darker film soundtrack. Has he seen much of him recently? There is a pause.
“Um … not so much.” Is it a strained relationship? “It’s OK. I think we’re both happy for each other that we’re doing what we want to do and everyone’s having a good time.”
His smile returns when I ask him about the other three members of the band. “Everyone’s working so much at the moment, but I’ve seen them and we’ve hung out.”
When did he last speak to Simon Cowell? “Recently, actually. Two weeks ago.” He called after hearing an advance copy of Sign of the Times. “He said he really liked it and he was very proud of me. It was very friendly …” he catches himself “… not like past phone calls haven’t been friendly, but I didn’t get that nervy ‘the boss is calling’ feel, which was nice.”
He is itching to play me the album, but before he does I’d like to know why he wanted to go solo. “At certain times you write songs where you just want to tell the whole story,” he says. “Like, if you write a song that’s personal to you, it’s tough to hand that over to a band.”
What things did he want to say? He winces. He has spent the past seven years trying to reveal as little about himself as possible. One Direction press interviews rarely lasted longer than 10 minutes, with four other band members to hide behind. This level of personal dissection is new. “I really wanted it to be honest. I didn’t want to edit lyrics,” he says. “Making this album is one of the best times I’ve ever had. But it’s a much more vulnerable feeling coming to put it out than I’ve experienced before.”
So, to the album. Heavily indebted to 1960s and 1970s rock, psychedelia, alt-country and glam, it’s about as far from One Direction’s high-pitched teeny bop as he could run. He wrote and recorded most of it over a period of two months last summer in a studio in Jamaica. Styles says he was inspired by the 1970s American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson and stuff his parents used to play when he was younger: Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles and the Stones from his father; Norah Jones and Shania Twain from his mother.
The influences might not be very fashionable, but perhaps that’s the point. For all of One Direction’s commercial success, I still struggle to hum a single one of their tunes. Styles has replaced their transient pop flotsam with something more permanent. And it works: a few of the tracks already sound like classics. Lyrically, it’s saturated with sex, longing and heartache — a rare glimpse into his personal life. The final song is called From the Dining Table and begins: “Woke up alone in this hotel room. Played with myself, where were you? Fell back asleep, got drunk by noon, I’ve never felt less cool.”
Played with yourself? You dirty boy!
“Noooo! Played with my thoughts!” he backpedals.
Last month he gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine in which he mentioned that one woman in particular had been a “huge part of the album. Sometimes you want to tip the hat, and sometimes you just want to give them the whole cap … and hope they know it’s just for them.” The comment was seized upon by fans and press as proof the album is all about Kendall Jenner, the model, reality-TV star and half-sister of Kim Kardashian with whom Styles is said to have had an on-off relationship over the past couple of years.
Would he care to set the record straight? Obviously not. “It doesn’t feel to me like [the album] is a romantic thing about one person. It’s more about me than anyone else. I feel like it’s really easy to say it’s about this person, and that’s what’s really interesting. I’ve never felt a massive desire to talk about stuff like that.”
I do feel for him. His love life has always come under intense scrutiny. In 2012, aged 18, he and Taylor Swift became front-page news when they were papped on their second date, strolling around Central Park. They broke up soon afterwards, but fascination with their relationship was compounded when Swift reportedly wrote at least two songs about him on her next album (Out of the Woods and Style).
Does the glaring spotlight on his love life make it hard for relationships to develop naturally?
“Relationships are hard anyway. You don’t always know what something is straight away — you can’t say, ‘Oh, in a week I’m going to know what this is.’ Often you end up being told what something is before you know what it is yourself. All of that stuff happened when I was quite young as well and it’s confusing when you haven’t been in a ton of relationships.”
Has he had to forego that side of his life or has he been able to have love affairs on the quiet?
“Not in the last while, because I’ve been doing [the album] and I did a lot of … I don’t know really. No, I feel like I just worked a lot in the band. There was so much going on.”
How many times has he been in love?
“I don’t know. I don’t know how you define it, so it’s tough [to answer], right?”
I think you know when it happens …
“Well, that’s what they say.” He laughs awkwardly and reaches for the pink phone. “Erm, do you want to hear another song?”
He has always been a charmer and ladies’ man. His older sister, Gemma (a freelance writer on technology and millennial trends), wrote an article for Another Man magazine recently in which she recalled a family holiday to Cyprus with seven-year-old Harry. “He was holding court around the pool with people three times his age. When he left on a shuttle bus back to the airport … there was a crowd of young, adult women gathered on the pavement waving him off through the window, shouting their goodbyes.”
He and Gemma were raised in Cheshire. Their father was a financial adviser, but now works in insurance. Styles was seven when his parents divorced. He remembers living in a pub for four years while his mother took a job as a landlady. He is thankful that his parents remained on amicable terms, even after his mother remarried.
“I’m lucky in that I never had to do that thing [of experiencing divided loyalties] when they split up. Feeling loved and supported by them never changed during that.”
He still speaks to his mother on the phone most days. “A lot of friends of mine say, ‘Your mum’s a really good mum.’ She’s never made me feel like I have to prove myself. A lot of people grow up not really talking about how they feel about each other, but our house was always filled with loving each other.”
From 14 he had a job at his local bakery, getting up at 5am each Saturday. He always thought he’d be a physiotherapist, “but then we had a workshop at school where we went in to talk about what we wanted to do and essentially someone told me there were no jobs in that, so I should pick something else. I was a little stumped, to be honest.”
He formed a group with some schoolmates called White Eskimo and they entered a local battle of the bands competition. “I remember how nervous I was before, but then afterwards, that feeling about everyone watching you do something that you were enjoying really resonated with me. That adrenaline rush I like.”
He has a busy year planned, with a three-month solo world tour starting in September. The movie Dunkirk is released in July. He hasn’t seen it yet, so doesn’t know how big his role as a British soldier will be. There is a rumour that he is also due to play Mick Jagger in a biopic, which he denies — though his chosen look for the solo album is very flouncy, 1970s, androgynous Jagger. “I’ve honestly never heard anything about the film. I don’t even think it’s a thing.”
If the ruched blouses are one clue that his boyband days are well behind him, another is his answer to the following question: how will he vote in the general election? “Honestly, I’m probably going to vote for whoever is against Brexit.”
Wow, a media-groomed star giving an opinion on something vaguely controversial. Why is he so anti-Brexit? “I’m not educated enough on the subject to really go toe-to-toe with someone about it, but disregarding the economic stuff and all of that, I think what it symbolises is the opposite of the world I would like to be in. I think the world should be more about being together and being better together and joining together, and I think it’s the opposite of that.”
Despite having 30m followers on Twitter and 20.3m on Instagram, he is surprisingly quiet on social media. “I heard someone once say, if Twitter was a house party and you knew that 30% of everyone there was amazing and everyone else in there was really horrible to each other, you just wouldn’t go,” he explains.
He is a lot more serious and sensible than all the videos of him goofing around in his One Direction days had led me to believe. After three hours in his company, I can’t detect any vices — he tells me he barely even drinks. “The last two years of touring, I found the routine nicer to get up and go for a run or something. I don’t like drinking when I’m working at all, even the days before. I usually have a drink when I’m out with friends, but then usually go for a month without drinking.”
It’s finally time for him to go. What did last night’s email say he has to do next, I wonder. “I’m going for a haircut,” he smiles. What a good boy.
