The K-Dramas I've watched
Playful Kiss
Possibly the first kdramas i've ever watched, it was either this one or The Miracle. I enjoyed it at first but i found it was an adaptation of Itazura na Kiss and went to watch the other adaptations and hated the story as a whole. Also when I found the Thai version it was game over cus that version is so much better than the source material.
Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo
It was cute!! And very funny, I don't have much to say about it tho.
Goblin
Ignoring the fact he is idk how many years old and she was 18-19 when they properly meet... it's kinda cute. And heartbreaking. The Goblin and Reaper duo is also just iconically hilarious.
Doom At Your Service
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE EVER!! The writing is so good and the story is so beautiful and I mean, Park Bo-Young is one of my favorite actresses for a reason. I just cannot properly put into words how much i adore this show, honestly.
While You Were Sleeping
How I meet both Suzy and Lee Jong-Suk and i loved them and their characters both so much. The story was very engaging too.
Strong Woman Bong-Soon
Park Bo-Young and Park Hyung-sik <3 Do Bong-Soon and Ahn Min-Hyuk <3 They were too good in this man, I'd love to see them in another drama together. One thing that felt uncessary to me was the gangsters and their whole screentime, it just wasnt entertaining or important to the story afjsahfkdagj
True Beauty
Very funny, very entertaining. Also how I feel in love with Cha Eun-woo. Also yes I loved Seo-jun but it made a lot more sense for Joo-kyung to be with Su-ho, me thinks.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo
Entertaining but the depiction of mental disabilities is really just... atrocious. It's a little hard to rewatch tbh.
Business Proposal
Kim Se-jeong is a treasure. And this show was very funny and cute.
Alchemy Of Souls
Amazing, showstopping, spectacular, no wonder it was so popular.
My Only Love Song
Also one of the first ones i've watched, hilarious too. But i dont remember thinking much about the romance tbh. At least it's on the shorter end so if you dont feel like committing to 16+ 1-hour long episodes, this is a good one
W: Two Worlds
I. LOVE. THE. CONCEPT. OF. COMIC CHARACTERS. BEING SELF AWARE!!!! It's so interesting and I think W explored it so well, I'd love more kdramas like it.
The Miracle
I remember very little about this one lol but i do remember the over fatphobia, like yes its what the show criticizes but i remember feeling so uncomfortable watching it. it's been like 7 years tho so i cant properly talk about it
Extraordinary You
comic book characters being self aware <3 also think this was did a fantastic job with that concept. it also made me cry so badly, my heart still aches for Haru and Dan-Oh
Pinocchio
This is the one last one I finished, and I binged it. Was not expecting to be so enthralled by a drama that's essencially about news reporting but I was.
Why Her
Reccommend to me by a close friend who adores pain... I was also not expecting to be so engaged with this one but I was and it was so painful, omg but so so good!

God it pisses me off that people think that jojo dads are shitty.
George 1st is dumb but not a horrible dad. Just privileged.
George 2nd died before he could even raise his son. So y'all can fuck off on that.
Sadao is A FUCKING JAZZ MUSICIAN! HE WAS ON TOUR. AND HE SO FAR TO MY KNOWLEDGE WASN'T A STAND USER,IT WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE FOR HIM TO BE IN THE WAY OF HARM. plus Joseph didnt wanna worry him nor holly. Beside he was just providing for his family. Its not like he can stop on a dime easy and help out either. It pisses me off that people automatically think shitty dad. Look imma be blunt. I understand about shitty dads (i had one, but i also have an amazing stepdad) but i dont automatically think they abandoned them or anything. That makes me question y'all more than anything. Write healthy and happy fucking family dynamics you twatwaffles! Besides. Im sick and tired of people making holly look bad too. Like good god. I could go on how much it pisses me off but I'll move on
Joseph: oh boy oh boy y'all love to trash him unless he's goo goo eyes over his dead best friend dont y'all (and this is coming from someone who likes and ships caejose. Tho i dont like sidelining suzie q so i make them poly because fuck you thats why) he didnt know bout josuke. If he did you best your bitch ass he would help him in a heartbeat! I saw as a stupid drunk night both tomoko and Joseph regretted. But they never regretted loving each other nor josuke. Just how it happened is all. Joseph loves his family dearly. More than anyone would know. He is very self sacrificing but he also knows when to cut his losses. He has lost so much and been through hell. So cut the old man some slack. Cant see y'all fairing any better then him if you was in his shoes.
Jotaro: fuck you, jotaro loves jolyne and his wife. Nuff said. I hate how this was played out more than the other crap. Above all if i could change one thing it would be that. Like no matter what canon or self insert. Jotaro is that type to not go into a relationship only to get out of one once shit gets hard. Good fucking grief. We did this family drama trope unfortunately with josuke. Why the fuck would we go through this shit again?! Plus if you're married to JOTARO FUCKIN KUJO of all people. You should know the deal. Plus jotaro marrying someone who isn't a stand user tbh doesn't seem something he's comfy with knowing the potential risks. Having a stand user spouce would make things not only easier but also give him peace of mind knowing they can see star and he can also convey how he feels better or at least a bit easier. Like there is so much i can go on and on how fucking irritating that part is. But alas it would take forever. But a last note. Jolyne doesn't deserve that crap either. Canon also gives her the short end too. And that pisses me off more than anything. She is baby to me so yall can fuck right off.
Again i can go on and on. But it irritates the piss outta me that people have such a damn problem with good fathers and mothers. Or healthy family in general. Or even adopted family (ala dio or shizuka or even giornos case. That is for a separate discussion tho)
#jojos bizarre adventure#personal post do not interact#personal vent#im done with people and their shitty hot takes

Well you know what they say, if you want to get things out there you... have to get things out there
So Fantasy AU with Game Grumps
Tbh i dont know how this started... It might have been something along the lines of Dan would make a great bard, and Suzy is totally a druid... and everything went downhill from there, but also, who knows how my brain works there is like 4 trains of thought at the same time and they're all roughly have the same thoughts if that makes sense? So I'm thinking of something in 4 different ways and its hard to pinpoint from wich train the idea came from... yall still with me? Cause I tend to ramble when I'm panicking (and also dont know what I'm doing)
The idea is basic dnd party doing missions all over the fantasy land and nearly dying/accidentally destroying cults in the process of getting to the big plot (WICH I DONT HAVE LMAO, remember that comic about the "oh man, two cakes" guy? This is me presenting the ingredients of the cake and calling it a day, I am so sorry, my brain is way over the place to get you something better)
So far I have three paragraphs and is like 80% rambling, I feel like a deer in the headlights. Anyways so the characters;
Arin: half orc barbarian, dont know how to describe my decision other than.... big arms. And also, not to be thirsty on main he would look so good with tusks (sidenote: I love half orcs, never played dnd but honestly i would probably only ever play half orcs). Basic adventurer, left the place he grew up with when he was of age to find himself and get stronger, also since he kinda didnt like himself he tried to get rid of his tusks and long hair, but eventually left them to grow. Always travels with a companion and that doesnt always end well. Sweet, kind and funny, he makes friends wherever he goes, but also lots of enemies (like a lot of people want him death, even demons, and Arin still doesnt understand why cause hes not the worst person ever come on) its hinted through foreshadowing (i talk like this is a fucking show) that he is a vessel for an old moon/sun god, or is the moon/sun god reincarnated and he hasnt remembered yet. And by implied I mean, I've been playing with the idea, but I dont know if I'll follow through (at least its a plot)
Dan: elf bard, of roughly 250+ years, hes got the most experience in the bunch as an adventurer but also feels out of time because he slept through 50 years straight cause he was sick, when he woke up he found out lots of people he knew had died and that kinda fucked him up. Diplomatic in a tipical bard fashion (he will fuck his way out of the mess) but an experienced swordman as well (with both a longsword and a rapier). When he first woke up he got the first job that he could manage (mercenary) where he met Brian, he later left the job because it didnt feel right with him, and started travelling on his own, he met Arin and started travelling with him cause friendship and also barbarian here to make sure you dont die in battle you squishy elf
Suzy: elf druid, keeper of a forest near where Arin lived a season, befriended him when he was younger, never left the forest cause it was her duty to protect it, but it got invaded by a group of mercenaries and it got impossible for her to drive them off (like come on, she is strong, but its really hard to drive off like 50+ people) she tried to ask for help in the nearby towns but nobody came to her aid for being the witch of the forest, until eventually Arin and Dan accepted to help her, she later joined them in adventures. Her body is covered in tattoos, and is trying to convince Arin and Dan to get one as well (pls). Her favorite forms to take are bear, snake and spider (to scare Dan)
Ross: tiefling warlock. The first person to travel with Arin when he was younger, they met when Ross initially tried to kill Arin but failed, they became fast friends and also ride or die for each other, and Ross would never tell him that his patron ordered to kill him and his initial intent was to do it, but ended up liking Arin too much to get trough with it. Loves to antagonize Dan for the sake of it and sometimes gets jealous of him (I was his friend first) wraps his tail around Arin when he gets scared/is sleepy and Arin thinks its adorable
Brian: human rogue. Part of a mercenary crew that is absolutely despicable, met Dan when he first woke up and accepted him as the only partner (he killed all the others) since Dan fell asleep below a tree near the town Brian grew up with, and troughout his life he always saw Dan sleeping under a tree and now hes awake asking for a job here? You stick with me, I promise not to stab you (too much). Since he has a wife and daughter he want to leave the life of mercenary, so Arin agrees to help him kill his own boss (A+ on the handling things boys)
And then there is Barry, who I want to be a recurring character but I never really got into GG until he wasnt there so I dont know a lot about him, and theres a bunch of other characters that are definetly a part but also there is only so much I can write here and theyre kinda more like background
I write like those old fanfic writers who are always interrupting their own work but instead of pluging in something like 'lmao im crazy' im having a panic attack
Also I feel like I need to say this, this is technically polygrumps? But like most romance in any tv show, it add nothing to the plot, I just like shipping

How to tell if you are a tattletale
Hola peeps,
Here’s a novice 👶 entering the Tumblr world, with not a single clue about what the fudge is blogging. This is Suzy McSolaris, obviously a pen name, a regular brown girl with this strong push to write something, not because I am good at writing (actually it’s the opposite), but because I miss communicating (tbh chatting!) with people for longer duration.
I LOVEEEE communicating
Yes I do! But this virtual connection that we all have going on in this COVID mess is kinda meh… I guess it’s not just me, ‘coz I for one is a nonstop tittle-tattler, but I guess some of y’all out there are feeling it too. Back in the good old days of 2019, we had real conversations with people, not to the minute squares of faces on a computer screen.
The power of an in-person conversation is that it keeps you distracted; like you never (mostly perhaps) get to the end of what you had in mind—I could be talking to you about something, thinking about some other thing that pops in the conversation we were having, but either one of us end up seeing something which brings an end to the one that popped in, or could smell something (pleasant if we’re lucky) which vanishes the previous convo.
But this all alone time had me thinking, some serious thinking (believe me people I didn’t know either that I was capable of having some coherent undistracted brain time). Yeah I cannot talk to ma people as I used to, but let me not be a wussie about that and human up—I’m kinda conflicted with the whole feminism thingy going on that I don’t wanna sound lame so just coined this “Human Up”; pretty cool right! (a simple man-up would have sufficed, but you don’t wanna risk getting in the way of feminists buddy!)—and get something done.
That’s a lotta banter, I get that. But hey, bear with me I’m literally a baby here. Anyway, I got this thought going on for a while, viz, I have this intense urge to write, not another Da Vinci Code, but just something out of ma heart—just a spring cleaning for ma heart’s content. Many might say, “Suck it up a maintain a journal, bub.” I do that too but that’s like me talking to me, which I do often and end up getting more and more confident that ma brain was manufactured using a blueprint from “Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc.” All I need at this crazy moment is someone I can banter frequently and transfer my madness to. That’s how I got in here! Tada!!!
So, whoever reads this, if you’re an old soul, patient enough to read till this sentence, I believe my friend you are my Fudge!
I know this isn’t the regular professional blog nor a funny one for that matter. It’s just a girl’s stupid random words searching for an outlet to flow, so that she doesn’t die of the pressure building up. To those of y’all who put up with this word vomit, I hope and wish your crush likes you back! So to sum it all up…
“Hey, I’m starting a blog; you better give a try reading it (or not)!”
About that title, if you are someone who starts something and ends up telling something totally different, or alien for that matter, for which I’ve given you a live example—this blog and its title—I bet my sweet life, you are a tattletale. Voila! And that’s “😁Identifying a Jabberer 101” (and a stupid happy birthday post to my blog) 🎉🎊
Until another blog as crazy as a soup sandwich,
Suzy💓

Appearing before The Dramacourt: While You Were Sleeping Eps 13, 14, 15 and 16
***If this is your first time browsing The Drama Files, please read The Rules section first for our reviewing and rating system***
***Disclaimer***: This analysis based on Canadian law. This is also NOT LEGAL ADVICE for anyone and this drama is FICTIONAL.
Issues:
Whether the law gives you the right to hire a lawyer of your choice.
Whether getting home and seeing a cute doggy ransack your house is a pleasant surprise.
Whether comparing a prosecutor’s robes to a choir was perfect.
Whether Suzy jumping to conclusions about Hak Young being the murderer is her being a good reporter.
Whether a witness can behave like a defense lawyer during an initial investigation (or ever).
Whether you can prosecute just anyone even if there isn’t enough evidence to charge the person because you have no other suspects.
The Rule(s):
Yes. But the lawyer gets to decide whether to accept your case or not.
Not really. But if it’s a super cute doggy it’s much easier to forgive!
Yes. Absolutely hilarious.
Hell No.
No. That’s not the point of being summoned as a witness.
HELL NO! What is wrong with this drama?!?
Analysis:
RedRosette: First off, 95% of episodes 13 and 14 were filler. There was no need to talk about regret and feeling guilty for an entire episode. The other 4% was strategically placed PPLs: Subway, some fancy water brand, and some Japanese department store brand. OMG it was so pointless. Did we really need to spend like 20 minutes of Lee Jong Suk and Suzy shopping for random things? What was the point of that to the drama? (See Jung So Min’s struggles with PPL as a drama writer in Because It’s My First Time. It seems so relevant here) Why is the writing going down the drain? The only really relevant 1% was in episode 14 where we find out that Woo Tak might have a secret too and isn’t all happiness and bubbles with him like we were led to believe.
Saving the day like…
He didn’t die thank God!
Was this really necessary?
They probably paid Production a shit ton of money because this had absolutely nothing to do with this drama.
Episodes 15 and 16 had some development. There were some legal problems that I wanted to raise (see Issues below), but mostly it confirmed the fact that I now hate Hong Joo’s character. She is unrealistic and is the worst “strong female” character. She throws tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants, behaves like a child, and jumps to irrational conclusions. These are not qualities that you want people to emulate. You’d think that learning a grave life lesson as a child would mean that she wouldn’t make the same mistake in adulthood, but nope. Either that, or the writers really couldn’t come up with a better way to write in the connection to the “drowning” in childhood. People come on! This is not good character development. I can’t deal with her character. Jae Chan on the other hand, remained steadfast in his beliefs and remains a solidly written character when it comes to his job and general ethics and morality. Of course, all this goes out the window when he’s presented with the Hong Joo situation and suddenly he’s irrationally wanting to get into relationships without any explanation. Tbh, I seriously don’t get the attraction to Hong Joo. She’s a super annoying, bratty and a pretty terrible character all around. I don’t understand why all these guys are falling for her left, right and center. She’s the worst Candy-type to hit the screens in a while. Woo Tak got some development too. We didn’t see his big secret being revealed in these episodes so maybe something will come of it next week. But, I did have some problems with Woo Tak’s role in episode 16 (see Issue 5).
You guys needed a better plan and then maybe Woo Tak wouldn’t have gotten stabbed.
Being a hero like…
Entering into questionable deals like…
Ugh!
Spying on your neighbors with the lights turned off like…
Bring in that brotherly love!
We did also get more information about the childhood connection and now I’m pretty sure its the policeman they rescued who keeps sending Jae Chan money. These episodes were very difficult to watch in the sense that the plots were very slow and there was far too many slow-mo zooming in and out of the characters’ faces from different angles. Why? Seriously? Why? it’s not artsy, its just annoying if you don’t have a lot of time to watch a drama and you’re spending your lunch break watching it and all it is is zooming in and out of their faces OMG please just give us some plot development!!!
I’m calling it. It’s him.
What kind of 13 year has a license to ride a motorbike?
RedRosette J Aside: And yes we got too see more of Jang Hae In all smiles and in all of his shirtless glory thanksverymuch.
Issue 1: Whether the law gives you the right to hire a lawyer of your choice.
RedRosette J: Yes it does. When you are arrested or detained you have the right to counsel and you have a right to remain silent until you receive access to your counsel. The problem is that you can select a lawyer of your choice (or you get assigned a public defender if you can’t afford a lawyer) but the lawyer gets to decide whether to take your case on or not. If the lawyer feels that he or she doesn’t want to represent you, they can refuse to take your case. So while you do have a right to a lawyer, you do not have a right to a specific lawyer, which is really what the Chicken Killer was misunderstanding and why he kept screaming for Lee Yoo Beom. Buddy, that’s not how it works. Have a seat.
You have a right to counsel
But he gets to refuse your case
Asking for sentencing like…
When your co-worker does a good job
Issue 2: Whether getting home and seeing a cute doggy ransack your house is a pleasant surprise.
RedRosette J: It’s probably not going to be super pleasant, but that doggy was super super cute and adorable and it’s hard to look at a face like that and be angry about it. You’d literally just want to pick it up and cuddle it instead!
It’s a mess but he’s sooo cute! ❤ Robin!
Please give us a drama with Shin Jae Ha and Robin the Corgi kthanksbye.
Issue 3: Whether comparing a prosecutor’s robes to a choir was perfect.
RedRosette J: This was pretty funny. I actually LOL’d because I’d never thought about it like that. The whole imagination sequence was pretty funny too. I wish a real courtroom would suddenly burst into song like a musical. It might make things way more interesting sometimes!
Issue 4: Whether Suzy jumping to conclusions about Hak Young being the murderer is her being a good reporter.
RedRosette J: This is the furthest thing from being a good reporter. You can’t be drawing conclusions and reporting stuff on ongoing cases based on what you saw on TV. Hong Joo immediately jumped to the conclusion that Hak Young did it based on the CCTV footage and the fact that he threatened Woo Tak or whatever and refused to change her opinion. What the hell? Whatever happened to unbiased journalism? How can you be a reporter if you have already picked a side and you are creating a biased narrative? I just don’t get it. Then she goes and tells Jae Chan to make sure that he prosecutes the guy or “she’ll be disappointed in him.” What the hell? Let the man do his job and you go at least pretend to be a half decent reporter. I hated how she manipulated Jae Chan’s reliance on her belief in him to make sure he does what she wants. Ugh. Even after her whole flashback and being reminded of the fact that she was told (by Jae Chan) that you can’t do bad stuff to people simply because you dislike them, she gets upset when Jae Chan tries to explain to her why Hak Young was released. Are you kidding me? This is basic society 101. I think she’s a closeted psychopath. And yea she didn’t manipulate the media like Yoo Beom asked her to but she was still convinced that he was guilty. She doesn’t get to make that decision. That’s a decision to be made in a court of law. *takes deep breaths* Ugh. I can’t. I’m done with Hong Joo.
Being told not to be an idiot when you’re 13…
…but continues to be one in adulthood….
Issue 5: Whether a witness can behave like a defense lawyer during an initial investigation (or ever).
RedRosette J: OMG where do I start? Okay first of all, I really like Woo Tak, but honey you can’t be going in to a discovery (initial investigation) as a WITNESS and then start behaving like a DEFENSE LAWYER. That’s not how it works. In discovery, the prosecutor asks the witness questions based on what they saw and heard on the day or event in question and they are expected to answer truthfully. The witness doesn’t go and try to a) teach the prosecutor the law and b) act like they are defending the Accused. Again, that’s not how the system works. Also, what was with the line of questioning? It as totally off. Those are not questions you ask a witness. *sigh* Please. Writers. Get a better legal consultant. This is not how it works. Even if it’s for dramatic effect, it looks stupid.
Yes. We get it. Your friend needs help.
Showing up to provide testimony and getting fangirled like…
Witness is NOT Defense Counsel.
Issue 6: Whether you can prosecute just anyone even if there isn’t enough evidence to charge the person because you have no other suspects.
RedRosette J: OH MY GOD. What is wrong with the prosecutors in this drama? Just because there’s a dead body doesn’t mean that someone HAS to go down for doing it. In this case, the evidence was circumstantial. The guy happened to be there and was caught on CCTV around the time of death but there was no DNA or blood evidence linking him to the murder. Given all of this and the other evidence that they were talking about which CLEARLY did nothing to tie Hak Young to the murder, the prosecutors were still trying to make him go down for it because they had no other suspects. WTF? If there’s not enough evidence to convict someone, they walk. The evidence has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Hak Young killed her. That’s how the system works. There was so much doubt and speculation in this case! You don’t get to just keep someone in custody or even prosecute them just because you have no other suspects. I don’t get why the Chief Prosecutor was so hesitant to release the guy. Do your job. Honestly this drama has some TERRIBLE legal stuff….
There has to be evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that Hak Young did all this.
That’s not creepy at all….
When you’re innocent but no one believes you…
There isn’t enough evidence peeps. You HAVE to drop the charges!
RedRosette J Aside: I also forgot that there was a kiss scene finally and it was hella awkward. Not getting on this Ship you guys. Sorry.
Conclusion: Appeal Dismissed.
Rating: 2 = Yell At The Production And Writing Team (Producers: please stop with the close ups and multiple angles. We get that you guys are the camera gods. Writers: get better legal consultants)
