OC Story: Not Again

(Haha near-death experience go brrrrr)

(CW: Mentions of Blood and Death)

They’ve been embracing each other ever since they defeated all of those entities.

It’s all they could do with their remaining energy anyways after using it all on combatting all of those creatures.

Some of the feathers on Marcus’ wings were bent & torn, and Liam’s barely conscious with all of the mana & stamina he used. On top of all of that, they’re covered in bruises, and their outfits have rips and tears.

“We… actually did it. We defeated all of those entities.” Marcus could hear the sadness in Liam’s voice as he said that.

Their deaths to a swarm of entities all those decades ago weighed heavy on them once they both remembered it after reincarnating.

Marcus pulled away from their embrace to hold Liam’s face with his hands, and press their foreheads together, “Yeah, guess we really did lightning bolt.”

Liam chuckled over hearing his boyfriend’s nickname for him, and quickly pulled him into a long kiss.

The kissed they shared felt rejuvenating. Liam could feel energy returning to him the longer they stayed in that tender and loving kiss.

“Holy shit- WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?!”

Macy loudly interrupted their romantic moment over the sight of both of them being heavily wounded, with Marcus and Liam quickly pulling away from their kiss over hearing her. Iris was right beside her tightly gripping her nature staff,

“You guys need some healing?”

The four of them stayed in that area in the caverns for a while to tend to Marcus & Liam’s injuries. As Iris healed them, Macy began to talk.

“…So… Lance & Aaron mentioned… something about you in the group chat while you guys were fighting some entities.”

Marcus sighed, “Honestly, we had a feeling everyone in the group would eventually find out.” He chuckled before continuing to speak, “Didn’t really think you’d learn it because of Lance & Aaron accidentally blurting it out.”

Iris finished tending to both of their wounds as they also began talking, “Well, we both understand why you would keep this as a secret from everyone. Dying to an entity doesn’t sound like something you’d like to casually say when talking to someone-“

“Honestly, I’ve seen ‘n heard weirder shit before as someone that watches a lot of anime-“

“MACY!”

“I’m just trying to lighten the mood! Also it’s kinda true.”

Liam chuckled, “Thanks guys. How are the others doing right now?”

Iris paused before answering Liam’s answer, “ Lance, Aaron, Mercy, Geno, and Jadeyn are all trying to find C, and-“

*CRASH*

“Marcus! Liam! You guys ok?”

The four of them immediately turned their attention to Zac & Kumiho’s arrival. Both of whom blasted through a wall to get to the four of them.

Both of them quickly ran to see the others, with Zac talking the way there, “Ok both of us get that what happened to you in your past life is something you’d probably keep from us, but YOU GUYS COULD’VE LITERALLY DIED FIGHTING THOSE ENTITIES…. AGAIN. You could’ve contacted us for help with defeating them.”

“Well in our defence, they didn’t really give us an opening to message you guys. And you guys look like shit too.”

Kumiho sighed, “Yeah an entity knocked me out for a bit, and Zac transformed into a dragon hybrid and kicked its ass for me. They looked really pretty in that form if I’m being honest…” They blushed as they recalled what happened.

Macy muttered as Kumiho was talking, “Dude we get it, you’re a monster-“

Iris quickly interrupted Macy, “Anyways, we should contact the others, they’re probably worried about us.”

Yay we got Frisk =)

Anyways, as said in Chara's post, they're Chara's grandchild, and no, Chara did not procreate. They made a baby with asexual reproduction because they could. Don't ask me why.

The reason Frisk is so short is because they're only six or seven in this (they're very smart for a six/seven year old. Source: trust me bro)

Their mother was left Chara's locket from the Underground but Frisk's mother died for...reasons...so Frisk got it. Now for the tattoo thingy on the wrist... (this is a long explanation and has a lot of lore stuff jsyk)

Basically, while Underground Chara heard of the Delta Rune prophecy and thought it must be for them. They'd make the Underground go empty one day...but not for reasons expected. They believed the humans had a reason for trapping monsters Underground so they decided they were gonna fulfill the prophecy...by killing the whole Underground. They had to flee and so they wanted their child to take after it but since Frisk's mother (idk what to call them, Frara? Chisk? Idk, but they look like the cursed thing that you get when merging Chara and Frisk's sprites from the original game) died, it's now Frisk's mission and to remind them, Chara basically just branded them with the Delta Rune. Yes, branding, Chara is just a wee bit evil in this AU (I'm a firm Chara supporter in the original game but this AU has the fanon Chara lol) to say the least.

This Frisk is enby and goes by they/them, similar to the original game.

The next one will be the first OC since Sans, Papyrus, and the rest of them reside in different parts of the Underground or, in Toriel's case, are dead. Undyne and Alphys will still exist though and have a minor role on the lore and stuff, mainly as support for lore but probably never seen but might make their redesign.

Fun fact: they're an elf too. For those who didn't see Chara's post, elves are what happens when a human and monster has a child (or an elf and a monster or elf have a child. Or if a child just pops into existence from an elf like what happened with Frisk and their mother) and have some DT and limited magic. They have lighter versions of human souls unless they're really lucky and end up with a rare soul condition where they produce much more DT than they should (which Undyne has in my AU). Since elves aren't made of magic like monsters, they only get stronger magic and more durability/HP (this Frisk has 30 HP on LOVE 1 BUT more monsters are combat trained so they're stronger to even it out)

Frisk gains more spells when increasing the LOVE or love stat (which are different and deserve their own post, but LOVE is still Levels of Violence but love is levels of empathy [LOVE skips the E so love skips the v] and love is gained from sparing but LOVE is gained the noemal way) and start with a healing one (heals 5 HP) that has complex needs that also needs its own post but yeah. Chara's main magic is summoning very powerful knives (aka the Real Knife from the geno route but magicified)

Anyways, just as a heads up, the next character is a human BUT they are the last one, unless I make designs of the previous humans.

As a psychiatry student, I'm seriously considering making my thesis about Chris Chan. Do you think it's a good idea? I mean, all the information is already in Geno's documentary and in the CWCiki, right? It also is an incredibly interesting subject about autism and how your environment can heavily affect your mental health.

I think that actual academic research on Chris's case would be a) fascinating and b) very beneficial in terms of how the internet can shape our lives and the effect that it can have on people. like, this is a first-of-its-kind case, and I have never seen anybody's life as well documented, live, as Chris's has been. it's terrifying, and I would love to see research not only into Chris, but into the people who have dedicated a good portion of their lives to recording every single detail, no matter how mundane. I mean, people went to her house, kept tabs on how it looked, went through the Chandlers' garbage, went to McDonald's at certain times to see if they spotted her, attended real life court hearings... this is not ordinary trolling. this is an absolute obsession, and to be honest I find the trolls more deranged than Chris at this point.

from what I've seen so far (around 40-some videos in), things would have never got this far without the fact that Chris is autistic. the fact is that her autism made it very, very difficult for Chris to work out fact from fiction, and this was the foundation of the trolls' success. time and time again, they convinced Chris of identical stories, with countless fake girlfriends, and Chris was absolutely incapable of realising that history was repeating itself. I believe later on a bunch of trolls actually manage to convince her that CWCville is real, or something? this is another case of Chris not being able to fully separate fact from fiction, which is hinted at very early on with her apparent inability to see Sonichu and her other OCs as fictional characters. it's an incredibly depressing example of what can happen when somebody with severe autism is left to their own devices, without a support network to speak of, and given unlimited access to the internet -- and the fact that this all started because Chris had a few interests seen as "childish", and a few OCs seen as "cringe", and it all blew up to this? Chris definitely has some negative personality traits that are separate from her autism and that don't make her very sympathetic, but the root of all this has always been that an autistic person had a special interest that was seen as "cringe", and the internet decided to torment her for over a decade over it.

I think the biggest problem you'd have is that there is so much information. you would easily get swamped. the documentary is brilliant at going through it and finding all the major "plotlines" and keeping everything in order -- but it's 59 parts long so far (and still incomplete) and each episode ranges from 37-50 minutes. this in turn is only a succinct summary of everything on the CWCiki, which has countless pages of information on events and different people who were involved, as well as Chris's fictional world (very important if you want to understand where she's coming from) and all the memes and miscellaneous stuff that comes out of a community that's been around for over a decade. there's also Kiwi Farms, which I was surprised to learn was actually created for Chris Chan discussion in the first place -- like, this is why that forum is there.

so yeah, I think it's a good idea, and I think there's more than enough information there to write a book on, let alone a thesis. but I think your biggest challenge would be keeping everything straight. I think you might be better off to choose a specific time period or incident and focus on that, using it as an example case study to further illustrate your theories, because if you tried to do all of it I think you'd get swamped fast.

[ he is in two fandoms, in fact. he is both a fan-favorite from super mario rpg, the very first in the line of mario rpgs we’ve gotten over the years, and a pretty popular smash bros. request. he even got a mii costume in 4 and a spirit in ultimate as a result of the love. he’s very beloved, to the point that i’d, even as a geno fan myself, deem him a bit overrated. why? b/c where is all the love for all the other smrpg characters!!! they are all good. i love them all. ]

Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ i mean ?? i’ve met and seen many people who have/had crushes on geno so ??????? but i don’t think it’s like. that. ghfskjhgsg??? ]

Is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ oh yes, he is undeniably very strong, both in personality and in battle. he is often seen as the level-headed straight man of the party in smrpg (which, in the case of my geno, is... semi-applicable LMAO), a star spirit with unwavering bravery and confidence. his in-battle stats are also pretty crazy, favoring geno as a glass cannon and enemy sweeper. he is also the only character in the game to have a move that will insta-kill any enemy besides bosses. well, and exor. idk why exor, but there ya go. needless to say, pretty much everyone in the fandom agrees that geno is a powerful mfer. why wouldn’t a literal, living star be? ]

Are they underrated? YES / NO / IDK. [ as i mentioned before, there is no shortage of him being underrated in the fanbase. i’d even say he’s a little overrated. some people treat smrpg as ‘that game with geno in it’ rather than everything else it has going for it. i love star boye as much as the next gal, but pls appreciate smrpg as a whole. it’s such a vibrant game with a colorful world of characters to love. ]

Were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO. [ he is actually, completely central to the plot. the subtitle of smrpg is legend of the seven stars, which directly relates to geno’s core mission: to find the seven star pieces and restore star road. the rest of the gang had different ambitions, but they all ended up banding together over geno’s objective. one could argue he mostly is the exposition-granter and could be replaced with anyone else, but i feel he’s irreplaceable. smrpg would be so different without him, like it or not. ]

Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ i wouldn’t say he is the protagonist, obviously, as that is very much mario’s spot. that being said, he is a pretty obvious deuteragonist for smrpg, given how much the plot revolves around him. he’s relevant to mario, for sure, as well as peach, mallow, and bowser. he’s relevant to many characters beyond them. he represents the fight for everyone’s wishes to be able to come true. he’s, uh... very relevant rofl. ]

Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. [ the star spirits are somewhat known in the mario universe as entities capable of granting wishes, kinda like fabled gods with a tinge more evidence and reality to them. geno himself isn’t a known name, not like the seven star spirits of star haven, but his people are decently known. he, however, is not. ]

How’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. [ he is basically the epitome of ‘good’ until you overthink star society like i do lol. not all wishes can be granted, what constitutes as a ‘good wish’ is subjective, why some good wishes still can’t be granted anyway, etc. it puts him more towards neutral good with a dash of lawful and an undercurrent of chaotic, given his rebellion against his superiors. ]

How strictly do you follow canon? — i mean, it isn’t hard to be strict to mario canon when there isn’t that much of a foundation to work with anyway lol. it’s all rather simplistic until you get into the nitty gritty of it ??? that said, geno is built on a lot of headcanon. like, a lot a lot. star society and its rules for star spirits of his kind, his relationship with rosalina (a matronly figure), his relationship with the seven star spirits, the fleshing-out of his basic personality traits shown in smrpg, etc.? headcanon upon headcanon.

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — a star possessing the form of a children’s toy, like toy story but with more cosmic pew-pew. a chill and sassy guy still learning the ways of how earth (and other planets) work on a more intimate level, meaning there will be lots of adorkable moments as this curious one makes discoveries. sometimes attempts to innovate with what he learns to be ‘ahead of the curve’, leading to interesting results. (he likes to sip bubble tea, but replace the tapioca pearls with star bits. good result. mopping a counter-top because it would be ‘more efficient’? not-so-good result, got him lots of stares.) straight outta the 90′s, so be ready some of that rad 90′s slang and know-how from back in the day. (what do u mean they’re bringing back dunkaroos? that’d mean they stOPPED MAKING THEM?!?) very intrigued with new technology, became stuck to his smartphone upon discovering them, fell into the time-sink that is animal videos on youtube. he’s humble and likes to relax, have a good time, and relax w/ the squad. video games, netflix binges, the whole nine yards, he’s gotchu. he is a hell of a fighter and loves to fight, as well. help him push his abilities, and he’ll help you with yours. likes being a little shit for fun, only to an extent (harmless moments of impishness, not serious, hurtful pranks). has a sense of humor that is easy to tickle, even with stupid dad jokes and classic puns. the brother-friend that will fire lasers at ur enemies for u. likes to play violin. cute. super cutie. v. tiny in his star form. almost five whole feet of sparkly, twinkly fun. likes super soakers.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — despite intrigue to learn more about the world around him, there is only so much that he does know. societal norms are often beyond him, and there are just so, so many earth hobbies he is not aware of. without handing him a bone, it makes him a little more limited than someone who’s more savvy. he is prime slice-of-life material, but that may also make things rather dull in an rp without an extra twist to spice things up. (thankfully, his being a total SNOT sometimes helps with that.) in canon and strictly in canon, geno doesn’t really have much personality, something that this geno has plenty more fleshed out. a good chunk of fandom finds him to be incredibly boring and droll, to which i personally disagree, as there are little things in smrpg that hint towards him having more to explore.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — funnily enough, seeing smash bros. fandom railing on geno fans + hyping him up all at the same time made me revisit smrpg after having only played it as a teenager. i expected geno to be a boring slate of nothing like fandom often portrays him, but i found that i was terribly wrong. with a newfound perspective on him, noting little details that defied my expectations for this li’l guy, i decided to give him a geno whirl and see what kind of expansion i could do with his character. the amount of lore i came up with him and started wondering about piled on and on and on, and i realized that he had so much more potential than what nintendo and square properly tapped into. (some of it is also a matter of being timely, though, meaning later mario materials such as rosalina, star haven, etc.) i wanted to flex out that potential and see how much i could fill this little doll up with, and lo and behold, i rp him today with extensive amounts of development poured into him with love. to put it simply, there was so much untapped potential that i wanted to share with the world, to show geno the love and in-depth exploration that he deserved, to show that he was more than what he was given.

What keeps your inspiration going? — chattering about mario lore with pals, whether it relates to geno or not, reading, watching shows or videos that remind me of him, learning more about cosmology and the universe we live in (and boy, i’ve learned a lot of neat stuff!), revisiting my childhood (the 90′s) since it’s very geno-appropriate, drawing The Boye, literally anything to do with playing, watching, or doing ANYTHING with smrpg/paper mario 64/smg1&2, and probs a lot more. i’ve got a lot of fuel in me for this guy lol.

Do you think you give your character justice? YES / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? [ on one hand, of course i hope that i do! on the other hand, i mean... nintendo and square don’t do jack for him, so i think almost anyone can do him more justice than they have, lbr. it’s... not hard... :’) ]

Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ ok i gotta just copy-paste what blue said in her response because my god, she nailed it: “you know when you have a concept and in your own mind you can see it clearly, without fuzziness or confusion, but you can’t seem to put it clearly into words without it turning into an essay because you need to connect all the other points that’s in the single concept you envisioned? yea.” basically, this but in spades, because i have a huge amount of headcanon and lore that i’ve either not gotten around to writing about yet or am purposefully staving off (wink wink). i have written a lot for him, though! it’s just... comparatively so little to what all i’ve thought up over-time. ]

Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO [ not! often! enough!!! ]

Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO [ all i know is fine dining, breathing, and adorkable starman. ]

Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ funny enough, i’m pretty damn confident in my portrayal, albeit still very modest. i mean, i am at least confident that i give depth to a character that had so little, and i feel like geno is just... real. (not literally ofc i mean like, he FEELS realistic.) he’s got character perks, character flaws, strengths, weaknesses, personal issues, ongoing obstacles, relatable themes where appropriate, interests, knowledge (or lack thereof), daily routines... i could go on. if nothing else, i at least feel good about trying to make geno feel less like some exposition character and more like a person. considering he wants to achieve personhood that most of his kind never gets to find, it’s oddly poetic lmao. ]

Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO. [ eehhhhh. i mean, i guess it’s fiiiIIINE, but i often feel like i lack a certain pizzazz, something that’ll keep people interested and intrigued with what i write, giving enough material for them to adequately bounce back. on the same token, i like to babble with my prose, so i often worry about going on and on and on way too much. stale, quantity over quality, substance-less writing is what i fuss over the most. ;; ]

Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO. / SORTA. [ sensitive to empathy and other peoples’ emotions, yes. i’m an insanely empathetic person, and i have a lot of love to give. that said, with only few exceptions, i have a pretty iron-clad skin. sometimes, i daresay it’s to the point that i often misjudge what other people can take, and i feel i can end up being too harsh and forward. that being said, it is also a good thing at times. harsh or not, if i feel a certain way about something, i make that shit known and i make it known as loud as it necessarily should be. i don’t beat around the bush; rather, if i have a beef, i will make that beef known. consequently, if i have love to give, you damn well better be ready to swim in a pool of hearts and your favorite kind of cookie (if applicable). ]

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal? — as long as it isn’t complaints with lack of substance/reasoning, yes! even if i may not always agree and may take things with a grain of salt, i am insanely receptive to criticism, even over the pickiest things. it’s something i’ve grown used to due to prior rp venues being particularly harsh. i will never throw a fit or act like a child if there is something i could do better with geno. in fact, there always will be! i’m not perfect, and i love to hear about ways i can improve and do better. it’s paramount in a hobby like this.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character? — LET’S-A FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — sure, i’d love to know! it can make for some neat conversation!! c:

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — that’s a’ight. i’m sure there are things about my geno that won’t resonate with everyone, especially given he’s a very sentimental character for old fogies like me lol. as long as there is no disrespect thrown this way, it’s all good. this stuff is subjective, after all.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — oh, a lot of people really hate geno lol, but i’m guessing this means personal portrayal only. in such a case, i would be curious as to why, admittedly, but i acknowledge that i am not owed anyone’s reasoning. if they really, absolutely hate my geno, then it’s their prerogative, whether they want to give a reason why or not. again, it’s all good unless immaturity and disrespect rears its head. i won’t tolerate that and will ignore any such behavior.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — sure, it happens to the best of us!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — i’d like to think that i am! i’ve often had people tell me that i’m very nice and mature, but of course, i have no right to say how i come off to other people. that is not in my territory to judge, only theirs. that being said, it’s not easy to upset me or anger me, and i’m more often willing to listen and pal around than not. i’m the living embodiment of (shrug). i am just (shrug).

[CM] Try and Try Again | Genos x Ruiying (OC)

Writing commission for @xisanamii, featuring her character, Ruiying, and Genos from One’s “One Punch Man”. Thank you again for commissioning me!

It's a relatively calm afternoon, and Saitama is lounging in the living room, allowing himself to take a moment for his own peace and comfort when Genos walks up to him. The cyborg has a look upon his face that Saitama is all too familiar with. He's going to ask him for help with something, he realizes. Saitama prepares himself for another one of their usual interactions with him rejecting Genos' request to have him teach the cyborg his secrets to all matters related to strength and power. At this point, it's become much of a running gag for them, and it's almost an automatic and instinctual reaction for Saitama to reject him outright, but what comes out Genos' mouth surprises him.

"Ruiying and I have been friends for a while now, but I would like to take our relationship further. I would like your help," Genos requests as humbly as he can, but there's a strong amount of determination laced in his voice.

Saitama's eyes widen. He certainly wasn't expecting those kinds of words to come from the cyborg's mouth. Well, even if he was caught by surprise, Saitama remains rather relax and uninterested on the whole thing, leaning back against the couch while waving his hand in a vague dismissive manner.

"I can't really help with that," he says, and it's the truth. It's something that Genos needs to figure out for himself. This kind of thing should be left only to the appropriate parties involved with no outside interference.

Genos is unrelenting, however, insisting for Saitama's aid in this rather strange quest of his. The man can see that Genos is rather serious and desperate about this, and judging by his expression, Genos has been thinking about this for quite some time already. Saitama inwardly sighs. He knows far too well that his companion won't be letting up on this request of his any time soon.

"Alright," he concedes, casually standing up from his seat. "Let me get something real quick."

Saitama leaves the room, and Genos waits patiently for his return. He has to admit, he feels a sense of excitement. After all, if Saitama is going to personally help him out, then surely everything will be a success and nothing will go wrong! His mentor comes back with a cardboard box in hand and drops it onto the floor. He haphazardly gestures towards it, and when Genos checks its contents, he finds a bunch of shoujo manga packed inside.

"Read through these and draw inspiration from them," Saitama offers before going back to do his own thing.

Genos stares at the various piles of manga stacked inside the box, picking them up and flipping through them one by one. He's aware of how Ruiying has read her fair share of the popular art form, so he comes to the conclusion that if he were to follow the same "formula", so to speak, as these shoujo tropes, then perhaps Ruiying will get the hint about his feelings. Perhaps she'd even appreciate it! This is perfect, he thinks to himself.

Genos offers a deep bow of gratitude towards Saitama. "Thank you very much!" The cyborg offers his sincere and wholehearted words of thanks. He lifts the box with his arms and leaves to follow through with Saitama's advice.

Saitama watches Genos' retreating figure, his thoughts drifting away for a moment. He's a bit skeptical and curious as to how this whole ordeal will work out, but he eventually gives a casual shrug of his shoulders. He figures it'll probably be fine in the end.

Attempt 1: Bumping into your love interest and having your hands brush against one another as you help them pick up their dropped items

It seems like a very simple and straightforward scene to try out and recreate. Genos waits for a good opportunity, but it's safe to say that he's a bit skeptical on how well this plan of his would work out, if he could even execute it in the first place. There are a lot of uncontrollable factors, all of which involve Ruiying and her own schedule and if she's carrying anything on her at the time. He supposes that it will all just depend on his timing and luck.

Thankfully, Genos happens to catch sight of Ruiying one day returning home with a stack of books borrowed from the library. There's no doubt that it's to help her study for school, and Genos realizes that this is the opportunity he was waiting for. He wastes no time at all and goes straight into action, his determination set.

He waits for her to approach, and the cyborg walks into Ruiying's path. Since the woman is unable to see anything past her tall tower of books, she ends up crashing straight into him. The pile of books all come crashing down, but thankfully Ruiying is able to maintain her footing despite the impact.

She stares down at the scattered books on the ground, her eyes narrowing. She's peeved, Genos realizes, and he's about to go and sincerely apologize for upsetting her (and not just for bumping into her), but Ruiying snaps her head towards him before he can do so. The moment her eyes lock with his, she pauses and holds her tongue from whatever lashing she was about to unleash. Her expression begins to shift from irritation to one of confusion instead.

"Sorry for bumping into you," Genos says, bowing his head slightly towards the young woman to dispel the silence between them.

Ruiying raises a brow. She doesn't know what to make of this situation. "Aren't you a cyborg?" She questions, her tone accusing, though she means no ill will behind it. "Aren't you supposed to, oh, I don't know, sense me or something? You're not really the kind of person to go bumping into things or other people for that matter."

The woman bends down to clean up the mess and pick up the dropped books as she waits for his explanation. It really doesn't make sense as to how he bumped into her. Genos doesn't respond to her question, however. He doesn't quite enjoy the idea of lying to her or withholding information from her, but somehow, he can't bring himself to be honest about this. If he could, then he wouldn't have staged this kind of scene to play out in the first place.

"Sorry," Genos repeats, and he follows behind her to help retrieve her books.

His hands move around the ground, but it seems like his eyes are far more focused on Ruiying's hands than the books themselves. He watches and waits for his chance, and he deliberately brushes his hand against Ruiying's own just as she goes to pick up the last book on the ground. He thought that he was being subtle, but the action was completely unnatural, and she notices it straight away.

Unfortunately for Genos, her heart doesn't thump with fluttery butterflies like he was hoping for, and instead, Ruiying is left feeling far more confused than she was initially. She opens her mouth to speak and call Genos out on his strange behaviour, but in the end, she opts against questioning it. It looks like attempt number one is a bust.

Attempt 2: Making a homemade bento for your love interest

Since attempt number one didn't turn out as planned, Genos decides to put his next plan into action. He decides to make a meal for Ruiying. Food is an important part of a human being's life. Making food for someone else is a sign to show that one cares for them, and Genos wants to be able to get his feelings across this time. If not with words and actions, then maybe with food.

Genos browses through the Internet at immense speed, searching for ideas and recipes he can possibly use. He knows that Ruiying is busy with her schoolwork and studying, so he wants to make her something that will help keep her energized. He wants to make her something that will show that he's paying attention to her and cares for her. He hopes that it'll help her out somehow, no matter how small.

It's the early morning, and before Ruiying can head out for school, Genos decides to give her his homemade bento. "I made this for you," he tells her, offering the packed lunch out to her, and she happily accepts it with no questions. It is free food after all. She has no reason to refuse.

"Thanks!" Ruiying repays his kindness with a vibrant smile, and Genos finds himself heating up a bit at the sight. The woman doesn't catch his reaction though, and she leaves to go about her day as usual.

Later at noon, Ruiying takes out the bento that was offered to her while her notes lie in front of her. She begins to eat the food without much thought of it, her mind too busy trying to understand and memorize all of the notes she needs to get down before proceeding any further with her studying.

It's only when she's halfway through her meal does she finally look down at what she's eating. A questioning sound leaves her lips when she's met with the sight of how the food is laid out. At first glance, it almost looks like there's a sort of "heart theme" going on with the bento—no, wait... there is a heart theme after all.

Ruiying leans back in her seat, staring awfully hard at the food she was previously eating without a care. "What the...?" she mutters underneath her breath.

For a while, Ruiying wonders if maybe she's just seeing things she secretly wants to see, but there's no doubt about it. This bento practically screams romantic undertones no matter how you look at it. Ruiying bites down at her lower lip. She considers for one brief moment that maybe... just maybe... Genos might reciprocate her feelings and see her in a romantic nature rather than a purely platonic one?

"..."

Ruiying shakes her head, quickly waving the idea out of her mind with a wry smile. It's ridiculous, she argues with herself. She holds a certain sense of self-doubt and is unable to come to terms with the idea that Genos might actually feel the same way she does about him. That he might actually her the same way she loves him, more than just a friend. She comes to the conclusion that he was probably just trying out something new. She convinces herself of that reasoning, but despite it all, she holds a sliver of doubt—and hope—within her heart that perhaps there might be more to all this.

Attempt 3: Love Triangle

Ah yes, there's always the typical love triangle trope. There's something about the idea of bringing another party into the mix that seems to add excitement to avid readers of shoujo manga. Genos considers giving this particular trope a shot, but for that, he'll need somebody to help him out with this plan if he were to go through with it.

He'll need someone who can stay true to the script and somebody he knows won't accidentally fall for Ruiying as well (and thus gain a proper love rival of his own). He goes through a list of all the possible candidates, and unfortunately, the only person that comes to mind is Saitama. He's the only one he can trust with this very important mission.

Genos decides to approach Saitama one afternoon. "Sensei—"

"No," comes the man's quick and curt response, not bothering to look up once from the book he's reading. The moment Genos walked into the room, Saitama already had a vague understanding of what it was that the cyborg wanted to ask of him.

Looks like attempt three was a quick failure, but Genos refuses to give up just yet.

Attempt 4: Sakura viewing with your love interest

Despite Genos being quite determined and focused on trying to recreate very typical and cliché scenes found in shoujo manga, it isn't like he's completely disregarded Ruiying's own feelings and state of being. It hasn't escaped his notice that the young woman has been feeling rather stressed and tired from all of her studying and schoolwork. Out of consideration for her physical and mental well-being, he decides to invite her out to view the sakura which are currently in full bloom, hoping that it will help her relax, even if only just a little.

At this point in time of the school year, Ruiying has pretty much given up on anything and everything school-related for the time being. She's more than happy and eager to accept the offered invitation without much fuss to give her some time to herself. She asks if she can bring Mantou along as well since it's been a while they were able to spend some time together due to her hectic schedule. Genos doesn't mind it, so long as it'll make Ruiying happy, and the two of them set up a time and date for their planned sakura viewing.

Since the previous bento attempt turned out pretty well with Ruiying having finished the whole thing and having her wholeheartedly thanking Genos for the thoughtful meal, the cyborg figures it wouldn't hurt to make another one for their date. (Well, he's calling it a date, but he isn't sure if Ruiying sees it the same way.) Not only that, but he finds himself feeling quite giddy at the idea of Ruiying enjoying what he made for her. It fills him with a certain sense of pride and accomplishment. Once again, he looks up various sites through the Internet in search of recipes that Ruiying might like and appreciate on their little outing.

The decided upon date for their sakura viewing comes rather quickly, and both Genos and Ruiying head out with Mantou in tow, yipping excitedly by their feet. They arrive at one of the nearby parks where one can comfortably view the sakura in all its glory, and they easily find a good spot to settle down in. They begin making their preparations, setting out a picnic blanket on the ground for them to sit on while Genos takes out the bento he made for them to enjoy.

A comfortable silence stretches out over them, the pair eating the food with little to no words exchanged in between. Both Genos and Ruiying sit side-by-side, their shoulders brushing against one another every now and then as they appreciate the gorgeous view of the flowers before them while also relishing in the warm presence that their company provides. This is rather nice, they think to themselves. It's been a while since they've been able to relax so freely like this beside one another.

The pair of them go through the bento at a leisurely pace, each taking turns of petting Mantou who can't seem to sit still and moves back and forth between the two. As Ruiying runs her hands over the dog's synthetic fur, Ruiying can't help but recall the day Genos had gifted him to her.

Just because Ruiying is allergic didn't stop her at all from petting whatever dogs she came across (with the owner's permission, of course), and Genos had grown concerned for her well-being. It's not like he could stop her from doing what she wanted, but at the same time, he didn't like the idea of her basically putting her life at stake just for a few fleeting moments of happiness to pet a cute animal.

That's why he decided to give her Mantou out of the goodness of his heart so that she can enjoy having a dog of her own without having to put her health at risk. Needless to say, Ruiying can still remember how touched she felt on that day. Something seemed to change in their relationship, and it hasn't exactly been the same since then. Even her thoughts and feelings of him had started to shift to something more deep and profound, even if she herself never properly voiced them out loud. It isn't necessarily a bad change per se, but change is still change, and Ruiying has noticed it. Her mind can't help but wonder just where exactly her relationship with Genos is heading, slow-paced and awkward as it is.

She glances down at the food in her hands, and once again, she silently notes the romantic theme behind it. There's lots of reds and pinks as well as heart-shaped food packed into the bento. Ruiying has read enough of the romance genre to kind of form some thoughts and conclusions as to what Genos is possibly scheming with all of this, but once again, she's too scared to consider the possibility of it being true. Even though she wants it to be true, a sense of anxiety grips at her heart that she'll just get her hopes up for nothing and have it all come crashing down at some point when or if she finds out that her conclusions are wrong.

She likes where her relationship with Genos is right now. It's true that perhaps she's hoping for something more to come out of it, but she doesn't want to risk what the two of them already have. She doesn't want to put any kind of awkwardness or strain or distance to this relationship that she so deeply cherishes, both internally and externally.

Ruiying decides to put those heavy thoughts on hold for the time being. She brings a hand up to her mouth to cover a yawn that she had been trying to suppress. She's visibly sleepy, and Genos, to her complete and utter shock, offers to have her use his lap as a pillow.

The young woman stares at him, eyes wide with disbelief and feeling very much dumbfounded. She can't help but ask, a bit on guard, "Are you... joking?" She really can't tell if he's being serious or not.

"No," he answers simply, shifting his position around so that he's on his knees and gestures towards his lap for her to lie down on.

"I, uh..." Ruiying starts, uncertain of what exactly to do in this kind of situation. Should she accept? Would it be weird if she accepted? Do friends usually do this kind of thing? Now she's starting to hold some doubts, and Genos continues to stare at her with expectant eyes, waiting for her to lie her head down on her lap. As thankful as she is for the kind offer, it's far too embarrassing for her.

In the end, Ruiying shakes her head. "Uh, no, it's fine. I'm good," she finally answers, her tone hesitant and wary, her mind still racing to sort out this situation.

Genos looks a bit disappointed, but Ruiying waves it off, thinking that perhaps she's just imagining things. Why would he offer a lap pillow for her? It just doesn't make sense, no matter how hard she thinks about it. He doesn't push the topic any further to her relief, and they continue on as per usual. The rest of the sakura viewing goes off without a hitch, and they begin to clean up so that they can head back home.

As they're packing up, Genos becomes lost in his thoughts once again. Ruiying would probably never have guessed that the thing on his mind right now is a bunch of shoujo tropes and scenes usually aimed towards young female adults to make their heart race. He goes over his mental library of notes that he's taken from all the manga he binged through, and he comes across one that he saw quite often, even if it didn't particularly make sense to him.

It involves one character catching the other mid-fall. He wonders if he can try to recreate a scene like that right now, but similar to his first attempt of bumping into Ruiying, this plan of his is based more on luck and timing rather than anything else. Genos briefly considers the idea of tripping the woman to instigate the scene, so to speak, but after a quick second thought, he decides against it. No matter what, even if it's for his own personal gain and reasons, he's highly against the idea of bringing Ruiying any kind of harm, no matter how small. He had promised to himself that he would protect her, not hurt her. He has certain lines he refuses to cross.

That leaves him empty-handed now, however, and it's back to square one for him. As they're heading back home, engaging in some simple and casual conversation, Genos feels something drop at the top of his head. He tilts his head back and looks up, noticing that rain clouds have blown in, and it quickly starts to rain.

Genos, straightforward and simpleminded in his thoughts as always, realizes that he can use this as his chance for yet another attempt in wooing Ruiying and getting her to fall for him. If he recalls correctly, one of the characters would usually offer to share an umbrella or jacket and walk underneath it together, forcing them to stay close to one another. Unfortunately for him, he remembers that he doesn't have either of the two items to use, so he decides to use the next best thing: his shirt.

"Wh-What are you doing?!" Ruiying asks with embarrassed horror in her voice, trying hard not to scream as Genos removes the shirt he's currently wearing and leave him with no top on. Since she's holding Mantou in her arms at the time, she ends up squeezing the dog a bit tighter against her chest as reflex since she really doesn't know how else to react.

Genos doesn't answer and instead drapes the article of clothing over Ruiying's head. It does little to provide her shelter from the rain, but it's better than nothing at all. Despite the confusion and embarrassment she feels, Ruiying's heart skips a beat at the stiff and awkward gesture, feeling oddly touched.

She really doesn't understand what Genos is thinking or why he's behaving like this, but at this point, due to how strange he's been acting as of late, she's learned to just accept these things as is. Though she will admit, she supposes that a small part of her is appreciative of these kind acts and the like. She might not know what's going on with him (even if her heart might already have an idea), but she can't deny that these past few days have been kind of... fun and maybe even a little heart pounding. She would be lying if she said she wasn't feeling a bit happier than usual ever since Genos started acting like this. The two of them walk back home with nothing but the sound of rain and Mantou's small barks to fill the clumsy and awkward air in between them.

Attempt 5: Kabedon

Genos is betting everything he has on this last trope and attempt. He's gone through every single overused scene and trope he can think of and weighed in on tropes he can try to recreate and which ones he can't. At this time, he's tried out almost every trope in the book except for this one—the kabedon. It's the most wildly used and acknowledged trope that even the characters in the manga themselves acknowledge it, so surely nothing can go wrong this time, right?

Preparing himself for the task at hand, Genos finds Ruiying when she's all alone. He calls out to her to get her attention. She pauses in her tracks, curious, and turns to face him. She's in a good position, standing relatively close to the wall. The cyborg walks up to the woman, lifting up his arms and tries to slam his palms against the wall behind her. It should have been executed rather well, but he ends up underestimating his strength. Somehow, he ends up breaking the wall, his hands going inside the hard surface and leaves him stuck there.

Ruiying is caged in between Genos' arms as planned, but the situation is a bit... well, there isn't really a good enough word to properly describe it. It's definitely an amusing sight to any passerby, but for the two of them, it's difficult to explain. A moment of awkward and tense silence passes between the two with Ruiying peering up at Genos with a very confused look and him peering down at her with an unreadable expression.

"Do you, uh... Do you need help?" Ruiying asks slowly, finally breaking the silence between them.

"Yes." Genos' face is deadpan in accepting her offer.

Ruiying breathes out a small sigh, almost sounding exasperated as she ducks her head and moves underneath the cyborg's arms so that she's no longer caged by him. She wraps her fingers around him, and after a couple of firm tugs, she's able to help him get out of his predicament. Genos offers her a bow and word of thanks, but Ruiying is too distracted to properly accept it.

Instead, the woman crosses her arms across her chest. She can't figure out the reason for Genos' strange behaviour as of late, and to be perfectly honest, it's starting to creep her out a bit. Not necessarily in a bad way, but in a more concerned kind of sense. She decides to bite the bullet and ask him directly.

"You've been acting weird lately," she points out, and Genos can't deny it. He knows that he's been acting rather out of character around her lately. She tilts her head to the side. "Any particular reason why?"

Her gaze is strong and unyielding, and it doesn't look like Ruiying will be letting him get away from her without some form of explanation. With no other cards left to play, Genos has no choice. Just as Ruiying herself decided to directly ask him, he concludes that it's only reasonable that he be direct as well.

He straightens up his back, his eyes suddenly serious. The air around him changes, becoming almost heavy, and Ruiying unconsciously gulps, afraid of what his reason might be. It seems... really serious. They stand there for a while, staring at one another without saying anything. Is Genos mentally preparing himself for something or what? Ruiying shakes her head. If he doesn't want to tell her, then she won't force him. She opens her mouth to tell him that it's okay, but—

"I love you."

It's simple and straight to the point. There's no fluttery words or praise or compliments added into it. It is just as it is, quick and direct and with no room for misunderstandings or anything like that.

Ruiying stares at Genos in disbelief, and he stares down at her, waiting for her response, whether it be acceptance, rejection, or reciprocation. It takes a while, since she's still trying to process those three very simple but meaningful words that can change everything they know about their relationship, and the moment she does, she becomes a flustered mess.

Her cheeks and tips of her ears become visibly red from embarrassment, and she's left stumbling and fumbling with her words. Her lips part, and sounds come out, but she can't form any kind of cohesive sentence. Genos finds himself being so entranced by her cute reaction that he can't help but wonder why didn't just do this in the first place. It would have saved him so much time and effort, he realizes.

Seconds tick on by, and Ruiying is still trying to gather up her words to answer to his confession. Hoping that it'll help her out, Genos asks, "Do you feel the same towards me?" Maybe if he asks a straightforward question like this, it will help her out of her embarrassed state.

She stops floundering around for a while, going dead silent. She bows her head, and Genos can't see her expression anymore, but she gives a subtle nod of her head that's almost easy to miss at first glance.

"...Yes," she finally answers with a soft and whispered voice, but it is full of sincerity and honesty.

Genos feels something akin to warmth bloom in his chest. She loves him. He loves her. Finally, they're able to get their feelings across to each other. Finally, they're able to understand one another to a far better extent and be on the same page for once instead of trying to figure each other out.

Genos delicately cups Ruiying's chin between his fingers, and he gently tilts her head back up, wanting to see her face. Her entire face is glowing with a pinkish hue, but despite the blush she's wearing and troubled crease between her brows, there's joy dancing behind her eyes, and Genos' eyes mirror it.

Seeing as the straightforward approach was the most effective way of doing things and led to the best result, Genos continues with that direct way of handling things and asks another question. "Can I kiss you?"

Ruiying would have never imagined such a request to come from Genos himself, but she heard them loud and clear. Her eyes glance off to the side for a brief second before finding the courage to bring her attention back to him.

"Yes," she accepts, breathing out her response.

Genos smiles softly at her, the sight making her heart thump wildly against her chest. He leans in close, slow but purposeful. He presses his lips against hers, giving her a careful and short-lived kiss before pulling back once more.

Ruiying's blush intensifies even further, and she's no longer able to look Genos in the eyes. Her heart is racing faster than it's ever done before, but she's so full of love and joy at this moment that nothing else matters. Genos thinks back on the past few days ever since he decided to confront his feelings towards Ruiying. Although it might have taken a while to reach this point, and although there were a few snags along the way, in the end, it was all worth it for this moment and for the future that lies ahead for them and their relationship.

Ohh!Hm, well, I don’t have any that I have like... fleshed out, regularly draw or RP with or anything like that... I have a few that I’ve made up for my fics where I needed a certain perspective or some such? These are the ones that spring to mind...

I will put this under a Read More, on account of the quotes making the post a bit long...

The oldest one I have, I guess, is from The unwilling patient (2016) where we study Genos’ body through the eyes of a young cyberneticist working for the HA, tasked to repair Genos after he’s injured:

By all accounts, he should have felt beyond excited. As far as he knew, no one had ever been given the same opportunity - the same honour. This would be a true testament to his skills. He'd be able to say, afterwards, that "ah, yes, that is the result of my work! Look at him go, how I fixed him!" Something to put in his resume, for sure. Something to brag about later. He should have been ecstatic.

The truth, however, was that he only felt very, very nervous. Primarily thanks to a pair of gold-on-black eyes that shone with an absolute fury. Directed straight at him.

A few months later I made a follow-up to that one, where the guy is fleshed out a little more and we learn that his name is Sato Ichigo (and that he has a girlfriend who tells him to tone down the fanboy:ing). That piece is titled Ten Visits and is about Genos visiting Ichigo for repairs that he doesn’t want to bother Kuseno with, gradually forming a sort of friendship (which was Kuseno’s plan all along, heh) as well as seeing Genos/Saitama’s relationship through an outsider’s view, which is one of my favourite things to write...

If Ichigo had been braver, he might have asked Doctor Kuseno if maybe he could come for a visit to see his lab and his work, one day. But that felt too large a request, especially knowing how the old man preferred to work in the shadows.

Instead, he diligently took to pestering Genos a while later, when he was still waking up and too out of it to put up much of a fight.

"Will you take me to see him?"

"Ngh."

"Come on!"

"Muh..."

"Pretty please?"

The cyborg was still on the table, blinking at the harsh lights above him and looking rather lost. Saitama hovered nearby, watching everything but not in the almost hostile way he had when they first came in. If anything, he looked intrigued by Genos' confusion.

"I'm not usually there when he wakes up from bigger repairs like this. I guess I get why now... he probably doesn't want me to see him in this state" he said in an amused tone, poking a soft cheek and chuckling as the other tried to swat his hand away, metal palm not quite hitting the mark as he waved it almost 20 cm too far to the side. "Is he even really awake?" "Yes. His brain is fully active. It's just his body that's rebooting and calibrating. It's taking longer than usual because I had to disable so many functions when I worked on it today." "'seno id-on" "What?" the other two said together as Genos attempted to speak. He took a moment to give them each a half-hearted glare before taking a deeper breath and trying again. "Kus...eno. De-ion." "Kuseno's decision?" Saitama offered, used to trying to make sense of his disciple in various states of disrepair... and abilities to speak coherently. "Yes." "If the kid can visit him?"

"Yes."

"But you will ask him for me, right?" Ichigo replied immediately. "Please? I mean... The more I learn about his work, the better I can help you, too? You'll at least ask, right?"

"Man, you really dig the old man, huh?" Saitama offered when Genos remained quiet.

"I, yes, I do! I mean, just look at Genos! He's amazing!"

"Sensei... amazing" Genos murmured, but said sensei just jabbed at his cheek again in response to that. This time the cyborg managed to grab the offending index finger, but instead of pushing it away, he continued to hold the hand close to his face. The show of affection was not lost on the cybernetician.

"Sap" he teased, smiling.

The next one after THAT was in a piece called Left in the past, where Saitama and Genos chance upon Genos’ cousin from his childhood. Saitama is surprised that Genos apparently cut all ties to him years ago despite losing the rest of his family, but eventually learns why.

"Man, those girls really love you huh" he asks ruefully after they barely escape another round of fans begging for his autograph. "They do!" Saitama answers for him, giving Genos a mild shove, Kaito laughing at his flustered expression. "Do they know it's a lost cause?" Kaito continues and Genos' somewhat pleased expression immediately turns sour. "Enough from you" he mutters darkly at the other who smirks back challengingly. "Well, he's right, isn't he?" Saitama chuckles. "Demon Cyborg is definitely married to his job!" Kaito laughs with him, but Genos is quiet for the rest of the walk home.

A honourable mention for the Crazy cat lady monster in Catnos, because I actually quite dig her (and I very lowkey want to make some sort of follow up where like, Saitama is like “ok but I wanna try being a kitty too” and they find her again, so I can write about Saitama’s turn to be a cat...)

”Life is simpler as a cat, is it not? Eat, sleep, play. Not so many responsibilities, not so many worries. Well, if you can forget them, at least. But you still remember, don’t you, little kitty?”

”Meow…”

”So do I, so do I. I remember them all. All the people who mistreated me, who were cruel to me. Cats are better than people. Cats are never intentionally cruel to anyone…”

Genos blinked up at the monster, but it paid him no mind as it continued.

”It was just me. Me and the cats against everyone. And I wished it was just me and the cats, and no one else at all. And then… it was. Such a thrill it was, to have that power…”

Like a striking snake the hand suddenly struck out and grabbed Genos by the scruff of the neck. He yowled loudly, twisting and struggling to get away, fighting for his life as he was lifted high into the air, but it seemed impossible to escape the monster’s grip on him.

”Easy, easy…” the monster murmured. It was looking straight at him now, pale eyes unreadable, illuminated by the moon and a flickering street light. ”Now you can’t hurt me either. All I wanted was to be alone, but you couldn’t even let me have that? So mean… you’re better off as a cat…”

Genos hissed as he dangled in the air, willing the monster to extend its other hand so that he could bite it, scratch it, anything.

”See? If you weren’t so mean, I wouldn’t have had to change you. If you’d just left me alone… But there’s no place for me in this world, is there? Not as a human, not like this…”

There’s the baby girl that I have actually drawn, here, although I don’t have a name for her or anything... but it’s probably her in the oneshot titled Pop where Genos has his torso filled with popcorn kernels while he sleeps, although she’d be a bit older there...

Genos awoke over an hour later, no thanks to himself - it was an alert that roused him, beeping and blinking at the edge of his vision.

FOREIGN BODY DETECTED

”Whu-” he flailed an arm around, blinking the light from his eyes. He’d been attacked? Why hadn’t his proximity sensors awoken him, what could possibly-

A chubby face looked down at him from where he laid, breaking into a wide smile when she realized he was awake.

”Daddy!”

”H-honey? You’re up?”

”Yeah!” the little one proclaimed proudly, and reached her hand forward, towards his chest - why was his shirt pulled so high? He got his answer immediately as his daughter resolutely pushed something into his exposed vent, giggling in absolute glee as it disappeared into his body with a low rattle.

”What are you-...” carefully Genos pulled himself into a sitting position, pulling his shirt down as he did so - only to hear a strange, clinking noise, like pebbles in a can. A lot of pebbles. From inside his torso.

AND the very last one is... well, for ages I’ve had this idea of a group of little old ladies that live in City Z, not the abandoned parts like Sai but not too far from him, probably? They’ve lived there their whole lives and they’re not going to move now just because weird critters have started showing up more often. Fierce little ladies that spend a good portion of their day fighting with that bald man over the sales and scaring wolf level threats away with their purses and canes. I lowkey want to write about Genos and Saitama’s struggles with them, haha.

Bonus: One day Kuseno visits and the ladies see him and they are blown away and demand Genos introduce them to him and Genos is just suffering (and like Saitama, he’s used to just... fighting and arguing with them, normally, so it’s all very weird to him!)

Where I got their names

Ai asked kat a question about her oc names and she posted a nice long thing so i thought i should do it too :) this is gonna be long

UPDATE 4/12/2020: added my MISC ocs

Kim - my first oc, based off me the most, i made her in 2012. my name is kim. you get the idea

Giza - Giza was originally evil ( i made them when i was 12 ok) and lai told me that giza means ‘dark’ in swahili. it stuck.

Seuk - full is ‘seukutchi’ the other hangul is spelled “seukechi” its basically a pun for “sketch” because she was an artist when I made her.

Beta - since beta and seuk used to be the same person (IE: beta’s edgy design, seuk’s personality) when i finally remade her, me and lai kept calling her “beta seuk” then beta.

Chrys - her full name is Chrysanthemum, which is a beautiful flower :)

Drake - the name ‘drake’ reminded me of dragon, which are powerful. he’s powerful. my creative thought process apparently.

Rosedelia - rose, the flower, but cooler.

katherine - kim’s mom. my moms name is kathy.

Durahdria / Chrothontic - I came up with them on my own, I thought they sounded cool.

Fantasma - spirit witch leader. fantasma is “ghost” in spanish

also for the lols

Peter / Edgard - they were worse villanious characters when I first made them, so i picked out names I thought were “ugly” LOL

The demons

Damion - different spelling of “damien” which is son of satan. hes directly below satan in power ranks.

Geno - Originally a persona, i named her “genocider” based off a character I liked back then. Shortened it to be less weird.

Rae - Originally named Reria. She was based off a little girl i met in one of my dreams when I was younger. Shortened it to Rae when I remade her :)

MISC

Autumn - She was born in one of the "autumn" months, September... also based off me, and fall is my favorite time of the year.

Kalt - Autumn’s brother. Kalt means “Cold” in German. He was born in December. he was also originally a persona of mine.

Raven - Originally a nickname given to her by one of her foster parents for her “Black, raven hair” the name stuck the most. Also it’s lowkey edgy which Raven likes.

Aiko - Aiko’s main aesthetic is “love’. Ai = love in Japanese. :)

I’m not sure Bennett is fully comfortable in this offense yet. I mentioned in Inbox this morning it took until Week 3 last year for Cook to start making things happen, and then unfortunately he got hurt. I think it’s coming with Marty.

I think I’d like to have either Bakhtiari or Bulaga healthy if the Packers can’t have both. We know Spriggs is out multiple weeks, and playing McCray out of position is a tough deal. I’d like to see at least one of the tackles back out there this week, if I had my druthers.

Taking a prospect through some drills and conditioning workouts, kind of like a combine-style thing. They do it regularly, most of the time on Tuesdays. They’re constantly keeping and updating files on players they might want to sign later to the roster or practice squad.

What are your biggest concerns as the Pack faces the Bengals? Is confidence lacking?

I don’t sense any lack of confidence. With the Bengals, A.J. Green and Geno Atkins are the keys, one on each side of the ball. Don’t let either have a big day. That’s where I start.

There’s always an advantage to extra rest. The Bengals are 0-2 out of the gate and have had extra time to think about getting their season back on track. I expect to see a highly motivated opponent on Sunday.

Do you think the “Nitro” package is just a gimmick defense that most OC’s will catch up to it quickly?

It’s not a gimmick. It’s a personnel package based on the offense’s personnel. If the O goes heavy run formation, the Packers won’t be in nitro, and if out of regular personnel they can run the ball down Green Bay’s throat, the Packers would have to adjust from nitro.

I would imagine so. That’s the nature of it. Everyone gets all jacked up for the one game per week, and losses are disappointing. Other teams are better sometimes.

Mike, thanks for your take on the replay system in this morning’s Insider Inbox. I wholeheartedly agree. Taking it one step further, it would be great if the replay official had no prior knowledge of the call on the field (if possible).

Interesting thought, but even that wouldn’t be necessary if they just changed the “indisputable” language of the rule. I’ve heard from many that disagree with my take because this is finally a rule that favors the defense. I don’t look at it that way. I look at it as trying to get the call right as often as possible.

Mike, Two part question. Is this a critical year (#3) for Rollins and Randall as far as remaining on the Packers’ roster? SEcondly, how would you rate the Packers over the last several years as far as hitting on top draft choices (rounds 1-3)?

I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily critical for them remaining on the roster, because they’ll have one year left on their rookie contracts after this year. But their performances this year will determine the future path/decisions in free agency, draft, etc., at their position going forward.

Mike, I couldn’t help but be annoyed/aggravated when we were marching down the field in the 4th and the ATL defender “went down” with an injury. They were tired and on their heels. Is there not any rule or penalty for that? that seemed like a good cheap way to get a break for ur guys and get some subs in.

It happens all the time. I’m not really sure what anyone can do about it.

I disagree with you replay take this morning. The Falcons mobbed Rodgers and he got rid of the ball. Protect Rodgers and that play does not happen. Can we still get along even though we may disagree?

Sure. Even Rodgers admitted he needs to get the ball out quicker. The linemen were all cut blocking to get their defenders on the ground. That means the play was designed to be a quick throw. He can’t hold it like that and set himself up for the big hit.

Teams send in plays to be reviewed all the time. It’s part of the process.

They didn’t get much help from the offense against Seattle either. 17 points, with a 6-yard TD drive after a turnover. I look for GB’s offense to hit its stride at home this week.

I had a lot of respect for the work the backup tackles did on Sunday night. For anyone unhappy with their effort, go back and watch the Giants on Monday night. This is one of the reasons I believe Campen is a great coach. His players are always ready to give it a go and know what is expected.

I give Murphy and McCray a ton of credit for what they did, and you’re right, Campen deserves props too.

That would be a heck of a year, but the Packers need to sub for Montgomery more if they want him to last, and be effective, all the way through the season. McCarthy knows he can’t have this type of workload for 16 games.

The Giants’ O-line is epically bad, Manning is an aging increasingly immobile QB, and the G-men have not scored more than 20 points in 8 straight games. The Lions have improved but, before the start of the season, the Giants were arguably the most overrated team in the League …

I don’t follow the Giants closely, but it seemed their O-line was an issue last year, and I’m not sure what they did to address it. They didn’t add any dynamic running backs to help Eli, either. McAdoo will figure out a way to get it going, but for an 11-win team last year, they’re off to a really rough start.

I read the Lacy piece, too, and while it’s sad the way people attack others on social media, Lacy could just shut it all out, too. To each his own. As I said before with Monty’s workload, I think we’ll see more of Williams this week.

I don’t think so, in the sense that if a player is cleared medically, I think he plays. How quickly he can bounce back to play again might be another matter.

I felt Jones was ahead of Evans on the safety depth chart, so I wasn’t surprised. I think we could be seeing more of Jones.

The playoff record has hung over Lewis for along time, and if the decision on the OC doesn’t pan out, his seat will get hotter. But Lewis is a heck of a coach and he’ll remain in the NFL for a while yet, I imagine.

Good question. The Packers will get two cracks at the Lions, so if you’re pushing for the top seed in the NFC, you probably root for Detroit to win this one. The Packers will probably have to beat the Lions twice to be in the top-seed mix anyway.

It’s Valentine’s Day and before today i was in Malaysia for a few days and I could only think about the things i could buy for Bryan. Lmao I bought a bag of snacks and chocolates and I was extremely excited before giving it to Bryan. So yay when I got into his room and stuff he started eating those cheese sticks anyways I love their cheese. I forgot what brand that was but I swear that brand has the best cheese in the world. So Bryan also almost finished the box of cheese dips with me he wanted to save like a box for his sister, but well he told me that his sister didn’t like the cheese soooo boohoohoo maybe small kids have slightly different taste buds. So while I was in Malaysia I went to this store and well it was filled with anime stuff and idk kpop stuff. There was like a lot Pokémon stuff to so i decided to fill the Valentine’s Day bag that I’m giving Bryan filled with Pokémon stuff. I really forgot how much I spent on that shop but I bought a Pikachu plush 20-25cm I thinkkkkk I don’t rmbbb maybe smaller lolll. And I also got like a few tiny legendary Pokémon figures they aren’t like real legit figures but i thought it would be kinda cuteee. So I kinda made a box and put it in so it wouldn’t look that awkward scattered around in the bag. There was also this fake Lego Pokémon thing and I decided to buy it for him because it looked kinda cute I don’t think he kinda fixed it buttt :

So we had decided to Skype each other. Well apparently it’s 15/02 but like I haven’t slept so it’s counted as 14/02. And yea. Around 12am Bryan asked me to do something that I just didn’t want to do so he became angry and I became angry. And then Bryan suddenly cut and ended the call on me so I got angry and I told him that other guys wouldn’t treat me like that. I mean I don’t get angry fast, but when I do I go all destructive I’ll get insensitive to other people’s feelings and I will do anything just to make that person feel down. Also when I get angry, I don’t get angry easily and instead I’ll get angry because it was a built up thing or something. So after he cut the call with me i got angry and then I texted him saying like insensitive stuff to him.

But then after I said all those angry stuff to him he said I broke his heart and he said he was the worst boyfriend ever and I started breaking down and started crying. So I realized I was angry and I didn’t mean everything I said but then when it tried to call him again he didn’t pick up. I guess I’m a bitch when I’m angry tbh I don’t deserve anyone. i become mean and I’m a pure asshole when I’m angry I just want to put people down to feel better about myself I’m such a coward

So I woke up worried and like legit I woke up with my heart thumping real fast cuz I was really worried about Bryan because of ystd night. So apparently I woke up late and by the time I reached Macpherson Mrt, Bryan was already there and then I started tearing up a little cuz I thought he was still upset with me. and well guess what he had a paper bag on his hands and he passed it to me and he said Happy late valentine’s day. Then I started crying.

Like I would always make sure he tells me when he’s back from home so I wouldn’t be so worried about him. And well he told me he was back home, but like actually he lied to me and he went all the way just to shop shoes for my Valentine’s day gift. First of all, I was so touched and like cuz he said that ystd night on skype was a prank and then I felt so bad for saying all the bad stuff to him. so I became like fuckingg guilty and i cried more.

(p.s. we promised each other not to get each other gifts for Valentine’s day cuz it was exam period and I didn’t want him or me to spend time for each other choosing our gifts rather than studying. but like since I was in msia, I might as well buy for Bryan stuff since I wasn’t even studying so like, might as well. but Bryan bought it when he could spend that time studyingggg.)

Anyways I appreciate that a lot and omg I was extremelyy happy and surprised also when he gave it to me. Like, I didn’t even expect ittt. I didn’t even expect any gift since like we also made a compromise not to give each other gifts but oh wellll

So when we reached the sch library, I could finally see what Bryan bought for me. and to tbvvvvvh the first thing I was looking for was a card, and I was kinda disappointed that there wasn’t a card inside the bag. but when I opened the shoe box there was a card so I immediately brightened up :DDD and like I read the card at the same spot without putting it down like thrice before looking at the shoes. anyways the shoes are like damn nice. okay, i slept with the shoes I’m not even kidding I’m like so in love with my shoes I love black andd pastel pink so much it’s like two of my most favourite colours and it also has my name engraved on in istg the shoes are like so beautiful I cant stop looking at it even after I went back home. BUT THE SHOES ARE FUCKING $100+ LIEK WTF DUUUUDEEEE. FUCK HE CANT SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON ME AGAIN. FUCK I FEEL DAMN BAD SIAAAAAA

well after that, since it was still earlyy (arnd 9am?) we decide to just get out of sch library to like go his house againnn. Well we met Cindy on our way to the Mrt and what happened afterward was even funnier. Apparently when we came back we decided to join Cindy and the rest to study at the library, Cindy asked what we did while we were out we said we ate lunch but I forgot what Bryan said but he lied to Cindy, but cuz Cindy saw us outside the mrt she caught Bryan lying and lmao I legit facepalmed cuz hahahah we’re sorta exposed.

so yeaaa we studied in the library with Cindy and I was studying math while Bryan was studying OC. he asked me a few questions about OC I tried to recall but then a few seconds later I had my hand flicked away again by Bryan.

like okay I’m happy he’s being straightforward with his feelings with me. like if he’s annoyed he’ll show it. AND I really like and appreciate that but sometimes he goes too harsh and I’m like urghhdskjhfldsajhfsdf

Anyways Cindy and the rest decided to eat dinner and like I thought Bryan was still angry with me so I didn’t join them cuz like I want Bryan to enjoy his meal but oh well. instead of studying while they were eating I took out Bteh’s old phone and went on tinder I had 7 other Bryan matches anyway lmao. I also shopped online and there’s alot of things I want to buy after all my exams are over. and omggggg I want this softball keychain its damn cuteeee it’s like only $2+ with shipping blahblah but yaaaaaassss I wna get ittttt. But right, after that it was like 6:30pm and I have to go home cuz “curfew”. (my parents never mentioned anything like curfew but everytime i step home after7:30 pm I will be like scolded and tadaaaaa urghsdfnbsdf;kjf;kdf)

I finally got my contact lensees. yayyyy I can finally wear them to training and I wouldn’t feel as insecure again. people also say that I look uglier without contacts on sooooooo,sighhhh. and sometimes Bryan would joke about me being ugly without contacts and that’s when I get insecure the most. also like at times, he would tell me about how he finds a certain girl pretty on ig and ill get insecure and jealous shit like wtf but yeah. but like, I appreciate he’s being honest too but I do get like sad and insecure when he talk abt how pretty other girls are. like Angeline okay omg I hate it the most when he talks abt fantasizing Angeline I hate that shit. like normally ill just be sad. but like Angeline, I get triggered whenever he talks abt her. but like again I appreciate and like his honesty, he tells me stuff but I also can’t help but feel insecure and sad tbh idk what I want lmao. maybe girls are confusing after all.

Bryan started watching pewdiepie play undertale. he was kinda scared too but like I guess undertale is not as scary as five nights of Freddie’s but it tends to scare a person emotionally soooooo lol okay. I’ve asked Bryan to watch Flowey’s boss fight but he didn’t want to cuz he kinda didn’t want spoilers and like wanted to watch it in order. but oh well, in the end, he spent his money on undertale and he didn’t play the game apparently cuz he didn’t found it fun as he watched all the spoilers and now finding it boring with. I asked him to play geno but he also didn’t want to screw to game up. he wanted to start with pacific/neutral but he found it boring so sighhhhh.

it was grading today I was vvvv nervousss. it is like legit my grading in 10years. And apparently now is non contact???? contact used to be allowed in sparring for gradings welllll. so I was huhhhh no head kick huhhh and also went like waitttt no contact???? Kim mdm heard me and she like snapped at me saying: yes laa u so long never grading meh? (well I wanted to talk back and said like welll it has been 10years since my last grading, but hahahaha no balls) no beef with kim mdm shes nice, im okay with her but I think she was triggered during that grading day. There was this girl, like I don’t personally know her (ig name aka beaticecwl??????) but she asked kim mdm smthing and idk what kim mdm snapped back but I saw this Beatrice mouthing wtf as she looked away lmaoo. still no beef with her tho I’m totally alright with her.

And then for grading, I made this mistake for my red belt pattern I screwed up like wtf omg I didn’t put my feet close tgt and that Indian judge/referee ( lmao idk what to call him) pointed out my mistake and I was like shittttttt.

after that, i had to sparr with this another girl and then sparr with RAPHAELLLL?????? I was like wtf what this fucking Indian guy doing. even it is like a non contact thing its like wtfff still unfairrr. also after i was done with the whole thing, everyone told me like that indian guy kept looking at me. so much so that he missed joseph doing some fancy kick, i forgot what kick he did but lmao that Indian guy, fking black face, like this means two ways but hahahaha ok.

After grading i just went to bishan library to study with him. it was like a vvv nice library okay next time i wna study with Bryan there.

exams are tmr and I know no matter how much I study now, I still will fail lmaoooo sighhhhh. But anyways Bryan and I ended upp shopping at bishan and welppppp we bought lego characters tgttt yayyy. the lego store was like closing down so it had sales .and omg lego characs are fucking cute I cannot I want more of them but what is money :’)

The first thing I woke up was to remember that it was Justin’s birthday. although like we don’t even talk anymore and I also can’t ignore the fact that Justin hates me,but I still rmb the days when he was a vvvvv good friend of mine and I guess i really appreciated him sooo :’) i wished him hbdae and like well, he didn’t even want a convo with me he just replied: errr okay thanks. oh wellll.

well so im officially done with math exam, i didnt do well i guess, but i couldnt say i did bad either,i did mehhhh, maybe a fail or a boderline pass. idk lmao i hope i pass for math :)))

Also today I saw Xavier in nyp at first I was kinda excited seeing an old classmate so i rushed in and called his name and said hi before even thinking. well i wasat least expecting a fake smile and a hi, but instead he just turned around, saw me, and went like, “oh, ewwww?”. and then at that moment Bryan was also there and i feel so bad like idc if I’m exaggerating but like I felt ugly immediately like wtf Xavier is a piece of shit i wish that he would die lmao. he’s a fucked up fuckboy like wtf he dumped his ex for another girl in poly Xavier should die. so anyways after he said likee “ewwww” I’ve never felt so ugly in my life before like tbh i want to cover my face and just dig a hole and cry in the toilet. im like insecure and the way he Xavier replied me; I just wanted to kill him. i got fucking angry while im feeling also fucking lousy about myself. I wanted to like run to xavier and smack his girlfriend although she did nothing then punch the hell out of xavier. but lmao i have no balls and I rmbered that xavier is some muay thai champion somewhere lmao idc and he has a lot of yaknoooowww friends so i shouldn’t like mess with him and stuff. but at my end ,i was like near to my tears and fuck ive never hated Xavier this much before like what did I seriously do to Xavier back in sec sch.

I never knew why but I guess because I dated his brother K and well. maybe they both salty so they want to make my life a living hell. and at first, everyone else was okay with me. and Christopher, being a goodlooking guy, he became popular and well more guy wanted to like click and hang out with him. so to gain more attention Christopher decided to make fun of me more so he can bring me down and make himself look better. and also dianwei, he never had any friends so he had to also make fun of me so he could click with Christopher. I seriously don’t blame them, like they did this to survive school LMAO I BLAME THEM THEY CAN JUST DIE LMAO UNTIL NOW I HOLD GRUDGES. I WAS LITERALLY BULLIED LOL I DONT WANT TO SAY ‘BULLY’ CUZ LIKE FUCK IM SO ANGRY TYPING THIS RN. but yea after the end of sec 4 I just finally asked jashap and euan like: why do the guys in class hate me so much, what did I ever do to them and why are they just so mean to me. Then jashap and euan said like: “ is not I say one ah, the rest of the guys said that they don’t like you cuz you think you cute, but I think it’s a bullshit excuse la. you sometimes think you cute but I think Geralyn worse ley. I only think you cocky in sports but that’s all right cuz you’re really good and I understand if you get a little cocky.” and I srsly think it’s a bullshit excuse also.

I just feel insecure la. like if this wouldn’t happen in sec sch I wouldn’t be so insecure I will be like fucking confident, ill know my worth welllll i know I’m just decent looking i mean like seriously i dont wna tell myself otherwise but i tend to tell myself that im ugly and stuff. nvm i dont even understand myself rn. anyways even when Dianwei, xavier and christopher were making fun of me geralyn,wuli and emilyn always seemed to have fun with those boys and they always hangout and im always felt left out. cuz if i try to like join them christopher ,D and X will always like: eh, can ask her go away. fuck them even after i go away they W,G&E will still talk with the boys and im like nvm.

And then everytime i try to tell geralyn how i feel, like: eh geralyn im sad and blahblahblah, then she would like brush it off and reply things like: its okay laaa. and ill be like (in my brain: WHAT DO U MEAN ITS OKAY LOLLL) Ookay i cant blame gerlayn. Shes pretty, everyone wants to hangout with her, be her friend. all the guys wants to talk with her and stuff. so i cant really blame her when she has to choose sides like me or the guys. and i know geralyn is a nice girl and she wont just give up on one side. She will like try to make continue being friends with both side. and i think this would one day bring Geralyn to her downfall. Like for geralyn, she must stop being so nice and seriously choose a side she thinks benefit her. she cannot choose 2 conflicting sides and make freinds with both like its really difficult to to see each other fight while youre friends with both. even if history were to repeat again, i would want geralyn to pick a side. even she would stop being friends with me i rather have it that way then she try to be friends with 2 conflicting side. i would understand geralyn if she didnt pick me and i wouldnt blame her, really.

well bryan and i also decided to study today at bishan library and instead we went shopping again like omg istg we have the worst self control ever. we decided to just watch the SAO movie, the ordinal scale one. Anyways we went to that lego shop on sale again before the movie started and i bought batgirl and batman, bryan bought batman, joker & a box of nexo knights lego set. lmao istg bryan is still like a cute little kid. you should see his face when he fixes legos its just so cute lmaoooo. right now i just want to collect alot of lego characters omgggg welpppppp

after i went home,i tried studying for cep but lmao, i was alr in like holiday mood and like even if i studied it wouldn't srsly help la.

Anyways about the sao movie it was nice like i had feels but much of it was like confusing and lmao idk but yeah it was nice but lol kirito jesus-kun againnn. Today is like cep exam and duh i wasnt even alittle bit ready. so lmao i just did 3 conversion questions and i decided that im done with the paper. i cant even confirm that my conversions will be crrt but i was ready to fail this anyways sighhhh. i left the exam hall after an hour and went to the toilet and poo-ed. and while poo-ing i had a message from Wuli that she wanted to meet me. so yay, we met up and she passed me some care pakage thing (the pakaging was like srsly cute) so after that i walked home tgt with wuli then i walked back to the mrt to meet Bryan. And wtf it was raining heavily fuckkkkk and i couldnt go back home to take my umbrealla cuz my fking maid was at home urghas;fh;dsaf. well so i met up with Bteh to study (apparently to study) but we went to dhoby to weeb it out. its a saturday and wellll my 18th bdae isnt the best but it isnt one of the worst either. The best bdae would still be like 2 years ago which was my last softball game at Nationals back in sec 4 :DDD

I sneaked out of my house to see bryan. he ubered to aljunied’s mcd and he actually bought a star wars lego set and some rabbit woman from the batman lego movie. Well, we went to some void deck and he started fixing the lego thingy again. idk but he looks fucking cute when he does that?????

but okayyyy after that we ubered back to tpy and I waited for bryan to go back and shower until 5am. so like we didnt sleep the whole night and i feIt kinda guilty cuz it was like bryan’s exam and he was tired af. so after Bryan’s OC exam we went shopping and we went to like more lego shops and bought more lego characters :DDDDDDD like omg all i want to do now is to like collect lego characters :DDDDD and like we had to feel each packet for batman. i found harley quinn and yayyy. I also felt for a few batmans and yayyy i got someee. and andddd my junior said that she had all the harley quinns and she wanted to give it to me so yayyyyyyyy
